Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wednesday, ninety six point on The Cat's Gramby and Sarah
Lee got a great day plan for you.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Well, Firsus hump Day. We have put you through the week.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Mike, Mike, that's right. We do have a ton of
things to give away today.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
We have Greenville Music Festival passes one thousand dollars and
take us to our Rising Stars concert.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Keep us locked. We are going party all morning long.
It's going to be a great day. Thank you for supporting.
Ninety six point nine The Cat and graham By and
sarahly whats the Caroline is talking about today?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Sarah Lee's top three is hump Day. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
You're getting better at that.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
One day I'll be as good as you grandbe. Today
is going to be gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
It won't feel like fall high of eighty one.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
And something you should know before you go if you
are flying American Airlines, they've changed their bag policy. They're
eliminating the backsizers at the airport gates. They're trying to
expedite the boarding process. And also, if you remember back
in April, we told you that if you are a
part of the American Airlines rewards program starting in January,

(01:11):
so just a few months away. You're gonna be able
to get free Wi Fi during flights.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Oh that's nice. Anytime you get free WiFi on any
flight is a good thing. I'm not a part of
that program, but that will make me look into it.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, it's free. It's for me and Dolly Parton. Big
prayers going out to her.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
So we know she had to cancel some upcoming concerts
due to some medical procedures she has to have. But
yesterday her sister went on Facebook and put a post
up asking for all of her fans to pray for Dolly.
She says, I truly believe in the power of prayer,
and I have been led to ask all of the
world that loves Dolly to be prayer warriors and pray

(01:49):
with me. So I'm not sure what's going on, but
I don't like the way that sounds. So big prayers
going out for Dolly because I too believe in the
power of prayer.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Now I know you do. That's gonna be a lot
of prayers because a lot of people love Dolly Parton.
And big shout out to Tim McGraw. I saw where
he was stepping up and fulfilling some of those dates
that she had to cancel, so shows will happen. Tim
McGraw is stepping in and stepping up.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
That's why I love country music.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
We all come together as a community.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
And while we're on.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
The topic of prayer, Cody Johnson needs our prayers to
He put out his statement yesterday. I don't know what's
going on in the world, but he had to cancel
the rest of his concerts for the remaining of the year.
And that's because he has a ruptured ear drum, all
due to a sinus in respiratory infection and now he
needs surgery to recover.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yeah, those remaining dates are gonna be off of the schedule,
but he's gonna get better. We're gonna get him back,
and it's gonna be a great twenty twenty six because
you know that he's writing right now. I'm in the
studio writing. Let's go all right, coming up? Have you
ever had to or do you believe in blocking an X?
We are gonna discuss in the seven o'clock hour run

(02:56):
around seven to twenty is blocking an X sound off?
It's Grammy and Sarah Lee on ninety six point nine.
The cat Trigger treaters Beware, Take one and keep it moving.
It's ninety six point nine. The cat. The Halloween spirit
is in full effect.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
You know the families they leave the bowl of candy
on the front porch and just go by the everybody's
gonna do the right thing and just get a couple
pieces of candy.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Now you can make sure they follow the rules.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Ring Doorbell Camera has come out with this Halloween bowl.
It has a camera attached to it and it's disguised.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
You can get five different things.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Like a cat, a pumpkin, whatever, and it watches guard
over your candy bowl.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Be honest, when you were trick or treating and you
went up to those homes that said take one and
keep it moving, only took one. Only took one.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Yes, I was terrified, But now could you imagine how
much fun it would be because on ring I think
you can.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Talk to me. You definitely can, because I talked to Kevin.
I have a Ring camera and I will open up
my phone, open up the app, and I will talk
to Kevin to get his reaction on Rings. So you
can definitely talked to trigger treaters that are walking up
to the house and they are not following the rules.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
The only other invention that would go hand in hand
with this that would be incredible is if you have
one of those kids that grabs the whole bowl that
there's some glitter explosion that happens poof and now you're
like full of glittering. Everybody in the neighborhood's going to
know you stole the whole bowl of candy or a
trap door.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
No, God, you come home, Hey, how's that candy down there?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
That's all you're eating tonight.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
So beware trick or treaters. If you're out and about
and there is a sign that says just take one,
you are probably being recorded, so you better follow the
rules or you will be getting a phone call from
Sarah Lee.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Everybody's watching, and then we're gonna post the video online.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yeah, speaking of online, we are discussing and this kind
of came up because something that happened in my life.
We're gonna get into it a little bit later around
seven o'clock hour, blocking an X have you ever? We're
blocked to next? Is it healthy for you? If you
do it? Do you do it at all? We discussed
during sound off seven thirty. It's ninety six point nine
the cap give me some of that. How about some

(05:11):
good news get me some of that.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Today's good news comes from our friend, retired Sergeant Derek
Deveaux out of Statesville. He shared that next Thursday, there's
a big resource fair happening at the United Methodist Church
in downtown Statesville. It's from five to eight and it's
a free event connecting survivors, veterans, caregivers and families with

(05:37):
trusted resources and local nonprofits. They also are introducing some
new initiatives. And I love this that cab so it's
transportation support. So no veteran ever misses care. And our
veterans are heroes to me. They have served and sacrificed
so much, so we should be taking care of them
as much as we can. And so here at the

(05:57):
CAT we are standing with the veterans in our community.
And make sure if you need help, go take part
in this event.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
It's free.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Highly recommend and could not say it better. Really well done.
That is some great news. Also great news, Greenville Country
Music Festival is back. Zach top Kowetsel a group that
I love. I can't rag on enough. I actually posted
something about them yesterday just because I was listening to
them muskodaim bloodline is going to be there. We are
giving you passes. During cat fight seven to ten right

(06:25):
here on ninety six point nine, the cat is Graham B. Serially,
how long should you wait before unfollowing an X on
social media? Sound off? It's Graham being Sarah Lee.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
The flour is all yours, grand fun because you're the
king of this.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Do we differ here?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Yeah, I'm friends with all my excess.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, I unfollow immediately and then most of the time
block that person so I can just continue to move
on and not look back.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Just so you know, when you block a female, it
lets us know that we won.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Of course, the power.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yeah, but the power in that is I don't care.
You can think whatever you want. Doesn't bother me none.
I only thinking about me and my health. That's all
my concern is.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Why delete them or block them just because you don't
want to see what they're doing, Because I'm like, look
at my life, I'm happy, I'm smiling, I'm unbothered.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah, I think for me, just removing that element from
my life at all. Algorithms you should follow this or
that thing touching my algorithm, I just remove it and
just keep moving forward. I'm not tempted to look at anything.
They don't exist to me, and then I can just
move on with my life, which that has been very
helpful for me anytime that I've lit that linger and

(07:38):
then sometimes it'll pop up or memories or whatever, it
seems like a setback for me. So it's just healthier
for me. It's not anything to do with spide I'm
not trying to win anything, and I could care less
what the other half of that scenario is doing. I
just need to take care of my mental health and
move forward, So it's the best choice for me. So
you block instantly, yeah, and you're right. Most of the

(07:59):
time people think, oh they block me, I won, like
they can't even see me. I'm so unbothered by this time.
I don't care what you think. I am literally only
worried about my own mental health and trying to be
the best version of myself moving forward. So if you
think you won, awesome doesn't bother me.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I definitely would be like, victory is mine.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
I'm one that dude is.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
So bothered that he had to block me because he
loves me so much. He still has feelings for me,
and that's the only way he could get over me.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, then everybody wins. Then you're happy. I'm happy. All good,
so I win win scenario.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Do you ever unblock?

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Never?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Because your page is public, so anybody you could create
a fake account, or they could go on their friends
account and see what you're doing if they really wanted to.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Right, And that goes back to the initial point. It's
not for them, it's for me, Like I just for me,
I don't want to see certain things and I think
it's healthier for me to move forward, So I make
that choice for me, and then they can. They're responsible
for their actions if they want to check out the page.
All good, you know it is what it is. But
for me, just I end up blocking and moving forward immediately,
probably done before the phone call of the breakup.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Don't make that boy mad?

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Sound off? How long do you wait before blocking X?
Or do you block an X? Give us a call?
One eight hundred five to seven zero nine six nine zero.
Sound off is Grammy and serahly Shane? What is going on?
Sound off? How long, if ever do you wait to
block an X? On socials? Now, this is just me.
If it's a sufficient breakup, I'm gonna say immediately, because

(09:30):
if you couldn't handle me at my worst, you don't
need to see me on my social media at my best.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Oh see, I.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Want you to see me at my best and hate
the fact that you're now missing out on the best
version of me.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I'll see where you're coming from, Richard Petty over there, aday.
I also love that you describe the breakup as sufficient.
Sound off? How long if ever do you wait to
block an X on socials? One eight hundred five seven
zero nine six nine zeero old sound off its gram
b and serahly, Whitney, what is good? Sound off? How

(10:04):
long if ever do you wait to block an X
on socials?

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Immediately?

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Immediately? Okay, all right, all right.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
I don't block. Just watch and see how great my
life is.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
My life was so much greater after a block.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Him preach, Whitney. That's right. Take care of your own
mental health. We appreciate you. Have a great day. Amy
from Statesville in the house.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Sound off, Hey, hey, hey, good morning, y'all calling about
the blocking or not the block?

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Yeah, please hit us?

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Okay. So I had remained preach in life and on
Facebook as well as every single except had which is
not that foot until this past here and I became
single looking in and they were hitting me up, hitting
me up, willing to come back, and so I had
to block every one.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Of the.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Well, that means they made a mistake and they're seeing
how great your life is because you did not block
your social media and now they want you back.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Well, and I feel like that really did help me
because I always felt like, you know, something was wrong
with me that they all left. And then but if
they're gonna come back, not much to do something wrong.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Nah, Amen, it ain't you and you should have blocked immediately.
Keep on living that life. Congratulations, have a go one.
Thanks for calling in sound off? How long if ever
do you wait till block an X on socials one
eight hundred and five seven zero nine six nine zero.
It's Gramby. It's early Casey from Huntersville. Please sound off?
Do you block exs or you don't?

Speaker 4 (11:37):
So it's going to depend on who broke up with
two If they broke up with me.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
As an instant block.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
If I break up with them, I keep them unblocked
because I want.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
To see if they're checking out my social media.

Speaker 1 (11:48):

Our boy, Jimmy from Lincolnton, What is good sound off?

Speaker 3 (11:56):

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Seventeen years ago.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
I've been with my wife for fifteen years.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
So uh yeah, that was an immediate block.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
You are savage, Yeah, Jimmy, is my god?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Did you just be friends with your exes?

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Just because you broke up does not mean you have
to be enemies?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
That just the person wasn't meant for the next season
of your life.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Well, so it's it's nothing.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
I mean in that case, yes it was.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
It was spiteful, but not every time had been spiteful.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
It just I'm with Graham with that. It's just moving on.
Me and Jimmy thick as thieves, all right, have a going.
I don't know if we can take the next caller
because that's the that's the name of my ex.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
It's quite responsible.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yep, Michae.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Y'all have turned into some very emotional creatures over here.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Me and women.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
You know, there's crazy ones out there. If they see
she happy, they're going to try to damage it.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
I'm gonna tell you nothing makes a woman crazier than
blocking her access to you.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
I don't want anyone.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Just It's like grimlins when you put water on them.
A Grimlin's fine, but then they get bilt your grimalin.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Actually I'm still friends with most of my exs.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
If it was toxic, then yes, my girl.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
See finally somebody who understands just because you doesn't mean
you have to hate each other exactly.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
You can still be friends and have a break up.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
That's fine, Christy. I'm so glad that you put the
town that you were calling from, because I almost blocked
this call. Don't you do that?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Christy?

Speaker 3 (14:14):
We love you and thank you for letting me know,
I'm not alone in this, and I'm.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Just not savagely not alone. Girl.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
More guys are blocking women these days.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
It's crazy, yes, because we took the higher role and
they took the lower roll now, so now the girls
are on top and the men aren't.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Amen, Christy, I'm a going all right. It's still up
on Instagram Grahamy and Sarah le Oh. I had way
more fun for this than I thought. I he do

ninety six point nine the cat Grahamy and Sarah Lee.

(14:51):
Just an amazingly smooth jump out of an airplane type
of day here in the studio god diving in real time.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
I don't know what happened, but we are having major
glitches and there is nothing that makes you feel more
helpless when you're dealing with technical issues and you're not
an engineer.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Well, I felt a crazy adrenaline rush, and I feel
like that's what you felt like when you jumped out
of that airplane.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
I think jumping out of the airplane was so much
more fun. But man, Monday, I did go out to Fayetville.
I jump with some US Army Golden Knights and a
black Dagger, which is special ops with the Army. My
husband went with me. Now this is my second time skydiving.
When I jumped out of the plane, I went into
a lot of circles, super fast and with the team

(15:38):
that jumps at every Carolina Panther home game. By the way,
my husband jumped to I get to the ground, he
looks fine. Everything is fine until we get on the
golf cart to get back to the building, when I
say he got sick all the way back in front
of everybody.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
So he had a good time, was what you're saying that?

Speaker 3 (15:59):
And you would think it would but it didn't stop.
So he gets out of his outfit, walks to the car.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
It's still going on. Graham. I'm like, how do you
have anything left in your body? In the car?

Speaker 3 (16:08):
My dad calls I'm letting him know we're safer on
the ground. Halfway back, I think it was. We got
to Monroe and he finally stopped.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Now I'm not going to derail us too much, but
I do want to say, you told me that story
and then immediately said you gotta go skydiving with me.
I'm like, right, what you just told me that your
husband got definitely.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Six Topically, I don't think you go into Tasmanian Devil's
circles like we did that day. But I do finally
have the footage and it's so much fun. I shared
it on our Instagram. So if you have a moment,
go check it out. And if you have a chance
to skydive.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Please do. And then go to a Panther home game
and shout out to the team that Johns those are
my friends.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
I'm going to piggyback that and say go to a
Panther home game. You can walk there, ride a bike,
I don't know, go on the ground and.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
You're on the all veteran group when they land ninety.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Six point nine. The Cat's ninety six minutes a non

The wildest thing you will hear today divers discover a
lost city off the coast of Egypt, perfectly preserved under

(18:49):
the sand. And you got to see photos of this now.
I loaded a bunch of the photos to Gramby and
Sarah Lee's story if you want to check this out.
The buildings and statues are the size of buildings in
New York City in Manhattan, like skyscrapers.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
What do you think happened?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Natural disaster, water, who knows, but perfectly preserved. I think
it's cool. Maybe it's Atlantis, but like there's coins. It
looks like it was an epicenter a large city. We're
not saying small, I mean a large city. They're thinking
maybe it was Atlantis.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Now are there people down there?

Speaker 1 (19:21):
There are no bodies discovered it's underwater.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Well there'd be skeletons.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Maybe that wasn't in this news story. And again I
did load the photos. When you see the scale of
some of the statues in some of the buildings, it
is wild.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Well, with global warming, maybe this is a good thing.
We'll have a whole city waiting for us.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
At the water moves. Yeah, look how big this is.
Now Again, I am showing the photo that is on
our story so you can check it out. But look
at the scale between the size of a person and.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
The suttle statue statues, I.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Mean coins treasure. Who knows what's down there the ocean.
Someone said something like, we've only discovered five percent of
what's in the ocean so far.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Leave it being undiscovered.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
I don't want to know us down there, no map
it out. I want to know. I want to see.
That is the wildest thing you will hear today. Again,
we've been talking about it. We're gonna say it again
because it's this cool. One thousand dollars every hour, starting
at nine o'clock for your pocket turn us on, get
the iHeartRadio app going it's free, and then you get
one thousand dollars on top of it. It's Graham B

(20:23):
and Sarahly ninety six point nine the Cat ninety six
point nine the Cat. I got better and you can
get better. With one thousand dollars coming up in the
next fifteen minutes.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
I've got good news.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Earlier, we shared that Dolly Parton's sister had asked all
the fans to send a prayer out for Dolly, and
I think including myself.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
It freaked everybody out.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Yeah, of course you and I said a brief prayer.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
We did, and so she has since come out and said,
I didn't mean to scare anyone or make it.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
