not feel like it.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
It does not feel like it. And also I'm a

Speaker 2 (01:02):
That this morning? Lord, I love you. I guess it's
not rapture today. And if you haven't heard. That was
the word on the street by some TikTokers. I'm like
the Bible says we will not know the day or time,
so I'm not really worried about it.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
I derailed us a little bit there, but we're starting
the show and I wanted to say what it's good
to see it works.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
I'm glad you're here and it quick. Heads up. If
you see some motorcades or a bit more activity in
Concord tomorrow, it's because Vice President Vance is making a visit,
so there may be a few traffic adjustments in certain areas.
To go ahead and prepare for that. He is set
to talk about the administration's recent tax cuts for working
families and for their support for local law enforcement. So
(01:45):
if you're in Concord tomorrow, just keep an eye out
for that.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah. If he's making speeches and points about tax cuts,
let's clear the roads.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Listen.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
I want it.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
I want you got to say about tax cuts.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Yeah, and I am so excited I did about this,
and I've got to get you out, Grand Vine. The
Cleveland County Fair is back. Its opening day is this Thursday. Now,
I have gone to the Cleveland County Fair every single
year since I was a baby. When I did not
live in North Carolina, I actually would fly home just
to go to this fair.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Favorite thing about the Fair When I was a kid,
I knew that fall was here because the State Fair
would come to Raleigh.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
So favorite thing about the fair fat Albert game.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
I got Paul Shadd addicted to that game. It's only
a quarter and you put your quarter on a color
and then this rat runs around in a circle and
goes in a hole, and if it goes in a
hole of your color.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
You win.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Is that easy?
Speaker 4 (02:40):
Nice?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Only quarter?
Speaker 4 (02:41):
All right?
Speaker 3 (02:41):
I would have never guessed that fair game. But I
do like fair games. And Cleveland County Fair starts Thursday.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
That's amazing. I did not know that.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
What's your favorite thing?
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I think all the.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Cool fair foods, because when I was a kid, that
was something that we ate fairly well when I was
growing up, but at the fair, my parents let us
get whatever funnel cakes, things.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
That we would never have.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
H do you call it a funnel cake or an
elephant ear? Because down in Cleveland County we call it elephant.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Ears, So I guess funnel cake. I had never heard
that it was called an elephant ear. I buy elephant
ears for my dog. I think I think there's a dog.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
I got big ears, big Okay, all right, we're reeling
it back in it back in Greenfield Country Music Festival
seventeen Cat Fight.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
They do have and I just learned this yesterday because
I was looking it up. It looks the lineups incredible,
Zach top Cowtzel, Travis Tripp. But they also have theme nights.
This is like a thing now at festivals. There are
certain themes, yes, like the American Knight and Retro Country.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
It's gonna be a great time.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
We have passes and more information about the festival throughout
the show.

us a funny joke. You have to make us laugh
first thing this morning.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
We need it.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
So this is a two way street. We try to
make you laugh, you try to make us laugh. Well,
the burden is on you right now, and you are
going to see Jeff Dunham, incredibly funny comedian playing the
Spectrum Center. It's a great date night, and we're gonna
put you in the fourth row.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Now.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Tomorrow we're gonna put you in the third row. But
today fourth row. Give us a call one eight hundred
five seven zero nine six nine zero and have your
joke ready.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
It's Grammy and sarahle ninety six point nine to cat.
What's your name? Where are you calling from? My name
is Larry and I'm going from Charlotte. Let's go, Larry, Larry,
do you have a joke for us?
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Because we want to send you so badly to see
Jeff Dunam in the fourth row.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Okay, how do you make an idiot say?
Speaker 4 (04:54):
How do you do that?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
How? How do you do that? We're idiots?
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Man?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Too early? How many times have you used that joke?
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Only one?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Two Indians? Oh that's embarrassing. Well congratulations, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
You're going to see Jeff Dunham in the fourth row.
We aren't done tomorrow. Right around this time, we're sending
someone to Jef Dunham. In the third row is ninety
six point non the cat Surprise pregnancy tests. It's ninety
six point nine the Cat, Graham B and Sarah Lee Surprise.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
It was such a surprise to me. Yesterday I went
to the doctor for a follow up appointment after last week.
Remember I went to the er. I was feeling terrible
and I didn't realize because I was out of it.
They did a lot of lab work on me. So yesterday,
while we were working, I get a text message your
lab results are ready, and you and I both were
(05:54):
in here, and I'm freaking out because some of them
said abnormal, and I'm like Graham and Stilly go to
I'm a hypochondriac, I'm dying. Turns out I just have
low iron, which is normal for me. So I go
to my doctor immediately after work yesterday and we're going
over the live results and she said, well, your pregnancy
(06:15):
test came back, and it could have been thirty seconds
of silence. It was probably only three. Because my brain
is thinking pregnancy test. I haven't taken a pregnancy test.
She said, your test came back negative. I said, of
course it did. Why why were you giving me a
(06:37):
pregnancy test? Because why would you not just ask me
if I was pregnant or not? How much money did
that spend on a daggum pregnancy test when they're a
dollar at the dollar tree?
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Graham, But maybe the medicine they were going to give
you wouldn't be healthy for a pregnant woman to take.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Maybe that's why they asked, well, you know what, they
gave me the test after they gave me the medicine.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Okay, Well then that point out the window, out.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
The window exactly, and I said, they don't just randomly
give men, obviously, pregnancy tests. This is an extra charge
that I'm gonna have to pay for because I'm a woman,
and of course I'm not pregnant. You should have just
asked me. I would have told you I was not pregnant.
And no justice to the hospital because they were absolutely phenomenal.
I love them, the nurses and the doctors. They took
(07:23):
great care of me. But then I started thinking, have
I ganked weight? Do I look pregnant? You know, I'm
all self conscious. Now there's no baby in this.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Belly, so you're saying that you're not pregnant.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
I am not pregnant. I am not pregnant. There's no
possibility that I could be pregnant. Sarah le is not pregnant,
So run with that. You're not wrong with the others
because I know if you were in the doctor's office
yesterday you could hear me through those walls. Pregnancy test. Yeah, congratulations, No,
well thank you, because I'm not pregnant.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Also, congratulations to the winner of cat Fight today because
you are going to something really cool. We have Greenville
Country Music Festival passes to give away. Zach Tops gonna
be there, cowt Soul, Travis Tritt and one of my

with them, but take my word for it. Muscat on Bloodline,
you are gonna love them. Those passes, those tickets for
(08:19):
cat Fight. Right around seven to ten on Grambat and Surly.
The negative is given a lot of light in the media,
and we like to do the opposite and highlight the positive.
So we do good news here at ninety six point
nine the Cat.

Have you done it? What did you learn from it?
Sound off?
Speaker 1 (11:02):
It's Grammy and Sarah Lee.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
I have the biggest fear of flying, and I'm scared
of heights. And I went skydiving, had the best time
of my life, and I'm actually going back in less
than a week. I'm skydiving again, and I'm going with
my husband, who is terrified out of his mind. Like
I tell my kids, there's fun on the other side
of fear. And I'm a big believer. When you face
(11:24):
your fears, they no longer become fears.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
That's where some real growth happens when you do face
your fears. Now you've already done it once. Has he
ever done it?
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Since? He's scared of it? Oh, he's not this first time.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Oh he's terrified. And I'm a little nervous. I'm not
telling him, but I'm a little nervous. Hopefully he's not
listening right this second.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I'll just say I got a secret for you. He's
going here there.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah, Well, because we were supposed to go this week
and something happened and they changed the date and we're
going on Monday. When you've changed the dates with me,
I don't like that because I'm superstitious, and I'm like,
why did we change the date.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
I'm sure nothing's going to go wrong.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Don't looking like that. Don't even try to instill fear me.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
I'm sure everything will be Just come with me. There's
nothing as bad as gonna happen. Be all good.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
You know what I told my husband, You're gonna land regardless.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Now. One to ten, How scared is he? Oh?
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Off the charts, there's not a number that hits the
fear that he feels right now.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Oh, you're gonna see some real growth. Then have you
ever faced the fear? If you have, what was it,
what did you learn from it? Sound off? One eight
hundred and five seven zero nine six nine zero. It's
Grammy and Sarah Lee ninety six point nine the cat
Christopher from Charlotte's on the line.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
What is your fear? Sound off? Actually, my sons want
to tell you his fear? All right, yeah, hit us.
What's your son's name?
Speaker 3 (12:44):
James?
Speaker 4 (12:45):
James Allen? James Allen, my fear. I do not like
blood in my mouth, so I kind of and I
don't like the feeling when you lose cheats, and I
really don't like and also I have.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
A least we got the fear of pull and teeth.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
How old, are you, James?
Speaker 4 (13:07):
I am nine years old.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
So I have a seven year old and a ten
year old and one of them loves to pull teeth
because the tooth fairy gives them money. So that's the
positive side of that, right.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Well, Hey, we got to listen to you guys every morning.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
James is very adamant about that.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
James, you are our favorite listener. Thank you so much
for waking up with us. Are you on your way
to school? What great are you learn sir? We'll have
the best day today in third grade?
Speaker 1 (13:39):
And we love you so much, you guys, and James
good news.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
You can talk to your dad about this. But I
just looked up the inflation prices on teeth. It's one
hundred dollars per tooth, now, buddy, So you're you're in
good company.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Oh man, I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (13:53):

Shark swimming in dark water with sharks. So do you

Speaker 2 (14:20):
My ankles and that's about the extent of it.
Speaker 1 (14:22):

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Well, Alicia, thank you for sharing your fear and waking
up with us. Hope you have a good day.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Yeah you too, Thanks so much.
Speaker 3 (14:34):

Speaker 3 (14:47):
If you have a fear and you want to share
it and you don't have time to call in, please
head over to Instagram. It's ninety six point nine a
cat graham By and Seraly ninety six point nine the cat.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
What's your name? Where are you calling from? My name
is Aaron and I'm calling from Monroe, North CA, Carolina.
What's your biggest fear?
Speaker 3 (15:02):
My biggest fear.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
It sounds crazy, but I'm so scared of chainsaws and
the noise that they make.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
I do not like them.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Do you have childhood trauma from chainsaws like a movie?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Yes. One year on Halloween I went trick or treating
and a guy came out from a corner of a
house to scare the kids that were walking. And it
has traumatized me.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Forever into adulthood. What a terrible man. Oh, that's something
my dad would do. It's funny to the adults, not
funny to the kids. No, I will take off running
if I hear one. Oh, thank you for sharing your
fear with guys.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Thank you have a great day, you too, buys Graham
By and Saraly ninety six minutes. No, soopcat Country is
not fearful. I'm not scared of that. More music on
ninety six point nine The Cat. The wildest thing you
will hear today is Graham b and Sarah Lee.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
I don't know. I'm kind of on the fence. I
don't think this is that wild.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
You only read one sentence to me, correct fired up.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
So September is national take a Man on a Date month.
Many experts are recommending that the budget range for this,
which I think is very worthy date this is three
hundred to five hundred dollars for that date.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
And where did they get that number from?
Speaker 1 (16:13):
You?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Name a recent date that you've taken a girl on
that you've spent three hundred to five hundred dollars on
that date.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Grandbun experts suggest a budget of three hundred to five
hundred so sure that men feel valued and appreciated. I
think it's very reasonable. I thought, what a lovely gesture
for September.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
So boys, stand.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Up, stop stop? How many times, well, I'm not dating
in your past, have you spent five hundred dollars? I'm
not talking about anniversaries. I'm not talking about birthdays, Valentine's Day? Okay,
just a random date?
Speaker 1 (16:53):
How many times in my life?
Speaker 4 (16:55):
Most?
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Multiple?
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Five hundred dollars?
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Yeah, definitely multiple, on multiple occasions. I've done some dates
before just because yeah, on on, with no occasion attached
to it. Yeah, of course, five hundred dollars. I've definitely
done that on multiple occasions in my life.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Well, you've got I hate to tell you, guys, it
is twenty twenty five, and ladies, don't you dare get
that wallet out and pay five hundred dollars for some
man unless you are married to him. The devil is
a lie.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
So I think what this is I think this article
and these experts again I'm reporting they maybe they are,
maybe they aren't, but I think they're operating under the
premise that men pay for dates ninety nine percent of the.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Time, as they should.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Yeah, so I think the one date that they're saying,
take a man, the budget is a little higher because
it's just once. I think that's what they're operating under.
That count as the wildest thing.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yeah, could you see how upset I am.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
I think it's absolutely ludicrous. Yeah, there's just it's just
a recommendation.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
It's not a hard all you small greatments, because how
angry you are at it.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
The audacity to tell a woman how much money she
says should spend on a man.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Again, not telling, recommending to recommending. Yeah, that is.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
To a woman the way we hear it and what
is being said, I hear you should spend this amount.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yeah, just recommendation, A very healthy, nice recommendation.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Well, thank you for your recommendation, experts, but I'm not
accepting it.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
That's the wildest thing you will hear today. Ninety six
point nine The Cat ninety six point nine The Cat,
