Here he is Frank Sinatra. Poor Rise, poor ries, poor lies.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Believe it or not, that is not live, no way, No,
I know, it's hard to believe. That's an old recording.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Oh well, old blue Eyes.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
I grew up with that Billy Had. You grew up
with Marty Robbins. I grew up with Frank Sinatra. You
grew up with Hank Williams. I grew up with Dean Martin.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Martin too, but mostly in westerns.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
What's the effage between white trash and Italian trash? Pretty similar,
I would say so.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah. The food.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
I think we have better food than you guys, maybe,
but you guys have probably got better aim. Oh yeah, yeah,
for sure, definitely.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah. We're better at hiding a dead body.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
You guys are better at fishing, You guys would probably
find the dead body in the lake.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Probably pull it up either Yeah, Dad, it's in there somewhere.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
The other dead body ruining my fishing day.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Should have used more concrete bricks. I don't know what
we were thinking.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
We watched earlier. We was talking about Trump appearing in
front of the military earlier over there and wherever he
is in Middle East somewhere, and so we got to
thinking about some of the old Bob Hope shows. Who
was who was one of the gals that was up
there with him? It was not rock Hill Welch, although
he did take her out there. Oh uh. Connie Stevens,
(01:37):
M boy. Let me tell you there was a time
and I was a young young man. I didn't even
fully understand all of the things that were happening to
me every time I'd look at Connie Stevens on TV.
But something about her made something about me get excited.
You know, you could still have your chance with Connie Stephens.
(01:58):
She is eighty six years young today, is that right? Yeah,
she's a young woman there. Maybe you still look pretty good,
don't you.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Master sure for an eighty six year old, I mean,
she's just fanta actually her birthday is in August, but
still she's eighty six years old and she is still alive.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I do note that the the Bob Hope Tours always
seem to feature a beauty queen, you know, like a
Miss America or Miss.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Universe or whoever it was, right, yeah, Miss Usa.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, and the troops always love that, of course, and
then they would interview her and you know, make a
few baldy jokes about how the men sure do appreciate
seeing you here. You know, there's all men back in
those days. They don't they don't do that anymore, though
they don't have the They don't objectify women at USO shows.
That's a shame, man. It does great American tradition.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
And let's not get ourselves.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Donald Trump making America great again, that seems like something
that'd be right up his alley. He used to own
a famous beauty pageant, Miss USA, right, Miss America or
one of them, I don't know, Universe anyway. There's a
lot of controversy today involving Donald Trump, or the United
States of America or even the Pentagon supposedly getting a
Boeing aircraft from the Nation of Cutter And while that
(03:07):
will have very little effect on your life. If you're
flying domestically, here's something that could Oh what happened?
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Kicked aub a plane, kicked alv a plane, here's some money,
got kicked double plane.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Ever since the pandemic, we have seen a lot of
bad behavior on airplanes.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
And this report's probably brought to you by our friends
that get the Tea. We mentioned get the Tea occasionally
because we do want you to be healthy, and they
have very healthy natural supplements for you. But it all
starts with the life changing tea because it is a
gentle but effective cleanse for your internal body filters.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Sometimes you just got to detoxify.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
And we're not endorsing this, but some people use it
before they have to take a drug test.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
And we're not saying you should do that. I would never,
but we will tell you this.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
If you go to get the t dot com use
promo code WJ, you could save a ton of money.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Oh yeah, and I get a lot of supplements there are.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
The more you by, the more you save.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
Yes, clearly, today we take you to the Dallas Fort
Worth International Airport.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Done that that'd be the Metroplex. Oh okay, yeah, And
there in the cities. Yeah, yeah, exactly. We have a
lot of listeners there.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
We love you all.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
There is a Texas based drummer, a guy named Jamal,
and Jamal said is his name, and he's.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
A good old textures boy.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Apparently he's in a rock band called Lord Buffalo. It
sounds familiar, but I can't actually say I know their music.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
He was well.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
He was the source of sub controversy this past week
as he was on a flight to Europe and border
Patrol agents discovered he had an active arrest warrant on him.
Apparently he's a Green card holder. He's also a Mexican national,
but he lives in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
You know, you get the idea.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
And so this young man said, getting on the plane
there deciding he wants to fly Lord Buffalo drummer Jamal said,
boarded his flight at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport when
Customs and Border Patrol official detained him. The band said
that apparently he is permitted to live in the US,
but was wanted by the Lolano County Sheriff's office for
(05:08):
violating a protective order against him multiple times. That's a
felony in Texas according to the Homeland Security Department.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
So he was actually all on the plane now and
then they came and yanked him off the plane.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
The band announced him off. They yanked him off right,
He got it before.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Take off, so they didn't kick him off midflight. No,
that was pretty decent of them.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
The band announced they have been forced to cancel their
upcoming tour where the psych Psychedelic Americana Band was scheduled
to tour Oslo in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
They say this is the worst thing to happen to
Sweden since every day of their existence.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, there are dozens of Europeans now that are going
to have to go without some lord Buffalo. Yeah, how
are they going to live without psychedelic americanas This is
so heartbreaking.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I hate to be that guy.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
But isn't psychedelic music and Americano music and then like
exactly the opposite. I don't know, Americana would be like
Ray Wiley Hubbard, right, but that sounded like America to me.
Psychedelic music would be like, you know, not that something else.
Fontaine's DC, which I'm sure is none of you have
ever heard of anyway, they said, we are devastated by
the situation. Lord Buffalo and Yamal have been forced into
(06:22):
says their representative. No one should be pulled off a
plane and jailed for simply trying to travel and make.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Art with their band. That's not what he got arrested
for them.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
That's just what he was doing at the time.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
You know whatever, So sad, What have I told you?
Speaker 4 (06:36):
The fact that he was doing something while he got
arrested had nothing to do with why he was arrested.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
He moved to America as a child in the nineteen eighties.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
His parents moved their family out of Mexico City following
an earthquake. He is currently employed as a parent professional
for a middle school and high school team at the
Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin, Texas.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Well.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Alan anyway, well, he's currently employed by arrested because he's
in jail.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Department of Homeland.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Security Border Patrol agents get them, Yeah they did. Oh yeah,
Holman and his whole crowd. Man, they ain't taking a
minute off, much less a day off. They are going
after I mean, they fox knew around a little deal
last night about just the people that Holman's crowd Homeland Security,
you know, roused just yesterday and everybody from they rounded
(07:24):
up some folks from Houston, rounded up some folks a
bunch of different cities. And they ain't playing you looking
at that face, he ain't playing.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, he was on.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Tom Homan was on yesterday with Jake Tapper talking about
the controversy.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Between him and AOC for first of.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
All, you can't intimidate me, he come on, give me
a break.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
I was enforcing him.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
I was wearing a green uniform barbitral agent for five
years before she was England born. I had more than
three decades enforcing the immigration law before she came a
member of Congress. I worked for six presidents. I seen policy.
I've seen hundreds of policies. Some work, some didn't. But
you can't deny the success of the Trump administration when
it comes to border security again, the most secure board
in history of the station. And I said from day one,
(08:06):
and she knows this, you can not support ICE, Shame
on you. You can support sang shore cities, shame on you.
But you can't cross the line. You can't noally impede
ICE law enforcement officers that is a felony. You can't
harbor and conceal. Noringly harbor and conceal it will go
from ICE. That is a felony. And you certain certainly
can't commit criminal trespass, you know.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
And as far as New York her district, this.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Administration has done more to protect her district than she has.
The number of criminal islands we took off the streets
to New York made her community much safer. She ought
to be thanking the members of this administration, the men
win the ICE who protect this country and make her
community safer.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
So you know, you know, that reminds me of she
didn't got a brain in her head.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Do you remember when she had a protest against ICE
several years back, and the same week she protested ICE,
they arrested a Nazi war criminal that had been hided
up out in her district, right and she made the
point that I should never come into this community and
arrest anyone. You shouldn't do that, and anyone, not even
the Nazi war criminal.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
I mean, it just crazy what they try to get
away with out there, ain't I kind of think if
y'all won't start it, I'll do it start. What lock
her up?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Lock her up? Birthday cake? I just ate a birthday cake.
Birthday nobody. They sell them at the grocery store. You
can get them any time you want, even if it's
not your birthday.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Stay tuned for more. Waltman Johnson.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
There's always protests happening, there's always outrage over something. But
the Starbucks protest happening right now, twelve hundred Starbucks employees
protesting over their new dress code policy is probably the
dumbest protest of the year.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Of all the protests.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
I it's not about making more money, it's about the
dress code. What is the dress code? What changed?
Speaker 2 (09:56):
What happened?
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Okay, so for a while there they could wear whatever
they want, but they were supposed to wear what.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Is it an apron, the.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Green apron, the Starbucks apron.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Sure, now they've been told to wear a black T
shirt instead of whatever they want, T shirt or button down.
It says black T shirt. It says they're going to
give them all two black T shirts.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Oh wait, they're providing the black T shirts and they're
still angry. Some of them are mad that they haven't
received their black T shirt yet. Well, some of these
restaurants that want they're waitresses or waiters to wear black shirts,
tell them they have to buy them, right, Yeah, you
go to work here, you're gonna need to purchase a
pair of khaki pants or a black you know, button
(10:37):
down or whatever. And it's like, if you don't want
that job, then that's that's what comes with it.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Well, that's exactly what this is.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
You need a solid black shirt with either khakis, black
or blue denim bottoms. You said Starbucks is providing the
shirts for them, and they're still upset. Yes, just crazy. Yeah,
apparently some people are still waiting on their black T shirts.
We were told that we were going to get a
swing line stapler. Yeah, it's not it's not the right kind.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
So I don't understand why Starbucks baristas are unionized. If
this is your career, being a barista at Starbucks.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
That's that's your goal in life, to retire when you're
sixty five or sixty seven or whatever it is. By
then it might be eighty five.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Shouldn't your plan be to not be a barista at
some point? Why do you need a union representative for that?
You're making tips while.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
You want the people to complain about minimum wage at
the McDonald's or whatever. That's not supposed to be your
life's career.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
God, I would hope not. No.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
By the way, for those of you who have seen
the video, and maybe you've seen it, Kenny, have you
seen the video of a car towing another car down
down the road and the cars just you know, all
over the place, whacking. I don't know if you've seen it, Swack. Well,
we have to have to take credit for this one.
(11:53):
I've got the video right here. People want to want
We're streaming live on x right now. If people want
to see what we're talking about. Okay, if you have
seen the footage, yeah, this is a woman driving the car,
the white car that's towing that SOB. She's she's from
Houston and she's towing her boyfriend's car with a chain.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Is he in the vehicle?
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah? They hooked the chain up to the back of
the car. Oh my god, I pulled it backwards, which
is not how it's done. And his car's all over
the road and apparently, yes, he was in the driver's
seat hanging on for dear life.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Nobody was hurt, apparently, But it didn't do any of
the cars any good, I'll tell you that. And there's
that thing.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, it happened. And here we're watching the video.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Yeah, there went the You could see the Houston skyline
right there.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Wow, how about that? And there's the boy Scouts of America.
So are they on six'? Ten is that where they?
Speaker 2 (12:42):
ARE i? THINK i wreck? Around, yeah, wow that's. Remarkable
it looks really. Bad oh my.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
God the car gets completely sideways multiple. TIMES i don't
even know how it didn't flip. Over, okay so they
hooked it to the back of the. Car they towed it.
Backwards that's obviously. Bad the car seems to be very badly.
Damaged luckily no one was. Hurt here's one of the
witnesses talking about what. Happened you, like lose a, control you,
know when his tid blew. Out she was trying to
(13:11):
talk to, him but he's the one to end.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Up, oh it's.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Terrible so the woman's towing the, car he was trying
to talk To she was trying to talk to. Him
maybe he couldn't talk back because he was in that
car feeling throw it around in. There he thought he
was going to. DIE i don't, know that'd be my.
Guess my guess would be fear of death was preventing
him from having a rational conversation with.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
You, NOAH i, no you know you can make fun
of a woman's doing the, Driving.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
But, OKAY i. Will i'll make fun of, Me, YEAH i.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
WILL i want to know who was responsible for hooking
that call up? Back probably the. Dude i'm thinking it
might have been the, Dude so go ahead and make
fun of him.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Too does that strike here is something a woman would? Do? Uh,
yeah hooking it? Up how would she do? That women
don't know how to connect. Things they didn't do it.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
RIGHT i, mean you run a chain up on it,
there but you don't put it on the.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Back they ran a train on. Her, SORRY i thought
you were talking about. Something that's my.
