thunderstorming throughout the entire day. Anotherboat has hit yet another bridge. A
barge collided with the Pelican Island Causewayin Galveston, Texas yesterday, damaging the
bridge, causing an oil spill andclosing the only road in and out of
Pelican Island. The island is thehome to Texas A and M University at

Galveston, so aside from just thepeople that live there and vacation there,
you also have a massive university thereas well. The bridge will rain closed
until it's determined if it's safe tobe used, and a salvage company will
assist in removing the barge from thearea. Meanwhile, in the cleanup of
our collapse bridge, the removal ofthe Dolly's ship was postponed yesterday until early
next week. For now, theDolly remains grounded in the Fort McHenry Channel
of the Patapsco River. On Monday, a controlled demolition removed a section of

the fallen bridge that was laying atopthe ship. Cranes are now in the
process of recovering submerged and unstable wreckageleft over from the demolition. Crews are
also awaiting the results of a divesurvey before the vessel can be refloated and
escorted back to the port. Partof that is ensuring damage. Containers still
aboard the Dolly are properly secured orremoved so that you know, when they
do start moving the ship, thingsaren't falling all over the place. Once

the Dolly is moved, the permanentchannel will be allowed to reopen. So
they are still on pace to getthat open here before the end of the
month, which is what their goalwas, but they're just postponing it by

percent of overdose desks last year.I mean, good to see it,

coming soon. We talked to hera little bit earlier. How Tim McGraw

going to play a fictional golf legendin the show called Golf, and Adam

Sandler's set to return in a HappyGilmore sequel. No details yet on what
that will be about, but I'mexcited. The football thing is really interesting
with Netflix too. I just wasreading about it. They're going to have
Christmas Day games for the next threeyears broadcasting on Netflix. They paid like
one hundred and fifty million dollars forthe rights for that, So that's fascinating,
especially because they're live events, Likeremember them. They did the live

has apparently moved out of his homewith Jennifer Lopez. An insider says the

seems like kind of an odd bird, Like I wouldn't be shocked if like
she's been through quite a few relationshipsand marriages and the public eye here,
Like I wonder if maybe she's theproblem, Like I don't know. Again,
I don't know her personally, butit seems like there's kind of an
oddness. Well, of course Iwatched her her show on Love on Him.

Oh my gosh, they were reallycringey. No, I know. In
the show, she sort of explainshow she didn't have love is a little
girl, and so she's been tryingto find it as an adult kind of
thing. So that kind of makessense. But you know, she calls
bet Affleck the great love of herlife right now. Yeah, and they

both said very good things about it. Times. I'm still sad about it.
Well, you know what, it'snot over till it's over, right,
and then even then it's maybe notover. Well for them, they've
come back around, maybe they'll youknow, who knows. And then I
wonder how many of these celebrity relationshipsare even you know, we talk about
them like their real life, butlike are they you know what I mean,

love it. I would say forme because my kids are no longer living
at our house. They're all adultson their own, and so I don't
get to hang out with of differentages very often who are younger. So

this week on Tuesday, we wentout to lunch, my husband and I
with one of our friend's oldest kidswho just finished his freshman year of college,
so we got to spend some timewith him. And then yesterday I
have a good friend who has threelittle girls and two of them are still
home for half the day. SoI was over there yesterday afternoon and we

kind of catch up while her daughtersare taking a nap, and then they
got up early, so I gotto hang out with her four year old
and her two year old and Igot to read books to them. They
were doing their ballerina kind of dancefor me. They were you know how
little kids love, like see me, see me. Oh, I know
all about that. You've got oneof them, So that was just it
was just sweet. So those werejust simple pleasures. What about you,

bethany wodshirts today? I have two. One. I had found some pants
that I thrifted recently, and Iforgot how much I liked them, so
that they're making me really happy.And yeah, they were really four bucks.
Like what it is like a surprisewhen you forgot about that. It's
like, oh yeah, it's likenew clothes. Yeah, shopped in your

own closet. Okay, and thenyesterday I was having like an anxious moment
and like at the house, justlike freaking out, and my daughter,
who's seventeen, was like, Mom, it's okay, you don't have to
worry. Like everything's gonna be okay. I was like, Oh, why
are you so sweet? Right?I needed that thank you? Yeah.
Plus, like, teenagers don't oftensay nice things to you, so when

little bit. She gave me ahug and everything was okay, and I
was like, oh, you areprecious. See now you feel better,
all right, sat Peer's simple pleasure. I'm gonna have a hard time describing
this, but I will do mybest. So on Tuesday, I had
the day off. My wife hadthe day off from school because of election
Day, so I took the dayoff as well so we can kind of

hang out a little bit. Andwe went to go have like a coffee
date in the morning, and we'rewaiting in line to order our coffee and
our breakfast, and there was awoman in front of us that was ordering.
Apparently she's also a radio personality.She does like an afternoon show.
Her name is doctor k there's ashow on WEAA, which is not a
station that I'm super familiar with.But the guy that was bringing her out,
the person taking her order, recognizedher voice and just launched into how

much he loves her, and likegoing went into all of these different like
examples of like he called your showon this day and I waited on hold,
and that's fine that I didn't getthrough. I really enjoyed your conversation,
but like went on and on aboutall that, and you could just
tell how pleased she was to getthe someone cares. Yeah, of course,
like a that someone cares. ButI also feel like in radio in
particular, because nobody really ever seesus, like you just hear us talking

all the time, that it's likea different type of relationship that we have
with people. Like I think thereare folks that we've been talking to every
I mean, Laura, you've beenhere for thirty eight years, and like
you've been talking to some people thathave been listening that entire time, like
that you're like a part of theirdaily life, a part of their routine.
And I think this it was justkind of funny to watch this,

you know, unfold in front ofus for this woman to realize like how
much of an impact she has onpeople as well. I mean I was
a little spointed to recognize me,but whatever, that's fine. We moved
on from that pretty quick. Butit was just such a special thing to
see that relationship like happening right infront of your eyes. You know.
I thought that was really cool towitness. How weird to be recognized by
just your voice, Like that's itis tough. It's like because when she

name do you want the order under? And she said, okay, I
guess and he was like, Ithought, I recognize your voice. Are

It was very nice, like shehad this huge mileage, like I
want to take a picture with you, like all these different things. So
it was really a cool moment tokind of witness. Yeah, I've had
