Bob Delmont talks to Co owner Alex Delsordo of Hard Yacht Cafe in Dundalk about the one year anniversary of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse and the Memorial happening on that day coming up.

a special guest. Right now, we just walked in the
co owner of my favorite place to go. It's hard
Yacht Cafe in Dundalk. His name is Alex Desordo. Sit
down right there. The anniversary is coming up March twenty six, right.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
The collapse of the key bridge actually marks the one
year anniversary of my wife and I, Mike and Mel
taking over hard Yacht Cafe. Oh wow, Yeah, So on
March twenty six at six pm, we're having a moment
of silence, but we're also commemorating this big event that
happened to us in Baltimore. And we have a piece
of the bridge that was given to us by the
Salvage company, and we are going to commemorate this event.

So we're putting it on a pylon. We have a
beautiful plaque that's going to go in place. It'll be
a chance for people in our community to just have
a memory of what happened at fled Day.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yeah. Yeah, six o'clock, it's happening, right. I can't believe
it's been a year either.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
It's hard to believe it's been a year, but this
event we want to show the resilience of Baltimore, the
resilience of our community. See the key bridge anymore. We
want that piece to be seen by everyone that comes
to hard Yacht Cafe. Yeah, because it impacted us in
a big way and continues to do so. We want
everyone to just have that memory.

So mark your calendar On Wednesday the twenty sixth, will
be there ninety three point one WPOC This weekend Saint
Patrick's Day. What do you guys got going on?

Then? Oh, Man, Jason and the staff there at hard
Yacht has something cooking really good. We have corn beef
hash and Saint Patrick's Day, egg rolls, the classics. Yeah,
so come on down. We got great drink specials.

Oh you know it always Saturday Sunday live music. But
we're also celebrating our one year anniversary as owner, so nice.
It's a big event. My family will be there. We
can't wait.
