Speaker 2 (00:04):
Oh we made it and you didn't get knocked out
by my pitch last night.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
It's good to day. I was so proud of you
right down the pipe looking like Tom Glavin or a
young Sandy Kofax up on that mound.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Sdee, Avery, John Smolts.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yes, come on, all of them. I'm so proud of you.
It was great. Was it fun?
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yes, it was so much fun. My heart was beating
out of my chest though. But thank you to everyone
who showed up at the Kannapolis Cannonballers game. That is
such a beautiful field.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Oh, it was great. It was so cool to be
there just to support you and icing on the cake.
It's Friday. We've had an awesome week celebrating and this
is the best way to close it out.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, and it's not just Friday, it's Memorial Weekend, so
it's a long weekend.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
We do have some travel updates for you if you
are traveling, Sarah Lee's got you covered coming up in
just a little bit. Do not go anywhere. Celebrate this
Friday with us. It's ninety six point nine The Cat
Gramby and Sandy Cooke facts today. Yeah, Sarah Lee with
the cannon arm right down the pipe strike Sandy Kofax
in the building. One of the greatest pictures ever to
(01:08):
grace the mouth. Sarah Lee just stepped up there. Didn't
seem nervous at all through a strike. It wouldn't even
take the pine tar I was trying to give you.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
You are so funny. I wasn't nervous because I have
my partner standing right there.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I was excited ninety six point nine to cat what
makes you nervous? So if I were to put myself
on the hot seat, probably operating this board by myself,
that'll make me nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
You're gonna have to do it next week.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
That's right. I'm actually looking forward to it. But I
will be honest, I am nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I get excited. I don't know, maybe because I'm adhd
when I'm faced with something that makes other people uncomfortable.
I like challenges. I look at challenge in the face
on my bring it on, let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
So doing things for the first time all good?
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Oh, I get so excited.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I love it. Well, it showed last night.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Though, you know what I do get nervous flying. I
think that's my only fear.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Okay, well that's I think maybe relinquishing control for you.
But I'm your sand all right. Before this show ends,
before it gets off the ground, it's ninety six point
nine the chat gram me and Sarah Lee. Don't throw
that at me. Lack of effort at the grocery store,
hear me out.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I don't even go to the grocery store. I get
everything delivered to my door. I'm that lazy.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
When you go to the grocery store and someone leaves
their grocery cart in the parking spaces, it is really
driving me up the wall. You and I have had
a very challenging week. Yesterday I went to grab some
food in between events that you and I are doing,
so time was pretty limited and I didn't want to
waste energy. I am trying to pull into multiple parking
(02:40):
spaces at the grocery store, and there's just random carts
that people did not return to their space. Usually little
things like that don't set me off. But hear me out.
Is it that hard to put your grocery cart back?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Well, it depends on where you're at at the grocery store, No,
but at hobby lobby. Yes, because they don't have one
of those places you can just stow the cart. You
literally have to walk car all the way back into
the store, which is so frustrating. I do it, I
don't leave it out in the parking lot, but it's
still time consuming.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
I know. I like you and shots fired Hobby Lobby.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
I love hobby Lobby. I mean they take all my money,
but I still love hobby Lobby.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well, hear me out, Am I overreacting? One eight hundred
and five seven zero nine six nine zero. When people
don't put their grocery carts back says more.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
About their character than yours? And do you get this mad?
Speaker 1 (03:28):
And then now, pretty sister? Actually that does show? Or
I just need it now. But it's Friday. I'm gonna
get one ninety six point nine in the Cat Gram
by Sarah Lee. It's ninety six point nine the Cat
Memorial Day weekend, Happy Friday. It is a big travel weekend,
so if you're out on the roads, the police will
be out, so be careful. Also, if you're traveling back
from somewhere, looks like there's gonna be some rain on Monday,
(03:51):
so make sure that you are.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
ULTI course Caroline is talking about today Sarah Lee's top three.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
But the good news is it's gonna be sunny weekend
high close to eighties, so it's a great Lake weekend.
Thank you to everyone who came out to Cannapolis last
night to the cannonballers game. We had a clean.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Suite, of course we did. You were on the mound.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
And thank you for your help getting that pitch across
the plate. And last night, if you looked up in
the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
No.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Around nine point fifty two last night, what you saw
lighting up the sky was a Starlink satellite and you
could see it about four minutes and then it was
poof gone. Couldn't be seen.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Didn't see it, didn't see it.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
But what you can see is our Charlotte Checkers. Big
congratulations to them. They have advanced to the Eastern Conference finals,
which means Graham fun lost a bet.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
No.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I actually lost a bet on the Hurricanes game, and
I am so glad that you didn't have it in
your top three, but we're talking about it anyway. We
got taken to the woodshed five nothing, and now we're
down two games to nothing. I'm gonna lose a case
of beard to my buddy Roy Good.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yes, So whenever I'm talking about the Checkers, you said
I just lost a case of beer, So I thought
you were talking about the Checkers.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I apologize. I was talking about the Hurricanes.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Well, now you can support our Checkers. They are heading
to the Eastern Conference Finals, and right now you can
get your tickets ten dollars for balcony seeds for the
first two home games. Now those tickets are on sale
all weekend long through Memorial Day.

you gonna take with you? I'm gonna take my fiancee, Joseph.

and we're gonna get Paul shadd On here to get
his expertise. You said he's a big NASCAR guy.

what he says.

songs ninety six point nine the cat Guess who I
have on the cap on Grand Vine.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Well, I'm guessing it is the legend himself, mister Paul Shadd.
But in my defense, my number probably wasn't programmed into
his phone. He probably thought it was a bill company
or something.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yeah, that's probably what it was.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
The legend himself is gracing our residents. Paul Shad, what's

Coca Cola six hundred because actually, what I've been doing
last night and this was fun. Kathy shaved the number

prediction is, because I talked to him the other day,
your Mama's favorite. I'm taking Chase Elliott to win the

Yeah. I talked to while I was talking to Alan,
his crew chief, and he said, they are feeling really
good about this. Can't go wrong with Hendrick. There's probably
about ten different guys that could win the race easy,
but I'll go with Chase. I'm going Kyle Larson. Kyle Larson,
that's not a bad pick, Sarah.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Like what he's running. He wanted in twenty one. He's
a vet. I'm taking Kyle Larson.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
I'm going Joey Logano just because I love that guy.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
He's coming off the best car. I mean that run
for Christopher Bell. Last ten laps stole that. But yeah,
that's a good pick. All three good picks. I hope
to see you guys at at the track.
