is Cynthia there. This is Cynthia. It's Melissa Foreman from
ninety three point nine light FM. Hi.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (00:36):
How are you doing?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I'm doing well. Are you shocked? I am shocked and
I don't get shocked very often, but I all kind
of love me speakless.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
That's the best part of the whole thing. How is
the holiday going? How is Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Thanksgiving was wonderful. It just isn't the same without all
our children here, but it was good.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
All right? So you sent us a Christmas wish? I did.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Oh my gosh, you've had tears. This is awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
You're the first one of the season. I literally was
shaking calling you. I don't know what it is. It's
so scored.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I'm like, well, the first one.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I just told my daughter in law what I had done,
and she told me, she's like, oh, you know how
our luck is in our family. We don't ever want anything. Well, hair,
I am okay, So, my gosh.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
So tell us you wanted to get your son and
daughter in law a new couch.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
He is currently deployed. He's been deployed since June, so
he won't be home for the holidays. Well, he's been deployed.
My daughter in law, she is also in the military.
She's in the Army Reserves. She's been looking for a
home because when he comes back, he's coming home to
a new home because they have to be out of

(01:55):
their apartment. And they just thought it. Yeah, they got
their new house and they need for nature very badly.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So your son and daughter in law both serve in
the US military. Your son is badly deployed. He's in
the Navy on the USS Gerald Ford.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Correct. Wow.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah June, so you didn't see him for Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
You said, no, we won't see him for Christmas. Yeah. No,
we haven't been able to talk to him or see him.
So it's a little rough, you know, mom, sometimes, but oh,
you got to get there, you got to see your
daughter in law.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
For now, I'm crying. Look what you did to me.
Now you saw your.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Daughter in law for Thanksgiving, though you were able to
see her. No, we didn't get to see her either
because she's got to do her military stuff too. So yeah,
it was a little bit of a split Thanksgiving, and
it'll be a split Christmas well.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
So when they come home, it would be so cool
if they had a new couch so the whole family
could gather.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Absolutely absolutely, Well.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
It's funny because I happen to know the greatest people
at a place that nine Hopfles and they actually are
part of Christmas wish this year, and so Cynthia, we're
going to grant your Christmas fish.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
They will never believe it. They think I am this
crazy mom that does some of this crazy stuff. They
think we have like no luck in our family, And
this is I am so blest, I truly am. You
guys have no idea. I'm grateful. I am so grateful.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
I can't wait till they come home. I can't wait
till you can gather on this new couch. And I
hope this is a reminder to people that wishes do
come true, even when you think you're the most unlucky
family in the world.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yes, they do come true. I love ninety three point
nine and I mean I have nothing more to say
except for we are truly blest and grateful for.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
You guys, well Cynthia, to you, to Tim, and to Lillian.
We just want to wish you all very very Christmas.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Oh my gosh, thank you, thank you so much. You
left me speechless for the first time in a long time.
Are you.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
A happy home? I don't, I don't, Ida, I don't,
I can't

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
