Sanctuary city mayors from New York, Denver, Chicago, and Boston testified before Congress on Wednesday as they answered questions on their policies regarding illegal migrants. The mayors were defiant, often clashing with Republican lawmakers in defending their "sanctuary" status. During his address to Congress on Tuesday, President Donald Trump broke the news that the ISIS-K terrorist responsible for the Abbey Gate bombing in 2021 was arrested. The attack killed thirteen American troops, and Mohammaed Sharifullah landed in Virginia earlier this week to face charges.
