Vice President Kamala Harris has secured the support of enough delegates to be the presumptive Democratic nominee for President. Now she hits the campaign trail, with record levels of fundraising in just one week, after being endorsed by President Biden. Democrats were previously worried about how President Biden being on the ballot would impact Congressional races, but since Vice President Harris has taken center stage, polling and fundraising has improved. Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee Richard Hudson (R-NC-9) joins the Rundown to discuss how having the Vice President at the top of the ticket impacts Congressional races, why fundraising has become such an important factor in 2024, and he weighs in on the Biden administration’s efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.
