Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am so excited to see my friend, Samantha Bush.
You are back. So the last time I saw you
was at but Yard Leg Norman. We had the big
Bundle of Joyfund concerts. Yes, that was so much fun
and so much money was raised for the Bundle of Joyfund.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
It was such a wonderful night. I appreciate all of
our sponsors and everyone that came out. And yes, we
raised a ton of money, which is amazing because we
are now in our grant cycle. So we're taking all
those funds and giving them directly to couples in North
and South Carolina in order to fund their IVF journey.
Because what a lot of people don't know. It's almost
twenty thousand dollars and insurance usually doesn't cover it.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
And you are giving life to so many families, just
taking a weight off of their shoulders so they don't
have to front that bill. And do you personally give
them the check and say, hey, we are going to
fund this treatment for you.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah. So since we started ten years ago, I have
read every single application that has come through our doors,
and I have given out every single grant because that
is my mission, right, Like I know God had this
plan and I absolutely love like you are completely right.
I can see a visible weight lifted off their shoulders
when we tell them this good news. And so to date,
(01:11):
in over ten years, we have over one hundred and
five babies born and more on the way. So it's
incredible and we couldn't do it without our sponsors and
generous downers.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
And do you get Christmas cards of the babies every year?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yes, we get Christmas cards and of course we keep
up with them on social And what's absolutely wild is Brexton,
my son who's ten now, was three months old when
we did our first round of grants, and so we
have kids that are, like, you know, approaching double digits,
and then you have them that they're now because you know,
when you go through the embryo creation sometimes you get
(01:45):
more than one. And so now we're having siblings through
the Bundle Joy Funds, which just so cool. We do
an annual play date and it's absolutely surreal knowing the
struggles that we went through and then seeing my kids
play with the Bundle of Joy fund kids like it
is falser.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
So a lot of people may not know that you're
so passionate about this because you went through IVF treatments.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, Kyle and I struggled for many years to have
our families. So we were super young when we started trying.
We never had any indication that we were going to
have issues. And then lo and behold, it took us
almost ten years to have both of our kids. After
trying on our own, we ended up seeking fertility treatments.
Brexton was round one of our IVF cycle, and then
(02:28):
it took five additional rounds and a gestational carrier in
order for us to have our daughter, Lennox, who's now three.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
And what I love about you is that you're so
open and you know personally firsthand what these ladies are
going through, or families, men and women are going through,
And no matter how the family is trying to start,
you can hold their hand and kind of walk them
through the process. And I think that's beautiful. And so
I'm excited to share that we are going to try
(02:56):
to help raise more money for the Bundle of Joy Fun.
There is nothing better than laughter. Laughter heals the soul.
And you have a comedy show coming up?
Speaker 2 (03:05):
We do. It's Wednesday, August thirteenth, doors open at six pm,
and we are gonna have the amazing Eric etn On.
So not only is he hilarious, but he's also like
an illusionist love illusions.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
I do too. I always try to figure out how
they're gonna do their trick. I'm like, how are they
doing that?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I am so excited. I've been watching all of his
stuff on social and I'm like, I cannot wait to
be there in person. I think it's gonna be an
awesome event. And as you said, it's a great way
to raise money for the Bundle Joy Fund. Everyone wants
to come out have a fun night. It is adult only.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Yes you needed that nice.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
So either's a straight night, girls' night, whatever it might be,
but it's definitely gonna be adult only, and it's gonna
be a super fun time.
Speaker 1 (03:45):

Now I've been to the meet and greet. I'm telling
you it is worth the two seventy five because Kyle
and Samantha Bush know how to throw a party. Okay,
so that we do, I will say that.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
And Kyle is a super fun time. And I know
there's a lot of people out there that are always like, oh,
I wanted this special thing autographed, so bring it with
He'll sign it, get some pictures done, and then yeah,
come have a night a laughter.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
What I love about y'all is that when you do
a VIP experience. You know, I've been in radio for
a long time, and some people just are like Hi,
they take a picture and they move. But you and Kyle,
you spend quality time with your fans and you speak
with them, and so you're going to get your money's
worth for two seventy five. You're gonna get a great
night of comedy, and you're helping families, and you're meeting
(04:52):
Colin Samantha Bush well, and hopefully you're one of the
people pulled on stage for the illusion.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh gosh, no, I want to raise my hand and be.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Like pick me. I want to know, girl, I could
not do it. I would I would have a panic attack.
I could not do it.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
See, I'm the one when we go to like the
shows and stuff in Vegas, like, man, I hope they
pick me, but like O, Kyle's like, you know, it's
pre planned, right, And I'm like, oh see, I didn't
know that. Well, I don't know. He's you know, I'm
kind of more the optimistic one. He's the realist in
the family.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
