Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sarah Lee. Today is crazy special.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It is the biggest day my big boy Bear graduates
from elementary school. Its ghost Yes, and not only that,
this is actually the first time since he's been in
school that I've been able to attend an award show.
And I'm so thankful to you, graham Bynd because you
made this happen.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, I don't think you need to thank me I have.
I have fomo that I'm not going to be there,
but I will be cheering you guys on. I'm so
excited for you. I'm also very privy that he's called
you like seventeen times making sure that you were coming.
So held everybody. He's so excited to have his mom there.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I get wait, I'm coming Bear, It's.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Gonna be the best show. Welcome ninety six point nine
the cat. We are in the best mood. Thanks for
choosing Grahamby and Sarahly. When ghosting someone is acceptable, never now,
hear me out ninety six point nine The cat is
graham By and Sarah Lee. Ghosting is never a good practice,
except for maybe potentially in one scenario. Now.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Ghosting, if you're not familiar with the term, is when
you're talking to someone and then automatically you go silent,
You don't answer your phone calls, you just start ignoring
the person.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
So I'm gonna tell you the scenario where I feel
ghosting might be acceptable. Thank you so much to Cat Country.
In ninety six point nine the Cat I was able
to drive home, which was a very important weekend for
my family. This weekend, I was not able to do
that before I started working here, So that's a wonderful thing. Well,
I haven't been home in a long time. There's several
people in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I grew up, that

(01:30):
knew I was coming home and invited themselves to come
over when it was a weekend where I needed to
just be with my family.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
And we just came off when of the hardest work
weeks ever, we worked around the clock. You probably wanted
to sleep.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, doubles every day. So when people just invite themselves
to things way to your house right in unsolicited hanks, Hey,
well I'll just come over out of nowhere, ghosting because
I don't want to say no, I don't want to
see you.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Just say I want to spend time with my family.
You are a grown man, You can say that, don't
waste their time because it's awkward. If they show up
at the door, are you going to tell them to
go home?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Agreed? So my thing is, didja get.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Your mama to tell them to go home?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
You did? No? I ghosted. You just can go to
the door. No, I just didn't respond to the text. Ohkay.
But my question is in daily life now, the family
stuff is an easy out. Hey, listen, it's an important weekend.
We're doing stuff with the family. Give me a rain check.
But in your life, if someone invites themselves to something

(02:32):
that's not family or not an easy out, do you
ghost or do you tell them no, don't come over.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I've been guilty of it when I was in high school.
But as an adult, no, you say absolutely not. I
appreciate you thinking to me, but I've got plans.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
It's that simple. Show respect both ways. Is ghosting ever acceptable? No?
Not as adults? One eight hundred and five seven zero
nine six nine zero. It's time for it's Graham being
serly On ninety six point nine the cat Ronda from
Denver versus Kelsey from rock Hill. We are playing Catfight

(03:09):
for Outlaw Music Festival. Tickets going down at P and
C on July twenty sixth. First question, Now remember call
out your name to answer. You need three correct answers
to win. What is it called when water turns into
gas and floats into the air Kelsey Kelsey, condensation? Condensation works?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
All right.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
It's a rainy day and in North Carolina the wall
is if you're driving in the rain, this must be
on ronda headlight.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
You got it. What do you call frozen water that
falls from the sky in the winter, Kelsey, Kelsey, snow?
Snow is correct two to one. Kelsey.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
You're headed out to workers school and it's raining, so
you grab this before leaving the house. Kelthy Kelsey, da
an umbrella?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Ye got it? Do it no matter what Chelsey. Congratulations.
