Speaker 1 (00:03):
Yo, Bootlet keV Show Real one to three nine Vegas.
We are blessed to have WrestleMania comeing to the Raider
Stadium next year. All right, and I got two superstars
who might be the best heels in the business at
the very moment. Shout out to Dominic Mysterio Live Morgan,
Welcome to the Bootlet keV Show. How y'all doing.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Good morning?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
This belt I would like to let's first of all,
you are the Champ Live and you have this belt here.
It is a lot dirtier and worn down than I
expected it to be. Is this so?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
I know why? It's because the woman that had this
before me.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Yeah, you know, Rio Ripley Rotchet kept it dirty to
not take good care of I had to take it over,
and Becky Lynch the same thing with Becky Lynch to
not take care of this thing.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
And so I.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yeah, yeah, but they they this is that man. I'm
just trying to do with it what I can and
take care of it.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I love it. You guys have one of my favorite storylines.
First of all, Dominic, I'm not gonna lie to you.
I get to keep it a buck with you cause
my son, me and my I mean, I'm a diehard
wrestling fan. I've watched everything like a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
I love the shirt by the way, thank you you
I got the shirt.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, you know what I mean, dirty dumb show the
back back back with you on it, you know, the Nuggies.
But dude, I I was like not a big fan
of you as like a character. And then you had
like your NXT run and I respected that, and then
just the whole Judgment Day run, I feel like you
guys took like I know that everybody was like, you know,
(01:39):
bloodline was the biggest thing moving. But I I have
just loved everything that's been happening with Judgment Day over
the last couple of years, and I love how it's
all kind of like melted. But for you, man, like,
can you talk about just like how dope it's been
to just see like the evolution of the Judgment Day
storyline and where it's kind of ended up now with
(02:00):
everybody kind of you know, bad blood was dope, Like, Like,
how do you feel about just kind of the last
couple of years.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Man, Honestly, it's it's been a hell of a ride.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
You know.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Judgment Day was definitely a life changing for me. As
far as like what I learned with everyone, and yeah,
just hanging around everyone. But yeah, we definitely had some
dead weight that we had to get rid of. And
now that that's taking care of, I feel like we're
the best we've ever been. You know. It's like with
(02:31):
the addition of you know, Raquel and Carlito. It's honestly,
I feel like we're at the best state of the
Judgment day we possibly can be.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Interesting dead weight huh yeah, dead for you live? Is
it very like? Because I feel like your arch nemphsis
is Rhea and she's I mean, you're super over, but
she's like throw the moon over. Does that bother you? No?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Because I think she's losing. I think all her fans
are losers.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
So I don't care that she's over with her supporters
because I think they're all ugly and they're all losers
and they're all pathetic, just like graver bleis.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
So I don't care at all.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Interesting, Okay, I second that fair enough? Yo, Dominic. You
were were you at the Hall of Fame when Paul
Hayman did his speech? I was not. You weren't there.
I was not.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
I was not invited.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
You weren't invited. No, you weren't there. Were you there
to live?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
I was there.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I'm curious because I was there too, and it was
one of the most epic Like why I remember that
night there was another wrestling thing going on in town
in Philly, and me and my son were like, but
it's Hayman, dude, like we gotta go see, like we
just gotta go, like and like I remember, so we
left before the rock came out because I was it
(03:46):
was late. I don't know. I mean, I don't you
guys remember, because I think it was after it was
after SmackDown, right, yeah, so it just was late. So
like as soon as Hayman did his sake, I was like,
all right, dudelet's go to sleep. We got a long
data on.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Hayman opened up, right, I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
I believe he did. It was it was we.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Got a bad there though. After all I said, we
came up, we saw, we like what we needed to see.
But like, how cool was that for you? Seeing that live?
Because like live, I love it, like.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
You know, you can't take back live and he just
said what he wanted to say, and it's kind of like,
you know, it's iconic to see, but then also like
you're like, damn.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I wish I could just he just want to say
he really.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Went for it, you know, and so it was it
was it was it was cool to see, and it
was funny and it was entertaining and it was just like, so,
Paul Hayman, it couldn't have been better.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
How dope? You think it's going to be uh NXT
doing a live event at the ECW Arena in Philly.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
It's gonna be awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I think they sold out too.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
It's gonna mean yeah, yeah, I just think like that's
got to be, like the energy in there is going
to be crazy, especially if they get him to roll
out with the jacket and the hat.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yeah, you've got it. It's gonna be something one.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Hundred who has been like for each one of you
guys obviously answered this separately, but you know, you always
hear about like whether it's Triple H or Paul Hayman
behind the scenes, or certain guys who are like you know,
obviously you've got your dad, who you know, for better
or worse, probably guided you through earlier parts of your career,
but who's been kind of like some ogs in the
locker room that embraced each of you guys early on,
(05:12):
and that you know you you would consider.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Mentors as far as like my peers.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Or just like you know, like when you first came in,
like was there like a someone who had been around
for a while, that had like kind of put their
arm around you, showed you the ropes.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
When I first started, like no, really, I shall no, no,
But after you know, getting to know some of the girls,
and I feel like Bailey has always been grey, Nadi
has always been grey. Michael Hayes has always been great
and teaching me things, Pauhamon has always been great, and
so a lot of I mean, there's so many people
(05:51):
to think because it's there's there's so many coaches, and
I feel like you can learn from anyone, right and
so but those are I guess just some of the
people that I think of our Like what.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
About your dominique, you know, I think it's it's definitely
changed as my career is, you know, evolved, But in
the moment top of my mind that I can think of,
Randy's always been there. Yeah, as far as like texting me,
even when he was before he came back, he'd always
(06:21):
text me. I remember when I turned on my dad.
He was one of the first people to text me like, like,
enjoy the ride, kid.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
You know what I don't understand too, is like like
people forget like how like he's one of the greatest
heels of all time when he's like peak heel Randy,
Like it's crazy. Was there anybody you kind of took
from because you had like a sharp heel turn and
it was like like you go against your dad, like
like and your mom and your sister. I mean it
was it was lit Like it was incredible. And then
(06:49):
that rolling into the momentum of the judgment day, who
were you kind of grabbing from, like influence wise in
terms of like just like leaning into being dirty Dawn, A.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Lot of nine ran late w cw Eddie, uh, just
Dean Malenko out to Malink, Yeah, Jericho, just a lot
of those old school guys, just the way they would
just work and be gritty. But definitely, honestly, I'd spent
my time just watching Eddie and Art bar m m, yeah,
(07:21):
both of them together, just the way that they would
just disrespect their opponents, you know, after they're laying He
gave up pot Driver and ar bar is just slapping
the hell out of someone because he's just can you
know stuff like that that was just buried in.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
WrestleMania. Tickets are on sale Friday for the public. You
could get him Allegiant Stadium. It's going to be a movie. Uh,
there's obviously we don't know what the card is gonna be.
There's a I mean, there's a few things that I
think the fans are kind of I think you guys
are obviously gonna be involved because it's two days again.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
So WrestleMania Ye Vega Dominic Champions, the most iconic couple
in w history.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Are you guys excited uh to have it here in Vegas? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Yeah, most definitely.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
It's gonna be crazy like Vegue. I mean, I mean,
you know cause it's like I've been to like a
like MANI and I've been like hanging out at the
bar at like the Hilton or wherever you guys are
usually at because I got some of the friends you
know that wrestling and uh, but I'm just thinking like
what is that, Like, what's the hotel going to be
like at like Vegas at midnight?
Speaker 2 (08:23):
In Vegas, I'm Jim Graham, you know what I mean crazy.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
I don't think we're gonna depending on how the night goes,
which mostly will end up pretty well for us.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Now we're going to be great.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
Yeah, well we'll definitely won't be at a hotel. We'll
probably be out and about celebrating. You definitely have Like
we're in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
You guys should go to the Spearmitt Ryan. It's a
good place out here. What is that it's a strip club.
It's a good place. Yeah. Yeah. They got great chicken nuggets. Actually,
they got great chicken wings. They really do. It's the best.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
Interesting.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yeah. No, I think Mania is going to be crazy in.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Vegas and maybe WrestleMania Energy and Las Vegas Energy combined,
it's gonna be crazy.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
I got a question, just pure speculation. There was this
like story that came out that The Rock was going
to be too busy to be at Mania. The Final
Boss just popped out on TV. He replied to one
of those comments online and said that this is a
bullshit story. If you guys had to predict, Like, what's
what's your head telling you? Do you think? Do you
think the Final Boss will be at Mania?
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Like if you had if you were betting, you know,
my honest opinion, your honest opinions. I could care less.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
That's fair, that is fair. We don't care.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
We care about what we've got going on.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
No, I get it, I get it. Yeah, you guys
got your own family issues to work out. For sure.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Issues.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
There's no issues. Today is a family and there's no.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
I mean, you know there's I mean there's been a
nice breakup between I mean, Priest is gone, is gone.
He was a former leader who was Damian Priest there
right right, right, right, right right right. How cool has
it been? I feel like Finn Balor is one of
the most talented guys in the ring there is, and
(10:06):
I feel like Judgment Day kind of pushed him in
a way that the fans hasn't haven't really seen him
in terms of like he was always this like mysterious guy,
Like he'd come out with that crazy ass like entrance,
which was amazing if you saw it at n XT
back in the day, it was crazy. But I feel
like he's he had to turn on like the personality
side with what's going on with the Judgment Dan, we
got to see that side of him. How cool has
(10:27):
it been to just work closely with Finn who is
technically like one of the greatest to do it, like
he's a base man.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
I mean, it's honestly been so fun just being able
to pick his brain and being in matches with him
and him guiding me through certain things and just like
put seeing how he puts things together.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
It's it.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
It shows why he's one of the greatest of all time,
especially like in ring wise and like he's he's the man.
You know. I first met him in twenty seventeen. Yeah,
and ever since then he's kind of like been my
stepdad nice and it's it's.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Worked out or your actual dad, because your actual dad's
not really you know you guys, aren't you know dad?
You know, hey Eddie Eddie. Yeah. But I just like,
just from like a the fact that you and your
former dad show up the places at the same time
but don't sit together if it's not wrestling related. I
respect the hell out of it.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Yeah, I mean I don't.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Why would you sit with him?
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Yeah? I don't spend time with them outside of work.
Even in work, I don't. I try to avoid him,
so I'm going to enjoy my time. Why would I
want to sit with someone who would ruin my time.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
You grew up in the San Diego area, Is this correct? Correct?
How do you feel about the Dodgers taking out your
padres man? That was that was hurtful? Huh? Yankees in
four Yankees in four. We're in Vegas, now Vegas. We
do have a Tacos El Gordo, which is also in
San Diego. It's obviously to you. I always say, I rank.
(11:58):
I live in l A. I used to live here
in Vegas. I'm from Phoenix, so I've had a ton
of great Mexican food. But I would say San Diego
has by far the best Mexican food in the United States.
I don't even think it's like a discussion.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Okay, nice, save yourself, you know, by.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Far, I don't even think like like, I don't even
like people people who say otherwise haven't been to San
Diego period.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
You get it because people from La fight me on
this all the time. The best Mexic food.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Shut the I live in l A.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
Yet, Yeah, how how is your Mexican food better when
you're two and a half three hours away?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I would say it's proximity, man, it's proximity.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
Where I every weekend, I would take ten minutes to
get across the border to go see my family, Like
it's it's do.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
You still like go to Tijuana like often to go
visit family and.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Heavy now and then when I'm in San Diego, Yeah, yeah, family.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
That that's where the best food is. Seafood the mauricecos
in TJ or port Porto, it's the best. I would
tell what people I said, Look, if you go to Mexico,
just if you live in La it's worth just to eat. Yeah,
just go across the border, get fat, get your pharmaceuticals,
(13:09):
you know, get you a z pac. You know what
I'm saying, come back home all the goods man for
you guys. Like h Now that you guys have each
had like WrestleMania moments, like is it is it? Like
I mean, I feel like when you when you're a
wrestling fan, you always hear about WrestleMania moments and everybody
having their moment? Is that kind of like would you
(13:31):
guys equate that to like, you know, uh, feeling like
maybe you want a championship in basketball or or you know,
I feel like that's like is that kind of like
a fair equivalence in terms of the wrestling world, Like
just having that moment on the biggest stage.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
I think that's always like the goal.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yes, you know, have an amazing win on the grander
stage of them all, WrestleMania. I don't think I find
my WrestleMania money yet. Moment.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah, So I'm gonna that's gonna be this year. I'm
gonna have a Wrestlemanium moment this year.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
But I feel like there's certain things, as like a
w superstar that like are like the pinnacle of like ooh,
I'm like doing it, you know, like action figure, video
game Championship, Yeah, WrestleMania.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
I feel like the Action figure for sure, like if
you can go to Walmart and buy yourself or.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Like a video game where you sick or the video game.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Video game is cool, but the toy like they got
like patches where you could be anybody in the video
game at this point. Like I don't know if you
guys have seen some of these like these like hacks
on WW two K the cause they got like Drake
and Kendrick wrestling like they do, I swear, but no,
it's you know, I just think the you know, with
WrestleMania coming to Vegas, I know you guys are each
going to be involved. So, like you said, you feel
(14:39):
like you have your moment hasn't happened.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yet, have my moment this year?
Speaker 1 (14:41):
What was it like for you guys, like, you know,
because I always feel like NXT is has kind of
changed wrestling because I feel like, you know, one, we
got a third show, right, but two, there's like a
real place to develop talent and there's a real place
like to like I almost feel like I'm a music guy.
(15:02):
So like back in the day, we used to be
able to just like discover rappers on the in the
blog air of hip hop and stuff, and I feel
like NXT is kind of that that and for each
of you guys, what is NXT meant to your guys' careers?
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Well, NXT was very different when I started than what
it is right now. It's grown and progressed. You just
started its own thing twenty fourteen.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Okay, yeah, yah, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
So I was.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
I lived in Tampa at the time and.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
The performance and I think opened like a year which
was in Orlando.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah, and so like I got to see like the
random like Lakeland shows where like Kevin Owens or Finn
would come out.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
But I think that'd been on Hulu. Yeah, it was
very much developmental and.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
It was super It was kind of underground.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
It was underground, Yeah, like you didn't really know about
it unless you were watching on Hulu, you know, And so.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
NXT is like always home for me. It's where I
took my first bump. It's where I learned everything that
I know. And so a different relationship than maybe some
people have with it NAPS because of how it's blown
up and now it's it's evolve mental, but it's really
its own.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
It's its own show now.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
So one hundred percent. What about you, man, because like
you kind of you've had it. You had a cool
run in NXT.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Yeah, my my relationship with NXT is very different than
everyone else. I kind of skipped it right and then
went back and then went back. Yeah, then one took
over n x T. Yeah, so it definitely holds a
special place in my heart, you know.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
And it's like Sean Michael's like back there, like running
running shit, Like I.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
Mean I saw Sean there, yeah, but I as far
as like backstage stuff, I wasn't really involved.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
I just saw him like Sean's the guy he's got
headphones on and stuff.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
He's the man. But yeah, I definitely I love n XT.
In my time there was was very special. They they
welcomed me with open arms, you know, Sean and the
rest of the crew, and honestly it was it was
really cool to be able to just go down there
because I always felt some type of way of not
going through it. Yeah, and then like not in a
(17:02):
bad way. I was always kind of like, well, you know,
I'm here, Yeah, this is what it is. But then
like going back and doing it completely different than everyone
else because everyone starts there.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Your process was different.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
Yeah, so I started differently and then went back to it. Now.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
That's dope. How are you guys feeling? I feel like
things have been so on point, Like some of these
vignettes said have been getting produced have just been I mean,
I just think about some of the bad Blood stuff
with like Metro booming and Cody and Triple H, and
then like the stuff on the football field roaming, and
I mean this is just next level productive. I mean
(17:39):
just next level storytelling happening on all fronts. And I
think you could attribute a lot to that to this
kind of being like the Triple H era, right, like,
how has it been like being involved You guys have
seen different eras of the business, but with Paul running
things and I mean doing such an amazing job, Like,
what's it been like during the New era?
Speaker 3 (18:01):
I think it's been you know, ww, it always is growing,
it's always evolving, It's always kind of like at the
cutting edge of entertainment. And I feel like this new
chapter has been just kind of like create, Like it's
been like creatively a lot of creative freedom.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Yeah, it's kind of do what you want to do
and like look how you want to look and say
what you want to say. Yeah, it's just kind of
more freedom.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
I also feel like, you know, like the when he
was running n XT, you would see like the kind
of people who would like get brought up. Like I
feel like, you know, back in the day, you had
to look a certain way to be like one of
the main guys. You know what I'm saying. You had
to be jacked and you know, look like John Cena essentially,
you know. But then like guys like Daniel Bryan would
come through or Finn or you know, or even even
(18:50):
Kevin Owens. So I just think I think it's been dope,
like white.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
It's a cool evolvement, you know.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
One hundred percent. Do you guys play uh, like, do
you guys play too? Like two k A lot? Like
ww twok, Like do you get like I would be
fucking ship up on there all the time?
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I only play myself.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
That's obviously me too. Do you guys get stressed out?
Like do you wrestle like Riha in there and like
put it on like super easy and you just beat
the hell out of her and drag her around the ring.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Oh I need to put her on super easy to
do that.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Listen. Rian is very talented.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah, mm hmm, okay, anything else?
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Oh? Fair enough?
Speaker 4 (19:23):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Did you want to like leave her a message? I
I want to do you want to confessor love to her?
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Give This is your opportunity because you know she's watching,
because she's obsessed with me and Dominik.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
So this is shoot your shot.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
She is obsessed.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Yeah, you'll probably watch Loser.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
She is probably watch this and cry. Yeah, Oh she
is obsessed. That's a fair point, yo. So WrestleMania is
going to be the nineteenth and twentieth WrestleMania four twenty
in Vegas where weed is legal. Just like to point
that out. I'm going to be what are you looking
at me for? I'm going to be high as hell
at WrestleMania with my son. That's would you say Sunday
(20:02):
and it's a Sunday. Oh, I'm gonna be betting on football,
so I'm gonna have a bunch of tickets in my pocket.
I'm gonna be i'na be off that good good and
I'll be watching wrestling today. It's gonna be a great time.
Is there anything for you guys, like you know, for
for anybody who is listening in Vegas who hasn't experienced WrestleMania.
I always say it is like the biggest spectacle there is.
(20:25):
I think it's like in my opinion, like, uh, it's
it's the one event I look forward to every year
more than the super Bowl, more than anything. And I
think the way it's even the last couple of years,
like how it's like each day feels like I think
it's a five match per day. Like I feel like
this is the new thing where there's like five matches
on pay per views.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
It's hard to have like an eight hour show and
it's happened and entertains it's happening.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Trust me. Yes, I've been to those shows. I'm like, oh,
we got to get Do you like this?
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Do you like the two nights better?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
I do? I definitely do. But what what can like
for people who haven't been to WrestleMania who are kind
of like maybe listen, maybe they're like generic fans that
kind of understand a little bit what's going on? What
are they missing if they don't come to WrestleMania.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Well, we say a lot like WrestleMania is like our
version of the super Bowl. Right, It's by far the biggest,
grandest spectacle that we put on all year. So I
mean lights, piros, special guests, incredible matches, and in Las
Vegas too.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Yeah, you know that's going to be insane.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Yeah, it's gonna be crazy. What about you?
Speaker 4 (21:28):
Honestly, I think this is going to be the biggest
WrestleMania we've ever had, just because we feel like we
have to top last year's I.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Mean, Phil, I mean dude, Philly was quite possibly the
greatest ever that's song until in order to top that,
we have to do something better this year, which, like
I said, I think this WrestleMania is going to be
the best WrestleMania we've ever had, was there, like for
you Dominic, being so close to the business as a kid.
I mean, there's so many in here since so five,
But I'm saying, like, for you, was there a WrestleMania
(21:58):
moment that you remember being around as a kid that
you just like that sticks out. Maybe that doesn't even
have to involve your dad per se, but just like
anything that you miss.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Yeah, and it does involve my dead beat, it involves
both my dad's actually WRESTLINGA twenty one when it goes Hollywood, yep.
I remember it was just a mess of getting people inside,
and Eddie and uh Ray were the first match, and
we were with Eddie's family as well and everything. Your family, Yeah,
(22:28):
we were, you know, I was there with my family
as well, and like it was just like a mess
to get us in and it was impossible. But as
soon as the bell rang, somehow, some way, like we
managed to make it all the way through the stadium
with elevators and like into where we were supposed to
get to, and like as soon as they locked up,
we were like walking in.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
You walked in, saw it like perfect timing.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
And I just remember that like very vividly, like walking
in everyone as a family, like just going and seeing like.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Them opening up the show. Yeah, that's amazing.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
I mean we missed their entrances, but like the bell
rang and they like locked up for the first time.
That's what we got to see when we like walked in.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Yo, we're obviously a hip hop station. Your dad is
cool with Hella rappers. I'm assuming you've been around a
bunch of those guys as a kid, Like, was there
any like artists that you were able to hang out
with as a kid that you were like, Yo, this
is kind of crazy. Snoop Dog's around. I mean, obviously
you guys probably met Snoop a ton now because he's
every so many.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
That too, I remember, which gets me very upset. I
was like maybe thirteen, fourteen years old. We went to
my dad was like, hey, you want to go meet Snoop,
the bad, fucking, terrible dad that he is. We go,
we go to go meet Snoop and Snoop's on his
bus and my dad goes, hey, you can't come in,
And I was like why not? And he's like, You're
(23:42):
just gonna have to wait here, So he goes in.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
He left you outside of them.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
I stood out there for maybe like ten fifteen minutes. Yeah,
just waiting for him, and then he walks out. He goes,
We're gonna have to see him another time.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
What I mean, I think you can understand why. Yeah,
you would have got a contact tie. You would have
walked into a smoky bus.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
I was fourteen.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Would have been fine, he would have been fine. He
deprived that movie.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Yeah, that was my That was my one time to like,
you know, actually, and I've met Snoop before.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yeah, of course, I mean he's at every WrestleMania.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
That was the time to meet him.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Yeah, you know he took that away from me. Hey,
how cool has it been for you guys? I want
to know your guys is uh, if you guys can
tell me what you know. I people hate Logan Paul.
He's a great heel, but somehow he has kind of
like walked into being like a freakish athlete and like
he's had some pretty crazy spots for somebody who's like
(24:33):
a newbie. Uh, is like, like, what do you guys
feel about Logan Paul? And just like kind of his
place in the WWE.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I feel like he's talented.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Yeah, he's super talented, like naturally.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yeah, I mean, I mean I wrestled the guy was
at his first I was his first mania.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Yeah uh yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
I think I think he stays a lot to learn,
for sure, And I think the time that he has
to be able to like practice and develop more stuff
is more power to him. Because you know, I said
it when I was on his podcast, but like we're
constantly on the road right every week, and like he's
(25:20):
he lost the title how long ago? Yeah, we haven't
seen him since, true true logan, but you know.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
We no, I mean this the grind for full time wrestlers.
I think it's gotten a little easier than maybe it
wasn't like the nineties or two thousands. Yeah, but even now,
like to have families and to like have a real
life outside of like the WWE has got to be
like just a strain. Like how many days a week
are you guys on the road.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
It's like it's like it's lesseran now, you know, we
don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, I think you get like you get like you
actually get like days off.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Now, solid days and you know, depending on back.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
In the day cheese, yeah, like when you're I'm sure
your dad was just like out.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Yeah I remember him being gone like two three weeks
for like those long European tools. You know, I grew
up basically without a dad.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Yeah, but you know he's a dead beat obviously.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
That's you know, I am the way I am.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
I love it, you know, uh, for you guys obviously,
Wrestle Media tickets will be on sale Friday. People can
register for pre sale access. We'll put the link up
on the website. Real Real one of three nine LV
dot com. Is there anything outside of your guys's storyline
or what you guys got going on that you guys
(26:33):
are just fans of every week that you're able to
just like nothing, truly, there's nothing where you're like, oh
this is kind of cool. No, my dog? Your dog?
What kind of dog you got? She's a little boxer
pitbull boxer pitbull. Interesting, So you guys aren't like, like
like there's nothing that's going on where you guys are like,
(26:55):
because I feel like I feel like, you know what
I love the I don't know. I mean, you guys
probably saw this, but when Brown Breaker and Jacob Futu
came face to face, I think this was was this Friday.
Did you like Monday?
Speaker 4 (27:06):
It was Monday?
Speaker 1 (27:07):
I just feel like that ship like that.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Did you like that?
Speaker 1 (27:11):
I love that. I hope that happens. How'd you feel?
I was like, this has to be something in the future.
I also felt kind of bad for for Jay for
dropping the belt so quick, but I didn't know, you know,
as you should it as you should. It sucks.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
I said it last time. He's Jay's ass.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
He's ass. Yeah, yeah, fair enough, next guy, though I
met him a super nice guy. All right, So your
padre sucks. Speaking of things that suck, what Sorry, I
had to throw that out there. I just had to
throw that out there.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
You don't get any more.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
You don't get any mono, even though I also hate
the Yankees, but.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
Yeah, I mean, I feel like you got to pick
your poison if it's the Yankees or Dodgers, right, Like
I want the West Coast to because you know, West
Coast is the best coast.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
Like Yankees in four?
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Yeah, Yankees in four. Let's hope. So I'm I'm I was,
and I live in LA and I'm surrounded by Dodgers fans.
I can't stand it. So anything like and they just
you know, they got Otani. It's like Cheat and Mookie Pittson. Yeah,
it's it's great, you know funds like that. Yeah. Yeah,
the two highest payrolls are in the World Series. It's
it's pretty crazy. Yeah, one hundred percent. All right, So
(28:17):
WrestleMania Man Vegas. It's gonna be crazy. I'm excited. Plus,
have you guys been in the New Raiders Stadium yet? Yeah?
It's pretty it's pretty gnarly. It's like a it's like
a spaceship. And have you been in yet? No? Okay,
well I.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Don't think so.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
It's like not ringing a bell de SummerSlam twenty one.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Okay, Summer Slam twenty twenty one was Yes, No, I
haven't been there. There it is. Uh, yeah, it's gonna
be crazy. You know what I'm hoping. I'm hoping we
get a Hell in the Cell match because I feel
like Drew and Punk might have brought back like the
Hell in the Cell the way it's supposed to be.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Who do you want to see in the Hell in
the You and Rio?
Speaker 1 (28:58):
They did that? No, I want you and Rio?
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Yo?
Speaker 1 (29:00):
If you and Ria were in Helena cell?
Speaker 2 (29:02):
What what do you think? What would happen?
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Lots of blood? Yeah, right, yeah, from her from both
of you guys, she currently would you do a hell
in the Cell match with Rha? If it was like,
would you would you be into that?
Speaker 3 (29:13):
I mean if that would finally get her off of
my back, then yeah, I would do anything at this
point to get her to.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Leave us alone.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
You feel like she's stalking you, Loki.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Yeah, it's it's a little bit concerning. I'm a little
bit scared for her mental health.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Yeah. I would say if I had to pick a match,
it would be you vers Ria hell in the cell
and then you're just like, you know, you're standing outside
with some dirty doms Shenanigans.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Okay, yeah, I can I can manage.
