Speaker 1 (00:05):
Seven Jet showed He's ninety second news update now.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Good morning by Carter Subaru.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Mostly cloudy with a shower in the area late in
the afternoon. High of sixty, so it'd be pretty chill today.
The se Awk's first opponent of next season will be
those same suckers that we crushed at the end of
last year, the Patriots, Wednesday, September ninth, to begin the
regular season.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
That's cool, that's fine. You like that. That's a pretty storybook. Well, yeah,
that's fine. Yeah, it's all fine.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Done.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
To see us unveil the banner and the whole it'll.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Be nice for them to be there. A Covington to
Hawaii tourist named Igor Latinovichuck or whatever. There's a lot
of confidence in there, way more than should be. You
know who I'm talking about, the guy who drew widespread
combination after allegedly hurling a huge rock at a beloved
and endangered Hawaiian Monksi'll and Maui. He has officially been

(01:01):
arrested and he may serve up to a year in jail.
Remember when witnesses confronted him, he apparently said he did
not care and was rich enough to pay any fines,
so couldn't have happened to a worse guy. Three Seattle
area beaches closed to a dangerously high bacteria level in
the water. Don't swim at Madison Park Beach, Seward Park
Beach and Jan Koulan Memorial Beach Park. Didn't I tell you?

(01:24):
I went to Seaward Park for Mother's Day yep, and
put my feet in the water. Off fantastic a. They
stink like sewage. I didn't connect the two this whole time.
Mother's Day was a couple of days ago. Already, you
know I should have figured it out. Chinese leader Jijingping
cautioned our visiting president that Washington's handling of its relations

(01:45):
with Taiwan could lead to conflicts. His tone a sharp
contrast to the President, who opened the highly anticipated summit
by praising his Chinese counterpart and saying, it's an honor
to be your friend. Around seventeen hundred passengers are being
on a cruise ship after reports of an illness. But
it's not linked to the hauntavirus. It's neurovirus. Yeah, that stinks. Separately,

(02:08):
the sole American cruise ship passenger who had tested positive
for hauntavirus and was being held in the bio Containment
Union at the University of Nebraska Medical Center has now
tested negative, so everything is okay. Jack Osborne says a
biopick about Ozzie and Sharon is coming in twenty twenty eight.
On TV Today, the streaming premiere of the animated sports

(02:28):
comedy Goat is on Netflix. In Sports a Lot to
get to, Mariners lost to the cheet Astros. They go
again today. Sounders beat San Jose, they play against Saturday
Storm lost to Toronto. They play against Sunday Rain Gotham tomorrow.
The Everet's Silver Tips are one victory away from claiming
the Cup as WHL champions for the first time in
franchise history. They have a chance to clinch in Game

(02:49):
five tomorrow night. In Prince Albert, Calves beat the Pistons.
They now lead three to two. NHL Colorado won the
series against the Wild.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
So we have one thousand dollars for you to win
every single hour today the first time I'm happening at about.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Six ten ish.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Of course, we also have the Disneyland trip our collab
with Fox thirteen. You have to multitask in the six
o'clock hour this morning Studio thirteen Live.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
No, that's an eleven.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Good Day Seattle.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Good Day Seattle, Thank you, Jody. You've got Good Day Seattle.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Between now and seven o'clock, they're going to give you
the very special Disney code. When you get that, then
you punch back over to here at seven o'clock and
we'll tell you to call in and you can win
an all expense pay trip to digneal Land for you
and the family.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
It's a partnership. It's called watch, listen and win. So
you watch them, then you listen to us, then you
win a trip to Disneyland. Rick Springfield Plus, it's now time.
Hopefully you were watching Fox for the last hour. Let's
say now it's time. No, no, no, not, I'm gonna continue. No, no,
it's not Hopefully you've been watching Fox for the last

(03:53):
hour and you have the Disneyland secret phrase.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
It'll happen before eight o'clock. Oh don't what it'll happen
before eight o'clock.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Whow Okay, Breaking news by breaking news.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Now mostly cloudy with a shower in the late afternoon.
High's sixty three. Seattle area beaches closed because of dangerously
high bacteria levels. Don't swim at Madison Park Beach, Seaward
Park Beach, and Jane cool On Memorial Beach Park currently
prohibited as it can make the public sick. Sick, and
I was up to my ankles at Seaward Park the

(04:32):
other day, so that's great. Seattle Sounders and Seattle Rain
announced the creation of a floating soccer festival right here
at Waterfront Park, right by the radio station, to welcome
FIFA World Cup. The barge itself is a ticketed rental space,
but events at Peer sixty two will be free and
open to the public. They're going to be doing live
match viewings, youth soccer stuff, cultural entertainment. It's going to

(04:55):
be happening.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
There in the waterfront. So many people here.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yes, there are Washington suing Providence Health and Services for
allegedly denying legally required accommodations to pregnant and nursing staff.
The Supreme Court beginning to hand down opinions and key
cases for the term that we'll have far reaching implications
for Americans. Most of the biggest decisions are typically released
May and June before the justices break for the summer. Shakira,

(05:20):
Madonna and K pop superstars BTS will headline the first
ever World Cup Final halftime show. Yes, I'm not talking
about the Super Bowl halftime show. I'm talking about the
World Cup Final, which is set for July nineteenth at
MetLife Stadium. Millions of millions of people will be watching,
so that's a pretty big deal. Shakira, Madonna and BTS.

(05:40):
Netflix held its upfronts yesterday. The big news was probably
the announcements of Grown Ups three. Adam Sandler will be back.
No word on any other casting or plot details there.
The Foo Fighters did their first ever NPR Tiny Desk concert.
It's great. It's on our Facebook page if you want
to watch. You know Sea the pop star, Yes, apparently Sia,

(06:01):
who I'm a huge fan of, loves the TV show Survivor,
And this is important to know because they're doing a
contest the Survivor fifty, which is on right now, Survivor
season fifty. They're doing contest where Sia is going to
give one hundred thousand dollars to the Survivor fifty contestant

(06:22):
who wins a fan favorite vote. And if you're wondering
what the connection is like, why would Sea give one
hundred thousand dollars of her own money, yeah, to some
contestant on Survivor. Apparently Sia has given millions of dollars
of her own money to Survivor contestants over the last
couple of years, people that she likes. I know this

(06:45):
is crazy, and I did a deep dive on this
this morning because I was like what and why. Apparently
if Sia likes the way you play the game, or
like thinks that you're a good person, she gives you
money fifty one hundred thousand dollars, fifteen thousand dollars, all
sorts of different amounts. So what if she likes you?
And I guess now Survivor fans know this about Sia,

(07:07):
and so they're doing a fan favorite vote and then
Sea's gonna give one hundred thousand dollars to that contested.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
So now it's being promoted, yeah, or before it was
just her secretly doing it, like she would call them
up on zoom and be like, hey, it's me Sia.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
I want to give you seventy five grand because I
think that you did great. It's so weird, but I
love it. In sports, Mariners lost the chet Astros. They
go again today, Sounders beat San Jose. They play against
Saturday Storm lost to Toronto. They play against Sunday Rain
Gotham tomorrow. Everett's Silver Tips one victory away from claiming
the Cup as the WHL champions for the first time
in history. Cavs beat the Pistons. They lead now three

(07:41):
to two, and Colorado won the series against the.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Wid Your chance to win one thousand dollars happens in
three minutes and then and then she's back. Of course,
you're still waiting for us to tell you to call
in and give us the Disneyland secret code phrase that
you got the this morning on Good Day Seattle on
Fox thirteen.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Don't call in now, don't call in now, all are freaks.
Don't call in now. A minute we say the word code,
everyone starts calling in.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
It'll happen before eight o'clock, but not.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Right now, because because we're doing something else right now.
The biggest mystery on this program you're keeping a secret
from being I don't know what you're talking about. What's
the biggest mystery on this program because a bunch of
textures already figured it out.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
What's the don't look what's the basic.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
I was just about to look what's what's the big
the biggest mystery on this program? How you and I are,
how we coexist now, how we're such great friends? How
we do any of the stuff now has nothing to
do with you, nothing to do with me? Well we
actually I'm not sure. Oh wait is it the woman

(08:55):
who called in and said that we blinded her.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
In her eye?

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Nks for blinding my love, you pieces of.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
We have no idea where this lady come from. All
we know is we came back from a holiday in December.
In December, well we came back in January, and this
was on the talkback.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Thanks for blinding my left eye, you pieces of.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
And we were like, what is this person talking?

Speaker 4 (09:16):
You have no idea, have no idea the idea And
because when you send us a talkback, we have your
phone number, we have your email, we have your name.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I sent her a note and I said, are you okay? Yeah?
I got no response.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
What did we do to your eye?

Speaker 2 (09:34):
She's back?

Speaker 6 (09:35):
Oh my god, No dogs need looks to hear.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
Right, that's a reference anymore now, Ugly Marc, she doesn't
get to here anymore.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
You what what.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Wait? What?

Speaker 7 (09:56):
No dogs need looks to hear? Recorded anymore. Now, Ugly
Marcie doesn't get to here anymore.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You, Okay, I got the f us the dog. Somebody
looks to sell records, something to do. Ugly Marci doesn't
get anything anymore.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, I figured out her name is Marcie.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
She's Marcy. She's Marcie. Are you sure I'm positive? Because
according to the talkback, that's her name.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Her name is Marcy.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Marcie us for blinding my left eye, you pieces of.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
So the mystery now continues because she hit us back
with a new message.

Speaker 7 (10:36):
No dogs, it looks to hear right record anymore. Now,
Ugly Marcie doesn't get to hear anymore.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
You.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
She's the freaking riddler. Wait, oh my god, I'm gonna
pass out. Wait, I have so, I got nothing. I
have absolutely no idea who this woman is. And she
checks in once every three or four months.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
She's given us a code and we need to figure
it out.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
And I'm mad because you know that I keep everything,
and I have my file system over here where I
can typically find anything. I swear she left us another
message and I can't find it. I kept it, well,
I know, but I don't remember if I labeled it
wrong or what? But I swear there's another message from Marsie.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Dogs need looks. Okay, I'll play it one more time.

Speaker 7 (11:28):
No dogs it looks to hear, right, I just don't
sell records anymore.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
Now, Ugly Marsie doesn't get to hear anymore.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
You text, Ugly Marcie doesn't get to hear anymore. Text,
This lady is so mysterious.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Dogs need looks to hear. So ugly Marsie can't sell
records anymore? What is the code?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
I feel like I'm in goonies right now.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Just know that the next time you and I do
some sort of dead I'm the envelope or the mystery
sound or anything like that, I'm gonna somehow get Marcy
to write all the clues.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Oh, I'm sure she'd be very willing to text.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
The dogs need looks to hear, but they don't sell
records anymore. Text not selling records anymore? What does that mean?

Speaker 6 (12:18):
Text?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
What does that mean?

Speaker 7 (12:22):
No dogs need looks to hear rights records anymore?

Speaker 6 (12:28):
Now Ugly Mary doesn't get to here anymore.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
I mean, we're all clear on her ending it with
f you this kind of marvelous mystery only happens on
the number five morning.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Show in the country. Thank you, thank you very much
for that.

Speaker 7 (12:44):
No dogs need looks to hear right. All records anymore. Now,
Ugly Mary doesn't get to here anymore.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
You no idea, absolutely no idea. That's the same lady
that left us this message.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
My left eye you pieces of Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
We also got a text asking if it was the
lady asking for decent music.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
No, no, that was don Marie play some decent music.
This is don Marie Greek.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
They might be in the same book club, but there
are two different people, and me and the rest of
the goonies on text are all talking about how she
sounds exactly like Anne Ramsey.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
We got a text from our boss that said, put
it in the co pilot.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
And see if it can figure it out. We don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
We don't know copy and paste to put it in
co pilots. See what it said is text. Someone must
know Marcy's voice. You have listeners all over. We just
need one of her friends to rat her out.

Speaker 6 (13:41):
No dogs, it looks to hear right.

Speaker 7 (13:45):
You don't sell reference anymore now, Ugly Marshy doesn't get.

Speaker 6 (13:48):
To here anymore.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
You, Oh my god, Now I'm picturing her as Anne Ramsey,
who played Mama for Telly from the Goonies. The only
thing we serve here is tongue. You boys like tongue her.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
That's her, that's her, her Huget Sound Showdowns.

Speaker 2 (14:05):

Speaker 3 (14:09):
That ain't bad, That ain't bad.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Let's play Puget Sound Showdown. Let's bringing the champion. Marci
is in Kirkland. Hi, Marcy, Good morning Marcy.

Speaker 2 (14:21):

Speaker 7 (14:22):

a reference anymore?

Speaker 3 (14:30):

Speaker 6 (14:30):
Ugly Marcy doesn't get to here at all.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
You now, we're not talking about you when we when
we play that back.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Marcy in Kirkland, sitting on one win. She's defending the.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Title against Joline and Brennan. Hi, Joline, Hi, Good morning
morning Barnie.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
How's everybody on the coast of the hood? Canal you good?
We're great, We're good.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
So here's how this is gonna work. Jody has the
questions this morning. You guys are gonna buzz in with
your name when you know the answer, first person of
five wins, unless I'm mistaken. Marcy already has her tickets
for Brandy Carlisle So that means if Brennan can at
least get I'm sorry, if Joline can get on the

(15:16):
board at least with one point.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Right, you'll also get tickets.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
And if Jolene happens to win, that means tomorrow, when
I chant her name, it's gonna sound like the Dolly
Parton song. And I'm kind of excited. But I'm not
rooting against Marcy.

Speaker 2 (15:31):

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Everyone really forgets God, wouldn't that be exciting fun? Not
rooting against is the score? You need to be clear.
Marcy has one, Joline not on the board. Bender has two.
What's the main ore ingredient in tofu Jolene? That is correct?

(17:18):
Did she get it in time?

Speaker 2 (17:19):

Speaker 2 (18:51):
The most attractive woman we've ever seen in our life, and.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Jody and I both walked away like, damn, oh my god, wow,
that was the.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Most attractive woman you've ever seen your life. They called
us together like we were a couple. So we both
went up with our passports and showed it was cute.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Hey, we're both.

Speaker 3 (19:10):

Bender has three. Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of
which country during World War Two?

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Marcy Great Britain. If you get an eagle.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
In golf, how many strokes did you get?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Marcy for the win?

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Three?

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Well, no, no, that's not you're not answered. You didn't
ask the question properly. If you get an eagle in golf,
how many strokes did you know?

Speaker 4 (19:49):
It's if you get an eagle in golf, how many
shots under par?

Speaker 3 (19:53):
The answer is to striking.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
The question no, because two strokes would not be if
you if was a par five, an eagle would be
you shooting it in three.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
So you didn't ask the question you under par is
the answer I was looking for?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Is that not?

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Well, no, because it was because it would be well.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
I'm sorry, how did you phrase the question said, if
you get an eagle in golf, how many strokes did
you get?

Speaker 3 (20:16):
And the answer is.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
How many strokes under par? It's two shots under par?

Speaker 3 (20:19):
All right, we're striking it.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Obviously I saw were the answer was two, but it
was the way you framed.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
I was trying to do a golf question. Marcy has four,
Jelene has one, Bender has three. La bo m was
composed by who Bender. If you don't know this, I
will be so upset because we've been rocking these commercials

Ah, it's Puccini, It's freaking Pouccini. It's freaking Puccini.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Heyking, Puccini's La bom is coming to town?

Speaker 5 (20:58):

It's your call.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
She got in there, Marcy. What's the answer, Adam Lambert?

Speaker 3 (21:41):

Speaker 4 (21:43):

Remember when witnesses confronted him, he said he didn't care
and he was rich enough to pay any fines. I

been found dead on Washington's coast, this time near Whidby Island,
part of an ongoing spike in strandings, with April setting

(24:09):
a horrible record for the State Washington ensuing Providence Health
and Services for denying legally required accommodations to pregnant and
nursing staff, such as lifting limits and private pumping spaces.

know what your experience has been so far, but you
won't be able to smell anything. It smells like, Hey,
it smells like bread milk. A year, Shakira, Madonna and
BTS will headline the first ever World Cup Final halftime show.

(24:55):
It'll be July nineteenth at MetLife Stadium and millions of
viewers worldwide we'll watch that. The drug counselor tied to

to the Friends star ketemine overdose in twenty twenty three,

(25:16):
Natella has done what people have been begging it to
do for years, introducing its first ever ice cream line
with a fourteen ounce tub in single serve wafer cones
with the brands Hazelnut Cocoa flavor.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Do you like Natella? No? No, shool Yeah, I'm not
a hazel nut guy. No okay?

Speaker 3 (25:35):
On TV, the streaming premiere of Goat on Netflix, which
people enjoyed in the theater is quite a bit and
Sports Mariners lost to the Cheat and Astros. They go
again today. Sounders beat San Jose, they play against Saturday Storm,
lost to Toronto. They play against Sunday Rain Gotham Tomorrow,
Silver Tips, one victory away from claiming the Cup. As
they was, this, Kim, It's Kim, Kim.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Jody is Kim. We've been expecting your phone call.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
We have this pair of tickets to Rick Springfield, but
muckleshoot just burning a hole in our pockets.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
I have it, sure, Yeah you could have a congratulations.
You know why you can have it?

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Thank you?

Speaker 5 (26:09):
Because Colin never died.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
You bet him. I had a girl. Way to be.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Who do you love?

Speaker 6 (26:15):
Who do you love?

Speaker 8 (26:21):
I love you? Jody?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
So awkward? Why Jody, why do you make me ask
the question?

Speaker 3 (26:29):
I have told you not to ask those questions, and
you continue to.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
We'll do it again tomorrow. Seriously.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
You can play it off all you want, but Jody
wants that question asked every time we get the car.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Every time you do it, people get so awkward. They're
just like I guess the Jet I guess, or like
they never want to do it. You're such a top
forty DJ forever for the rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Who do you lot?

Speaker 5 (26:58):
You bet.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Waka waka? But nobody here is gonna play that game.
No JET listeners want to play that game with you.
It makes me laugh every time you laugh. Make Springfield.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Walka wako. Yeah, I love it. It's my favorite thing.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
I have been given new advice for the farm. Oh yeah,
you got your fencing in and everything.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
We got the fencing in economy.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
Fence was there two days ago, and now the rails
were put in because you put the post in and
you put the rails in, and then that I'm just heard.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
About the post on Pike rails that you've been talking about.
And now I'm just waiting for the gate, the door,
the gate. I got to bring you a gate.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
But uh so.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
We're going with goats, gonna go with a couple of donkeys,
maybe the Highland cows, and and of course the giraffe
is moving in and then the pygmy hippop.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Okay, both of those last two things are lives. You
keep fluctuating back and forth between one donkey and two dunkeys.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Well, I was told last night because the big bosses
are in town, and one of our big bosses also
has a farm, so I'm then picking his brain for Hey,
I got to make sure I'm doing this right.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
He said, you cannot have just one donkey because they
need friends.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
They well it's apparently it's yes, they need a friend,
but if they're if they're by themselves, they like lose
their mind. And I said, but he wouldn't be by
himself because he'd have the goats to look after me.
He's like, no, that that that doesn't that doesn't count.
I said, okay, so that's one aspect. The other aspect is,
I said, Jody says I should get ducks. I was

(28:47):
expecting a bit of laughter, to which he responded.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Oh, yeah, yeah, you get some ducks.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Just keep in mind you can need a lot of
water because it because you need like a pool. Yeah,
because they love to splash around and they're very messy.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Yeah, they make a mess.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
Then the duck conversation got one upped when a peacock
came into the conversation because I guess where he lives,
Like a peacock comes rolling out of the property every
now and then, and I guess they too will take

(29:31):
care of snakes and varmitt and whatever.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
I have a note for you regarding peacocks. Is this
gonna be the same thing with the giraffe?

Speaker 5 (29:41):
No?

Speaker 4 (29:41):
No, no, okay, because you won't let me get a
giraffe because it's exotic, right, And then I heard about
the peacock thing, and I'm like, well, apparently I would
think that's exotic too.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
No, peacocks, you can have. Peacocks are gorgeous and amazing creatures. Yes,
how you heard them scream?

Speaker 4 (29:54):
I have heard their loud. I have heard the peacocks
are loud, shockingly loud. And but I've also been told
that you can make some extra cash because when the
peacocks molt, you can take their feathers and sell them.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
And I'm like, oh my, So basically.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
I love peacocks. They're so cool. However, for somebody who
needs his sleep. Just no, I don't know if they're nocturnal,
but when I'm telling you, they scre I can't do
it on the air because I don't want to upset everybody,
but I'll do an impression once we're off.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Oh no, do the impression now, everybody. Everybody, brace yourself.
Nobody get mad that Jody's gonna do her peacock impression.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Ready, Yeah, I'm serious. We used to go. I used
to take Josh when he was Mackenzie's age to Fox
Fox Farm, Fox something Farm in Issaqua. I don't think
they're in operation anymore, but they had peacocks that used
to run around there and they had this one gorgeous
I'll buy no one. And you could sometimes find their

(30:58):
feathers on the and I would take the peacock feathers home.
I'm like obsessed with peacocks, but they are scary and they, yes,
they scream. Well yeah, okay, just heads up, that's an
exact and Tony will tell you that that's right on.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Does he have a peacock like he said, I don't
think he owns the peacock. Yeah, I believe it meanders
onto his property, and.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
I'm not sure if they're safe from cougar's I don't know.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Yeah, cougar's by you.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
I know. I've got coyotes, cootes, I'm not, but we
only hear them. Yeah, we don't see them. I've never
seen a coyote anywhere near the property.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
That's because that's how they want it.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
So it ninety five seven the Jet Jody and I
are going to be on TV at eleven o'clock Fox
thirteen's Studio thirteen Live. One of the topics of discussion
will be Nick Cannon's new reality show where he's going
to show you how he coexists with all of his
forty seven kids and his thirty seven different baby mamas growth.

(32:06):
And I believe that's gonna be the commentary.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Yeah, I'm so judgy about it. It's probably not cool,
but I don't really care.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
So eleven o'clock Fox thirteen, Studio thirteen Live. A ton
of tax messages about the possible addition to my farm. Yes,
goats are coming, A couple of donkeys are coming, perhaps
some highland cows, which somebody texted in saying be careful

(32:34):
with the Highland cows. They like to push on the
fence and find ways to find out. This particular breed
is considered smart. I know this because my neighbor's cow
constantly gets out and they stand off my patio waiting.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
For the dogs to come out in place.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Oh my god, so cute. The Hiland cows are the
ones that are fuzzy. They're the fluffy cows the long hair. Yeah,
they're the fluffy cows.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Also, the reaction to our big big boss's suggestion of
a peacock ye on the property. Yeah, he's got one
on his farm. And the suggestion was made because Jody
suggested ducks, and he said, well, ducks are They're dirty

(33:21):
and messy and a lot of water you have to
worry about.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Were peacocks just kind of roam?

Speaker 3 (33:26):
But ducks will lay eggs and also eat up all
the little bus and that what peacocks do? Lay eggs?

Speaker 2 (33:33):
No, I thought, don't they eat up all the stuff?

Speaker 3 (33:36):
They eat stuff? Yeah, oh, I can just see you
guys eating peacock eggs and like doing all sorts of
like endangered spezies stuff.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
And you're like, what, I didn't know, Am I not
supposed to do?

Speaker 4 (33:47):
This tax to five two, three on nine. Get the peacocks,
Get rid of the sea pap You're not going to
sleep anyway. Wow, that is Jody's peacock impression.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Yeah, oh, look at this.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Peacock eggs are a delicacy with a rich, gamey taste.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
Text bend or in the state of Washington. You don't
need a license to have a wallaby.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Please don't, wow, Please don't. So what it appears is
that we're going to populate my farm in Snohomish with
listener suggestions.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Yeah. Again, just because you don't need a license to
do it doesn't mean a wallaby belongs in your back,
but a peacock.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Dude. It sound showdown.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Coming up, we got your daily bender because that coming
up we got damn haven't heard that in a while.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Coming up.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
Your one thousand dollars payday keyword is seven minutes away.

click on the one thousand dollars pay day keyword thing

Then you can enter the word you're gonna send or

Speaker 3 (35:01):
And we want that to happen.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
We want that to happen to you.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Yeah, because you guys win, it makes us look good.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
It does make us look and they keep score.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Yep, so really try harder, try harder to make us
look good. Win the money.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
They do, they keep score.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Yeah, so when the radio station gets a winner, it's like, yeah,
what for the g how about that?

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Messages off the talk.

Speaker 9 (35:25):
Back, Hey, thank you for making me laugh every morning.
After nearly thirty years of a five minute commute, I
am now at a forty five minute commute and I
am enjoying every single minute listening to you. Thank you again.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
You're very welcome.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
It's nice.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
She didn't say Jody and Bender.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
She must be talking to us.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
I would be talking us.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
We're the only ones here.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
I mean she left it for us on the talkback.
But yeah, I mean like any morning show could use that. No,
accept it, it's for us, sure, yep, thank you. Yeah,
I'm going to look at gift to us in the mouth.
But if you're going to leave us praise, use our
name so we can put it in promos, right, because
they'll just sound like, you know, people are just lifting

(36:08):
random market to make promos.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Yeah, this is my favorite show. The show i'm listening to,
you know your show.

Speaker 10 (36:15):
Hey, Jody and bender peacocks don't sound that bad. We
actually have one in our neighborhood. You sound more scarier
than the one we have, and they are gorgeous birds.
And the one we have out here, I mean it'll
let you walk right up to it almost, and it's
very friendly. I mean i'd walk my dog by it
and they just kind of look at us. So anyway,

(36:36):
thanks a lot.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
It's really friendly.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Let us walk right up to it almost, and I
can walk my dog past it without it attacking it.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
A peacock is now on the list of us one
of the animals that I may get at the Bender farm.
They are gorgeous. Well, they're crazy, right, look, but they
have a purpose. Yeah, I guess they also protect Yeah,
well they protect the goats.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yeah, they're protectors. But apparently they also poop real big
and the Yeah, okay, so you're gonna have to clean
up a lot of peacock poop.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Please don't get a peacock.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
Our neighbor had peacocks.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
They would come on our property.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
They poop the size of the cats. Yep, and they
make huge mess, and they scream all night long in
the tree right next to your window.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
They're so loud and annoying. Hold on, I'm gonna stop
you right there.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
They poop the size of cats, or they poop the
size of cat poop.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
They poop the size of cat poop, not the size
of a cat.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Oh, well, that's not that big of a deal. So
like they're like, I don't know why I wore a
reference point.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
The size of a small sausage.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Do birds not poop?

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Well, you've seen duck poop and goose poop that's smaller. Yeah,
I mean you've seen chickens poop. I mean, everything that
you're getting for your house is gonna poop, So you
should start thinking about, oh, what's fluffy and cute versus
how much poop?

Speaker 4 (37:59):
I will, okay, what's fluffy and cute? We're looking at
a highland cow. I can't imagine that's going to be small.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
Right, I mean, you, the man of the house, the boss,
the patriarch of the house, the farmer. You are choosing
like a five year old because you're going, what's cute?
I'll take one of these fluffy cows, Give me six
of these goats.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
You're like Rodney Dangerfield from Back to School.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
Give me twoities, give me three of these. But you
have to start thinking about stuff like how much poop
am I willing to commit to pick up?

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Okay, good morning and Jody Medder. Jody's pretty close, but
it's more like, right, thank you?

Speaker 3 (38:40):
Right, no, no, he's right right, it's two. It goes
yeah like that.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Good morning and Jody Medder. Jody's pretty close, but it's
more like you, he says, thank you.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
It's my favorite.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
All before Jody and I head off to do TV. Well,
we don't head off to do TV.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
They do it from here, like they do their thing,
and then they turn on a button and here we are,
live in our studio to help them kill time on
their show.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Right, So the good news it doesn't matter what pants
or shoes I'm wearing, because you don't see that. I
just have to look decent on top. I might not
even be wearing pants. You would never know, which is cool.
It's like you could turn up on TV and like
I could have crazy bottoms on, no bottoms at all,
I could have soiled myself. Nobody would know.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
That's not true. Well I thought not true. Earlier this morning.
Uh huh. We had technical issues.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
Yeah, and one of our engineers came in, Yeah, and
needed to work underneath the board on your side and
asked you if you could please move yep.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
So you can't say that nobody would not That's true.
He would have known.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
That's the computer that's right between my legs and blows
hot air. And I don't have to pay extra.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Standing the globe to find the noose.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
You didn't know you needed to.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Know that Daily Bender Gazette. Now here's Bender to you.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
My Olympic hotel. Better You, Better Life.

Speaker 4 (40:22):
A company in Georgia Japan Close It is a Japanese
manufacturer that has seen overwhelming demand for its monster Wolf
robots following record bear encounters that has caused numerous deaths

(40:46):
and injuries.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
Over the last two years.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
The company has received approximately fifty orders this year. The
company says, we make them by hand, we can't make
them fast enough, so now we're asking customer to wait
two to three months. It was originally targeted for farmers,
and clients now include construction sites, golf courses. Each four

(41:14):
thousand dollars wolf shaped robot has glowing red ledis artificial fur,
solar panels, sensors, and speakers producing over fifty sounds audible
beyond a half a mile. Oh cool, So I could
drop four grand and not have to now worry about

(41:35):
a watch dog or donkeys or anything. Yeah, I could
protect the goats with a four thousand dollars wolf robot.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
Yeah, but it'll take two to three months, and you
might have animals before that. Isn't there something similar at
home depot for Halloween?

Speaker 8 (41:51):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (41:51):
I didn't even think about that, like one of those
like ah, like one of those witches.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
I didn't even think about it.

Speaker 3 (41:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
But the only way that would work is if the
predator stepped on the thing. That's the only way that
would work. Where it says step here, I don't know
if the predators are smart enough to step there for
the thing to.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
Go, I mean stupid enough, because the smart thing to
do would be not to step on it. I mean
that's how the roadrunner got wiley coyote all the time, right,
step here, and then he stepped on it exactly. It's
a thought. That's the whole point of scarecrows, right, scarecrows. Yeah,

(42:40):
but scarecrows are to scare crows. They're not going to
scare coyote. But this is the same idea. So you
could put an Alexa out there. You can get yourself
one of the home depot things, get an Alexa and
then get one of those you know outside used car dealers.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
Oh, the inflatable thing.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Yes, while you're waiting for your wolf for a bout.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
But we also have to worry about scaring the actual goats.

Speaker 3 (43:11):
The poor things will be traumatized, won't want to come
out of the barn.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
A four thousand dollars wolf shaped robot. Yeah, maybe they
want to do an endorsement deal with us. Oh, we
could do that yet, but they don't need.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
It, right, they don't need it because clearly they're selling
more than they can possibly deliver.

Speaker 3 (43:27):
Yeah, but that's only in Japan. This would be a
hot new market, that's true. And if you're gonna hit
the hot US market, you want us to do it.
Heay the Adalet's Jody and Bender from ninety five to
zeven the Jet Have you ever thought, damn, I wish
I had a robot wolf in my yard.
