Speaker 1 (00:00):
On Friday we've been talking about, or maybe it was Thursday.
It was your first love day, and I was asking
if anybody married their first love or you've any stories
about them. I of course remember Jimmy's like, oh, I
think everybody remembers their first love or crush. But there's
a woman on the line. I think her name is Kathy,
And wait, what did you You married your first love?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Married my first love fifty five years later?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Oh what you did? What happened?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Well? I did, but you know I was fifteen with
a summer crosh. You know, we both went back home,
we went our separate ways. We were both married. You know,
I had children, great families. I lost my husband to
cancer and we ended up my first love and I
ended up reconnecting and we just got married in Juna
(00:50):
this year. And I'm going to be seventy the end
of this month.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Oh yay, How cute is that you married your first love?
When did you first love him?
Speaker 2 (01:00):
The teenagers? It was an efatuation, my first.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Crush, you know. Oh oh, but I married him something
great story. I love that, especially, like if you have
a daughter, well or a son, right, like just to
say you never know what will happen one day.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Absolutely, you never know. And I mean I had a
wonderful marriage in between, and three beautiful children and grandchildren,
and you know I had, I had it all. When
I lost my husband, I never, in my wildest dream
imagined that I would ever fall in love again or
marry again and standless him. So it was somewhere picked
(01:43):
down inside. I guess it just never went away.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I'm literally sitting here in a pool of my own tears.
I'm literally so moved by that. This is such a
beautiful story for everyone to hear this morning, right about
faith and faith and renewal and moving forward in one's
life and enjoying everybody. I'm literally literally in tears. It's
the onions.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Why are they cutting onions? And it's right and the
struggle and you know, it took me a while to
come around, but he didn't waiver and you got married.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
It's all.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Oh, now I have my happily ever after.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
A God. Yeah, it's a great story. That's a great story.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
You know, when you started talking about first love, just like, oh,
I have to call her.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Oh man, I'm so glad you did. This is a
great lesson for everybody. Listening today, this is just as beautiful.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
