A recent FOX News poll shows that Americans are losing confidence in the country’s institutions and becoming less proud of their country. Many blame this trend on the nation's increasing political polarization. The Biden administration insists that the system is colorblind, but they emphasize that it aims to address racial disparities in American healthcare. Opponents of the plan argue that hospitals may have the discretion to choose which patients are more "deserving" of a transplant.
