some show prep stuff, and I hit the I don't
know the live your cheek, but your cheek hit the
h The cheek hit the button and it took me
to a live call with you. And what do I see?
Joe saying? Hi, squatting in a bathtub wearing a hat.
Then he pants down. There was junk like I was

(01:11):
supposed to be like, what was that at It was
covered in water? It was what ever? I just wanted
to show you. There was nothing showing. Actually it was
pretty interesting. Yeah. So there you were in a bathtub
on a FaceTime or sounds.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Like he was looking for something there, Joe.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's kind of weird. What are you looking for? Yeah?
It was weird, bro.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
You're looking for You called me on FaceTime and it
just popped up and I'm in my bathtub.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It just with a with a ConA. It randomly hit
and there you were. Man, how did you feel about that?
With a hat on? I mean, I can't forget why you.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Had the hat on in the He did not have
the hat on in the tub.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Oh, I wish I had my screen record on.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
He was you messed up? And you, Joe, you have
a hat on in a tub.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
No, he's okay, Stevid, I swear to you. You are
such a memory. You know, fishing can be fun, they said, Anyway,
I've heard some stories on fishing this week. Okay, talk
about fishing here? Football?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Football? Football? Yeah, can we talk about how.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
The Chiefs lost last night? Later? How great is that? Okay? Fine? Great?

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Chiefs lost yay, Raiders play the Patriots.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
We gotta win about the Raiders, say, let's go.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
This is a fishing boating show. Not really?

Speaker 3 (02:36):
What about key Pie? I thought we're gonna have key
Li Pile next week? Doesn't explain fishing, which we love.
We love Lisa.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Lisa Roth from Bob Ross newver Groves will be here
next week on a set bringing Pie is defeat Joe again.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
We love we love Lisa live.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I can't wait for that one. How is she? She's
doing great? She lost her dog this week for man,
pretty dog down? Anyway, we haven't got holding the line.
One page lists bring about Shally. He's waiting, probably going like,
what the hell's going on?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
She's making wait more?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
No, he would be very ticked off. Jimbo's a Raider fan.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I don't bring him up, Joey, come Rader fan.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
He is Jimbo, the Raider fan. He loves the Raiders, Raiders.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
He's a Jimbo and Raiders and by good, what do.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You want man? I'm ready for the Raiders. I'm ready man.
It's football season. Man, Come on, jim boyd him? How
you doing, buddy? You want to see my dear, dear
friend I'm great, but.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
I'm not really sure about that intro.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
It was it was one of the worst ever Jimbo
My no, maybe one of the absolute works.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
You know what Jimbo likes.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Oh, you're right now that that was better than that.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
He's the why did that even happen? Like how did
that start? It just about the show's playing.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Because you started singing that sounded.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Like a freaking uh the the seminal chant, and then
it turned into copa Cavana chant and that just beam rolled.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
From there, jim walking back in the show, my friend.
You know, kind of a weird weak fishing wise for
you on the Thomas Flyer. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (04:26):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Because on Tuesday?

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, that was like earlier in the week. Yeah, Well,
first off, we've got kind of crap weather all week,
not rough, but rainy. If you're here in South Florida,
you're well aware of that. So the guys have made
it out and there are fish out there, but there
hasn't been a whole lot of pressure on them the

(04:52):
last few days, so they should be hungry if you
get out there today. I was supposed to go out
on the flyer, but my guys failed out they were
worried about this weather that's kind of like nonexistent and
actually looks pretty nice right now. So dolphin fishings much
like it has been the last couple of weeks. They've
been way offshore for the most part, and if you

(05:14):
can find anything floating, you're going to most likely have
a pretty good catch. And the size has gotten a
lot bigger too. Whereas they were four or five, maybe
six pounders, a lot of these fish are six, seven,
eight pounders. Now there's even a few larger ones mixed in.
You'll fifteen pounds. But you know, catching them is the

(05:38):
easy part. You just got to find them. So they've
getting a little better. Birds have been pointing them out
for us. But if you could find something floating in
three hundred feet of water and have most likely have
a good catch if you're the first one to find it.
But for some reason it seems like everything has been
much further off, maybe just because we've all been way

(05:59):
ahead out there looking for it and that's where we're
gonna find it. But that's that's where the dolphin have been.
And the black men tunas are still around those football
black means late afternoon they've been coming up or like
on an overcast day like we've had plenty of that
in the last few days. Or if you get on

(06:21):
some of these structures like the some of these deeper
water wrecks or the hump off government cut, you can
drop down a jig and get these black fans throughout
the day, but they're down deep and then they seem
to be popping up when it gets overcast or again
late in the afternoon, and that's when you can catch
them up near the surface.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Okay, nice. Any size to those.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
They're footballs. I haven't heard of or seen any myself
over about ten pounds, which he makes my sushi out
of that ten pounder.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Sure, and then that tuna.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Yeah, I mean, it's that's the kind of typical, you know,
for what we see this time of the year nowadays.
You know, we don't see those twenty five pounders unfortunately,
but I'll take ten pounders.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
And then we've got Jimbo.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
We were seeing those in August, which is pretty weird.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
Yeah, I mean, there's always obviously the chance, but there's
not loped up.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Wait wait wait, wait wait wait wait. First of all,
don't ever correct a captain. What correct you just corrected
the master. Okay, I'll just show he's he's a legendary.
Don't ever correct it. But he was that told us
don't ever correct Jimbo Thomas Jimbo. Jimbo speaks list Eric's
having a stroke. I don't know what's wrong with him.

(07:41):
His eyes twitching.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Joe, don't listen to him because I I can't be corrected.
I have been known to be wrong many many times,
so it's all good.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
God have a friend. But I can't. What was you? Jimbo?
Hang up?

Speaker 4 (07:57):
I love Jimbo. I'm never doing the copa ever again.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Ever. Anyways, A flyer fly today, Jim, or what bed?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
It is not flying today, unfortunately. But I just looked
at the radar and it's looking pretty good for now
at least, and it's nice and calm. That's the main thing.
But that lightning has been pretty bad out there, so
if you do make it out there, be careful with
that lightning.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Hooked to his trailer and wants to go out and
fish today, Jim game plan man, head out, I get
looking for flocking birds, looking for weeds.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Look at what I would head offshore looking for all
of the above weeds floaters and birds. And if birds
are usually on top of any if the fish are there,
there's a good chance the birds are going to be
on whether it's on seaweed floater or just out in
the middle of nowhere. So birds are our best indicator

(08:57):
when we're looking for dolphin at least, so good pair
of binoculars or you get that sim red with the
bird mode on your radar, especially with it calm, you
can spot those birds pretty good. And once we find them,
catching them is not the problem. Uh. Small live baits
is what's been working good. If you can get some

(09:18):
cigar minnows or pilchers, or if you don't find any
bait in clothes, have a sabiki rod ready, because out
on those floaters and on the bigger patches of grass,
you can drop down your sabiki and catch some bait.
And I mean you can catch the bait on one side
of the boat and cast them out on the other
side and catch a dolphin on it.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
You know, Joe I was heading out for a day
of fishing. You know what I do. I just probably
just shadowed Jibbo's boat, just follow him out wherever things
are hidding. Of course, just shadow his boat because yeah,
I have that guy.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
I've seen Eric's fishing skills. I don't think he'd be
much of a thread.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
If I told you, Dave Panels, he is ripping you.
Today I got fish and in the second trip I
got a boatload of mahi. Okay, you're holding up your been.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
You're talking about you following memory?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Why this show turned on me? What did I do
wrong today? Breathe just show up? Just shown up? But
that was it? Man, I'm fair game. I have a
target on my back. You bring it on God like
you started whatever, you.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Try to start controversy and then, like what Jimbo did,
he turns it right around.

Can't blame it on me Eric this time.

Now back to the Nautical Ventures Weekly Fisherman Show powered
by Mercury Marine.

Speaker 15 (15:01):
Go boldly, here's there with Brandon and Joe Hector.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
We have a rocket smoking show going. At first ten
minutes was something worth rewinding and replaying. If you want
to see me get thrown under a major asphalt paper
check that one out of man. Yoh yeah, I got
selected by everybody. Man, I'm sharing you, sharing the show.
So this man is a snake snake head king. He's
had a multiple record obviously, Joe. Throughout the eight times

(15:28):
eight times, some guys skanked it with some kind of
a hand feld f headfil fit, hand fit hand fed
fish pass five times fast.

Speaker 20 (15:38):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
But we'll see what he's doing now, shall we. What
did you say? Hand fed fish? That is hard, hand
fed fish hand fed early in the morning to be
putting words together. Yeahy, Corey, my friend, Good morning to you, Corey.

Speaker 21 (15:53):
How are we doing this morning? And everything good?

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Probably been a rough ten minutes of the show here, Coursey,
and the best show ever. It's been a great man. Sorry,
where you head out? So you fishing today? Take the
take a little ride to the glades. Where you go?

Speaker 21 (16:05):
Buddy boy, we're no, I'm running around the urban jungle
of South Florida. So we're gonna try to go for
some snakeheads and maybe some peacock bass. So are you
in the three No, you'll you won't catch me in
three oh five?

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Very much, man, that's where I live. Man, be careful.
That's why he's not going there. He knows stand that.
Steve Boa, thank you very much. Probably the five six one.
I'm thinking I'm gonna.

Speaker 21 (16:36):
Say yeah, yeah again, Joe, Yeah right, yeah, I'm not
That's what I do. I'm not a big not a
big Miami fan. I can't stand the traffic and craziness that.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
I'm not a dolphin town either. Thee live there, so uh,
the urban canals producing fish, peacocks? What are you seeing
out there? Well?

Speaker 21 (17:02):
The the snake head bite was really what was what
was on. It's been some peacocks, but the snakehead bite
was all that rain that we've had this past week.
And uh, that's that's been the bite. I mean pretty
much anything top water, subsurface, you know, whatever you want
to use. They were they were hitting pretty pretty good,

(17:23):
I have to say. So it's just typical. I mean
that that rain gets and gets them going as usual.
So that's that's always. And then I got a few
air pint. Now I'm just.

Speaker 22 (17:34):
Kidding, dude, Corey, I almost just passed. Actually just threw
you a joke the laugh to man.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
But you know what, though, deep down Corey knows that
there's arapie.

Speaker 21 (17:49):
He knows, oh there is, there is, there is once again,
there is a place over in Punt. There's a place
over in Punt, the Gorda. There's a place to port
go or to that they're trying to they're going to
open up probably in the next year. That they have
these pond and these ponds they have ara pyma that
they are going to have people come over and you know,

(18:12):
you could pay them to you know, let you fish
these ponds. And they have these giant ara pinma in them.
So yeah, Eric.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Talking about Hey, is that is that legal to bring
other fish from other places to do.

Speaker 21 (18:26):
That or just don't be To be honest with you,
I'm surprised that they're even doing that. I guess they've
got some sort of permit to do that. I don't
know how that works. I would have thought that fish
would be a fish that you wouldn't be able to
do that, you know, bring a fish of that size
and that can get that big here in the States.
So I guess they get away with it.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I guess if it's if it's on your property, is yeah,
you know what I mean is that.

Speaker 21 (18:54):
That maybe that that may be what they're getting away with,
you know, it's it's landlocked and it's on their own property.
And I guess that's that's a good question because I
would have thought that would have been a fish that
was on like a prohibited list, you know, from being here.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Because they are essentially you could say, well, I ordered
these fish like everyone else can, and I'm keeping them
in my tank right like big aquarium.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Right. What if some sick Corey decided to bring piranhas
from South America and release those into the water, they
would live here. It's really a nice warm environment. They
would proliferate here. They just really have a field day.
But so far nothing, Yeah, they would have done that.
I would think, well that well, that.

Speaker 21 (19:41):
That's well they have but that's a fish. That's that's
on like the prohibited list of being here. They won't
allow well they won't allow you to bring them here.
But you know that people, that doesn't mean that doesn't
mean that people don't.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Do it either. People don't break the laws exactly one
another a dress or something.

Speaker 21 (20:01):
Oh no, no, no, I agree. I agree. Everybody does
shady stuff, so I know I agree completely. People do
crazy stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Back on the happy legal news these days. Large wait,
can I say something real quick, real quick? It has
to go with the Uh okay, so the large mouth, Corey.
We haven't talked about large mouth quite some time. You
nailed a couple of two weeks ago. We saw his photos, Joe.
These are gargantuan large moth. Okay, I know we talked

(20:30):
about it, but we have new people watching the show
every week, so whatever, So large Mouth of your list
this week, Corey.

Speaker 21 (20:41):
Uh yeah, no, I didn't really get into him this week.
I yeah, I know the previously when I was out.
So we got you know, we got some nice fish
and we got off to eight towns. We didn't we
didn't get a lot of fish, but we got you know,
we got some. We got size. That was that was
a big thing, which is kind of typicals time of year.
It's you know, you're not gonna sometimes catch a lot

(21:04):
of them, but you're gonna get You can get big
ones if you find you know, you get, you get
into them and you get in the right area.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
So right, but right, yeah, No, I.

Speaker 21 (21:17):
Mean we were using twelve to fourteen inch worms, so
I mean, and you can use sixteen inch that works
really good too.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
So do you put a bullet weight on the front
of that wormtory a bullet weight on your rig at all?

Speaker 23 (21:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 21 (21:31):
Typically I'll use like a like an eighth, a pounce
or like a three eighth, just something real light. Usually
an a pounce. That's usually what I use. And it's
just because the slower the the slower the presentation of
it falling, the better it is. I just I feel,
instead of just shooting past them all the time. Yeah,

(21:54):
but it's that slower fault that gets a lot of bites,
a lot of times more than anything or even even
without a weight, even without a weight that that works questions.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
You check out my sixteen.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
You want to ask your question now, Joe that you
were going to cut me off with there. Oh I'm allowed.
Please don't ask Joe, Please go Joe.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
So actually it's more of a if Corey maybe knows
about this story. But I heard that there was a
story that there was a lake where people did release
piranha and that lake was like being decimated and some
kid I guess got bit not died, but got like
bit up. And FWC came and we should ask Rodney

(22:40):
this and they like shut down the lake and they
literally like nuked it. They like just like poisoned. Oh,
they like poisoned the whole lake, made it off limit
killed all the fish. And that was the story of Uh.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
You find the weirdest stories on these really weird websites
that have no bearing or Robbie, no truth all. Okay,
it was like alien invasion. You said this about believe
that and they're here. Okay, you believe you know, Star
Wars was real.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Well, the government did say aliens are real. He did
say UFOs are real. So everything I'm saying is.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
True you think SpongeBob was real?

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Yes, Corey, do you did you hear did you hear
about that story?

Speaker 6 (23:18):
Though?

Speaker 21 (23:20):
I haven't heard that, but I mean I have heard
of it.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Hasn't heard that.

Speaker 24 (23:28):
In the past.

Speaker 21 (23:28):
I've heard you know, purana is possibly being here, you know,
because people have mistaken them for the pakus which we have.
But I mean, you know, anything is possible.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
By the way, Internet check a I overview, while rare
and illegal to own paranas have been caught in Florida waterways.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Actually the quick fact check there, Grey, thank you for
validating that the scary news. I guess. Uh.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Sometimes rumors can be real. Eric, have you heard of
rumor you being gone?

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Oh it's gonna be Steve again by Cory.

Speaker 25 (24:07):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
I wish the best luck fisher today. Man. A good

Why favorite Rick? Yeah? His name is Erick sing it. No,
I'm not singing. Come on, not gonna join that stuff?
You do? Why you used to? Because I've that only
a five year old on this program. I want to
be like a ten year old. I'm Matt today. I'm

(29:58):
not mad at all. Come there, you want to hug
touch me? Come here, Come on out, knife you let's
go to the reward fishing fleet. Talk to a man
is really serious and stays on point, doesn't drift off
right and left to outer space and other kind of
you know, conspiracy theories. It's one of the only Wayne
come dumb man, ya don't get me started.

Speaker 6 (30:20):
Hey man, I've learned how to keep my head down.
But I've got some theories that will blow you away.
But we ain't gonna talk about that right now.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Come on, come on, Joe, dude, I'm out there. Joe
did a great TikTok video this week. It featured you,
you talking about that cow. I asked that question last week.
What's the strangest thing you told Myers after in the water?
You said you saw that cow? I stupidly asked, was
it still swimming? But that was?

Speaker 6 (30:49):
Yeah, show that I went a free fishing trip on
the reward or something. What did I win?

Speaker 2 (30:53):
You know, an autograph from Joe? Okay, I got.

Speaker 6 (30:58):
A cup yeah with that, which reminds me. You know,
it's funny how things change. I was lucky enough to
play on a basketball team way back. We finished seventh
in the nation and junior college basketball at Hutchinson, Kansas,
and which is pretty cool. I got to play against
artists Gilmore and some really cool old dudes that are
in the in the in the NBA Hall of Fame. Anyway,

(31:20):
that's my smallest claim to fame, I guess. However, the
award we got, the award we got looked like a postcard,
you could imagine, and I got it round in my
garage here somewhere. But yeah, so but nowadays, man, you
get everything for whatever. Anyway, guys. The best thing we
got going weather. It's been really calm. We do get

(31:42):
whacked with some with some cool air, which is kind
of nice. I actually will run into the rainstorms at
times the coolest off, so we have flat calm weather
man flat com weather. We're catching a lot of yellow
tails in the daytime, a lot more than we kind
of do normally. But yeah, we've been catching quite a
few flat coom season and dropped off the past five
or six days. I actually ran a night trip a

(32:05):
couple of nights ago. That's I'm just recovering still from it.
I'm used to getting up at four in the morning,
not going to bed at for so but yeah, we're
still catching big mangroves at night. Great time to come
fishing man, Really good calm seas. Got a bunch of
guys coming out jigging out of Benita's are slowing down,
which is kind of nice too. So yeah, right, been

(32:25):
good fishing man, good.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Fishing for clients. So Wayne, I mean, Benita to them
is like, you know, a great day because they don't
fish that often, so if it bends that rod, they're
having a great time.

Speaker 6 (32:35):
Right, absolutely absolutely in those days, I you know, fifteen
twenty years ago. My customers would quit fishing in one drift.
We might catch twenty big benitas and they go and
f let's go home, cap right. We had our flat
and that's it.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
You know. It's a that Banito's actually school up with
black Fintunas think kind of like traveling the same.

Speaker 6 (32:56):
No, they definitely go together. We have caught in the
middle of Benita's many many we had I think we
had five black fins at the same time, all thirty pounders.
A few years ago we were. And the other thing
is a lot of people don't realize that the patience
that you have to show and chumming. You know, a
lot of guys stated, oh, you go out and you

(33:17):
throw out ten pilchards and you don't get any fish
in five minutes you leave. Well, that's that's the best
thing you could ever do. If you're going to go offshore,
and it's maybe a bit of a tip, I'm herd bounce.
I used to it. I used to do it when
I ran my skiff, but we wouldn't net a ton
of bait, and you would have your own bait ball
around your boat and you might be at three or
four hundred feet of water and you're taking half a

(33:39):
case of sardines, start whacking it up, going over the side,
Drink a cup of coffee, put out a flatline or
two and wait. You may not get a bite for
two hours, but when you do, you're going to catch
blackfintune as fast. You know, every bait, every bait, every
bait till the man shows up, till the shark shows
up or something. So the fish are out there, but
not many guys understand that at that patience level. And

(34:01):
you just got to have faith that in that water column,
that huge column of chum you got going down with
live baits around the surface, they're gonna find you. They
will find you. And I know it was a few
years ago. Man, we were doing like a yellowfant every
day too. Late in the afternoon. They would come up
in there too. There's still some elephants come by off Miami. Yeah,
the elephant tune has come by up Miami at times.

(34:22):
I know bouncer caught. I don't remember if it was
three or four days in a row or whatever, but yeah,
we were we were kind of doing that out there,
just going out there patiently chumming and they come to
chunk chump. Great, you don't have tublewell full of live bait.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
They will.

Speaker 6 (34:35):
As a matter of fact, dude, back in the when
the guys first started running across tuna fishing, the guy
that got him going on it over there was a
Montauk fisherman or something. All they did was chump, chump.
You know they don't they didn't live bait. Chump. You
don't need a live bait. Chump. You get over there north,
you know, north of of Isaac, between Isaac and Uh

(34:56):
and Graham Bahama. That whole, that whole section of that
channel in there is where guys for years have been
running and chasing yellowfant tunes. It was all started with
dead bait, all dead bait, and the fish don't know
the difference, man, You know they.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Put it out there or what I mean?

Speaker 6 (35:11):
Yeah, just chump man. You get in front of them. Actually,
the way we do that over there was you'd see
him busting and and you see which way they're going.
Just just scoot in front of them and just starts.
You know, you have a whole case or two of
sardines cut up, a little chunks, just start sprinkling all
over the place and take a couple of fifties and
start just with a big hook at them and just

(35:31):
start stripping line off of them and let it sink
and uh hang on. So when they find you, it's instantaneous.
I mean it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Sorry you're doing about their boucher smith, by the ways,
making a little little uh debut back at this hour,
he's going back for a real quick little pop ins.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Yeah, good for good.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
That's great, man, real quick.

Speaker 6 (35:53):
But we grew up together, bro.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
We what what do you normally use for chumming? Though?

Speaker 6 (36:00):
Use if you're going to chump for tune the fish.
You can't beat sardines. I will tell you they're one
of the very best. And you can buy cases of
them at any any of the bait shops. You got right,
go right to the base stores. It goes like bait
Masters or whatever man they know which sells to the
tackle shops. Go to Captain Harry's, go to Crook and
Crook they all got it and leave their five pounds.
But by the big buy the big jumbo pack the

(36:22):
forty pound case and thought out.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Or your buddies are aces. We thank you appreciated man.

Speaker 6 (36:40):
Man And if you've got to if you're doing yellow
tailed chumming, that you go buy a fifty pound bag
of beat pulp and you make sure chumming without you
go to a feed store.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
What well, what do you.

Speaker 6 (36:51):
Think, what do you think we're buying cans We're buying
canisters of quick oats or something. Then go buy a
fifty pound bag, you know. You know, hey, thirty years
ago I went with Bob Lewis himself and we used
like one of these two horse power paint paint mixers
to do. We did like ten to five gallon buckets
of of beat pulp and chum and drank a bottle

(37:16):
of Scotch while we did it. We actually went fishing
the next day, so mister.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Lewis absolutely, absolutely yeah.

Speaker 6 (37:25):
Bob, Bob was wow, amazing, amazing old school fishermen. You know, hey,
I guess that's that. That's what they call me now.
But but yeah, having having the opportunity of fish with
some of these guys is invaluable.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
We got we're going to o'clock your windows. We got
wait behind you right now.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
Listen, guys, residents, fifty bucks go fishing for four hours.
I don't know what else I could tell you out
of Miami. You bring your twelve year old kid for free.
That's you know.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
And wait, we got to talk about the kids. I'll
give you a call today.

Speaker 6 (37:58):
I got well, stuff go on with the kids. It's
gonna happen this year.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
So awesome, A wonderful day bringing the dive fan there,
jumping show with your blippy flippy thing there. Man, that's

(38:22):
what he does best man. But I'm not gonna bring
it up today. I'm gonna try to refrain from going
into my tirade because I've been my hony is busted
by a few guys on the show.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Here by the way, ye yes, if I hear that
word one more time, I will unshare the show, I promise.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Okay, great, so he has the power. Yes, let's bring
them up, shall we. Jim the Man say the word please, Matthew.

Speaker 33 (38:50):
Saying hey, Joe, that's funny.

Speaker 34 (38:55):
I'm doing good like Yes, we send pictures, traded some
Pokemon cards.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
It was also a Bondy happy game moment. It was.
It was yeah, so besides that happy time, how you doing, gym?
What's shake it down below the water buddy?

Speaker 17 (39:18):
All right, let me let me tell you this. The
conditions are ideal.

Speaker 33 (39:22):
Uh you flat, flat, flat ocean for now what two
three weeks been steady.

Speaker 17 (39:29):
Uh, visibility could improve.

Speaker 33 (39:31):
It's thirty forty feet nothing exciting, but listen, that's not
still not bad, okay, and gentle currents.

Speaker 17 (39:38):
I mean, I wish I could have bought a current.
The other day, I'm like, what is it going north?
All right, maybe it's going south. It's just crazy, like
nothing down there.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Uh.

Speaker 33 (39:49):
But here's the deal. We're still catching our limit of lobsters.

Speaker 17 (39:54):
It's unreal. I had, uh, I had two.

Speaker 33 (39:58):
Buddies with me, Marcella and Kimmy on the LADYG Diver,
which is the Dixie Divers, and Captain John put us
on the good stuff. And you know, it's all about
the drop. I tell people that it's all about the
drop where you go. And we were off of between
the Popino Pier and the Fort Lauderdale Pier.

Speaker 17 (40:18):
And it wasn't bad. Even the guys. They had some
guys out deeper.

Speaker 33 (40:23):
They had a couple are gonna go after lionfish, so
that was good. And I actually got a big lionfish,
so that was nice. Nice, And but again our limited lobsters.
So I cannot complain.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
Here.

Speaker 33 (40:36):
We are into September and water temperature is really really warm.

Speaker 17 (40:41):
It's nice.

Speaker 33 (40:42):
It's pleasant heading out tomorrow with a bunch of guys
and we have a time.

Speaker 17 (40:48):
So yeah, all good. Life is very good in the
Chiefy crew world.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
Okay, nice. How those bunks you actually freeze or you
just had about the friends?

Speaker 33 (40:59):
No, no, no, I I freeze them most of the time.
Uh actually tell you that you're fresh fresh lobster. Take like,
even if you get them fresh, I would advocate putting
them in the fridge so that the kind of meat
shrinks away from the shell a little bit. If you
just take them right out of the ocean and you

(41:21):
put and you you try to put them on the
grill or whatever they they're they're a little somehow that
meat sticks into the shell. So I would at least
minimum put them in the fridge for a couple hours
and then put them on the grill.

Speaker 17 (41:36):
But rarely I do that. I typically bag them up.

Speaker 33 (41:40):
And you know everybody has their little tricks of bagging
and everything.

Speaker 17 (41:43):
I double bag them, buddy.

Speaker 33 (41:45):
I basically put three in a court size freezer bag
and then two bags of three, so that's six and
that's the limit in a gallon size. Yeah, you know,
I mean some people do that and that's okay, and
that's uh.

Speaker 17 (42:04):
You gotta be careful on the.

Speaker 33 (42:05):
Vacuum seal because the little uh actually because they are.

Speaker 17 (42:11):
Spinyes, you know.

Speaker 33 (42:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So that's the only thing there.
Some people put salt water in them and the canister
type of deal. But listen, I have so many lobsters,
you know, somewhere along the line, Joe, we gotta we gotta.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Get you more lobster so that you.

Speaker 17 (42:28):
You know, your family, you know, your family can have more.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Yeah, I agree. And I appreciate all the bags you've given.

Speaker 17 (42:36):
Yeah, yeah, and and and listen, I trade them.

Speaker 33 (42:38):
Out all the time, uh, Eric, I trade him to
good friends, buddies that are really buddies, the neighbors.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
I used to wear your bags before to close the
boat deal, the back three years ago, a boatshell to
close the boat deal. I'll give you those bag of
lobsters years ago. Was that three years ago? No, it wasn't.
Maybe it's going way back there. You ever do like
lobster shushi sushimi with those meet.

Speaker 33 (43:07):
No, but there are playings, yeah, you know, and And
here's the other good bit of good news is since
typically we go to the fish Shack on Tuesday nights,
that's at my house.

Speaker 17 (43:21):
Point, well, you know, I got I got to buddy can.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
They are.

Speaker 33 (43:29):
Renovation The shack place closed for renovation. The good news
is on what the heck date is it? On the sixteenth,
which is in like less than two weeks, they will
reopen tentatively, tentatively and uh, we'll be there on a
Tuesday night at seven pm. It's it's our standing date

(43:50):
that Oliver eight or ten of us go. We bring
whatever we caught and got over the weekend, and we have.

Speaker 17 (43:58):
So it's nice.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
It's tune it.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
Sometimes we'll have wow.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
You know that phrase that pays I'm about to read
this thing.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Did you come up with a new one?

Speaker 2 (44:10):
New one? Have you dispatched any fish for this week?
Jim Matthew, I like that. Have you dispatched a good one?

Speaker 17 (44:17):
I like it?

Speaker 2 (44:18):
I like it.

Speaker 17 (44:18):
No, I have not.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
I have not, I am.

Speaker 17 (44:24):
But that's a good term to use, you know. That's
the exception.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
He got that from bouncer.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
By the way, I haven't threatened with the show stream
being stopped.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
But that's a promise.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
What is Yeah, So here here's the deal.

Speaker 33 (44:40):
I'm going to tell you there's been probably more red
groupers in the last month or so that we've seen
that are good ones, fat ones, big ones, and we're like, okay,
good hog fish, I mean twenty five inch hog fish,
but yeah, big ones, like where the did you guys

(45:00):
come from?

Speaker 2 (45:01):
They're lost or something.

Speaker 33 (45:03):
But there's still those fifteen and a half is uh,
it's tough, man.

Speaker 17 (45:08):
You look at them. They look good, they look really good.

Speaker 33 (45:11):
Yeah, and they don't measure up, so that's not a
good thing. Some nice sized muttons. We're seeing some muttons
and muttons. You know, it's funny when you're lobstering the
muttons keep a watch because they're watching you. They love muttons,
snapper love lobster and lobster. They'll actually bring you sometimes
and so we'll red grouper to lobsters, so you kind

(45:34):
of on the reef there. You know, they are a
nice reef fish. So that's a good thing. Yeah, it's
been decent. I personally haven't gotten any fish dispatch this week.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
Very nice. I'm so dying that Other than no, I
had a lion fish. I can't die.

Speaker 33 (45:54):
I did spear a lionfish, but you just.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Come up with a new term. Eric beside me.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Okay, I'm working on. Dispatch is good. Dispatch is really good.
We're gonna dispatch you real pack. The clocks were gonna
r don't we're late. Have you seen any snook? Oh,
because it's snook season? No? No, okay, okay, fine, you
know you said no.

Speaker 33 (46:14):
You are not allowed allowed to spear snook, okay, or
anything with a billfish.

Speaker 17 (46:20):
So no, we're not allowed to spears snook.

Speaker 2 (46:24):
Jim, have a great weekend. Okay, go dispatch yourself. I
will think. All right, we gotta do a Starbrey giveaway

Speaker 6 (52:37):
Thanks Joe.

Speaker 39 (52:38):

Some questions?

Speaker 5 (53:07):
Questions?

Speaker 2 (53:08):
Man, Okay, you got plenty of time, Dave. If you
got a boat there.

Speaker 5 (53:11):

Speaker 38 (53:15):
Sold my boat five years ago, fresh out of boats.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
All right, I've watch the Friends with Boats? Okay, are
you fan of the show for a couple of years?
Or Joe turned me onto this?

Speaker 5 (53:26):
About what Joe two months ago?

Speaker 2 (53:29):
Yeah, you just have to pay him that.

Speaker 38 (53:32):
I didn't know Joe was famous.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
He said your bill. Wait, wait, Joe was famous.

Speaker 6 (53:38):
I didn't.

Speaker 5 (53:38):
I didn't know Joe was famous and he told me.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Yeah, he didn't know. He told me he was famous.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
He told me he was famous. Did he tell you me?

Speaker 3 (53:47):
The host of the show and everything, and he also
works with this guy Eric.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
Yeah, okay, fun. Anyways, David, I tell you where your
buckets going to be up the whole.

Speaker 3 (53:56):
Do you watch the show on the internet and listen
to it on the radio?

Speaker 6 (53:59):
Oh, come on, We'regester Radio.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Okay, I'm a boomer.

Speaker 5 (54:04):
We we do radios.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
There you go, David, Thanks so much, man, we'll talk
to you soon after. Thanks David. So Sean Rowlls is traveling.
He could not answer his phone. Man, he's lit upset
with I think he's in Hawaii though he's back to
back man, he's missed a program. Yeah, but I think
he's like far far well. This guy is back on
the show. Used to be a regular. He retired from
the program, but he's coming back for a debut appearance.

(54:26):
Here the One, the Only, the Legend. Captain Boucher Smith, Oh,
Captain Bouncer, how's a garden brother? Hey, Captain Bouscher.

Speaker 40 (54:34):
Want to you good morning, gentlemen, and you do Joe?

Speaker 2 (54:40):
Oh, thanks, I have one guy.

Speaker 4 (54:41):
One wouldn't be the same without bouncer, the only guy.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
On your side. I'm the only guy with one friend.
That's Bouncer Smith peez Cat walking back to the show.
I have probably been down in a wall. But how's
your fishing world, what's your life like? How you been? Man?

Speaker 23 (54:56):
Come on?

Speaker 39 (54:57):
Life has been good?

Speaker 40 (54:58):
I mean, you know, we we kind of nice up
here in Marietta, Georgia. We haven't had all day delusions
of rain like some people. I know it sounds like
you guys have really had more than your share of rain. Yeah,
but we're up here and we did have some rain
a couple of weeks ago. But yesterday my sister was

(55:19):
complaining that her plants needed water and it was so bad,
so she watered the plants yesterday.

Speaker 39 (55:25):
And of course today is supposed.

Speaker 40 (55:26):
To rain like crazy year, but only for an hour
or two and then of be over with. But other
than that, I've really been in a dry spell with
the fishing. And it's really a shame because up here
this all year around, we have a place called Lake Laniers,
aboun hour away and striped bass and spotted baths up
they're really really good and and they're delicious eating. By

(55:50):
the way, I had never experienced much straight bass eating.
And we went out up there and I said, yeah,
take one home and give it a try. And I
took one. And the next time I went, the guy says,
do you want to keep any fish?

Speaker 39 (56:06):
And I says, yeah, I think I'll keep two.

Speaker 40 (56:09):
And then the next time I went, yeah, I think
I'll keep three. Well, well, what I do is I
take them and there's they're fishing the average about eight pounds,
so one fish will give us three dinners. But I
take it and I flay it and skin it, and I.

Speaker 39 (56:30):
And bone it, and I.

Speaker 40 (56:33):
Put it in a zip lock bag and I dip
it in a bucket of water with the seal almost sealed,
and I dip it into Just before the seal, the
top edge.

Speaker 39 (56:43):
Of the bag goes underwater. And then when it's underwater,
I finished sealing, and that pushes all the air out
of the bag. And then I stick him in the freezer.

Speaker 40 (56:53):
And every time I want to have a nice fish dinner,
we pull out a bag and my sister saw tased
it up or something, and we have a nice fish dinner.
And it's really really easy to do it. It's kind
of a poor man's zip.

Speaker 39 (57:07):
I mean vacuum pact fish.

Speaker 3 (57:11):
Because, by the way, bouncer, I know, bouncer, bouncer, do
you put Terryoki sauce on your fish when it's ready?

Speaker 40 (57:19):
You know, I've never done that, but it's sound a
good idea. Terry Ox and chicken is just for the
bomb man.

Speaker 39 (57:26):
I mean, why did you ask that one?

Speaker 2 (57:28):
I have to add I'm wanting myself while that came out.

Speaker 3 (57:31):
Because I know bouncer likes Tiaki. He's talked about that before,
so I was wondering if you've ever done that on
a fish.

Speaker 40 (57:36):
Okay, Oh, this guy, Steve remembers everything and he's an
amazing guy.

Speaker 2 (57:40):
That changes. Yeah with half the brain left, so real quick.
You and I cast correct and you said it was
a bagging probably the best shows you ever seen, right, Oh.

Speaker 39 (57:49):
It was phenomenal.

Speaker 40 (57:50):
I spent most of my time at the Starbright Booth
or they head very good three art is working on
one piece of art at the same time. And if
that wasn't enough to keep you there, there was a
scientist there who's involved with their Indian River restoration program,
and he was just a wealth of knowledge about shrimp

(58:14):
and clams and all kinds of marine life. And did
you know the interesting thing about clams.

Speaker 39 (58:22):
Clams are filter feeders.

Speaker 40 (58:24):
So they sit underneath the edge of the sand and
they stick their nose out of the sand and they
suck in water, filter out of the materials that are
in the water, and that's what they eat. Well, if
they get more than they can handle, they accumulate all

(58:45):
of this.

Speaker 39 (58:46):
Microscopic food and they make it into little dough balls
and then they sut it back out. Now, a shrimp.

Speaker 40 (58:55):
Can't filter feed like a clam does, so when the shrimp,
I mean when the clamus sits to back out, then
the shrimp PiZZ it. So when they're filtering the water,
they're making food for the shrimp and the crabs. It's
an amazing symbiotic relationship.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
We're one normal life.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
I never knew that.

Speaker 2 (59:19):
We don't either. We didn't learn something about the ecology
down there and how these old things get along shrimp.

Speaker 3 (59:24):
And that's good thanks to the folks at Starbright bringing
in these specialists.

Speaker 39 (59:27):
Right, yeah, and you mentioned star Bright.

Speaker 40 (59:32):
You guys give that bucket away every week and people
don't realize.

Speaker 39 (59:36):
What they're getting.

Speaker 40 (59:37):
First of all, they get a three gallon bucket, and
if I remember correctly.

Speaker 39 (59:40):
I might even have a lid on it.

Speaker 40 (59:42):
But you get a three gallon bucket, which is all.
You never have too many buckets on the boat. And
a three gallon bucket a lot of times you'll fit
in a boat hatch or a five gallon buckets too tall.

Speaker 39 (59:55):
Then you get a bottle of.

Speaker 40 (59:56):
Rush stain removal when you take the starbright rush san
remover and.

Speaker 39 (01:00:01):
You just spray a little bit of it. It's a
spray bottle, and you spray a little bit of any
rough things on your boat. Monk, Dad's true.

Speaker 40 (01:00:09):
We're leaving official playing on the deck right there, and
then a few seconds the rush is gone.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Cap But the clocks were at seven o'clock. Beause we've
got to stop it.

Speaker 39 (01:00:21):
Pace.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
This is the bouncer Smith show, Eric, Yeah, show what's
wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
Don't cut them off. I want to hear this buckets.

Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
He's hiking the next hour.

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
I've got to hear the break here, Bouser. Thanks for
being the show. Come on, man, enjoy your basket. Wow.
We'll see that and say we love you, bouncer.

Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Your bouncer.

Speaker 39 (01:00:41):
I'll be down there the end of Octomber. I'm gonna
be looking for you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:00:44):

come back with more. Seven o'clock. I can sit in
Eric's chair right at the He could do it more.

by Mercury Marine.

Speaker 15 (01:04:26):
Go boldly our.

Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
Number two of the Aautical Ventures Weekly Fisherman Shows going on.
I brought you by the number one part dealership in America,
Doutical Lecher's Marine Eric Group. So last night, in a
little show prep, I called Joe Hector and somebody we
got on a FaceTime live thing and he was in
his bathtub and that could be proud of his daughter's tub,
oring a hat, taking a bath. Now, he's never shown

(01:04:51):
his head on this show live, So I'm going to
actually show the audience on the Facebook Extreme Live what
Jill Hector looks like without a hab on. Huh oh, yeah,
here we go. What are you doing. Hey, good morning
to you, Joe. How are you, buddy? Wow? Hi everybody?

Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
You actually spend time on that Joe without a hat?

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Good morning everybody, seeing that I've got it for you
right here, man, I've been waiting to bring this out
all morning long. You really like, I really pray I
paid for that. Make sure of you with no handout
of my face. How about it? Let's do it close?

Speaker 30 (01:05:23):
Good?

Speaker 2 (01:05:24):
How about that? That's Joe?

Speaker 3 (01:05:26):
What's wrong with that?

Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
And that's Sark Sark gas.

Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
His hair is real at least I don't think that that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Impacted like you thought. Uh, it's actually soaking into the
audience now they're actually like fainting.

Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
I didn't see anything. I didn't see anything wrong. What's
wrong with it?

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
What's wrong with I mean it's a little uncombed, a
little on conbe.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
It's a little bit really whack. Anyway, let's bring out Benny.
He's really going to show after we stopped talking about
hair and weird stuff. Yeah, you, I may just want
to rest the show man. Wow, Hey, Benny, how you doing,
buddy boy?

Speaker 38 (01:06:00):
He can't see you, yo, yo, Good morning, Good morning,
Hi Benny, Hey Joe, how's it going? What Is he
showing off a baldspot or something you got going on?

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
No, he's showing off my fro I don't know he's wearing.

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
It doesn't really look like a fro on.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
Can't remember taking his hat off on the show, Betty,
So I'm actually showing what Joe's like hatless on the program. Okay,
you like a fro strange man, Benny.

Speaker 38 (01:06:22):
Got all the female listeners are fired up.

Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
Yeah, now they're screaming and panic. Anyway, I saw you
holding a yellow and child, Betty Jersey. How about that,
buddy man, that's a bucket list if you're in Jersey boy, Yeah,
canyon style. Talk about that catch, Betty, Holy, that's great man. Yeah.

Speaker 38 (01:06:41):
Yeah, that was one of a couple we caught out there.
It was apparently a slower bite up here. The day
before we went to a spot that wasn't so productive.
We got word of a better spot, made our way
there and caught a couple of fish. So, you know,
networking works, even when you're one hundred miles off shore,
out of phone range, you still got to communicate somehow,
and and it works wonders for you.

Speaker 5 (01:07:01):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
I saw that also your stream on Facebook whatever show
it photos of that fish all bagged up in nice chunks. Man,
So where'd that fish go? Betty? Curious? Man? That yellowfin tuna?

Speaker 38 (01:07:14):
You know, even just two fish, it yielded a lot
of meat. So we spent a lot of time yesterday
air sealing up chunks of tuna. Some of them we
were air sealing big loins, and some of them we
were kind of prepping it like that so it looked
a little better and more presentable, just to give the
friends and stuff like that. You know, I drove my
truck up here, so I might be driving some fish

(01:07:34):
home as well.

Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
Wait, you didn't get it back. I was alluding to
the fact that we are friends, Betty, that was a
co host here at the show. Yes, And I'm sure
I have a bag of it already. I do. I do,
Jack Man, and he loves me. No, he's bringing me
a bag.

Speaker 38 (01:07:47):
I'm gonna put the bags at my Christmas party. So
when you guys know show this year, I'll still have
it anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
Wo Betty's fishing charters. What do you guys been doing?
I throwing the water this week? Man, what's been catching?

Speaker 38 (01:08:00):
Yeah, I mean it's it's been a slow week. For
us as far as you know, production are having clients
out there. As far as producing fish though, it's been
pretty productive out there. I know Captain Tyler went out yesterday.
It wasn't too hot for him. He was trying to
get a wahoo and trolling around the whole time. I

(01:08:20):
think he picked off at a kingfish, you know, a
couple of kudah's and benitas. But he didn't get his Wahooh,
that's right. He did release the sale, he told me. So,
you know, I'm up here just trying to think of
the reports for the week. What's been going on down there?

Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
That big too all the ways on a Facebook life feed,
it looks just ginormous. Man. That's great.

Speaker 3 (01:08:38):
By the way, Benny, I noticed you got the Eric
Brandon technique of holding the fish way in front of
you so it makes it look bigger. Did did he
teach you that as well?

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
Well?

Speaker 38 (01:08:47):
No, no, I taught him that one.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
Huh, Benny, makes my peacock bass look like monsters. Man,
thanblem Thank you so much.

Speaker 38 (01:08:55):
You could turn a twenty pound fish into like a forty.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
Easy if you oh the thing way up man, it
looks enormous, man, let me tell you for sure.

Speaker 4 (01:09:03):
Hey, hey, Benny, you want to talk a little bit
about the canyons for people that don't know here in Florida,
Like what style of fishing you were doing up there
to catch those tuna?

Speaker 38 (01:09:13):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's definitely a different fishery than here.
You know, we're used to popping two miles off the
beach here and being able to target a bunch of fish.
Running out to the canyons to me is more comparable
to us running into the Bahamas. You know, you're going
one hundred miles out into the Bahamas looking for these tunas,
but you got islands all around you. You know, we
go one hundred miles out here, there's nothing around you.

(01:09:34):
You're one hundred miles out. As far as the methods
of fishing they use, it is a little different up here.
I mean, you know, the first time I came up here,
they were dragging these spreader bars across the surface, and
I didn't think it looked like a very well presented
or would have been a productive bait. But then meanwhile
we're dragging a spreader bar across the surface that just
looks like a teaser with like a little chain behind it,

(01:09:55):
with a hook on it, and all of a sudden,
it's like bowling balls dropping out the sky and there's
yellow and tune the sky in on these spreader bars
that are just looking like a teaser in the spread
to me, you know which I know they get action
here from mahi or at home, you know, from mahi
and we'll get sailfish, you know, coming up and whacking
them with their bills sometimes. But yeah, definitely very different here.
I mean there's there was blue marlin coming up into

(01:10:17):
the spread, whacking the spreader bars. You know. Our first trip,
this time we were a little more prepared if that happened.
We had our chin weighted valley, who's some drop back
baits for him, stuff like that. And then this time
we didn't see a marlin. So you know, when you're prepared,
sometimes it ain't there happening for you. But you got
to be prepared either way.

Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:10:36):
What, it's a good pizza. While he was there, See everybody's.

Speaker 4 (01:10:42):
Betty real quick, what were you using to catch the yelephant?
Was it butterfish?

Speaker 38 (01:10:47):
So we were chunking butterfish and caught one of them.
Chunking butterfish and sardines, but he ate a live spot
and then which again, I mean, I stood up to
a spread up here. I would fit tune a fish
at home. And that's that's when we caught the fish
on the trunk. And as far as the troll, you know,

(01:11:07):
these guys had their they had like four spreader bars
out and then I put out like three or four
ballet who went to the surface and one of them
came off one of their spreader bars.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
All right, man, are you are you still a Jersey Betty?
Are coming back soon? Yeah? I'm still here.

Speaker 38 (01:11:21):
I'm on the Jersey shore looking down the canal right now.
The sun's coming up over the water.

Speaker 6 (01:11:25):
It's beautiful view.

Speaker 38 (01:11:27):
And yeah, I'm gonna start my journey back home soon.
I drove my truck up here, so I'm kind of
just going back on my own time.

Speaker 3 (01:11:32):
You know, Are you going into a Jets game there, Benny?

Speaker 38 (01:11:36):
I mean, truthfully, now that I stayed this long, I
looked online. The tickets for the three hundred levels are
only like one hundred bucks. If I wanted to splurge,
I could sit in a good seat for like four
or five. So I think I might stick around one
more day and go tomorrow. Yep, all right, Benny, not Joe.
You know, I go, I go to my team's game.

Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
Shot at Joe Man. We almost get even hel Betty
hey Man, welcome back when you get back down it
with a fresh tuna. Can't wait to try that. I'm
just hint, hint, and thank you Betty always bringing a
strong brother.

Speaker 38 (01:12:08):
Thanks brother anytime.

Here's there a Brandon and Joe Hectare.

Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
Baggage show is going on a Saturday morning. Here nineteen
years talking fishing on night forty w I and Z
and Facebook Live. It's a great nightteen.

Speaker 3 (01:16:22):
I got a question about that, yo. You said twenty
how many years now? Nineteen nineteen, but you the show
didn't originally wasn't originally on Wednesday, wasn't on Quam before?

Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
No, it was on the QQ back this day.

Speaker 3 (01:16:34):
It was on the queue Quam. Okay, And then you
went over to.

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
We went over there to here on nine forty one. Okay, cool,
gotta go. Bought the show and they brought us over
to nine forty and here we are ever since. Wow,
so Fitty Sacks on the YB dorm. We'll taught us
a brand new word last week, Joe yep that a
big fish is called a unit. And I'll never forget
that word the rest of my life. I bought a boat,
I'll be like, hey man, this shit a big unit,
and I'd be able to be like a brilliant ball

(01:17:01):
informed guy. You do that voice too, got Hey man,
I got a unit over. It looks like he's like
a pirate.

Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
That looks like this green machinie has is a big
unit as well.

Speaker 2 (01:17:11):
Vinnie, good one to you, buddy boy to the show.

Speaker 24 (01:17:13):
Here, Hey, Vinnie, Hey, what's happening you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
Not a whole lot. It's been a really fun, interesting,
jam packed show here my friend. But I saw I
supposed this week. You guys are always looking up. Man,
it did great on your boat.

Speaker 24 (01:17:29):
It's been uh, it's been decent, seems like right now.
The last few days been like Wahoo or bust on
the troll. Not really much else happening. A couple of
small barracudas and stuff like that. Amber Jack fishing has
been good this week. Thought a couple of nice ones.

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
I'm glad you brought that up, Vinnie, because I saw
those ajs I said, you said a couple of texts
like come on, man, pass that rod to somebody else
because that's going to break my back. Now, you didn't
say you usually electric a lot, right.

Speaker 24 (01:17:59):
I was fair for myself personally, I'm using an electric
but with the customers and no, Sarah, you're real and
I'm in by yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
Heck yeah, oh like a real man would like that.
Done that today. Gotta do it yourself. If nobody's ever
caught an AJ and I'm sure video will tested this
and Joe as well. They are one of the hardest
pully just they call them brief talkies for a reason. Yeah,
they don't want to come up, and they will fight
your ass the entire time, man, right, I mean really seriously.

Speaker 24 (01:18:28):
Yeah, it's definitely one of the hardest fighting fish that
we could catch out here. That's one hundred percent for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
Man. They are just they literally could hurt you. Admit power,
man power. So besides the AJ's scattered, I saw some
couple of banita maybe on the boat, and maybe a
couple of kings. What else were you getting another.

Speaker 24 (01:18:48):
Couples the benitas. They aren't as thick as they were
like last week and the week before. They kind of
settled down maybe like two or three a trip, And
like I said earlier, a lot of there's ben wahoo around.
It's just if you can get lucky or not.

Speaker 4 (01:19:04):
Okay, Jorge White, you up, man any any size to
these wahoo Vinnie that you're hearing.

Speaker 24 (01:19:10):
They seem to all be around twenty five pounds. It's
crazy because the ones you've been catching, they've been hitting,
like when you get the bite, you swear it's way
bigger than it is. I don't know, maybe they're just
really angry or something. Oh, they've been hitting super hard
and pulling a lot of line, and you run inside
you've got the bigger gap and see the fish. It's
twenty five pounds. Like, what the heck?

Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Yeah, that's weird, Vinny with that big green yby normal
boat you've got. You ever find a casual fishermen say hey,
I got a fight. I got us like a pro
I'm follow him where he's going. You ever followers kind
of shadow your boat out there?

Speaker 24 (01:19:46):
Yeah, that was happening a lot when the snowy groupers
were open year round. I used to catch a lot
of them, and I have a lot of people, you know,
slide by me real quick and try to grab a spot.

Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
Oh sneaking in on Vinnie. Huh, it might have been Eric.
That wasn't made Joe, come on, man, I never know,
but it is notoriously prevalent where a lot of the
boats will like shadow a pro guy's boat and hang out,
especially like Mahi.

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
Maybe, sure, Vinnie, if you see somebody following in your boat,
can you like throw out old anchor line and maybe
hope that it gets caught in their proper or something.
It just like to slow them down.

Speaker 24 (01:20:20):
Mass mean, I mean you could do that it's probably
not right, but you could do that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
Probably not right. That would be a bad day with
the lower units gone because of anchor rope getting into
the profit and seizing up the shaft. It would be
bad anyway, I had that today, Vineo, what do you
have buddy?

Speaker 24 (01:20:39):
Yeah, we got a morning trip four hours this morning.
Will probably go on the troll. See we can get
that lucky wahoo and not able to do some bottom
fishing and some snappers or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:50):
One last question, is a word unit applied to every
large fish or just towards uh wahoo?

Speaker 24 (01:20:57):
We'll see an amber jack is a different type of unit.
That's a more denser unit.

Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
Oh, shed actually add words of the word unit, so
it could be a denser unit, Joe, could it be?
Could be a massive unit. I can just add adjectives
to the word. Sure, I'm asking the captain. He's the pro,
not mean obviously.

Speaker 24 (01:21:15):
So that's right. You can make it any kind of
unit you want.

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
There you go, Eric, just catch one. That's that's me.
Think it's good a unit? All right? Many a fish
on your boat. Man, give us your contact information again,
my friend, please.

Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
He again.

Speaker 24 (01:21:28):
Look it's up on social media at yb normal sport
fishing and you can give us a phone call direct
at nine five four.

Speaker 2 (01:21:38):
Nny, thanks so much. Man, you're getting strung every week
and then I follow you like crazy. You got social media,
so just bang a great job. You got serious cred
and keep that green machine going, my friend, good stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:21:47):
And real quick, Vinnie the yellow tails. Uh, it's still
pretty good, right.

Speaker 24 (01:21:52):
It's and it hasn't been that good.

Speaker 39 (01:21:54):
Oh, really fun.

Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
Got a few the other day. Yeah, but I guess
the current, right you're saying you got as a public.

Speaker 24 (01:22:03):
Yeah, there's been no current down here at least maybe
you know, up north it's been a little different or
further south, but right out front of for whatever there,
it's been like no current. And also, oh I've been
messing around with that.

Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
Okay, thank you of any thanks buddy.

Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
All right, check out in my unit.

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
Let's see, Johnny. Johnny to Bill the man, I think
it's back in town. Joey's bec golf for a couple
of weeks. Yeah, I'm prepared for this big wedding coming
up here soon. Yeah, what's up, Johnny boy, Good to you.

Speaker 23 (01:22:34):
Hey, Johnny, good morning guys. It's uh, you know, it's
nice to be home and be fishing in my home waters.
And uh, we did plenty of that in the last
whatever ten days since I've been back. So lots of
lots of opportunity this time of the year. You know,
it's if you can get out early, beat the heat.

(01:22:56):
There there's a lot of opportunity to get out and
have some good fishing, you know, good fishing times this
time of the year. As the seasons start to change,
as we you know, start to get into more of
that fall pattern.

Speaker 2 (01:23:09):
And the next month, you know, it's it's it's.

Speaker 23 (01:23:13):
Gonna be a lot better. It'll be a lot more
pleasant to fish as well.

Speaker 2 (01:23:16):
After taking that break, you're out of town for a
couple of weeks whatever, so it's kind of like nice
to get back on the water. That first trip back.
You feel kind of like energized and juice. You've taken
a nice break and you're arrested. It feel like great
back of the water again.

Speaker 23 (01:23:28):
Oh man, it's it's it's always nice to take a break,
but it's always nice to go back to your normal routine.

Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
And I love it, man.

Speaker 23 (01:23:37):
I you know, I beat my alarm clock up when
I'm getting up most days to get in the truck,
load the boat up and go. So it's you know,
it's it's uh, I don't know, there's there's not really
a good word that I can think of right now
for me to describe it.

Speaker 17 (01:23:55):
It's just exciting.

Speaker 23 (01:23:56):
You know, You're you're getting out where you haven't fished,
you know, where you are normally fishing, and you haven't
fished there in a couple of weeks, and you get
back on the water and it's just like, what's gonna
happen today? You know, Am I gonna catch them at
the same spots I got them before I left?

Speaker 2 (01:24:13):
Or am I gonna have to go move around?

Speaker 23 (01:24:15):
So subsequently I had to move around a lot because
Lake Ida is that ever changing lake. Those fish are
always on the move because they have a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:24:26):
Of pressure on them.

Speaker 23 (01:24:27):
And thankfully, you know, everybody does catch and release, well
everybody that that guides out there anyway does catch and release,
so that population should be around for a long time,
you know, And and obviously the fish get weary. They
they learn they've probably learned more in the ten in

(01:24:48):
the last ten years than they've you know, learned in
the last one hundred years, just because the technology has
gotten better, people are better at catching them using live bait.
You know, all all of those you know, little nuances combined.
So there's plenty of fish out out on the lake.
And you know it's funny. You just you kind of

(01:25:11):
move around and move around. You find one spot that's
holding twenty fish, you just freaking sit there and just
whack them for you know, thirty forty minutes. Then you
go on about your day and you know, you go
do something else.

Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
Do you really believe that fish have a brain that
they've seen lures come out of so many times, are
actually getting smarter about evading you know, lures and bait
they've actually been trained or tell their buddies, I mean
they all I think.

Speaker 23 (01:25:41):
I don't know, man, I think maybe a couple of
different things. I think that when a fish is around
big schools of live bait all the time, like Lake
Ida has a big school, or it's got a big
shad population. And then you take somewhere like where you know,

(01:26:02):
down in Miami, maybe like Miami Lakes area, where there's
not a lot of bait in the water, and you
throw a jerk bait or a bucktail jig, those fish
are opportunists. They are going to take advantage of the
opportunity that has been placed in front of them to eat.
And I think the reason why the fish on Lake

(01:26:23):
Ida are harder to catch with artificial is because they're
used to seeing those live baits day in and day out,
and when you present a lure, it's just something totally
different that they've never seen before.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
I feel bad for Johnny Joke because I've been showing
him videos. I just could like blow him up. Now, Hey, Johnny,
look at me. Man at red white jig is producing
peacock again. I can't get these fishes not hit it again.
And I'll just shoot him a video. He used to
reply the last time I sent one to him, he
never said a word back. So I'm just I gotta
stop blowing up his phone with my damn you know
peacock bass photos. You know?

Speaker 3 (01:26:57):
Yeah, Johnny, does he touch you at twelve one o'clock
at night like us?

Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
Or is he? Is this the same fish? Eric? We
need to get Johnny answer the question. Jesus. Yeah, go ahead, Johnny.

Speaker 23 (01:27:09):
I love seeing people catch fish, if it's a mangrove
snapper or a swordfish and everything in between. A bluegill
or a ten pound largemouth bass. I want to I
love when people send me pictures because they're they're getting
out and just doing it. You know, they're not sitting

(01:27:29):
in front of their TV and you know, just wasting away.
They're outside, they're catching fish, They're you know, they're just
doing it. And I I appreciate when people send me photos.
And I don't know why I didn't see that last photo,
but I'll definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:27:45):
Have to go back and look. You probably confused it
with the same No. No, here's the thing, Johnny's. Johnny's
point is he likes people out there catching fish using lures,
not people who are sucking up with you know, typical
you're candy Joey that you always toss out and never
ever use a lure to save your butt. Okay, because
you have those skills the lure. You could even work

(01:28:06):
a jerk bait if if it jerked you. Okay, wow, okay,
Red the bo he the box even learn how to
use the damn jerk bait. Okay, can you hear this guy?

Speaker 28 (01:28:15):
Unbelievable?

Speaker 23 (01:28:16):
You know, I make my living, you know, catching live
bait and using it for my clients. And there's this
stigma in South Florida where it's like, if you catch
a peacock on a live bait, it doesn't count. And
I disagree because I've felt some really big peacocks, and
I've booked a lot of trips, you know, using live bait,

(01:28:38):
and I don't really get any complaints. And people will
come out and be like, oh no, I am an
elitist fisherman. I only need fish artificial, artificial for They'll
throw artificial for about the first thirty minutes of the trip,
and if they only get one or two bites, they're like, hey, how.

Speaker 17 (01:28:56):
About that live bait you got back there.

Speaker 2 (01:28:59):
I will say this, Johnny, I will never bug you
for a live bait. If I can't catch your artificial,
I will just stop fishing and cry, my way, I
am not throwing out.

Speaker 3 (01:29:08):
I don't believe that.

Speaker 2 (01:29:11):
I'm not doing that, Joe, anything backfire. I'm not going
to throw a live bait. Okay, fine, Why I like
to show my skills working God one of those like
Florida every like Johnny, chicks have a technique, your skills
to the people on my fishing, We're supposed to have fun.

Speaker 4 (01:29:32):
My neighbors, Johnny it's all about having fun with your friends, family, and.

Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
Such a spinster you really are.

Speaker 17 (01:29:40):
It's both you guys are both right. It's about having.

Speaker 23 (01:29:44):
Fun and it is about doing what makes you happy.

Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
And for me, I go through phases. I have fishing.

Speaker 23 (01:29:52):
I call it fishing a d d For a whole month,
I'll throw a fly rod for a whole month, I'll
throw a bait cast with a jerk bait. And for
a whole month I'll throw a spinning rod with a
little itty bitty tiny bait on it. And if I
can catch fish on all those and you know, and
then still go run.

Speaker 23 (01:30:14):

sense where it's like, oh I am only a fly
fisherman or I am only an artificial fisherman. I just
want people to have fun, you know, and if they
can do that.

Speaker 21 (01:30:37):

Speaker 17 (01:30:55):
I am doing.

Speaker 23 (01:30:56):
I am taking full advantage of our fishery and you know,
and I'm not really exploiting it like I used to,
which is good.

Speaker 17 (01:31:04):
It needed a little break.

Speaker 23 (01:31:06):
But you know, I am not the one that's gonna
point fingers and say, oh, you're not a real fisherman
if you don't use a fly or artificial.

Speaker 2 (01:31:15):
Man, Johnny, we're leading to break here, man, But thanks

Speaker 2 (01:36:10):
Good morning. See you. So I had to happily brag

Anyway, Jed, I'm looking for her pictures she was fishing.

Speaker 2 (01:36:38):
What that was actually an old photo of the wahoo,
But it's such a great photo. I thought back about
a lot. Here we have a picture of you, Jed.
We're using on the show here today of you and
a wahoo back in the day. Where was that fish caught?

Speaker 24 (01:36:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 46 (01:36:50):
I think that was caught right off of Miami.

Speaker 17 (01:36:52):
I think that was with the qualifier, wasn't it.

Speaker 39 (01:36:54):
I think it was.

Speaker 2 (01:36:55):
Oh, Trey Closs's boat and Terry Class family. Yeah, I
think we actually fished that day, did wait together?

Speaker 39 (01:37:03):
I think so?

Speaker 2 (01:37:04):
That was aways so much fun fishing with them. They're
a great family. They're great family. What a great boat
they're Viking They've got You were there, I was there
talking about schull wrought fishing man, My god, gorgeous anyway, John,
Heat wave after day after day here, it's just been
miserably hot and the afternoon storms blow up and the
sky's light uper What is we saw for more this weekend?

(01:37:25):
I hope not. Maybe, Yeah, I.

Speaker 47 (01:37:27):
Think it's gonna be a little similar.

Speaker 46 (01:37:29):
You have eighty percent chances of storms today, Pioneer eighty
seven southwest winds five to ten seas around two feet
inner coastal water is a light chop. On Sunday, eighty
percent chances of showers once again oh eight south winds
five to ten sees less than two.

Speaker 39 (01:37:45):
Feet inner coastal water is a light chop.

Speaker 2 (01:37:47):
And then the Keys today seventy.

Speaker 46 (01:37:49):
Percent chances of showers and storms otherwise partly sunny with
a eighty five south southwest winds there ten not seas
around the foot their sure water is a light chop.
And then and tomorrow and the teas sixty chance of
showers and storms partly sunny, highar eighty six south southwest
winds near five knots, seas around the foot near shore
waters smooth. And then in Bortivate today south to southwest

(01:38:13):
winds their tennos bay waters are light chopped, numerous showers
and storms.

Speaker 39 (01:38:18):
Tomorrow about the.

Speaker 46 (01:38:19):
Same south southwest near five months baywater food with storms.

Speaker 2 (01:38:23):
So I heard, I heard storms. So the entire report
you just gave ORMs and more Raine.

Speaker 3 (01:38:30):
There isn't there's an elephant in the room that we're
all seen. You know where I'm going is the fifty
chance of possible something?

Speaker 46 (01:38:43):
Yeah, Well, yesterday it was like sixty to seventy percent, so.

Speaker 47 (01:38:46):
It has decreased a little bit in the probability of developing.
But were next storm, And it's interesting the models are
all over the place with not only how strong it's
gonna get, but also where it's gonna go.

Speaker 46 (01:38:59):
So right now, if there's no way to know exactly
where that thing is going to go or if it's
going to be a storm at all, and if it is,
how strong it's gonna be, so good question mark.

Speaker 3 (01:39:09):
So not worth stressing at this time. Just keep informed,
right eye.

Speaker 46 (01:39:15):
If anyone tells you they know where it's going.

Speaker 2 (01:39:17):
Their life will take. Gents word for don't pani, she says,
until just panic. We don't. Don't listen to home depot.
Thank you very much, Thank you, Jen, have a great weekend.
Thanks so much. As always, we appreciate you. Thanks Jen.
Thank you. Let's go the key, shall we Let's go?
We got our hot rocket hot talking on the only

(01:39:38):
legendary Skip Braandean, Skip you on the air bow ship.
We're here, buddy live, Hello, Skip, he's got turned radio off.

(01:40:01):
I think he's having a chit chat with the buddy
of the boat. There is what he's doing right now. No,
that's I heard you. Oh really, yeah, we should hear
more of myself. That sounds great. Skiff you on the
phone or what may worry it?

Speaker 6 (01:40:13):
Buddy, Yeah, I'm on the phone.

Speaker 20 (01:40:15):
I listened to delay. I guess I had my radio
on in the truck. Comes in better in the truck
that is going to my house, and yeah, good morning everybody.
How are you doing?

Speaker 5 (01:40:24):
Great?

Speaker 17 (01:40:24):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:40:25):
Man? So, uh talk about your week and the Keys.
What's what's happening there down there down that way.

Speaker 5 (01:40:33):
Again to what Sagan he's Eric said, what's been embity?

Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
She said, what's happening in the Florida Keys? Skipper Rony,
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 20 (01:40:42):
That's quiet down here, like it is on all the
East Coast. It sounds like, oh sure, I don't know
about the lakes and a whole, but it's quiet. And
the business quiet too. Always have to have to labor day.
Business is quiet, and that's what it is. So getting
a few boats out the routine right now on the
Florida Keys, lease stop him a lot. I don't know
about the rest of the Keys, but we stopp and
it's the Live Bay Quota Cigar metal. We got these

(01:41:02):
new hoop that's sicked about it called bally hoop. Boy,
what and that it is? It's and do you hold
of it? The balue hoop? Yeah, awesome, unbelievable new invention.
I've been since I've been retired, a couple of new
things that come out. That's a new one. And we
put the bally hoop down there, we pull up shake
the chump bag and they pull it quickly. And then
you take the cigar medals, put them in the well

(01:41:23):
and so you got yourself covered. You want to catch
one hundred two hundred, some guys want to catch five
thousand out of the why But anyway, we try and
catch enough necessary, but not enough so many it won't
be any there for tomorrow. But we head offshore, go
to the amoraa the four or nine humps or the
mouth On Hump. We don't do that. I don't do
that from here with mauth On they do. And I'm
sure they have the same situation with the bait you

(01:41:43):
catch up to now the live bay too. The only
about ten They can be any size of which I
think they should change that, or they should be something
better than longer than a football to keep but anyway,
that's it. And then they bite, and they have been
biting for the last month or so, and that's real
good news. So now you got yourself somewhat covered. You
got live noel face, you find the mahi you got,
you got the tuna fish in the box or something

(01:42:04):
people can chew on, and then you make a decision.
Am I gonna take a ride off shore from the
seamounts if it's Amora or the four or nine. You're
gonna go out and the peak and see if you
find that magical piece of debris. And I say magical
because all debris is not magical. I'm gonna tell you
a story, not this week, but I'm gonna give you
next week. We talked about the well last week. I'm
gonna tell your story next week. I was thinking, if

(01:42:26):
I forgot about it, you're gonna love it. So anyway,
we go up there and decide to go out there
find a magical piece of debris or not. If you
do all right, you might have a home run and
catch enough my hea for everybody to be happy. And
if it's not happened that way, and we turn around
and troll back to the reef and fishing ninety one
hundred foot of water and catch the yellow tail. Yellow
tell are very very very steady right now They're not

(01:42:46):
as big as they once were, but nothing is. But
they would catch the yellow tail the legal size and you.

Speaker 5 (01:42:51):
Got your day.

Speaker 20 (01:42:51):
So you got your tuna. You might have found some
mahi or not, and you got your yellow tailer. That's
a programing. Now I'm on charter book charter book business.
How we this area for a day's fishing?

Speaker 2 (01:43:02):
Skip talking about non magical debris. There's nothing really in
my lifetime. I'm actually rolled by a red solo cup
after floating the Ghos stream. A red solo cup and
that hit by my heat. Weird random man, I mean,
Skip so.

Speaker 20 (01:43:20):
Tiring that that's why he wasn't looking at that red
solar being He wouldn't just stop it for a drink.
I mean he just happened to be I wouldn't get
red solo cups that incredibility out there. I don't worry
about that day.

Speaker 3 (01:43:33):
I have a question for Skip talking about red solo cups.
What kind of coffee you use? You drink Cuban coffee
in the morning, and what what's your favorite coffee.

Speaker 20 (01:43:42):
You guys have slept it up. I drink attitude. I
just I drink a just bit in life, and I'm
pumped up. Birday Tuesday, eight Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, so.

Speaker 3 (01:43:53):
You said, you know you have no coffee in the morning, skip,
no coffee at all.

Speaker 20 (01:43:59):
I want pretty strong This morning I got to sit
right next to me, is pretty much empty. I ate
a banana. That's my breakfast, and then I go to work.
I'm working on my backyard right now, but it's don Rayne.
I'm trying to get sand my death can, to varnish
it and all that. Boy, it's really keeping me away
from that. So I probably other things, but I have energy.
I don't stop. But if i'm sitting to death, I'm
reading something or something. I'm not just sitting around. I

(01:44:21):
do something all day long.

Speaker 2 (01:44:22):
I love it. I love that we should make it.
I hope you don't like that. We should have a
shirt like that. I love it.

Speaker 20 (01:44:35):
I'm going to tell you next week used up too
much time. Now I'm going to tell you a story,
a great story about something floating. Remember last week we
talked about Ronnie Bracket that way, I'm going to tell
you a story that make you gotta love it. So
as we say in the bitch, stay tuned all right
for next week show geezer the show.

Speaker 2 (01:44:49):
Yeah, the teaser made for next week. I like that. Man.
You have to thanks so much. Man, have fun. We're
going to the backyard and.

Speaker 49 (01:49:20):
This is the gohot Cycle G three.

Speaker 15 (01:49:22):
How did this electric.

Speaker 49 (01:49:23):
Bike fit into a treasure chest? Because it folds down
to be able to fit. The pieces are removable to
make the got Cycle G three perfect to throw into
any car on the go and never have to worry
about using a bike rack again. The electric Gocycle G
three is the perfect toy for someone who wants to
get outside for a nice bike ride without bringing us swat.
You can hit up to twenty miles per hour on
this and bite comfortably up to forty miles per charge.

(01:49:44):
If you're the kind of person who wants to be
doing long distance bike rides, past the distance and fear,
oh no, the battery's gonna die on me, don't worry.
The bike can also be used as a regular bike
to keep you going when you get home, throw the
bike on the charger and three and a half hours later,
go again. Go back another forty min come on, just
come home, charge, repeat as much as your little teeny
heart can desire. Why not use those three and a

half hours of charging time for the go Cycle G
three to try qualifying for a marathon by running it

For the plot, which speed are you maintaining on your bike?

Speaker 41 (01:50:18):
Ride?

Speaker 49 (01:50:18):
The gohot cycle G three comes with a three speed
eternally geared hub with electric shifting. The bike automatically shifts
between three speed gear settings to get the best pedal
assists you need based off of your pedaling speed.

Speaker 11 (01:50:30):

pest stealing them.

Speaker 2 (01:50:47):

see you back again and next Saturday from six to
eight am.

Speaker 2 (01:51:20):
That to me is one of the coolest toys wh've
hed on a toy chest, that Gohost cycle. Yeah, you've
been in the showroom back in the day, right I
wrote it. Yeah right, And that thing is like super speedy,
very cool, falls up in the back of your car
and your trunk. Yeah, has a great battery life.

Speaker 6 (01:51:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:51:34):
I'm a big fan of e bikes. I got on myself.
I've actually crashed on it, broke my ribs on No, yeah,
that's how I broke my ribs. That was the e
bike bike. Yeah, yeah, how did you crash it? There?
I had a couple of martinis leaving uh I placed
on Amazonia on Main Street, Miami, lakes and drove off,
hammered and hit a pothole and what shout in there
right on my ribs.

Speaker 3 (01:51:55):
Was the bike?

Speaker 2 (01:51:56):
Okay, bike, the bike survived. I really got home anyway.

Speaker 3 (01:52:01):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (01:52:01):
But that's a very cool toy. But again, if you
go by there and check them out, man, they got again.
They got the other water, great toy, blue Nimu diving
system out there, that special hydrofoil jet thing, Joe.

Speaker 3 (01:52:12):
And they also have the lovely.

Speaker 2 (01:52:14):
Tenders, tenders, the high field tenders are out there. You've
got the Vision Marine electric motors right out there carrying
these days acts of pars and edged waters and just man,
you can spend a whole week out there just shopping
around and goofed off and the yas and the yaks,
lots of toys. Just bring the check book, well, don't
be writ to check anymore. Bring your plastic, okay, bring

(01:52:36):
your zell anyway, So it's been a great show. I
think the word wrap up on the program is fishing,
but scattered as we Joe, yeah big, there's still swingers
out there right yeah, moderate wahoo were caught nothing massively,
no units as we called it last week.

Speaker 4 (01:52:53):
I feel like rainy season that's normally in June July
has now been pushed to August September.

Speaker 2 (01:53:01):
Yeah, doesn't it feel that way? I feel like the
monster oyo. I hadn't whack though. Yeah. We talked about
not getting tuna like this time of the year because
they're usually earlier in the year.

Speaker 5 (01:53:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:53:10):
They're biting all your round now, Yeah, which is weird.
That's weird. He goes changing for the wahoo bite in
the winter time has been on fire. We learned about
clams and shrimp getting along with bouncer this morning.

Speaker 4 (01:53:20):
And we learned about clams and shrimp how they coexist, symbiotic,
symbiotic relationship.

Speaker 2 (01:53:27):
Very educational program today, Yes, sir, Yes, So you're gonna
go coaching me with some soccer right now, right, Yeah,
