Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ninety six point nine to Cat Grahamby and Sarah Lee.
Sara Lee, I am in desperate need of some assistants,
help encouragement. This morning has started off rough for me.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Oh no, it hasn't. It's Hume Day.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
I didn't tell you earlier, but I'm gonna get around
to it now. So I got up, things broken in
my truck, my favorite coffee mug not available, something corracked,
my Tumblr, having problems like everything seems. I caught all
the red lights to work today, so I'm like, I'm
in fear that something bad is gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
So I'm glad that we're in studio.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
You know, I noticed you always beat me to work,
and today we showed up at the same time. And
I'm like, what happened to Graham this morning?

Speaker 1 (00:39):
So my favorite Carolina mug the handle broke off in
the dishwasher, so I had no coffee mug. I'm living
somewhere else, so I'm like sneaking around in cupboards trying
to find something to put a cup of coffee in.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Didn't go well.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
So like today's started off where I'm like, Okay, what
is gonna happen today?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Will you look amazing.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Is it short work week and we're gonna turn that
negative energy around.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
It's going to be a phenomenal day.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I brought this shirt back from La. You know, I've
been living out of trash bags. I've got four or
five new articles of clothing that I brought back from LA.
I went to La to check on my house last weekend.
So it's winning. But again, have you ever had those
mornings where it starts off that way? Yeah, I don't
like getting Okay, well let's turn it around. We do
have And again I mentioned this yesterday and it continues

(01:23):
the Panthers Ultimate Fan Experience.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
I'm loving this.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I listen anybody that reached out to me yesterday or
the day before about this. No, I am not eligible
to win, so I cannot bring you to the Panthers'
home opener against the Falcons.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Well you can, but you'll be sitting in nosebleed seas
and you're not gonna have the same experience.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Mike, you mentioned it yesterday. This experience entails so much
more than just the tickets.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Yeah, being on the field, and when you're on the field,
the players are big. But when you're standing on that
field and looking at them, You're like whoa, And you
get autographed merchandise, you get to sit in the suite.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I mean so much.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah, a lot goes into it.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
We're gonna give you more information throughout the show, plus
tickets to Outlaw Country Music Festival. Gotta be a great Wednesday.
It is a holiday week, so hopefully it's rolling along
for you. Thank you for choosing Gramby and Sarahly. It's

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Your Fourth of July plans may have changed? What to
the Carolina is talking about today? Sarah Lee's top three.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
If you have plans to hang out on Late Norman
for Fourth of July, I am so sorry to be
the bearer of bad news, but a lot of those
events have been canceled, all due to the toxic algae blooms.
Now they suggest avoiding swimming, voting, jet skiing, or wading
through the water just because of the algae. They don't
want you to ingest the water or even let pets

(02:48):
are children near it. You know, pets, it's hot outside,
they start drinking it. I don't like Algae blooms and
I don't like that it is messing up the four.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Well, if anybody cancels on you invite you boy, because
Algae can't hold me down before Yes, I will test me.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
And this is amazing news if you are a North
Carolina public school teacher. Governor Josh Stein has now made
North Carolina a cell phone free zone in public schools,
so teachers can start next year knowing they don't have
to compete with social media for student attention. I think
this is a great thing. So many kids start hallway

(03:26):
fights and all this drama so they can have the
next viral sensation.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
So yay, way to go. This is great news for
the teacher.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah. Shout out to all the teachers heroes in my book,
and special shout out to my sister who's also a teacher.
Love you so much, Melinda, I know you're listening.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Thank you, Melinda.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Congratulations. Just one less distraction than your job, which is
really cool.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yes, because they deal with so much.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
And I also think they need to pay raise while
we're at it. And big thank you to the Morrisbool
Police Department. They have been handing out bicycle helmets to
children in the area.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
They did it all weekend long.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Making sure while kids are out on summer break they're
staying safe. So big thank you to our police department
in Moresmall.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah, shout out salute to all the men and women
in blue. We appreciate and love everything that you do
for us and our community. All Right, something that you
will love Outlaw Country Music Festival tickets free. Bob Dylan,
Willie Nelson, a slew of other talented artists that I'm.

Speaker 3 (04:22):

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Turtles, Trampled by Turtles is gonna be there, Charles Wesley
Godwin just so much. We'll give you a little bit
more information on some of those artists that are playing,

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yes, I love that song.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
And with Fourth of July weekend coming up, if you're
shooting on fireworks, you better find those back roads.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
That's right, got us to think.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
And you and I have been sharing memes, which all
good friendship to do, one hundred memes a day. We've
set the same meme to each other several times this week.
And we gotta find that video and post it the
back it up Terry.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
With them back it up I posted every fourth of
July because it is my favorite video. Do you know
they sell fireworks? Now, back it up, Terry fireworks.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
I did not, So anyone that does not know or
is not familiar with this.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Video, we got to post it on social.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
We're gonna post it to gran B and Sarah Lee.
But one, be careful, be safe with fireworks. They're dangerous,
Yes they are. And just ask Terry. Terry got caught
up in some fireworks. Now it is humorous in nature
now knowing you say, right, But the underlying theme and
moral of the story is, and you don't need to
hear this from us, but we care about you.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Be careful with the fireworks.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
You always hear horror stories about fireworks and people getting hurt.
We do not want anyone to get hurt.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
And back it up, Terry, Back it up, Terry got to.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Get that posted. Good news, mister Corey Kent.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
That is officially your second number one record in country music,
and you're very first as a solo writer. So Corey
kn't doing big things. That song is this hard. It's
graham By and Sarah Lee and there's never a bad
time to share good news.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
My heart is exploding Graham Vine.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Cannapolis.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Woman Velvet Berlin, she's hit some hard times and she
have been on the street for four months, sleeping wherever
she could. The shelters that were available turned her down
because she had a tiny fifteen year old dog named Sissy,
and they wouldn't take.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Her in because of the dog.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
And of course you're not gonna leave your dog behind
that you've had for so.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Long, of course, and that's when.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Miss Velvet ran into a guardian angel named Donna Taylor.
She runs eat Cakes Bakery and downtown Cannapolis. Definitely support
this business if you can. She started a fundraiser to
help Velvet and Sissy. They raised sixty five thousand dollars.
So then Velvet got Sissy checked out that they went

(07:01):
house shopping. Story gets even better. So she sees the house.
The man was going to sell the house but when
he heard about Velvet Story, he decided to offer her
the house as a rental at a discounted price.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
She's so excited, she said.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
It even has a dishwasher, and now she is also
being enrolled in financial classes so she can stretch that
money as long as she can.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
I'm not crying. You're crying.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I know I was.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
When I saw it.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I knew I was in trouble because this morning, Sarah
Lee is doing research for the show. We get in
here early and we try to make sure that we
put together the best show possible for cat Country.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
And all I heard was oh, oh, oh.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Yeah, all the good news story is gonna be good today,
and it was, well, good on you Angelo for Midland.
Kathy from Maxville. We are playing for Outlaw Country Music Festival.
Tickets now. Outlaw Country Music Festival was invented in the US,
so in honor of the fourth of July right around
the corner. All the questions revolve around things that were
invented in the United States. First question, what flying machine

(08:02):
did the Right brothers invent?

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Kathy airplane? Airplane is correct.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
I didn't realize this was made in America, but this
toy is a round disc you can toss to your
dog or a Frank Tanglia Kathy Frisbee.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Yes, Frisbee is correct one to one.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
What life saving American invention helps rescue people in a
fire and it keeps really loud Tangla smoke detector. That
is correct. We would have also accepted fire alarm.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
What kind of American invented card company made the model?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
T Kathy Chandla Kathy Ford. It is correct two to two.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
One more correct answer, and somebody's going to more wondering
who won catfight?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Well, I am so sorry. I am terrible at this board.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Oh you're amazing at this board. And this is what happens.
This is a live show, and things happened. This was great.
So we are gonna play the end of that right now,
so you know who won cat fight?

Speaker 2 (09:04):
And again I'm sorry, that was all my bad, by bad.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
What musical instrument with black and white keys was made
popular by American inventors?

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Tangela piano.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
The piano is correct and that is three, which means
you are going to the Outlaw Country Music Festival on
us here at Grand b and Sarah La, thanks for
choosing ninety six point nine the cat Tangela, who.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Are you taking with you?

Speaker 1 (09:27):

Hopefully we will see you out there.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Awesome, Thank you?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
All right? Coming up?

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Does XO always carry literal meaning? Or can it be
a pleasantry? Can?

Speaker 3 (09:47):
We have a.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Heated debate going on and we need your help? So
again the numbers one eight hundred and five seven zero nine,
six nine zero. Give us a call and let Sarah
leno that sometimes it's just a.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Pleasant tree if you love somebody yet not the cat
Gramby and Sarah Lee give us a call.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
One eight hundred and five seven zero nine six nine zero.
Does XO always carry literal meaning? Or can it be
a pleasantry?

Speaker 4 (10:14):
XO in the South means kiss hug, So if you
text message someone and you in that text with XO,
you are saying kiss hug.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
So I think that XO can be a pleasantry. I
have used it as that.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Now I may be wrong, but not even a nice pleasantry,
because when you used it you were mad at this person.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
I was annoyed someone someone name dropped and rescheduled. I
didn't need the name drop. So when they asked me
about rescheduling, I said, direct quote, yeah no, I showed
you the I showed you the message. Yeah, no worries XO.
And then I just never responded after that.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
And that's a gram you put XO.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
That was very misleading because that's a love language.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
I make zero apologies.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Hey, you're playing with her emotions and that is not okay.
I sign all my cards XO to my kids, my parents,
my husband, but I'm not putting XO on a text
message to some random guy.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Well that's where we part ways. Well she wasn't random,
she was a friend of mine.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
But I will.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Always keep guy friends. Yeah, and you don't never got
over EXO, So give us a call. One eight hundred
and five seven zero nine six nine zero. Does XO
always carry literal meaning like it means kissong? Or can
you or do you have you ever use it as
a pleasantry? We discussed, We debate, Plus we have thrown
that question up on our Instagram.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Graham B and Sarah Ly please go over there, comment,
drop a like, vote all of those things.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
And call us yeah, we want to talk to you.
I'm I need some backup.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
You ain't getting back up now. One hundred five seven
zero ninety six.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Ninety X Grady and Sarah le On ninety six point nine,
The Cat ninety.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Six point nine The cat who we got on the
cat phone.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
If somebody were to text message you and they end
the text message with.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
XO and it's no your significant other, it's just someone
in your life.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Does that mean something special?

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Does that carry any meaning to you? Or do you
think it's just a pleasantry.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
We love but not like I love you exactly means
kiss hug Well, Angela, you have a wonderful day.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
X Don't be trying to means kiss hug angela XO.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
We are so thankful that you called in here. XO.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
I listening to you guys every morning.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
I love you, guys, we love you. Have a great day.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
I'm crushing it early.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Oh yeah, y'all crush all the time.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Early, for you're the best. You have made our day.
You have no idea have the best morning.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
So good all right, you don't have a blessed day
and have a happy port and enjoy life.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
We will right with your sister.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Give us a call one eight hundred and five seven
zero nine six nins. Your angela needs some backup. XO
just a pleasantry?

Speaker 4 (12:54):
I guess Okay, when you go on your phone in
your text message, I want you to try to hit
X to any random person and see the emoji that
pops up.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Well, I'm gonna use your argument against you. Even in
schools they are taking phones away because it's so misleading.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
We're not taking a word right now. It's a red lip,
it's a kiss. Never look for yourself.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
What a hundred and five seven zero ninety six nine zero.
We want to talk to you. Graham B and Sarah
le on ninety six point nine the cat does XO
always carry meaning? Can it be a pleasantry? It's Graamy
and Sarah Lee? What's your name? Where are you're calling from?
You got you on the cat.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Phone my truck?

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Where are you driving to?

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Amazing?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Well?

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Thank you so much for listening.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Yeah, that makes our day.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
So if you sign a text message XO is their
significance to that meaning?

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Yes see I told you Graham always.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
So you've never sent a text message and put XO
just as a pleasantry?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
No, okay, all right, what's your name? Yes, let's go tutor.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
All right.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
In the pleasantry means kiss hug. That is what you're
saying when you say pleasantry.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Well, that's definitely what tutor is saying. For sure, Tutor.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
We appreciate you taking the time to call in and
support tutor.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Can you toot the horn for us?

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (14:17):
I have a great day to have a wonderful holiday
weekend and.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Sleep for.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
So, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
See XO to us pleasantry.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
She loves us and we love our all right, all right.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
You okay, I have a blessed day.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
You too.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Bye bye.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
I am taking a beating in this one, not necessarily,
but in the South, XO means kiss hug, And if
you put that on a text message, this is a
learning lesson for you, especially to a female. She is
going to take that ass kiss hug literally, I promise you.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Well, this young lady was Colombian, so from I guess
she's from the Deep South. I agree. Hey.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
The pole is up on Instagram, Grammy and Sarah le
so please go vote there.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Leave us some comments, leave us some love. Cast your
vote up.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
XO. Does it always carry meaning or can it be
a pleasantry that it's ninety six point nine The Cat,
Gramby and Sarahly. Does XO always carry meaning or can
it be a pleasantry? We've been discussing all morning long,
is Grammy and Sarahly on ninety six point nine The Cat.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
We were gonna wrap this up, but there is some
new information.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
That come to line.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
You know this out.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
I am so against it. I think XO means kiss
hog and you.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
Only put that if you love somebody because it means
literally kiss hog in the South.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
And then I saw the picture of the girl hole
that you text message.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
That too, and I was like, Okay, I completely understand
that you you should totally text her that all the time.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
No, I'm out again, rescheduled and name.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Drops you still xos You're not out, You're not out.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
I'm out.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
It is a wrap that person knows as well. So,
but we have been discussing it. If you still want
to chime in.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Honest scale zero to tend this girl is a million.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Well she beauty's in the eye of the beholder, so we'll.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
See it was your beholden eyes.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
All right, So the poll is up. Grahamy and Sarah Lee.
We're talking about XO and text messages. I just had
so bear with me.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
I'm forward the both of you depends on who you're
talking to and the conversation.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
If it is a man and you wanted to go
on a date with this man, the man reschedules because
he's hanging out with somebody else, and you say no
worries EXO, does that mean kiss huck? Well, I would
do it backward to hug kids.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
All right, that's context.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
We're just meaning. I understand, and of course we can reschedule.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
But Graham didn't really want to reschedule.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
He wanted to end thing.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
I'm out.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
We gotta talk, We gotta talk, all right, Well that's
why we're talking about it.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
I'm learning, I'm learned. I'm not above learning new things.
That means he shouldn't have X correct put a question Markhaman. Well,
thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
And again, like I said, I am learning, and I
greatly appreciate cat Country for helping me learn.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
Cie, you did the best job picking Graham be he
manches your energy. Oh, thank you so much. We cut
up every morning, so it's not even like work. Are
you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I can't go through a morning without you. Guys.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
You have made our day.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
Thank you so much for the love that means more
than you will ever know.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
And thank you for voting for me this morning. That's right,
that's right.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Well, exo you she did.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Happy fourth of July week And again it is not
lip service when we say we greatly appreciate your support.
It's been such a wonderful start here at Cat Country
and it means more than you know.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
And we hope you feel better.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
I'm getting better, but we'll be praying for you and
we hope you have a great weekend.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Yeah, we're on this journey with you. Happy fourth of
July weekend.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Patty Boordsato, excell.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
It's grammby and Sarah Late ninety six point nine the Cat.
This is something that I've been wanting to talk about
all morning long. And no, I'm not talking about responding
to text messages with XO. This is something even better.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Yes, the ultimate Panther fan experience. All of our friends
are hitting us up. We want to win, we want
to win.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Take us with you.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Yeah, and I got a message for all of my friends,
Well you win it, and then you take me because
we can't win. I've even asked if I could enter
that is not possible. So all my friends and there's
probably seven of them that want to go see the
home opener with the Carolina Panthers versus the Atlanta Falcons
divisional game.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
You gotta win and you take.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Me so the ultimate fan experience.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
What this means is you get filled access ladies standing
on the field looking up at these professional football players.
You get to sit in the suite, you get autograph merchandise,
and if you're like Graham and your I don't want
to call you like a junkie of sports. I'm gonna
way that was sports junkie, of course, but you get
the opportunity to go into the press box that's right,

(19:07):
be around all those folks, all the broadcasters.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
This is something that I want to do.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
I don't know if I'm able to enaggle my way
into this, but when I saw this, this is one
of the coolest things that I've been a part of
since we've been here. And we get to give away
cool stuff all the time. This is the home opener
for the Panthers.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Let's go keep bounding. So your chance to qualify to
win is coming up at nine o'clock.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
