a little warm, but still reallynice. Yeah, Todays should give
us more of the same. We'llsee low humidity and sunny skies with a
high right around eighty six degrees.The humidity comes back in tomorrow, though,
We'll be looking at a muggy andhot weekend. Mostly cloudy Saturday with
some peaks of sunshine and a highnear ninety one. There's also a chance
of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday willlook pretty similar, but it'll be a
few degrees warmer, with a higheron ninety five. Monday that we do

get back at the nice weather withdry and sunny conditions in a high around
eighty four. So we just gottaget through this weekend and then we'll have
some nice weather again for a coupleof days. Walgreens announced that it's closing
stores, and it's closing a lotof them, over twenty one hundred stores.
To be exactly what they're looking at, the company's CEO says that quote,
the current pharmacy model is not sustainable. Apparently twenty five percent of all

locations are looking at closure. Idon't believe they've announced exactly which locations are
closing yet, but twenty one hundredstores, that's a lot throughout the country.
So I would imagine there's going tobe some here in Maryland that we're
going to be losing at some pointhere in the near future. And there
was a debate last night, andlook, I know it should be a
serious deal that the presidential candidates aredebating, but it's just not really the
world that we live in today.So if you did watch a debate last

night, then you already have yourfeelings about it. Quite frankly, even
if you didn't watch it, thenyou probably already have strong feelings about it.
Either way. If this is somethingthat interests you and you want to
find out more, I said,pretty much believe you're going to do the
due diligence and look it up foryourself. So we don't need to cover
all the stuff that went out lastnight on the debate, but I just
want to make sure we at leastmentioned it this morning. And that's your

saying, guys, brace yourself becauseexperts are saying that rom coms are back,
and I am here for it.I'm excited. Everything cyclical right in
the nineties was a big moment forrom comms, and they're saying that twenty
twenty four could also be a bigmoment. I think people are noticing they're
finding new life on streaming. Likethere's so many cheesy rom coms on Netflix

that just do like super well forNetflix, that people stream the crap out
of things like The Kissing Booth,except like they love them, So I
think that I think they're right,Like there is an audience for that.
It's usually on streaming. We needsome lighthearted comedy with some kissing. That's
all we need. It's the kindof stuff that would have been straight to
DVD releases like ten years ago.But now they find a hole, then

I'm sure Taylor Swift doesn't even knowabout it. I'm sure she says no

Brownie James got drafted to the LALakers and he's to play with his
dad, and I kind of lovethis. It's so cute. Even though
I don't think that he's really NBAquality at this point, I do think
it's cool that there will be anopportunity for a father and son to play

basketball together on the court. LikeI dig that. In other news,
experts are saying that nepotism is back. Okay, it never went away.
I'm just kidding, okay. Andthen lastly, how about speaking of AI,
there's a hospital in Texas that's usingholographic doctors, and actually, based
on my last couple of appointments,I think I'd rather be okay with it.

have been indicted over the response thetwenty twenty two deadly schools shooting. There.
Reports are the former Yuvalde school policechief and a former school police officer

faced several felony charges of abandoning andendangering a child. The shooting at rob
Elementary School left nineteen children and twoteachers dead, and officials have long been
criticized for the slowness of the responsefrom authorities during this situation. We're learning
more about the proposed Red Line publictransit here in Baltimore. Governor Wes Moore
is planning a press conference about itscheduled for today, but we now know
the red Line will feature light railcars, not rapid buses. Moore says

that they listen to communities, stakeholdersand leaders across the state and it was
clear that this is what they wanted. The red Line had been approved before,
but it was axed by Governor Hogan. It was later revived by Governor
Moore. The transit line will runeast west across Baltimore, while the current
light rail system runs north south.And I touched on this story a little
while ago, but the NFL wasbeing sued for its deals with DirecTV and
that whole Sun Ticket package, whileLos Angeles Jerry found that the league did

in fact violate federal antitrust laws byinflating the price of NFL Sunday ticket and
preventing fans from buying single team packages. The league reportedly must pay nearly five
billion dollars to fans who subscribe toSunday Ticket and ninety six million to bars
that were overcharged for the package aswell. Now these amounts could be tripled
under the law, so there couldbe even more money involved here. The
NFL, of course plans to appeal, but that is a big chunk of

change. Five billion dollars. That'sa lot of money. Even if you
are the NFL, that still alot of cash. So yeah, interesting

story short is Joey King plays theassistant to zac Efron, who's a big
Hollywood actor, but he ends upfalling for her mom by Nicole Kidman,

and then you know, wildness ensues. But older women are having a moment
in Hollywood. Dane Hathaway movie,you got that there was something else too
where, like there was fun olderwoman and a younger man. Yes,
that's probably. And this one looksto be kind of like a rom com.
It's supposed to just be a littlebit of fun. It's getting fifty
three percent on Rotten Tomatoes, whichis pretty much exactly what I would expect
it to get given the content ofthe film. But if you're looking for

someone to stream that could be kindof fun. That might be for you.
All right, Are there other thingshappening locally if you don't want to
go to a movie or stream amovie that you could go do? Sure,
concerts, some concerts get outside.Yeah, Hearty's in town tonight.

I also am in this rewatching oldshows kick and I am rewatching Big Love,

which is, oh yeah, apolygamist drama. Yeah yeah. So
now I'm out in the public likelooking at people and oh yeah, they're
definitely plaguing. Oh yeah, she'sout spying now, Oh yeah. Definitely.
Many wives, many, many wives. I've been watching a couple of
documentaries. I just started one.You'll love this Saint Pierre. There is
a documentary of Nickelback Oh Go andtheir story. It's funny. I saw

I know how much you like RyanReynolds. I did think of you.
He actually, in the beginning ofthe documentary comes on and says how fantastic
they are, because you know,he's from Canada. There from Canada.
But it is an interesting story.I haven't watched the whole thing. I'm
only like twenty five minutes in maybe, but I'm going to go back and
finish that up. The one Ireally want to talk about is the Celine
Dion documentary. Okay, that isreally what I have to give her props

for is that she really lets peopleinto her world. Yea. I mean
you're seeing her while she's having aseizure. You're seeing it's kind of on.
It talks a lot about her careerand starting out and her family when
she was a kid, and youget all the background. But obviously she
now has this stiff person syndrome,and you know it's such a rare thing.

A lot of us didn't really knowwhat does that mean? What do
you go through? Kind of thing? Well, you see that, and
I'll tell you she is driven.That woman is the strength she has to
try to get better, so thatshe really her goal is to get back
out performing again, because there's nothingthat brings her greater joy. She's always
been very musical. From times shewas a kid, she was singing for

her family and that's what brings herjoy is singing. And so to watch
what she goes through. Also,you'll be amazed at how organized she is.
I just want to say, inher house, every time she opens
up something like a drawer, there'smaybe one hundred and fifty sharpies, but
they're all in their special place.Or her sock drawer there's probably one hundred

pairs of socks. She has bigdrawers and they're all rolled up perfectly in
line. I'm like, that woman'sorganized. Wow. But it's it is
interesting and it takes you into herworld a little bit to see what she's
going through. And I'm just,you know, good for her that she
was willing to let people see someof the rough stuff she's in the middle

of. I think only I thinkI read one hundred and thirty three people
in the US have that. Yeah. Oh wow, Yeah, that's that's
rare. How rare it is.Yeah, and it's amazing that there are
people that know enough about it thatthey can help her, Like you think
you'd have to research just to tryto She's got a lot of you know,
physical therapist and she has to havea doctor nearby and they give her

different meds to try to deal withstuff. And it's it is a wild
story, but it's definitely worth awatch. She's not given up. That
woman is not given up. Whatdo you watch in Saint Pee? Hard
to follow that. My wife hasput bridges In on the back burner for
a few minutes. So now we'recurrently rewatching Gilmore Girls for the ninetieth time.

So that's happening. I can't evenwatch that show anymore. As much
as I used to watch it.I hate it so much. Yeah,
it drives me. So I rememberwatching it when it was like out and
thinking like, oh, this issuch a sweet, wholesome show, and
I watch them like these people areawful human beings. There's not a single
one of them with any redemptive qualitiesexcept for Kirk because he tries. He
tries so hard. Anyway, Butwe also started watching The Bear. We're

a couple episodes into the new seasonthere. I've watched a couple. Yeah,
I mentioned yesterday that we're watching TheChallenge on Paramount plus the season thirty
nine of that. Oh I didfinally, I finally broke down. I
started watching Roadhouse, the New Roadhouse. It's it's just as bad as it's

living up to it, isn't JakeJill Holland that, Yeah, yeah,
even the I mean I haven't finishedit yet, but even like the fight
scenes I've seen so far looks soai generated, Like it doesn't even look
like I know, they're obviously notpunching each other in the face, Like
I get that it's not no fightscenes and movies are real, but like
you can even see like blurriness whereit looks like they edited it to make
it look I don't know, it'sjust it's none of it is good.

Like it's just bad. Jake Jillenhallis in that new show Presumed Innocent.
I watched the first episode of that, so not enough to like really say
anything about it yet, but Idid watch the first I watched a couple
there's I think there's three or fourout. I don't know, and I'm
still I'm not sure. I'm stillnot sure how i feel about it,
but anyway, I'm sticking with it. It seems interesting. A couple texts,

Joe I thought it was Joe Pickett. I don't know anyway, he

somebody else said Milf Manner is sofunny. I haven't. I don't know
what that is either. Oh,there's so much TV, too much,
But you know what, I havebeen searching a lot around for stuff because
you know, if anybody ever watchesNetwork, which a lot of people don't,
there's nothing on there, So you'remore people are searching I think around

right now of all ages, justto find something that's new. So yeah,
there's a lot of content. Thereis a lot. I didn't even
know there was a documentary about Nickelback. I just stumbled at it. No,
I'm always interested in people's stories.In the documentary, Do they know
that people hate them? You knowwhat? Somebody they're interviewing says they were

the first to start the whole cancelculture. They felt like nickel Back was
that was that that they were thefirst ones that people did that. I
think they're saying that because it makesthem sound cool. But it wasn't anybody
in the band them. No,No, it was like somebody who was
observing. I also have that.I don't know that band didn't say that,
But like, I also find ithard to say anybody was can so

when they're still selling twenty thousand ticketsa night, you weren't canceled. Cancel

I guess the whole thing is justyou know, it's it is kind of
interesting that people just had this hate, like there was love them and they
hate them. There was a lotout there, but it is kind of
