Speaker 1 (00:00):
Melissa Foreman, producer, Jim and you and I hope you're
wonderful and well, it is time we have to call
our teacher salute with our friends that visit Florida. They
get two hundred and fifty dollars and they qualify for
this epic trip to the Loew's Miami Beach Hotel with
us this summer. All right, right now, she doesn't know
why I'm calling, but Anne Dakins, Anne Dakins is who
(00:20):
I'm calling. So all right, good morning, how you doing?
I'm doing great? How are you good? Okay, listen, I
know it's really busy this morning. You gotta get to
your kiddo's eighth grade ELA at Simmons Middle School. Right, yes,
so we do this thing called a teacher Salute where
we get emails from thousands and thousands of people about
amazing educators, and we got an email about you. Oh,
(00:42):
like gosh, it's great to hear. Okay, and this one's
really good. Do you know this guy? I think his
name is Joshua. Do you know does that sound familiar? Yes,
yes it does. Who would that be your husband? Yes?
It is? Okay, Well he's said that great teachers know
the way to grow kids is to love them. I
(01:04):
could cry. My wife is the best educator I've ever known.
She's an extraordinary teacher. She always provides food and school
supplies for her students so they can have a safe, magical, memorable,
and transformational learning experience every day. She builds trust with
her students. I'm gonna cry. By fostering open communication, she
is a safe space for honest reflection that inspires her
(01:26):
students to engage in their learning and think for themselves,
and challenges her students to go beyond expectations and explore
new ideas. She's an amazing professional and even more amazing person.
And I'm humbled, honored and inspired by her every day
and all that she does with four kids. Oh that's
so beautiful. Oh he's a keeper. Oh you are so lucky.
(01:54):
You are so lucky. But we're lucky, and your students
are lucky to have you. So I just wanted to
let you know and Dacon that you are this week's teachers.
So lowly, thank you, so fun and this is so great,
this especially during this time of year when things are
extra tough. No, well, listen, we're gonna get you two
hundred and fifty dollars from our friends a visit Florida. Yay, Well,
(02:18):
it's amazing and you're qualified. We're taking this epic trip
and we'll do one teacher a month that's gonna go
with us to the Low's Miami Beach Hotel. And you're
all set and you are qualified for November. Okay, wonderful.
Thank you so much, you're so welcome. Thank you for
what you do. Thank you, thank you, and you can
imagine doing anything else. Oh, I mean the way you're
(02:39):
moved by this, and again that you have such a
great support group and your husband and everybody around you,
and I'm sure he's great. Yeah, all right, we're gonna
get teachers nominated just like Ann. Go to ninety three
nine lightfm dot com slash contest and congratulations again, and
thank you so much. You're so welcome. Thank
