Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm a little nervous to introduce this next gentleman. Dustin
Lynch is in the building, one of my favorite planet.
We've done a lot together. We have done a lot
to get a lot of fun together.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I wanted to see.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
I was like, how is he going to react with
Graham bum because if you haven't seen, we prank you.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
He played rank on you.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
He did that. Did it well?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Somebody played a major part in that.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
I made a few calls. Yeah, of course.

Speaker 5 (00:25):
And I was so stoked and let down at the
same time because Kane's like, hey, man, I've got this
song I want to collab on. Come to the house,
you know. And I'm like, oh my god, yes, like
that's huge for me. And then I get there and
a freaking gorilla runs out the garage at me.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
What were you thinking it? Because didn't you like try
to jump the fence? If I remember know.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
What he spotted it. He's too smart, which is like.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
If somebody is in a gorilla suo coming after me, thought.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
If anybody's gonna have gorilla, it's cane, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
And now Blake Shelton definitely could pull it off because
I've been to his farm, But like maybe, and then
I saw I was like this, there was some belcrow
or something on the front. But then it's like, okay,
that's Kane in the gorilla suit. So I was like,
I want to play along. I had no clue it
was a TV show.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, that is so funny.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
I just thought it like they were. It was Kane
and his band having fun with me. I had no
clue that there are cameras.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
I would think it's a crazy person in a gorilla suit.
I wouldn't think Kane and he was too smart.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
And the best part is Kane heard it, Like when
we jumped off the fence, he like buckled his knee
and heard his day.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
So I kind of got him back a little bit. Yeah,
that's nice when we do this in a lot of times.
And you know this because we started hanging out very
early on and we try to shed light on artist music. Yeah,
you've had success where I feel like people are very
familiar and we can always raise more awareness. That always
bring in more fans. But I do want to take
a second to share something about Dustin Lynch, the consistency
of friendship over the years, hard times with a girl.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Dustin's been there times in his career. Dustin's been there
and vice versa.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
By the way, yeah, so on your couch like during COVID,
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
He let me stay with him for a few weeks
and COVID brought my dog Kevin was there.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
He Yeah. So just one of the most steady if.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You're looking for friendships and relationship in your life, steady,
God never waivers ever.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I think everybody knows your music is amazing, and I
love that Graham pulls the curtain back and shares who
you are at a person, because a lot of times
the listeners don't know that side.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Well, what's so fun about country music in the genre
as a whole is we get to meet so many
cool people all over the country and world now.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
From different walks of life.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
But you end up forming these friendships and bonds over
fun stuff and then you get to go do and
go through the not so fun stuff together, right, and Uh,
to have that same same with him if cursed on
his couch out when he was out in California, yea,
to have like a legit friend in La which I've
never had and probably whatn't have had, Yeah, had it
not been for where he was at the time.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
It's like, that's really cool. It's awesome. Dusts everybody. We're
waiting for that MTK collab, but it's a conversation for never.
Thank you Grayland, James bag luck.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
He never left, right bro, that's right. Hey, I had
a great time out there with you guys.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Yeah. Fresh.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
So that's my first time ever being at Coyote Joe's.
I got to yeah, sign the wall, and it was
impression going in, impression going out. I just heard this
a great time, and you know, you you pull up
on the venue and you're like, what is going on
in here?

Speaker 7 (03:23):
And you get in there, You're like, oh my gosh,
this is just a It looks like roadhouse.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
In there, and I never thought of that.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
And then after you performed at Kyotie Joe's, I went
and got my hair done. All the girls at this line,
every single one of them, and their gorgeous girls are like, I.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Love Grayland James, And I was like, I know you.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
I asked you because water at the wedding, that's all you.
And Shelby first, that's right, Shelby, North Carolina, that's right.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
And then I'm like, is this a true story? Grayland?

Speaker 3 (03:48):
You got to give me the scoop and then now
you released apart two.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
This is like R Kelly in the closet.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
That's right, No, that's kind of I've seen that comment
a lot, you know, I think that, Uh, it's my
first time putting out a song that was yeah, my life,
and I felt I felt like my life was too
original to write about because it's been a little bumpy.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
But uh, yeah, I've been.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
I asked the song say, but yeah, I put that
song out kind of not knowing what people would think
if it would be really relatable. But then you know,
I've heard a lot of those stories of just people
talking about it all the time, and it's been it's
been a game changer.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
When you put the video of you showing your dad
or playing the song for your.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Dad, I die, I died.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
I'm sure your dad.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
I mean it looked like he was trying to get
a video with my mom, but there was too many
cuss words going on that thing.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, always happened this way, But what has been more
I don't want to say rewarding, but like performing this
song or getting people's reaction to the song, because it's
a pretty heavy reaction, you know.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Yeah, it's it's been.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
Crazy bro like both for sure.

Speaker 6 (04:45):
I mean I think what's been really cool is, you know,
I come from being a songwriter. First I got here,
wrote songs for other people and hits, yeah after hit.
I've been really blessed to have that. But you know,
if I've got to hear people sing those songs really loud,
but it's not been that way for the songs to
put out so far, and this has been the one that, like,
it's just I can't even hear myself, you know, for
people singing this so loud.

Speaker 7 (05:04):
So that's been really cool. And then yeah, the reaction
for my peers.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
I mean, every time I open shows at radio shows,
I came round, I don't really okay that well, he.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Just walked by me.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
He's like what yeah, so uh Yeah, it's it's been
I've both been really cool. I'm just blessed to have
a song that you know, people are gravitating towards.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I love that you're finally getting this moment because you
have seriously written so many hits. And then when I
saw you perform at Cardie Joe's, literally there wasn't one
person in the crowd not singing my song.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
It was wild.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
It was loud as hell in there, and I can't
wait to get back.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I mean, I hate the situation, Grayland. I hate the situation.
That's the hits. At least I got to write about it,
you know, and that's what music is all about.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Well, enjoy this amazing you Are you going out to
play or you get to stay in town?

Speaker 6 (05:47):
You know, I'm going to the bem My Awards yea,
which is great, but I'm going to hang out with
some buddies there. But yeah, just hitting the after parties,
you know, and uh, we can't wait.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
I can't wait to hear the song that the after
party is awesome. That's awesome. Thank you guys. We're going
to go right here in the.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Middle Mitchell Timpenny in the building. What I want to
start this out? I haven't even told you this true story.
I was talking to a young lady. Yeah, and she
at the beginning stages of this relationship. They said, oh,
what do you do that while work in country music?

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Country music?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
So we do a FaceTime and she says, if you
can name this song, I'll agree to go to dinner
with you.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Oh wow, Okay, all tell the truth about you man,
it did get me a date. I'm honored by that. Yeah,
it went well, It went well that when you were.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Walking in, He's like, we've got Mitchell timpinny. I guarantee
he's gonna have on Jordan's.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I look down. I'm like, how do you know his?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
His?

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Mitchell and I go back. Yeah, we know each other
a long time man's man, and I love Mitchell. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (06:50):
I gave the boots up early in my career because
I kept slipping on stage, so I went straight up
Jordan's and uh never looked back.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Well, this one, this one sings a bunch of your
stuff and he does not see a ton. She gets
tired of me being like, got listen to this. Listen.
She was looking forward to you, and I was like,
wait till you meet me, till he is your so kind,
thank you well.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
And I was told I told Graham, actually I met
you on the Jason Audane tour.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
And my son's name is Bear, which is a really
weird name.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
That's an awesome name.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I said you were the first artist because I would
always take him to concerts and he had a lanyard
on it, and You're like, you want me to sign that.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
That's what you never forgotten that it was years, like
maybe three years ago.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Yeah, it's almost Yeah, probably two or three years ago.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
He's still hanging up in his rooms.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Oh that's the time. I said, Hey, well, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
If you could pick someone that you could just hand
pick out of a hat like, Oh, I'd love to
work with him in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
What comes them on? Man?

Speaker 8 (07:38):
I mean, you know, my my all, my hero always
is going to be John Mayer. I'd love to do
something with John Mayer. I don't know how to be so,
I don't know him personally. I know his manager a
little bit, and I just i'd love to meet him first.
Would be awesome. But John Mayer, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Favorite John May or someone to cover to cover. Yeah,
it's so funny.

Speaker 8 (07:56):
I ain't done it in a while, but the other
night at a show someone asked for bodies of one
of them, which is pretty fun. But slow Dancing in
Burning Room is always my favorite song and so so easy,
so easy to say. My my favorite.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Probably rehearse, But good answer, Mitchell, Tiffity, everybody.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Hey, thanks man, I appreciate it. Yeah,
