Ninety six point nine the Cats. It is earlier in
the morning. I feel like I've been up all day
because Morgan Wallin's album is out and we are celebrating
with new Morgan Walland tracks all show long.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
My favorite is still the song that made me fall
out of the chair.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
What I Want.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
It's been on repeat the whole.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Drive in and the good news is if you missed it,
Sarah le posted a snippet of that song before it
got released. I don't know how she got it. I
got a few messages about where did that snippet come from.
It came from someone else and did not come from me.
But no one's in trouble. Everything is all good.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
It didn't come from me.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
It did not go for you.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Grim Bund is an endless resource of country music. Before
it comes out, it is all I'll say.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, And luckily this time it wasn't me.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
It was not the problem. But the records, the whole
album is so good, and we're gonna talk about some
songs that we like.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
And we're gonna play some new records that we like and.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Let us know. Hit us up on socials, call us
tell us your favorite.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Today's gonna be Crazy Interactive. Let's go. Morgana album is out.
It is Friday. Have a great weekend. Thank you for tuosing.
Ninety six point nine The Cat. What's the Carolina's talking
about today?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Sarah Lee's Top three Hot this topic. Morgan Wallan, His
brand new album came out at midnight.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Morio Walla's albums out.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
We've been listening all morning and we're gonna be playing
his new music all morning long, so make sure you
keep it locked on ninety six point nine The Cat.
So much is going on this weekend. We're gonna be
out as Charlotte as sent tomorrow. All day is Taylor
Swift Day. We're gonna be making friendship bracelets.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Yeah that's right. And the first thousand fans that show
up get large beach towels. Never go wrong with the
on a beach owl. So bad.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Randall King. So this guy is the country singer up
and coming. He's at Coyote Joe's tonight. I love this guy.
He's kind of like a young Cody Johnson. He is
a true cowboy. He's the kind that takes his cowboy
hat off when he greets you. I love when cowboys
do that.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
If you like red dirt country. You like Texas country,
You're gonna love Randall King and kylu Joe's is awesome,
always funk.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Yeah, and get on this guy while he's up and
coming because he's going to be a huge star and
growing up in the South. There are two drinks that
you can only get in the South and that sun
Drop and cheirwine.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
You love both of those, Yes, I do.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
And tomorrow is the Cheirwine Festival in Salisbury, So if
you're looking for something to do, definitely check that out
as well.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
All right, cool, last thing I want to add, because
I am a sucker for this. I was hoping it
would make the top three.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Oh I forgot I got you. Luke Grimes.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
That's right, Luke Grimes. He is reprising his role as
Casey Dutton from the Yellowstone series. I love Yellowstone, I
love all the music they feature. Luke Grimes is actually
an artist. Some of his music was featured in Yellowstone.
No Horse to Ride I think was the name of
the song. Very talented guy, but that's coming back the
end of this year and it's called Us Marshalls, I believe.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And you're kind of friends with this guy. You've got
pictures with them, because of course you do, because you're grandbad.
Now all we need is for you to get Luke
Grimes in Charlotte for a concert, because the boy can
sing and he's easy on the eyes.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
He is easy on the eyes, but he's even nicer guy,
so it's easy to cheer for. Stay with us, Morgan
Walland takeover. We're gonna be playing all of our favorites
from the new album. I know you are pumped about
one song called What I Want. Remember that title. We're
gonna play it for you. Keep it locked. It's ninety
six point nine The Cat. You're listening to the graand
B and Sarahly Friday. Friday is here. Congratulations, you made it.

(03:25):
You made it as well. Ninety six point nine The Cat,
Graham B and Saraly. It's a special date. Morgan Walland
has dropped his new album I'm the Problem. We're gonna
get into Sarah Lee's favorite song off the record.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Here are many favorites. This is probably number one. Two
is Revelation. I like that one.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, there's a ton of great ones. I love working
Man song, but what I Want is coming up. One
of the things that I wanted to ask you though
I cannot remember, maybe since the last Morgan album dropped,
the excitement that was building towards an artist. You know me,
I'm a music geek. I have a ton of favorite artists,
but I can't remember a massive movement like this where
there was a countdown weeks ago to an album drop.

(04:04):
Can you know?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
And he's having his big festival this weekend out in Alabama,
And I've already said Graham this morning. The first thing,
let's get a party bus. The closest tour stop. He
asked to Charlotte is Ohio. I said, let's get a
party bus and take a lot of listeners and let's
go to the concert.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Or is there a surprise show that's going to be
announced later that might be close to the stop. It
I'm just saying it. I'm just saying, you never know
what Morgan wall No, you never know. What I want
is for that to happen. We'll see if it does.
It is Morgan Wallen Takeover. The new album is out.
It's Friday.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yes, this is the best Friday ever.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
And it's getting even better here at Graham be and
Sara Lee because surprise we have Morgan Wallen. I gotta
ask about the collaboration.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
My favorite song What I Want with Tate McCrae.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I think it's your very first feature. Ever, how did
that come about?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
We have been talking about doing it a song for
a while, you know, we've we've expressed to each other
for a couple of years now that we were a
fan of what each other was doing and just talked
about doing a song, but never you know, it just
hadn't worked out up until now. This is, uh, this's
my first female feature and collaboration, so that's cool.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
I'm excited to see how it goes.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
And it seems just like one of those songs that's
a that's a no brainer, and she made it better.
She was an absolute pleasure to work with on the feature.
You know, she did everything very timely. We didn't get
to work on on in the studio together. But you know,
the song wasn't originally written for her in mind.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
It was you know, written in a guy.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Key technically, and she just absolutely crushed every single part
of the song.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
And I'm fired up for people to hear it. Boygan
Walling takeover. It's Friday ninety six point nine to Cat
We have more with Morian We've been talking with him
the album is out. We discussed what I want your
favorite record off the album with Tate McCrae.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Those song that made me fall out of the chair.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
I love now, Morgan, you decided to allow Superman to
be pre released so it had its own moment. There's
so many great songs on this album, but can you
tell us about it, because obviously it meant a lot
to you.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
I've tried for years to write a song that I
love for my son, and you know, none of them
ever landed exactly the way I wanted them to, and
I wanted that song to be extremely special.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I wanted to love it.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I still wanted it to have a cool sound.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
I wanted him to, you know, when he.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Gets a little bit older, to be like, oh this
this sounds cool, But I also have a deep meaning
to it. So for me, I truly love the song,
and you know, it made me extremely emotional. And that
was the first time a song like that for him
had done that.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
So I knew then that I was gonna add it
to the record. Ninety six point nine to the Cat.
But Morgan Wallin Takeover is here. If Froddy wasn't cool
enough already Morgan Wallin on Graham Be and Sarah Lee.
Today's been wild.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I can't believe he hung out with us on release day.
This is the best way to kick off the weekend.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yeah, super cool. So the album is thirty seven song
There's a ton of content on there. Where would you
tell someone to start? Because thirty seven songs, that's a
lot of music to take in.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
It is so hard because every song is good. My
ultimate favorite is what I Want, but the close second
is called Revelation. Whoo. I love that one too. What's
your favorite?

Speaker 1 (07:18):
I think I would say both of those are great choices.
I would say working Man songs. So there's three out
of thirty seven if you want to check out the album.
Those are gram B and Sarah Lee's top choices. More
with Morgan Wallen throughout the day. It's ninety six point
nine The Cat, Graham B and Sara Lee. Happy Friday,
ninety six point nine The Cat is Friday.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
We made it to the weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Morgan Wallen Takeover does continue. We are going to be
playing Morgan Wallan's new album all day long, so please,
even when our show ends, stay with ninety six point
nine The Cat and.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Morgan Wallen is the house party tomorrow night, seven pm
at kicks off. Said don't miss that either.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
So many things going on. It's gonna be a crazy weekend.
Hope that you haven't a weekend. We are gonna be
out and about at the Carolina.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Since is Taylor Swift takeover. They're gonna have friendship bracelets
you can make out there. And Graham's favorite thing.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I was gonna say, you don't ever bring up the
beach sowls. Am I on an island here. Beach towels
are amazing, Like massive towels are something I love.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
He will not get off these towels. But if you're
a part of the first one thousand people to show up,
you will get the towel, get the information, and you
can still get tickets on our website ninety six nine
The cat dot Com.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
If your back was as wide as mine, you would
understand why I love beach sowls. I got a wide back,
you know what I mean? All right, next week's gonna
be wild. Please join us Monday morning. We'll tell you
everywhere we're gonna be, but we want to get out
in these streets. Give you hugs, high fives. It's gramby
