That'll be like eight thirty in the morning Central time
because it's later over there. And then I guess the
Vikings are just gonna stay over that area because the
next week the Vikings play in the Cleveland Browns in London.
So why would you fly all the way to Dublin,
which is, you know, right next door to London, pretty close,
and then fly all the way home to go back

a week later.

I think they probably just stay over there.

to back.

Then after that they got.

then the Falcons get to travel to Berlin, Germany week ten,
and then the Washington Redskins Commanders and the Miami Dolphins
and go to Madrid, Spain.

But that's like mid November, so it's a long ways
off yet. Wow.

Now baseball not really great news for the Astros. Huh No,
but it's always fun to watch. Isn't that just terrible news?
In the Mariner's law too?

Right? I think the Astros are gonna have to win
every game to make it to the playoffs here, or
they could end up in a wild card game. But
I don't know if they have enough winns they're gonna be.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
They're gonna get in the wild card, I believe, because
I don't think they're gonna come up from four back
with five games left. And it's what really hurts is
that the Marlins need to lose. Right, Mariners, Mariners, that's them.
I just start with the Seattle sure them, right, Seattle
needs to lose and Houston needs to win. Every time

that happens, that's a that's a game forward. But who
do the Mariners get to play? Who the Rockies?
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Oh? The worst team in baseball? Team in baseball this
year anyway? Yeah, they're terrible now. Astros lost to the
Athletics yesterday. That team won't even exist next year.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
No, Braves play in the Nationals today at eleven am.
That'll be fun to whint. I love a day game.
And it's noon Eastern where they play. And Rangers just
lost to the Twins yesterday.

So yeah, Rangers ain't gonna be considered for the for
the wild card.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I don't see that happening for show. But I will
say this about my favorite sport. Golf champion Scottie Scheffler
has revealed the Trump regularly sends him a congratulatory text
after winning. And I just feel like golf is America's sport.
I've always loved golf, you always have.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
You have just been effusive over your love of the
playing eighteen holes.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
If not Scottie Scheffler, then Phil Mickelson, John Daly. I mean,
those guys are just as American as apple pie and
couscous there. You do love them all right. Being a
little more baseball news here today, Chicgo Cubs Matt Shaw
defends attending a Charlie Kirk memorial. He said, any backlash
against me and my endorsements is okay, it was worth attending. Okay,

good on him. He went to the Turning Point USA
memorial on Sunday. People are mad at him. He gave
him a giant middle finger. Speaking of giant middle fingers,
Keith Oberman is apologizing for his unhinged threats against CNN
Scott Jennings. It's not really sports news, but it kind
of is because he's not really that much in sports now.
Isn't that why Keith Oberman's famous? But now, as he

started out, yeah, now he only gets in the news
when he goes on social media and threatens to hurt somebody,
which is usually about once a week or so.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah. Also back to football for a minute. I don't
know if you I'll heard you at in an Oklahoma
State coach Mike Gundy has been fired after over two
decades running a show for the Cowboys. The most they
call him in Oklahoma State the most winning coach in
the history of Oklahoma State.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
I was a little surprised by this, but I think
he probably was too then. But this is after the
Cowboys lost to Tulsa over the week I know, one
and two start to the twenty twenty five campaign. They
lost to Tulsa. Yeah, they go hand you your welcome
papers on that one. Gundy, age fifty eight, has patrolled
the sidelines for SU for more than two decades and
over that time became the program's all time winning a coach.

That success propelled o SU to the upper ranks of
the Big twelve Conference. And now he's looking for a job. Yeah,
so what have you done lately? It's the question, Well,
you know, maybe, uhok, not for nothing here, but maybe
we could out Mike out. I mean, he knows a
lot about sports. Some people think what this show really
needs is a better sports guy. That's what a lot
of people say. Yeah, maybe we could call it Mike

Gundy and see if he wants to move to Houston.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
I don't think we should do that. Let's let's go
ahead and replace me with a white boy, and let's
see how much money I get.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Well, we're not saying well replace you.

No, Oh yeah, you just want to make him my overlord.
You want to make him to bostle me. No, this
will be one of those things where we keep paying
you to.

Not work, you know. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah.
