President Biden took long awaited action on the border by signing an executive order that would limit the number of asylum requests when daily crossings reaches a certain threshold. The order takes effect after a seven day average reaches over twenty five hundred illegal crossings a day between ports of entry. Many are wondering why now and how will this impact both legal and illegal crossings?
