Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Bookie Show, and we are into another new hour
insensitivity training for a politically correct world. It's Monday morning.
It's June the sixteenth, twenty twenty five. Thank you for
joining us to starting your week with us.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I'm wedding.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
That's Greg Dory of Morning. Woody Menace is here.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
What is up?
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Finest follow us on social media at the Woody Show.
We got Gina Grady. We got to see that Sammy
is here, Mine Marget's here. Phones are open. Eight seven
seven forty four, Woodie. That's eight seven seven forty four Woody.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
So I have a question for you guys. I don't
know how offended I should be, but I feel pretty
offended and I'd like to get your take and see
if something like this has ever happened to you. So,
my husband and I had had a really good friend,
so we thought really good friend and got invited to
her wedding. Of course, RSVP that we were going, got
her gift, you know, save the date and everything ready
(00:54):
to go, and a week before the wedding, my husband
got a text from her about how they needed to
cut back on the size of the wedding because they
had a sudden money issue.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
That's the dream.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yeah, right, totally, and yes, but he and I said
the same thing. I was laughing about it. But wait,
there's a twist, so I was. They said they had
sudden money issues. They're asking, you know, they're reaching out
friends they thought would understand and kind of take it
in good humor. And they said it was just you know,
we're we're started to do this. We're just going to
make it close close close friends, like childhood friends and family.
(01:29):
And I thought it was weird, but I also, you know,
I love a canceled plan.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
So good always canceled. Of course we so of course.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
We didn't go, but we sent the gifts and you know,
it's all good. Never thought about it again. Well about
a week and a half, maybe two weeks after the wedding,
they started posting the pictures from the wedding on their Instagram.
This was not a small wedding, This was not and
intimate about there had to be at least I don't know,
(02:03):
seventy people sixty seven not a right understood. Mine was
one hundred and twenty. I understand, But to say it
was just going to be like, yeah, that's hardly into
the double digit.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
No, that's that. I don't think that's that's not big.
You're overreacting. Seventy Soviet has relatively small groom's parents, bride's parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles,
not to mention, parents have to invite a certain number
of their friends or like their closest business associations. You
always have that obligation list, and then you start getting
(02:34):
into the bridal party the other stuff. Yeah, the bridal party,
they're plus ones. Yeah, that that easily becomes that easily
becomes seventy.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Okay, it's small is one word they intimate? Would you
consider that intimate?
Speaker 4 (02:48):
It's small? Yeah, I don't know about small. I don't
know if it's like ten people. Yeah, it's not what
they had planned on.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
So then we're assuming that they invited three hundred people.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Whatever I'm saying. It's not that they planned on. It's
much smaller than they planned on, which is why they
had to cut the list back.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah, but talk to me, how close are you?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
How close?
Speaker 3 (03:07):
What's your My husband was very good friends with this person.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Okay, I have another question, because you saw the photos.
Did you see people in the photos that you feel
like you're yes, no, equal on the friendship level.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yes, and I was like, damn, why get on it?
So my husband was very cool about it. I was
pretty like for him because this was his friend. First,
I was pretty pissed.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
How long they've been friends since he moved.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Here, almost since he was twenty years.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Twenty years adult friends, eh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
And these were other adult friends that I was like,
they made the crunt look.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
It's gonna be hard for me to overcome my initial
reaction of rip awesome.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Again, this wasn't my friend.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Especially especially a wedding.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
I hate weddings, right, But so you're not bummed out
about it, but you are curious.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
I'm curious and like offended on my husband's behalf.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah, don't be Is he bummed out?
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I think he? He definitely did. He was like, oh,
what are you gonna do? But I was like, I
don't know. This is probably hurts his feelings.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
That's chick stuff. I don't think. I don't care. Yeah,
I don't think guys care about.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
But when they're when you're gonna post pictures from an
intimate wedding, I did not expect to see that many tables.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I think maybe you're thinking about a destination wedding where
people go to some islands somewhere and then yeah, just
like the brother and sister and then the parents and
that's it.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Maybe I don't know. I just think that when you
use words like really small and intimate, it's not seventy If.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
You get an invitation to a destination wedding, do you
even consider it? I just immediately right.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
There, I'm like, oh, it's a cool spot.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Where's the hell note box?
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I consider I consider that way more and would look
forward to that way more than just your in town wedding,
because to me, it just means, uh, you know, I
feel about dressing up. Yeah, like I gotta dress up,
I gotta go to this ceremony which is gonna be cheesy,
and you know, I hate all that over the top
romantic crap you do. I'm just not a fan of that.
And then you go through the whole thing and then
(05:04):
it's just a it's not like you're spending time with
this person. You're just there for support, right, just to
show that you that you're there and you love them.
It's not like you're hanging out with that person really
all that much because they have everybody else that they know.
There and they have to give some attention to so
it's not even like a typical hang with that friend.
The I don't know, it's it's I go because the last.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
One I got was an invitation to wedding in Norway.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yeah, all right, I should have I should have specified
tropical location destination wedding.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Then yes, yeah, i have a destination destination wedding that
I'm going to in Hawaii in October.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
And I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
See that'd be.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Fun, that would be good. Much of a destiny. I'll
be so hyped for my friend who had a wedding
outside of Sacramento, California, two hours outside in the woods.
Not so funny. Oh yeah, dude, it was a journey
save your Hippi crap like it even I keep my
phone to even work.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
It was a nightmare and you survived barely. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
We we were talking about people at weddings. What's the garter?
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah, up on that side.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
And wondering if people still did that whole thing where
they removed the garter and they do the garter toss
to the bachelor's ring and then the bachelor catches it,
and of course the bride does the tosses the bouquet
and then all the single ladies out there, because that's
like the next person that gets married is this person.
Have you guys ever seen it? Where after they do
(06:40):
the bouquet toss and then the garter toss, those two
people then go to the middle of the dance floor
and then the woman who caught the garter has to
sit in the chair. Are the sits in the chair,
and the guy with the garter has to put the
garter on her. I've seen that a few times. I
guarantee they don't do the stuff anymore. No, but what
(07:01):
so the joke by the cheesy wedding DJ was always well,
for every inch up above the knee, you go, that's
another year of happy marriage for the new couple. Why
and so it's like, yeah, it's like, you know, the
creepy DJ was just trying to get you to put
the garter up by the beaver, you.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Know, gas watching.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I know it was, And it was always like that
that song the stripper. Yeah, I've never the Midwest.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Well, I mean you around Tony our friend. Yeah, Tony,
he said that, Well that's somebody showed up to his wedding.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, the hogs out t shirt.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Only the finest gar.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
Now, maybe I agree with you that she perhaps undersold
what intimate and all that stuff means.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah, I just I assumed that intimate means like, Look,
we're basically doing like a mini ceremony.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
Now, yeah, let's get the young lady who caught the
bouquet out.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Onto the floor.
Speaker 7 (08:03):
Let's find that gentleman who's got the garter. Now you're
gonna take the garden. You're gonna put it on the
leg of this nice young lady who caught the bouquet.
And for every inch above the knee that gardener goes,
it's another year of happiness for our.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Newly went couple. Let's hear and everybody all right, here
we go.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Oh man, he's really getting in there.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Oh yeah, did he just penetrate?
Speaker 6 (08:25):
Yeah, like an Italian hall or something like the local.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, the Polish club.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Yeah, you act like you've never been to just a
basic wedding.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
I look, my mom would have had you from Tennessee, dog.
She would have had her wedding ed at the Polish club.
I'm quite sure. So I can't say I wouldn't. You've
never been to one of those kind of weddings where
they do. That's that cheesy stuff, the chicken.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Dance, the dollar dance dance.
Speaker 6 (09:00):
But I have been disinvited from a wedding much like
Gina Bucky. Uh, I was completely my fault.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
He was getting married.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
He was getting married.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
I was living in Atlanta, he had he had moved back
to Pennsylvania at the time, and he that, you know,
the whole classic thing. But they had included in their
whole response. Uh, please include your favorite recipe to bless
our new home with your the flavors of you know,
some blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Someone's gonna make a like all get a recipe book.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
Yeah, just like basically give us work for no reason
to do so. I gave being sea bass. I sent
them a recipe for stuffed placenta.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Oh God, and the wife did not like thatted.
Speaker 6 (09:44):
I got uninvited unless I had to sit down and
do an apology when I got there for the which
I did because I I didn't want to piss I
don't want to make his life harder.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Too late for that apology.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
But they knew what they were getting into.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
And see Ben, yeah, oh yeah, you invited sea baths
and you've got what you were doing. Well, I don't.
I don't think you should be offended. Okay, well that's
I think you should be psyched. It's not your friend.
I would I loved it Andy's friend.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
I didn't care until I saw the pictures and I
was like, this doesn't look into it.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
But I also think that you know, he's a guy.
I don't think he really cares. It's not going to
affect the friendship at all. That would definitely be more
of like a girl thing.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Girls would blow the whole thing up. There's no coming
back from that.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
I think there's hurt feelings.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Okay, good.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
You see friends with the bride of the groom.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
The bride, well both, but the bride first did they
did they date?
Speaker 1 (10:41):
That was my first thought.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
No, And I don't care about that stuff at all.
I have no thoughts about him.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Medison have been invited to many ex girlfriend's wedding.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Weddings and baby showers and stuff. And I don't go
out of even though if we're still cool, I don't
go out of respect for the guy because I want.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
To because you know, she didn't tell him. You know it.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
You don't want him thinking of man, you know.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
The Wood Show.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
We were talking to weddings before the break and Gina
was wondering, if we've ever been uninvited to something, nothing
that we've been bummed out about. Yeah, you know, we
were supposed to host a big concert.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Earlier this year.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
But we were excited for like this gonna be cool
and everything, but man, when it came down the reason
that got canceled was because of the the La fires
and so we couldn't do it. And so wow, it
sucked that after you know, all this emotionning and all
the other stuff and whatever. But when they said, hey,
your Saturday is going to be free, I was pretty psyched.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
I was pretty psyched bummed about that, to be honest.
So like, my favorite plan is a canceled plan. Agreed, agreed,
Now we haven't. We haven't disinvited from a certain wedding,
MENACE's wedding. While we weren't. We were never invited.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
I got to say the day to my office stage.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Well that whatever happened, Oh that's right, it's not like
it happened and we weren't there.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, yeah, that one didn't happen.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Somebody asked me about that the other day, like where
did menute get married again, I said, the Taco Bell
Cantina in Las Vegas. Adorable because how did that happen?
I go, well, you know, I'm not sure that you
guys weren't even invited that, right, I said, No, I
don't know about it. Yeah, I didn't even know about it.
We weren't even told that they had gotten married until
it was like weeks later.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
The plan was because I just wanted people to show
up to the bigger wedding and I don't have to go.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Yeah, yeah, but it would be a party, but it wasn't.
Were you gonna okay, maybe that's about I'm missing. Were
you guys going to like go through the whole like, oh,
we really didn't get married, and you were gonna.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Do like a whole like yeah, full on to let people.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Was that for like your mom or for your parents
or something so they wouldn't be bummed?
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Okay, yeah you asked us if I you're saying like, yeah,
like if we know that, Like, no, you hadn't. No,
we didn't know that part.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
That's why I'm y. Yeah, so you were going to
we can share the story probably every two weeks.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
So there we go, we don't we don't. We sure don't.
Uh yeah, so Menace got married. Then like a couple
of months later that we found out he got married.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh yeah, I got married.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
We knew that happened.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
It was all during COVID.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Yeah, and you never did the like post party thing.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
They took the money, they bought a house instead.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Way smarter, which going back to the wedding thing, definitely,
somebody said, hey, you know, uh, my husband and I
we went and just it was just us and a
couple of people, and that was the way to do it.
I agree as great as like my wife and I,
we had a we had a great wedding. It was
fun and everybody seemed to have fun. It was it
was great, and it wasn't super huge. And we still
(13:48):
think that even with that, it would have been nice
to maybe do something like completely off not off the
off the radar, but something way smaller, just parents, maybe
a couple of people. Call today, save all that money
because we paid for we paid, we paid for the wedding.
Oh yeah, you know, because it all it all is
gone one day. It's a big spend for one day.
(14:11):
Massive sweet photos and some really good photos that you
never look at.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Menaces wedding for the very first time ever.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Thank you, you.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Don't wear a wedding ring.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
I never realized that because fingers too fat.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
No, because I wanted to. We had like this whole
plan too of getting everything from Tiffany and then but
from different cities, and we've never we haven't gone to
New York because I wanted to get mine at Tiffany
in New York.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Yeah, she wears her wedding ring.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
You've been to New York, right, so, yeah, but I
haven't been. We haven't been there together. He goes a
lot of.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Which might be she without you.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Oh, yeah, it's true. That's true, Tiffany Fiji. But I
do have a question that I would like to ask you.
Should I be pissed kind of in the same Gina realm,
But I want to say two things. First, Okay, number one,
one hundred percent my fault. But number two, just let
(15:19):
me get through the story, because you're gonna, you guarantee
you that you're gonna want to jump in and say
you should have did this, you should have did that.
Just let me get through the story.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Okay, how about if I want to jump in, I'll
I'll hit the bell.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
But it's gonna totally derailed. It's gonna get off topic. Okay,
all right, okay, okay, all right, here we go. So
a couple you guys are gonna like this one. A
couple of weeks ago, A couple of weeks ago, we
were having dinner in Dallas. Right, We're having nice dinner together,
all of us, and the next day we're leaving for Vancouver, Canada.
(15:58):
While I was at dinner, I said to myself, where's
my passport?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Right?
Speaker 4 (16:05):
I realize my passport was not with me and it
was in San Francisco, California.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
What right?
Speaker 4 (16:12):
It was packed with some other luggage. So I go, hmm,
I'm gonna really need that passport the next day if
I want to go to Vancouver. So how I'm going
to fix this situation? So I call back home and
I called my brother in law because within an hour,
there was a flight that was leaving to Dallas, Okay,
(16:32):
And so I called him and it was gonna be
the last flight of the evening. I called him and like, hey, dude,
I'm gonna need a huge favor. I'm gonna need you
to fly to Dallas and bring me my passport. I'm
going to bring me my passport, which I thought was like,
not a huge deal anyways, because there was this huge
(16:52):
gaming convention happening in Dallas, which he was telling me
that he was having FOMO for, and I hit him up.
I was like, hey, dude, I'm gonna I'll fly you out.
Just bring my passport. I'll get you tickets to this thing. No,
I'll put you up in a hotel.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
You're gonna that he wanted to go to anyway?
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Did he want to go to anyways? But he was
texting me saying that he was mad that he missed it.
So he goes, all right, cool, I'm checking my credit card,
checking my credit card, there's no charges for a flight,
and that the time is ticking, and I'm like, I
call back. He doesn't pick up. It's spicy nacho. She
picks up. He's like, She's like, uh, he doesn't want
(17:30):
to go. He doesn't want to go. Why does he
have to work? Does he have to do anything? No,
he just doesn't want to go. Does okay? Like, yeah,
sou he said a courier or something. I go No,
I'm not gonna like depend on a courier showing up
with my passport for a flight that I have to
leave the next day, like is he come in or not?
(17:53):
And then so we're going back and forth on text,
and then eventually I called for the third time he
doesn't pick up, and she tells me, Yeah, he's coming.
He's coming. He's gonna he's gonna drop off your passport.
He's gonna show up at five thirty am the next day.
You just got to meet him at the airport. Meet
him at the airport. He doesn't want to stay, No,
he just wants to drop it off and leave the
(18:14):
next day. I mean, leave right away. I go, okay, fine,
he's being super weird. Show up at five thirty the
next day. It's spicy Nacho. It's not him. She shows up.
So she changed all of her flights because she was
already gonna meet us in Vancouver.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
So the four hundred dollars problem that I was gonna
pay for him to get a flight ended up being
a three thousand dollars flight because she booked from She
rebooked her flights from San Francisco to tow It to Dallas.
Hold on, Greg, you're warning it, yeah, to Dallas to
(18:51):
Dallas to Portland to Vancouver. All first class, right first,
so I know where you're gonna so I know what
you're gonna say. Yeah, yeah, Okay, hold on, Woody and Sammy.
I the third call. The third call I made, I
was gonna say, Hey, I'm just gonna ask what if
we can hop on the flight? Now you can hop
on the flight with us? But I didn't want to inconvenience.
(19:12):
What do it was gonna be a huge pain. Who
knows what happened. We have a very short time to
make a decision, right. They lied to me and said
that the brother was coming, so I thought everything was fine.
But there she is with the passport. So should I
be upset with the brother at all for not wanting
(19:33):
to come, because I could have called any one of
my friends back home and they would have just done it,
done it. But he had like really nothing to do.
I mean, I would have done that in a second
if he called me. Yes, is this is where we
get to Okay, chime in a right, Okay, hold on,
don't get off topics. Stay on there on the brother
for a second.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
I'm on the brother.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
No, he didn't want to do it. Fine, she was
willing to step into it, or they could have told
you like, hey, no, I'm not into it, they gotta say.
But she's like, you know what it, I'll do it.
The minute she decided that she was going to come
to Dallas and do that whole thing is when you
should have hit me up and said, hey man.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
She didn't tell me.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
That's the problem.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
I know, but it doesn't matter. But that now there you
are and there she is. Just it's like we were
all in the same place. Just go hey man, and
that way she's not making an unnecessary trip and a
connecting fight everything else. Dude, we had our own plane
to take us from Vancouver to from Dallas to Vancouver.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
But I'm telling you, by the third call, I was
just like, let me just talk to him, and like before.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
I would have put my wife back on a plane
somewhere else just to go to the same place where
we're immedia.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Didn't do that. I didn't do that. I was told
that the brother was going to come and drop off
the whole time I was that's what they were telling me.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yes, But when she showed up at that point, like
I would have just changed in the morning.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
And do you even know if like if you could, yeah, it's.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Worth it, it's worth a call.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Yeah, the answer could be no, but you can always But.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Then she already booked a flight that leave immediately to
go to the other place she ranged it. I can't
like get on the phone with you and.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Maybe but I would do it. Maybe, But either way,
you paid the money for that, so I would have
for the convenience factor, I would have just eaten that
and just stayed instead of.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Doing all the other jumping around.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Now, the thing is, okay, I know what it should
have could have. I know that's what we what we
would have talked about. But the thing is, like, should
I be upset with with the brother at all?
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Or I certainly just would never rely on him for anything.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Like you said that you would.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
You would do it for him.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
So that's the upsetting part is that in return, you
don't feel like it's an equal relationship.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
Don't have to work, you didn't have to do anything.
Is this the same brother in law we've heard of
before who's kind of shiftless.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
Let's say, yes, well not so much anymore. He's got
a he's got a job.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Now he has a job.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Is he still mutual streaming services? That's a question on
the text.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
He does.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Okay, so the favors only go one way.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
It's it's not that an he's not a loser anyway,
but he just not like a super motivated Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Can I just ask a quick question. I want to
make sure I heard something right, because I was listening
really intently to this straight. Did Spicy Nacho your wife
take multiple first class flights?
Speaker 4 (22:10):
Yes? Why? Because uh, there's no direct I guess I don't.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Know, Like she only she had to take first class?
Speaker 4 (22:18):
No. No, I mean because she's like, she's like, if
I have to do it, then I'm going to go
first class.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Okay, I respect it. Just want to make sure I.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Heard that right. Look she asked me.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Yeah, but just following back of your mind, the next
time he asked you for a favor, then the answer,
unless you're really into doing it or whatever, don't feel
bad saying no, yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Or say yes. And then just because now.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
You know where you stand with this, Because because there's
been multiple problems where I have to like fix his
problems for him, so next time that happens, next time
that happens, just say no.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
I mean, I think you have the right to be
mad at him, because it was a very very very
important timely issue. You had a deadline, you had a
certain flight you need did that passport? And this isn't sorry,
I don't want to right And then he said yes
and then stopped answering his phone when you said, like, hey,
are you that's a bit.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
You know I need this?
Speaker 4 (23:11):
That screams unreliable, shiftless. That's why I asked.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
So I'd be mad at him for having ignored your
calls because you just wanted to follow up, like, hey,
are we doing this? Are you on your way? I
got to figure out something else.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, now you can.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
Any of my friends back home, they would have done
Speaking of could, would have? Should have?
Speaker 6 (23:27):
I asked before I said, someone's gonna forget their passport?
Who is it?
Speaker 4 (23:33):
So embarrassed?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Anytime I go anywhere where there's a passport required, that's
the first thing I get. I check multiple times, like
I checked on the flight multiple times before, on the
way to the airport multiple like.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
I'm so you know good about it, but I didn't know.
Because we're going to multiple cities. You don't have a
passport card?
Speaker 6 (23:51):
Menace?
Speaker 4 (23:51):
I would think you would, oh the like the global
entry cards, passport card. It's Mexico Canada card.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Yes, that's the one you're gonna be able to put.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
On your phone, right, I didn't. I know I'm in
the wrong and it's totally my fault, but that one
part is just kind of bothering me.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Well, especially since this is somebody you've done multiple favors
for and it was a place you wanted to go.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
None of this makes it does make sense to me.
That's why it's so frustrating.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Well, I mean, that was nice to Spicy Notcho to
step up, Yeah, for sure and do it. It's also
she didn't want to go on the trip by herself again,
so she's like, all right, I guess I'll bring them
Now she wanted to go by herself, She's gonna be like,
oh sucks for you dog.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
I don't know, man. I've talked to a couple of
friends about it, and they say that they would be upset.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
To I don't know why I said yes and then
just ghosted you.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
That is strange to see an adult adult.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Six two six. What I don't understand is why your
wife needed to fly first class?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (24:46):
I do Yeah. If I'm doing that kind of favor
for somebody, I.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
Don't think that we don't get.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
You anything before we leave to get a.
Speaker 6 (25:02):
Show.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Some feedback on your question, menus, Should you be upset?
Should you be pissed at your brother in law for
refusing to help you out? Yeah, I'd be mad at
the brother for being a flake. I wouldn't be mad
if he had literally said no. But the fact that
he said yes and then bailed his lame and then
the fact that your wife is the one that set
up to do it. But I love spicy not you're
(25:26):
taking first class to drop something.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Off big part of the story.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Well, yeah, I mean it's pretty really Yeah, if you're
going to do it, that's the way to do it.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Yes, you know, I'm not mad at that.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Nine one five says, uh, Yeah, it kind of sucks
because it's a favorite. Plus, Menace was already paying the
favor back by doing something nice for the brother in law,
by paying for all of it and sending him somewhere
that he allegedly or allegedly already wanted to go.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
Yeah, he was telling me months about it.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah weird, Yeah, that was really weird. It's just weird
that he's not the one that told you, like he
wasn't gonna do it, because that would have given you
the opportunity to.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Figure something else out.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Coordinate, like even if it was spicy Nacho, like, Hey,
bring all your stuff for the trip. Come here, we.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
Have another way to get to Vancouver. Just go with
us or whatever that would be as supposed to making
her run the errand, but first class not a bad
way to do it. No.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, you can send us
a text over to two two nine eight seven. A
Woody show will be right back.
