Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Are you ready to concede?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
I actually went out over the weekend and I got
a tape measure.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Good.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Didn't get the right kind. I got the clothing kind
because it's smaller. Okay, but it's in the car there
you go.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
See.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It came in handy too.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
I went school shopping this weekend, so it came in handy, said,
thank you, grim Bunn.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Baby Steps school shopping. Oh, we gotta get into that
a little bit later.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I gotta know, I gotta know I barely survived.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Well, I'm glad that you were here. It's Monday. Got
a great show, Parker McCollum. Tickets, Ashley Cook, Hudson Westbrook.

have a great day. Thank you for listening to ninety
six point nine The Cat. Bailey Zimmerman on Graham B

(00:53):

been two years in the studio gonna be good. There's
some new one's off of that album available now if
you want to check it out. But Bailey's never remn
new music. This weekend, what's the Caroline is talking about today?
Sarah Lee's Top three?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Graham, what happened to the weather? It was so hot
last week and then over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I walk outside and I'm like, grab a hoodie.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Power of prayer, Baby, Power of prayer.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Gonna be eighty degrees today. So if you need a
little light, long sleeve shirt, make sure you grab it.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
And school is starting back soon.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I did some back to school shopping yesterday along with
the rest of the world.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Everybody was at the mall.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I was surprised when you walked in that you weren't
limping bore, because I know that you are tussling trying
to get those trapper keepers and get in line.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
It is a scavenger hunt man.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
But Charlotte Mecklenburg school start back August twenty fifth, and
a Cleveland and Gaston County school start back on August thirteenth,
middle of the week.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Who decides that then go back on a Wednesday?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Back to school? Back to school?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Cool?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
And if you're going on a last minute vacation and
you're headed up to the mountains, be.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
On the lookout for bears.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
So the North Carolina Wildlife Commission says that they are
more active this summer. A man in Weaverville just got
in like a this fight with the bear on his
front porch. They swatted and pushed him down. Okay, Yogi,
you chill out man.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
All I can see is one of those memes with
the bears doing the quick footwork and into jabs. Yeah,
but be careful if you see a bear out there,
do not box it.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
And that was in Weaverville, So just be careful if
you head out to the mountains.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
And Charlotte.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Travel plans were delayed for hundreds of people on a
flight from New York coming back home to Charlotte yesterday
and American Airlines flight was scheduled to land around nine
thirty four last night. Instead it was diverted to Philly Philadelphia,
and the main calls was a mechanical issue.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I don't like that. That's why I don't fly.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
But thankfully I think everyone got home around midnight.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
But could you.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Imagine having to work the next day. What happened well,
was coming home ended up in Philly.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
That sounded like our hour sometimes you know.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
What I mean?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Sometimes every day and if you are overworked, you can
enjoy the Bathouse. This is a new luxury contrast therapy
club opening this Friday in Charlotte in South End, close
to us.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
What's up the bathhouse? You just go and take baths.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I guess you can.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
There's a sign of there cold plunge thermost soaked.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
I'll do the cold plunch. I know you would.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
How long do you think you could last?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
So? I think remember we sent that video me and
my buddy, we did a boxing video and I was like,
I'm gonna try the cold plunge. I did it. I
think we were in there for three and a half minutes.
It was freezing.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
My heart would stop. There is a eucalyptus steam room.
There's all kinds of stuff. We should go check it out.
But that opens on Friday.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Let's go also Friday. We have shows this weekend and
we're giving away passes to shows in the future. So
Park and McCollum, Ashley Cooking, Hudson Westbrook are rolling through town.
They're playing the Skyla on September twenty. First, you don't
have to pay for it, because we are sending you
seven to ten cat fight for free. It's Graham by
and Sorely ninety six point nine the cat when a

(04:08):
white lie is called for. I'm not a subscriber to
white lives, No no lies, Graham being Sarely. So I
got a question for you because this happened to one
of my close friends. Gave me a call this weekend,
and we've known each other for years, so he knows
that I'm not a subscriber to white lies. I don't
like the anxiety. I don't like having to keep up
with stuff of like what did I say so for.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
You, Graham, I mean you're a great man.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I don't know if it means I'm great. I just
don't like that anxiety and stress of having to remember
something that didn't actually.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Happen, because you will forget correct yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Of course, and then you get caught up and it
compounds the problem. But I was asked a question where
I was like, I don't know. I don't know about
that one. So he went on a date. The date
was we'll just say not good. He was like, I
didn't really enjoy it. Super nice person, didn't want to
be offensive. At the end of the day, the girl
got up and said, to my friend, and we're gonna

(05:01):
call him Frank, that's his real name. He asked me
not to use his name because I know you're gonna
use this on the radio. Yep, you sure, I am.
She said, I would love to do this again. Can
I see you this week? And he said, yeah, well
we'll figure something. That has zero intention of ever seeing
this person again. But right, so he told a white
lie he knew that I would always recommend not and

(05:22):
I honestly didn't have an answer for that.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Well, no, you're putting me on the spote.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, I'm like, yes, no, I don't know. So, like,
how do you handle that? Because I don't subscribe to
white lies? And in that I said, may you you
kind of have to? I guess you.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Well, now after the fact, he can send a text
message because that's really passive. But sure, I don't think
I'm interested in going down the same road you are
at this moment. But thank you so much for going
out and maybe we can hang.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
In the future.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I was conflicted, and you and I will we'll bring
this up at some other point in Tom because I
got to think about how I still don't know how
I would handle it without line, know how you would
handle it, Like no, we're not Yeah, we're not going
to see each other. G Bun is honest.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
And if he doesn't like you, that's not fair.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
That's not fair. Someone put me on the spot in
frontcessarily and I put them right back on the spot.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
We're honest. That was just like your boy was on
the spot. Graham Bun is going to be honest. He
tells no lies.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
I don't enjoy it, and I know my father's listening.
He's like, that's right, But I'm this boy. That's a
very tough scenario to be in. But White Line here, you're.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
In a tough scenario two. But you had no problem.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
We are not lying. You only say we're sending you
to see Park and McCollum, Ashley, Cook and HUDs and Westbrook.
That is for sure. Seventeen Cat Fight, those tickets, those
passes on us for free is ninety six point nine
The Cat. Jason alb on ninety six point nine The Cat,
Graham By and Sarah Lee. I cannot wait to see
that show he puts on a shoe.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yes he does, and we want to send you as
a cat VIP, So not only would you get into
the show, but you can get in and have a
special Jason Aldean experience before the show.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So anytime you hear Jason Alden or Nate Smith for
that matter, but Jason Alden really important in this scenario.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Has he just played spoiler alert?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Just tap that red talk bag Mike, tell us your
name where you're listening from that you want to be
a cat vip on.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Our iHeartRadio app just like Linda Dick. Hey, y'all, this
is Linda from Watch So I'm Caroline. I would love
to see Jason Aldean. He's one of my favorites.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Put on such a good show.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I love your station.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
You guys are way too funny.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I wake up at day in the morning and just
have a grand old time. Love you guys.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
It's time for cat fights with Grand Bean serily.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
On ninety six point nine the cat Brandon from Iron
Station versus Brittany from Fort Long. We are playing for
parking McCollum passes at Skyla September twenty first. Now all
of our questions surround our favorite day of the week, Monday.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Love Monday.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
First one, what animated cat has become famous for hating Mondays?
He's orange, he's lazy, and he loves lasagna.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Brittany Brittany Garfield.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Garfield is correct. I love that question.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
If you're dragging on Monday and you want to sleep
in a little longer, you may hit this button.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Brittany Brittany.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Yes, Which country superstar sings nine to five? The perfect
Monday anthem for working folks?

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Brittany Brittany, United States of America.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Nope, I'm gonna repeat the question. Yeah, yeah, So which
country superstar sings nine to five? And the clue.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Is she's working nine to five?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
She's a Tennessee legend with a hard as big as
her hair is. Dolly Parton.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
You already got it wrong, so we have to go
to Brandon.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
It is Brandon's on the board.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
What breakfast food do you crack open on a Monday
to frost?

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Brittany Brandon, Yes, Brendon with the comeback.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Now it's two to two. The next correct answer will
win passes to see Parker McCollum, What sweet breakfast treat
shows up in the office break room too many times?
But especially on Mondays, It's round and glaze Brittany, Brittany,
Donut donut is correct. Thanks for playing guys. The show

(09:22):
rolls right on along. We've been discussing this and it's
getting a little heated into the studio. Sound off. Do
you support quitting? One eight hundred five seven zero nine
six nine zero. Do you support quitting? Like my partner
over here? You little quittering.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Many things in my life. I would be lying if
I said I didn't.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
The same way, I just like calling you little quitter.
One eight hundred and five seven zero nine six nine zero.
Sound off Grammy and Sarahly? Is it ever okay to quit?
You little quitter? Gram Me and Sarahly ninety six point nine.
The cat the floor is yours, quitter.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
What I don't allow my kids to quit when it
comes to chill, I make them follow through. If you
sign up for t ball, I don't care if you
like it or not. You play in the dirt and
do dirt angels. You're playing for the whole season.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Here comes the butt.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
But yeah, as an adult, I quit.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Yes, I've quit many things in my life because I
think the older you get what you allow and what
you tolerate says a lot about you, and if you're
not happy with certain things, why would you stay. I've
quit relationships, I've quit jobs, I've quit living in certain areas.
I've moved around. So it depends on what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Graham, I can't quit you.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I can't quit you.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
You quit cheeseburgers, and don't even say quitting is not
an option because you quit fast food.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
I have given it up for a short period of
time because my good friends at PhD Weight Loss are
helping me get my weight problem under wraps.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
But I really think it depends on what it is'ting
it does.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
If you're quitting alcohol, you go. If you're quitting smoking,
that's amazing.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Well one eight hundred and five zero nine six nine zero.
We'll just go general because context does matter and you
can always find certain scenarios where yes, of course you
can justify this, But overall, do you support quitting, you
will quitter?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Zero a hundred five cents.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Zero nine six nine zero. It's Gramby and sarah Le
sound off quitting? Is it ever okay to quit? Sound off?
Gramby and sarah Le.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
So I am totally for quitting if it benefits you
and it makes you a happier person. Quit And Curtis
went on our Facebook page and he said, I quit
my job in my mind three times last week?

Speaker 1 (11:40):
All right, I got I got two from Instagram Linda
from Statesville quitting is just pivoting with flair. Ooh, I
like that, okay, and then this last one did make
me laugh. Dan out of Oakdale said, quitting's okay. Just
sometimes you gotta ghost your problems and give something else
a chance to disappoint you. Dan O one this morning,

(12:02):
five cents zero nine six nine zero Is it ever
okay to quit? Sound off jelly Roll at SummerSlam WWE
wrestling style words. I thought I'd never say. It's Graham
B and Sarah Lee.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
I saw a video over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
I replayed it Graham seventeen times.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
How is this possible?

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Jake Paul is standing on the ring, I don't know
what the top of.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
It's called the top rope.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
And he jumps so high like he's doing a high
dive off a diving board and crushes jelly Roll.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Now, my great.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Grandmother would knock me out if I said w WE
was not real, because she believed it through and through.
But I'm like, how does he land like that without
hurting Jelly Roll?

Speaker 2 (12:45):
The faith and the trust you have to have in somebody,
not me.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Jimmy snook a superfly styles off the top rope right
onto jelly Roll if you had to, And this made
me think about this, and Jelly Roll did an amazing job.
Now they did come up short, but that's okay. And
he did act break his pinky finger, which is not good.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Really, I did not know that women Jelly Roll did
or Jake Paul.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Jelly Roll broke his pinky finger.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Because Jake Paul landed on it.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
I don't know why or when it happens. You see
the fall, Yeah, it was crazy. They did a lot
of things though. Jelly Roll did some body slams and
all types of stuff. But if you had to, who
would you think if you were to get one country
star to wrestle, who would you go with? Who's your
number one? Like? I think they'd be good at.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Wrestling, Like I get to wrestle with them.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
No, no, no, you're sitting in and let's say you
your bat money.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Second. Morgan Wallin, Morgan Wallen, he's stout.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Oh no, no, no, I take that back. I take it back.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Gavin Adcock is not losing at all.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
That dude is going for the win every time.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
All Right, I'll say I'm gonna go Riley Green because
he looks like he's athletic and he's very strong.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
He's tall.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
He'll be taking out by the legs and fall over
like a tower.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Logan is tall.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Yeah, but he's thick.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Not that Isa said what I said.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Okay, I handed handshaking out of this little bro ship.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
But I also have hugged him and he is not
a stick.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
He's a strong gentleman. That's all I'll say.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Character, Yes, but there we go.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Well regardless, jelly Roll, congratulations, you did an amazing job.
I never thought that I would have seen Jelly Roll
at Summer Slam.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
You got to see the Yeah, we've got to post it.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
On social Yeah, I'll get it up. Something Grandy and
Saraily aimed to be all the time is be a
good friend. Now, there's a reason that we keep playing
Jason al Dean, and it's not because we love his music,
because we do, but it's a different reason.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Well, he's coming to Charlotte August twenty second and we
want you to be a cat vip and see Jason
before the show.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Yeah, but Saraly, how do you get to do that?
It's fun to talk about, but how do you do it?

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Well?

Speaker 3 (14:51):
You have to download the iHeartRadio app, hit the red
talk bat Mike, tell us your name, where you're at,
and that you want to be a cat vip like this.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Good morning, Gramby and Sarah Lee. This is Sydney from Monroe,
North Carolina.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
I hear Jason Aldin on the radio and I would
love for the opportunity to be a cat vip and
go see him and get to Meeta.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
And I hope y'all have a tooday. Panther fan Fest
was this weekend and it was cool. Grahamy and Sarah Lee,
I told.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
You it would be amazing.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
You get to see the players up close and personal,
and you love some football.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
I do love some football, and I will say this,
so the Panthers had we'll say, an underachieving year last year,
and there's a lot of excitement about the improvements that
we made in the off season. The thing that I
walked away from is the wide receivers or the Panthers
and Bryce Young looked amazing over the weekend. And again,
it's just the preseason. You can't put too much stock

(15:48):
in it. But if they looked bad, that had been
a real problem. They looked great.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
I'm always going to be a diehard Panther fan. Let's
go Panthers. Keep pounding.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I know you got a lot of pictures out there.
I did they look good? Did you post them?

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I haven't posted him yet. We're gonna post some stuff. Obviously,
it's tricky because the Panthers don't want any of their
formations kidding out no, so we.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Won't know anything about football. But I'm learning thanks to
Graham Bund.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
That's right. I will say this. Fantasy football is a
massive thing. The wide receiver McMillan that we drafted this year,
he's our first round draft pick. I believe he played
at Arizona insane catches over the weekend. I'm thinking about
drafting him for my fantasy team.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Well, I'm thinking about getting a jersey in advance. I'm
getting on that bandwagon.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
First ninety six minutes, NonStop cat Country, Keep pounding, Panthers, Vegas.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
That's where I got married.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
It's a good time when you go to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Grahamy and Sarah Lee And speaking of good times, our
iHeartRadio Music Festival by Capitol One is back.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
September nineteenth and twentieth. It is a big party. If
you've never been to an iHeartRadio Music Festival, there is
nothing like it.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Crazy performances, Jelly Roll, Tim McGraw to name just a
few of who's gonna be there. We want to send
you for free, and I believe that opportunity is right
around the corner.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
It's coming up at nine o'clock. So don't go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Make sure you're listening and win that trip to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Baby, iHeartRadio Music Festival on the way ninety six point
