Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now we've been talking obviously a lot about candy and
costumes because we're getting close, even though it doesn't technically
feel like it yet. Now, Jim, they came out with
the list of the healthiest. I'm not sure this is
what we think of when we think of candy, but
the healthiest Halloween candy happens to be an American favorite.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
And I knew it.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
I knew it, and we've talked, we've talked about this before.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
It's something you've we've talked brought up.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
What is the healthiest, healthiest Halloween candy?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Jim. I'm pretty sure you love these.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
I know.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I just mentioned them the other.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Day to help because they have protein, a lot of
protein in them and just a little bit of tome.
Come on, no healthiest candy, you just pop them in.
But this one is healthy because it's got a lot.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Of protein in the middle. Tech now, protein in.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
The middle, all right, it happens to be well, we'd
say this is the most favorite Halloween candy this year
and I think last.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
But it's a version of it. They have ten million
versions of this, Jimmy.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Come on, little guys, one's red.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Bear. Oh for the love it.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Is the healthiest Halloween candy peanuts.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I know, Okay, I knew it. Every time I eat them,
I'm like, this is healthy. There's a peanut in the middle,
so yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
According to a registered dietishue with top nutrition coaching, the
healthiest Halloween candy is peanut Eminem's because there's peanuts, which
has at least a little more substance than just corn syrup,
and it has two grams of protein, and it's really,
you know, probably the best thing for you. Do you
want to know some other options or I mean not
(01:48):
like that's what we're looking for with our Halloween candy,
but it is kind of fun to know.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
I'm so happy to know that, because I'm serious. Every
time I eat them, I'm like, ooh, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Also on the list, let's see here we have no
actually there's no others.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
On the list.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Oh now, well, Greze's Peanut butter cup also has a
lot of protein, but there's a lot more sugar added.
Snickers got nine grams of added sugar, but it does
have protein.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Uh yeah, that's the problem.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Almon Joy also as nuts, but it has.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
It's mostly corn syrup and it has that side effect too.
What all enjoy I'm enjoy does. Yeah, sometimes it makes
you feel like it nut and sometimes it don't. That's
sir Jim. Nobody wants that side of it. There's enough.
There's enough nuts out there. We don't need more.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
So all right, well, there you go. I think number
one is just the peanut M and M everything else
that's pretty equal.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
So okay, there you go.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
It is ninety three point nine light up M unless,
of course, you hand out apples, you know, but that's
up to you. Oh, you can face the wrath of
the children on your own if you do that. All right,
let's get you some cash so you could buy all
that healthy candy. Are you ready?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
We're paying your bills.
