it for me.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Pushed it over.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Granby and Sarahly It's ninety six point nine to.

Cat the Carolina is talking about today, Sarah Lee's top three.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
We've talked about it all morning. Tonight, Chris Stapleton is
in Greensboro. It is a sold out show, and I
don't think I've ever seen you more excited. Graham Bunn,
You've got your Chris Stapleton.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Camo had on dugged out.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
You are driving to Greensboro after the show to hang
out with you boys.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
You haven't seen him in decades.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
It's been a long time. I'm going to see Chris
Tapleton with a few friends from Appalachian State. I'm an
Appalachian State mountaineer and I'm proud of it. So looking
forward to it, and I'm so excited. You might be
doing the nine o'clock hour by yourself.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Well, you just drove to Raleigh over the weekend. You
saw Riley Green and Ella Langley. By the way, Riley
Green is going to be on the show tomorrow, so
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
I know that you're excited about this.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Dan Shake. I got to talk to him about it.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
But when you were driving home from Raleigh, did you
happen to stop buy food Lion pick up a lottery ticket?

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I did not, but I guess I should.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Have, look ause you always stop at grocery stores. That's
one thing about Grand Bun. He doesn't go through fast
food lines. He stops at a grocery store.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
To a grocery store, that's right. I love a good
grocery store.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
It's to a Food Lion. Forty miles south of Raleigh.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
Somebody bought a lottery ticket and last night they won
two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. And I'm the kind
of person I will buy those lottery tickets and never
go back and look unless somebody says, hey, there's a winner.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Well, you would have known had I won. I'm not
gonna say that. I'll just say there would have been signed.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Okay, while you're here this morning, and I thought this
was crazy. If you grew up and you saw the
movie I think it's called Child's Play. I was terrified
of that little chucky doll. I watched the movie when
I was like eight years old, been scared of it. Well,
a former Truest employee sued the bank because the manager,

(02:06):
I guess, put a check you doll in her chair.
She did not think it was funny at all, and
she took eight weeks of medical leave due to PTSD.
She said she has a fear of dolls and they
knew about it, and so now she's suffering from panic attacks.
Not funny, but she is asking for damages, back pay,

(02:26):
and to be reinstated.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
That's why I never played practical jokes. This morning, I'm.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Locking in and there's no way to see what's behind
the door, Like it is a solid door.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I'll open the doors before it's morning. Yeah, and Graham.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Is standing there in this black sweatshirt and he's like, boom.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
My soul left my body. And this is really good news.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Do Greater Charlotte awarded one hundred and sixty four thousand
dollars grant to boost youth financial litter. So this is
gonna expand over the next two years, but it will
reach over three hundred and fifty young people and creative
entrepreneurs through its creative labs, innovation hubs, and mobile creative
lab and I love that because having two little boys

(03:15):
investing in our future, in our youth, there is nothing
wrong with that.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I cannot say it any better, agreed Morgan Walland in
the news, and it is a good thing for North Carolina.
It's Graham b and Sarah Lee on ninety six point
nine The Cat So Morgan Wallin's new album has been
out for a few weeks now, and you and I
have a new favorite every week. What are you on
right now? Revelation, Revelation, You've loved that one? Well, news

(03:40):
came out about a song that I know you love
and I guessed wrong there because I thought you were
gonna say I got.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Better since you've been gone. Yes, I love that one too.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I see you dancing to that all the time. Well,
it is coming to radio. It is now being announced
it's going to be officially his next single. And when
there's thirty seven songs, that means he really believes in
this song.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
I believe this song to it gets stuck in your
head and I sing it over and over and over.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Well, the reason that it's so important and I'm so
excited is a friend of ours, North Carolina native and
Raleigh Bourne Blake Pendergrass wrote that song. He went to
Millbrook High School. My sister and I both grew up
going to Millbrook, So Raleigh in the nine to one nine.
You know, I'm very proud of North Carolina. I'm especially
proud of my hometown. I wanted to give a big
shout out to Blake Pendergrass who wrote that song. He

(04:27):
wrote it for Morgan Wallen. I got Better and it
has now officially been named a single and you will
be hearing it on ninety six point nine The Cat
because it is coming to radio and it is so good.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
So if you haven't heard it yet, you are gonna
love it.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Shout out Morgan Wallan, Shout out Blake Pendergrass, and shout
out Raleigh, North Carolina. It's ninety six point nine The Cat,
Gramy and Sarah Lee. It's ninety six point nine The Cat.
High Road Cowtzel Jesse Murphy. I wish people could see
how much you vibe when that song comes on. The
volume goes up.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
I can't wait for her album to come out.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Oh so good. You know what else? This is good.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Chris from Hickory, North Carolina, is on the line to
share some good news this morning.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
What's going on, Chris.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
He and my wife and went went out of a
vehicle for a while. We had carbrook Town.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
It has a lot of problems they Missedi knows. So
we went months with out a vehicle. And during this
whole time, the friend of mine had a second vehicle
and had been letting us use it for about four
or five months before we're able to finally get another car.
No complaints. Anytime he reached out to me, it wasn't
asking about the cars, asking.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
About how we were doing amazing.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
And he was just being graceful the whole time. When
I got up this morning, I heard you guys talking
about a guy being a really good friend, and I
wanted to make a shout out to Rick this morning.
So Rick, thank you for everything you've done for me
and my family.

Speaker 6 (05:47):
Man.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
What a blessing, and it helped you get on your feet,
and now you have your own car, and we need
more people like Rick in this world.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
You like Rick? You like Rick?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
That was I love you guys, Thank you, appreciate you

Speaker 1 (06:08):
The cat Cody from Statesville versus Alex from Denver. We
are playing for Vince Gil tickets. Now he's already in
the Country Music Hall of Fame, so it's gonna be
a great show. Chris Stapleton is playing tonight, so in
honor of that, all of these questions have to do
with someone named Chris. First question, this Chris plays Captain

(06:31):
America in the Marvel movies. Cody, Alex, Cody Kimsworth, Alex,
would you like.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
To try to see Chrismsworth Marvel movies?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Captain America in Marvel movies? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:44):
I thought it was Timsworth.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
The first question, which Chris and Captain America in the
Marvel movies. That's four you're looking at four. Captain America
is Chris Evans. That's okay.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Winnie the Pooh's Best.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Friend Cody, Cody Christopher, Yes, correct.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
This holiday lands on the twenty fifth of December every year.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Alex Christmas yay.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Correct. This artist is playing tonight and he's known for
his toughty Alex. Chris Stapleton is correct. Alex is up
two to one.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Let me think of a question. Okay, okay.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
He is a funny comedian. He was the voice of
the Zebra and Ma Agascar.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Courty Cody Chris Yes two to two which Chris is
known for starring in comedy movies and was a former

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Well, you want Today's sister, baby.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Sugar and handsome pet names that annoy you? It's ninety
six point nine, the Cat, Graham, b and Saly.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
It only annoys me. If I'm at a nice restaurant
with my husband. We rarely get to go on dates.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
So if we're really dressed up and the waitress comes
over and says, hey, what can I get you to drink?
I say water, And then she looks at my husband
and says, hey, honey, what would you like to drink?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
We didn't call me honey.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Well, that tone I think is also saying a lot.
What if the tone is taken out of it? What
if it's just a flat line, okay, honey, what can
I get you?

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Well, she didn't say, well, hey honey, what can I
get you to me?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (08:37):
So you think it's disrespectful, and I get we live
in the South.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
I've lived all over the country. I'm from the South.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I also was a waitress at Quincy's and at Chili's.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
I would never go up to a table and do
that to a couple ever.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Okay, I understand we need your opinion because I'm on
the other side of the fist as usual.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Five seven zero ninety six ninety What.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Do you think? And also, we loaded this to our socials.
I want to thank you for voting. These have been
could you get it fun? Well? No, it is nice
that our community. It makes me feel like I'm a
part of something. We're having discussions, I'm learning things. I
think it's cool.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
It's so much fun.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
But I want to present it to you this way. Graham, So,
Graham Bun I've seen all of his exes, and they're
on a scale one to ten, they're about five hundred.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
They have gorgeous personalities and very charming funny I.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Bet they do, but they're also very gorgeous ladies. And
let's say you're in Charlotte, you finally meet the girl
of your dreams, and she is the one you'll want
to take home to Mama. Bun and you are taking
her to a fancy five star restaurant.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
From your lips to God's ears, let's keep this thing going.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
And then a very handsome waiter walks up. Okay, and
he's like, hey, Broke, what can I get you to drink?

Speaker 2 (09:53):
You said water?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yeah, water, I'll go with water.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
And he gives your girl direct eye contact and says, hey, sweetheart,
what would.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
You like to drink?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Now? Is he funny in any way, shape or form.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yes, he's funny and handsome.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Anything else, we're gonna have a problem. We're trading out
waiters if he's funny.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Also, now you have a problem with the pet name.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
No pet names will bother me. But if he starts
telling jokes.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I know you well enough to know.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
If that man looks at that girl and says, hey, sweetheart,
what can I get you to drink? Grandpa does this
thing with his hands. You're very expressive, and you're gonnas
say hey, bro he slowed down with the pet names.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
That doesn't support my argument, So I'm gonna deny that.
Seven zero nine six nine zero. We want to talk
to you. Are pet names disrespectful in public spaces? Pet
names in public it's ninety six point nine the cat.
What's your name where you call him from?

Speaker 5 (10:46):
My name is Tracy and I'm calling from Hickory.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Pet names in public? Yeah, your name?

Speaker 4 (10:51):
No, not unless he's over sixty. Amen's sister, don't be
calling my man honey, baby, sweetheart.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
Not at all.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
That is for me only. All right, Well, thank you
for calling it completely.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Go ahead, I'm.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
About ninety six point ninety Cat, Hey, Sara, Lee, Jenny, Hey.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Sister, Hey Jenny. So when you are out and about,
and let's say you're in a public setting, maybe you're
at a restaurant and the waiter or waitress comes up
and addresses your significant other as some sort of pet name. Hey, babe, hey, honey, hey, handsome,
whatever they use. Does that offend you?

Speaker 4 (11:29):
No?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
No, that's one vote for me. Yay, thanks Jenny one
eight hundred and five seven zero nine six nine zero.
If you want to talk about pet names in public,
do you think it's disrespectful? Give us a call, and
if you don't, head on over to Gramby and Sarahly
on Instagram. You can vote there. The poll is up
and leave us a comment. Nice six point nine The Cat,

(11:50):
Graham b and Sarah Lee, you're out and about. You're
with your significant other. The waiter or waitress approaches your
table and addresses your date as sugar sweety babe, honey,
all of the above. Is it disrespectful or not?

Speaker 2 (12:05):
It is disrespectful. I realize we live in the South, and.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
I can't believe it's first one yes on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
We put up a poll for the first time ever.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
I'm winning seventy five percent say it is disrespectful to
your twenty five percent who think it's not.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
We are not doing so well that pole will continue
to stay in. We're doing great for the next twenty
three hours and some change. Please head over to graham
By and Sarahly if you don't follow us there already.
We do fun polls like this, We do conversations and discussions,
but also we try to post, and I'm going to
Chris Tapleton tonight a lot of content from all the
wonderful performances that we are so blessed to see, and

(12:44):
we want to continue to bring you along with us.
So please follow us along there. When you can't take
two steps without a light coming on, a beeping sound,
or being recorded, it's ninety six point nine to Cat
Graham be and Sarahly. Your property at home is Fort Knox.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Actually it's my parents house, and when my parents go
out of town, I house it. And the first second
you roll up in the driveway, you get out of
the car and you hear the sound stop. You are
currently being recorded. It is so loud it creeps me out.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
But my parents.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Don't just have security cameras outside their house like normal people.
They have security cameras in every area of the inside
of their house, in their bedrooms, plooral, the hallway. You
walk in the hallway, the hallway light comes on. Graham,
I freak out. I'm like, Dad, can you please turn
the cameras off. I feel a little bit invaded, like

(13:37):
my privacy is being invaded.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
They're listening everywhere.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
All I hear is that you want to get away
with taking all their.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Snacks, So I take that anyway. It's mom and Dad.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
That's all I hear. But you have talked about this
several times, so you're saying that you would prefer not
as many security cameras. Well.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
I feel like people are listening. I am such a
conspiracy theorist. Can I please borrow your tinfoil.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Yes, and here you go.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
I don't like that many and especially inside the house.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
That is shocking because you have a Serie friend on
your phone. You talk to your phone all the time.
Not the regerator thought about that.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Yeah, well, at least it's not a camera that can
look at me and see me and know what I'm doing.
And I mean it literally can tell where you're at
inside the house.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Safety first, and good general rule of thumb here at
Granby and Sarahle is always act as if you were
being recorded, because.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Because we are in here, there's like seven cameras pointed.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
At us, and you are out there, there's a camera everywhere.
So that is our daily life lesson of the day
from nine six point nine The Cat and Gramby and
Sarahly Grandy and Sara Lee. I'm scared to ask, what's
going on? Something that guys do that girls do not.
Is the only thing that I was told. It's ninety
six point nine The Cat.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Well, you make me laugh because you are so excited
like a kid waiting on Santa Claus. You have been
waiting on this Chris Stapleton concert in Greensboro for a month.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Yep, it's sold out and.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
You and your friends are going Your guys from app
State you haven't seen.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Them in a long time. Correct, And you're leaving right
after the show. Correct, you are already dressed for the concert.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
Dressed, I mean you've got your Chris Tapleton hat on that,
you got your Dell Senior shirt on.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Your boots are laced up. Women don't do that. I
would not come.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
To work with what I'm wearing too the concert tonight.
Only a man can get away with that.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
It is game day. I got up early, I came
to work. I got to work at three thirty this morning,
just because I wanted to make sure I got all
of my work done and I could go out and
meet my friends from Appalachian State. To say I'm excited
is an understatement.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
I can't wait to see the pictures you post on socials.
If you don't follow us, make sure you do, Grampy
and Sarah Lee.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
That's right. If you're out of the concert, say what's up?
Tag us in your videos, post some stuff for me
to paint the picture. Hearing Chris Tableton seeing fire Away
live is a top five for me, and that is
saying a lot. I cannot wait
