Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, if you enjoy the You walt On Johnson Show
like we do, then you might also enjoy the Pursuit
of Happiness show in the afternoon with oh Kenny Webster there.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
And as a matter of fact, I think, do we
have a clip? Can we play a clip?

Speaker 1 (00:16):
A new study claims that smartphones are ruining our brains
at unprecedented speed. The study consisted of Joe Biden. I
think that's what they did in other news researchers, this
is awful.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
In advance, researchers say sexual activity activates more brain regions
than puzzles. All right, great, but I prefer Grandma and
Grandpa stick with Sudoku when I visit. I mean, that's
just me. Everybody, Hi, welcome back from Bray. Good to
be here with you. If you were out on the
road with us this weekend, maybe you saw us in
Denham Springs, Baton Rouge or Hattiesburg. Thank you so much

(00:52):
for coming out to our sold out comedy shows this weekend.
It was very awesome. People keep asking when's the next
Houston show. It is October fifth. That's Sunday, October fifth
at Bad Astronaut Brewing Company in between now and then,
we have more shows in Waco and Memphis, so we'll
keep you posting on all that. But in the meantime,
we have problems in Houston, Texas. You remember, not long

(01:13):
ago a group of over a dozen Antifa like extremists
stormed an ICE facility and what they did there was
I mean, you heard about it on the news.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
They opened fire. It was what you'd call an insurrection.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
And similar thing happened to a CDC facility in Georgia over
the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Someone opened fire on government. A cop died.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
I mean, it's really you know, you could say that, oh,
it's just people that are mad at Trump. No, they're
killing people. This is seriously bad. Someone needs to stop them.
And if your response to that is while I live
in Houston, what do I care? They're doing it in
Houston too. Okay, nobody's died yet, but the early information,
the intel we're receiving, seems to indicate something has been

(01:57):
planned here. There's a group called social the Party for
Socialism and Liberation. Now, to be clear, they haven't committed
a crime yet, but a group of people met together
at a recent meeting and talked about how they were
going to target ICE operations in Houston. I'm not gonna
suggest that they're guilty of some crime that hasn't been

(02:17):
committed yet, but it sounds like they were planning something
pretty bad. Joseph Trimmer is an undercover journalist for Texas
scorecard dot Com and he did exactly what his job
title suggests. He went undercover with cameras to expose these people.
What he learned is that they're teaming up. They're partnering
together to go after federal agents for the crime of

(02:40):
upholding the law. Yesterday, literally yesterday, I was on a
call at Memorial City Mall because there were a report of.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Six ICED agents.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
That's where we think the real option used to get organized.
Because our enemy is really organized.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I'm gonna pause it right here.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
They're talking about literally yesterday, I was on a callis
I'm on at Memorial City Mall and they weren't even
at the LOLO line.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Man.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
They were planning an attack and they were going to
go arrest llego immigrants, so we got to stop them.
I called Joseph Trimmer from Texas scorecard dot Com to
ask if this was really as crazy as he describes,
and well, Joseph is it.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Well, it's certainly alarming behavior.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
As you said, I wanted to cover at the meeting
organized by the Party for Socialist Socialism and Liberation UH,
and they're in partnership with a coalition of left wing
naos called Houston Leads.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Houston Leads is.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
Who is hosting UH and managing the network of volunteers.
Very interesting. One point to make about that is there are.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
NGOs that are part of this coalition that.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Harris County our tax dollars have gone to fund by
the millions and millions and millions of dollars. Baker Ripley,
who's a member of this Houston Leads coalition, among all
of the worst of the worst, they're all there, and
you you know, you found them through county business.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
And it's kind of.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Outrageous that, you know, here we have a organizer's a
lead dude here in Houston saying, Hey, my buddy's in California.
The PSL over there organized this group over there. They
have five hundred, five hundred volunteers and they successfully they've

(04:36):
successfully prevented illegal aliens from being arrested. He specifically mentioned
the platform in California, Ventura County where, according to this organizer,
caught an undercover video, his friends confronted ICE agents, resulting
in illegal aliens not being arrested and deported that would

(05:00):
otherwise have been. He says he's modeling his efforts in
Houston after that, which is extremely concerning. As we know
the Donald Donald Trump had to deploy the National Guard
to protect ICE agents, and a lot of people don't
know that in Texas that is also happening. National Guard

(05:23):
members are already embedded with ICE operations keeping security.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
So what is extremely like? So, so what what these.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
People will face when they actually go and target in
mass and an ICE operation is they're gonna find a
whole bunch of federal officers backed up by soldiers, and
somebody's going to be arrested or shot. And it's on
outrage that they're allowed to do this completely in public,
and the authorities don't seem to care, don't don't seem

(05:54):
to be doing anything about it, and.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Worse, our tax dollars are funding it.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, I mean that is pretty wild.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
And you called the ICE agent, you called the ICE
tipline to explain this to them, and they were pretty
accommodating weren't they.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Yeah, the ICE agent seemed concerned. He was very polite,
very welcoming.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
You know, he appreciated the information. After all, we're saying
your guys are being targeted. So you know it, had
that gone a different way, that would have been its
own news story.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Of course, you.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Know, I hadn't tested the sized tip line before, so
you know, it was kind of a test also, but
it it. You know, he took the report and said
he was going to afford the undercover video to his
ICE friends in Houston. So hopefully somebody can do something
about this because it's it's you know, people risk here

(06:56):
of legal consequences. In fact, this in the undercover video,
one of the organizers says that by doing what they're
doing that without a doubt, they will be confronted by
law enforcement. And so I don't know what else I
can do to say.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
I mean, I'm doing the.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
Job of the police right now in some weird way.
It's like, guys, this group was announced in public in.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Front of the.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Detention center cour Civic. That's how I even knew this
was happening, in a protest that was surrounded surrounded by
Houston police officers.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
So excuse me.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
They probably already knew about it, and they hand out
all of these QR codes saying please join our group.
So I scanned it and joined, and that's how I
attended the meeting. And there were no Houston Police Department
officers that I could tell.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
Maybe they were undercover as well, But.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Based on what happened when I actually called the Houston
Police Department to report this, uh and.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Get a comment from their media line.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
I don't think they give uh, you know, one care
about this. In fact, they uh, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
I don't know. It's disturbing.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
You should maybe look at that clip because it's a
it's bizarre.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
It's disturbing.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
And we just gave these people a race, like not
a not a small race.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Like we just some police department.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
You know.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
We've praised Mayor.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Witmer for his fearless leadership on this and what is
going on?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
All right, Well, let's listen to a little bit of
the audio. This is you calling the Houston Police Department.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
I don't know what you're saying. What'd you Tenancy?

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Well, I sent an email to the mayor and to
the police chief.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
So you're saying.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
That, but I can't see with their emails. Well, if
you want to, if you want to speak directly to
the city, you're going to act city company. You have
to reach out to the city of Communications director.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
So the Houston Police Department is not interested really in
if ICE agents are being targeted or physically assaulted, or
if this group is operating in Houston. It's really not your.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
Job, HBD focus is on Primes Committee in the City
of Houston, all right, and anything has to do with
immigration and ICE. You have to reach out to the
ICE about the full comment.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
But but if so, Houston Police would not protect on
ICE agents.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
We didn't comment on what is what is? What is?

Speaker 6 (09:45):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (09:46):
What?

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Maybe we comment on a flash straight flat And again
I can't speak speculations.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
I've sent you, and I've sent you a video showing
this group saying they're targeting eyes physically to attack them
here in Houston.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I'm gonna pause it right there, Joseph, I got to
think if the roles were reversed, if I said information
about how gang members were going to attack Houston Police Department,
I would assume they'd want to know about.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
It, right.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
I assume that the federal government would step in to
protect the Houston Police Department if this situation was reversed.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Joseph.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
I want to invite you in studio later this week.
I know you're doing work on this. You've gone undercover.
We have We're on the radio right now explaining this
to tens of thousands of people around the Houston area.
We have, you know, on a good day, we have
over one hundred thousand people listen to this podcast. I
am shocked at the fact that this is so many
people know about this and nothing is getting done. It's

(10:48):
not like your reach is and Texas Scorecard has a
lot of readers. Is there nobody out there that cares?
Can you come in later this week and do an
update on this. I want to know more about your work.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Look, I I'm happy to do that. It is an outrage.
The video, the undercover video on my Twitter account, my
ex account must have like two hundred and.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Fifty thousand views. So there's no there's no.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Possibility here that the CD leadership hasn't seen it. In fact,
I would bet that the state leadership.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Has seen this. It's not you know, some of the Feds.
That's a lot of views.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
For and not only that I tagged all of them
in the in the report, so yeah, they.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Know Wow, Joseph Trimmer, Texas scorecard dot Com.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
We're gonna keep covering this story throughout the week.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Coming up more Kenny Webster's Pursuit of Happiness. A safe
space for those who love liberty and try not to
take themselves too seriously, even if your name is Karen
