Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is National Roast a Suckling Pig Day, which coincidentally
is something that President Trump just called a news reporter
on Air Force one. Hey, everybody, thanks for joining us.
It's us. It's me and Steve and everyone else will
be joining us shortly.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah. You can hear them stirring. Things are happening, doors
are slamming, the house is waking up. It's really four
thirty here where we are, but five thirty where we broadcast.
So that's the situation. Everybody that doesn't have to wake
up and do a radio show this morning is covering
their ears with pillows or anything they can find to

(00:38):
shove in there so that they don't have to wake up.
Well that's their problem. Yeah, they should probably wake up.
Doesn't give you a feeling of superiority to be awake
and alive ahead of the rest.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Of the world. Yeah, yeah, And I'm at least we
tell ourselves that, right, we need that absolutely, Well, we
are here.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
We also need this coffee.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, we have coffee, and the world is still spinning
off its access. But Trump's got the wheel. Common sense
is coming back sort of. I don't know, all right,
but what was that last night? Trump gave this speech
last night, and know that we're not really sure what
the point of it was. He was talking really fast,
and it almost seems it was just kind.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Of droning on because people with us here at the
ski cabin, we were we had it on. Nobody really
seemed to be paying attention because he wasn't delivering the
style with which he normally talks.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
He didn't have the normal swagger and charisma that we
know Trump have. He seemed like he was in a hurry,
almost like he wanted to get the speech over with
so he could go to the bathroom or something. Something
I don't know, was.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Somebody making him give a speech he didn't want to.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
What was the point of.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
It, I don't know, except just one thing. He was,
you know, obviously ragging about his accomplishments, but he was
also stating clearly in his mind what is it called
puishments were which if you were the other side, the
media does for you, but they don't do that for Trump,

(02:07):
so he does it for himself.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, okay, so it was it seemed rushed, but there
was some good information tucked away in there. Whether you
like Trump or not, I'm sure this information's valid. Oh,
hang on a second here, why don't we hear anything?
Trump was talking about tax cuts and all the money
you're gonna save next year, can I get them alligan?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Next year, you will also see the results of the
largest tax cuts in American history that were really accomplished
through great, big, beautiful bill, perhaps the most sweeping legislation
ever passed in Congress. We wrapped twelve different bills up
into one beautiful bill that includes no tax on tips,

(02:47):
no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security
for our great seniors. Under these cuts, many families will
be saving between eleven thousand and twenty thousand dollars a year,
and next spring is projected to be the largest tax
refund season of altar great next year.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Sorry, I didn't mean to posit there. Sorry about that now,
of course, of all time is what he was trying
to say.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
And then the computers get democrats in the media will
come out and tell you a lot that's either not true,
or it's not important, or it's not enough, or it's
too little, or whatever they want to say. I remember
not long ago, when Biden was president, the media came
out and told us one Thanksgiving that Thanksgiving dinner this
year was going to be seven dollars less than it

(03:32):
was last year. That was a Joe Biden accomplishment there,
and it wasn't by the way, No, it wasn't true.
But then Trump announced what he called warrior dividends to
be sent to every soldier in America. Was it seventeen
hundred and seventy six dollars? I believe, I believe so. Yeah,
And of course immediately the news media starts crapping like

(03:56):
I don't know about you, but I don't know what
I'm going to do it dollars. I mean, that's just
like nothing. Maybe it wouldn't be nothing if Joe Biden
had a live inflation run like a path.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, when you print out money with no backing, that's
what happens. It's called fiat currency. We've explained this many
times on the show. Are the person listening to this
radio show is smart enough to get that? Why isn't
the rest of America?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Well, one guy did right that he has never driven
a Fiat and doesn't care for them. But I don't
think that's who we're talking about here.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Oh yeah, okay, well that guy him aside everybody else Yeah,
y'all get it all right. Things did get really expensive
under Biden, and that's fine. Of course, that was over
a year ago.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
At this point here, we're bringing our economy back from
the brink of ruin to last administration and their allies
in Congress looted our treasury for trillions of dollars, driving
up prices and everything at levels never seen before. I
am bringing those high prices down and bringing them down
very fast. Let's look at the facts. Under the Biden administration,

(04:57):
car prices rose twenty two percent in many states thirty
percent or more. Gasoline rose thirty to fifty percent. Hotel
rates rose thirty seven percent, airfares rose thirty one percent.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Now under our.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Leadership, they are all coming down and coming down fast.
Democrat politicians also sent the Court of Grocery storry, but
we are solving that too. The price of a Thanksgiving
turkey was down thirty three percent compared to the Biden
last year. The price of eggs is down eighty two

(05:31):
percent since March, and everything else is falling rapidly.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
And it's not done yet.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
But do you feel like things are cheaper? What do
you honestly think?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Yeah? I think so. I mean the few things that
I go out and buy regularly. Yeah, I don't go
to the grocery store that often anymore. I don't know
if they've actually come down, but I know they haven't
gone up quick as fast and crazily as they did
just two years ago. It's certainly not going up faster.
I'll give them.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
That.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Is it cheaper? I mean, this is anecdotal, but when
I look at my credit card statement, I don't feel
like I'm spending less. I mean, I you know, of course,
it may have more to do with what I'm doing
than what the but you know, you try to save money.
Of course, it's Christmas time. I just bought a bunch
of presents for my nieces and stuff, and you know,
you look at your credit card, Billy, You're like, oh,
that's kind of high. And I think most Americans are

(06:19):
feeling that way right now. So that begs the question.
Was that the point of this speech? Why did he
do this?

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Still still not sure about the point of the President
Trump's going to address the nation. Oh what's that going
to be all about? Okay, I'm still curious.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Still not sure why we were anyway, Look, we're not
going to talk about it all morning. In fact, I
think we've said everything there is to say about it.
There's a lot more going on that we have to
get to today. So if you're just tuning in, you've
missed nothing. We just spoke briefly about Trump's speech last night.
But Houston, Texas Harris County Lena Hidalgo getting into a
feud with the ex mayor of the city, Anise Parker,

(06:55):
the proud, strong lesbian. That should be interesting. Speaking of
female mayors, elect Heleno Moreno's inauguration banners got knocked down yesterday,
torn down, yanked down by LaToya Cantrell's crewe. They claim
it wasn't political, Oh, of course not. It was no
one else thinks so it was very petty. We'll give
you the latest on what's going on with Nick Reiner.

(07:16):
He was in court yesterday. It really seems like he's guilty.
I don't unless there's something we all don't understand about this.
The Bondi Beach Horror updates. We'll give you the latest
weird details from the Brown University shooting and a lot
more on the way. It is Thursday. It is the
Walton and Johnson Radio Network. You picked a good place
to be. Oh and at some point today, I'm told

(07:39):
we're giving away a Lamborghini. Is that correct?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I was also told that who started that news some
drunk we met at the bar yesterday. Well let's do it.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
My father worked in profanity the way other artists might
work in oils or clay. It was his true medium.
A master. Walton and Johnson Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
California continues to experience earthquake swarms. Residents are encouraged to
seek shelter underneath Gavin Newsom's hair. That's the safest place
to go, it really is.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
It's pretty serious. That's a good place to stay.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
But there was a different earthquake of sorts yesterday at
the Department of Justice after Dan Bongino, Deputy director of
the FBI, former podcaster, former Secret Service agent author, if
I'm not mistaken, decided didn't want to work for the.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Trump administration anymore. When he said he was going to
work for the Trump administration, he said he was going
to do it for a year. Uh huh, I mean
that was his thoughts going in. I remember him saying that.
And it hasn't quite been a year yet, but it's close,
so maybe.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
It seems early to me. Yeah, it does seem early,
all right. So Trump spoke about this yesterday. This is
pretty big news. And once again no audio here, Sorry everybody,
it's early again.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Dan did a great job.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
I think he wanted to go back to it, Joe.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Dan did a great job. I think he wanted to
go back to being a podcaster. Yeah, he won no
longer wanted to help run the FBI.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Did that. Well, let's face it, if you had the
choice of that or this, well we didn't really have
a choice. Nobody offered us the FBI, So yeah, we're
doing this.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Well, this does seem like an easier job than being
the number two guy.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
At the FBI. Yeah, kind of does.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
All right, So what happened? It was a good question. Obviously,
it was a bad week for MAGA. It was a
bad week for the Trump administration so far, what with
the Vanity Fair article that came out. Mess made them
all look like fools. I don't know why they let
snakes into their home, but that's what they did. But
regardless of all of that, looking at just what took
place at the FBI over the last several months, a

(09:45):
lot of people speculate this has something to do with
Jeffrey Epstein. Bongino reportedly had a heated confrontation with Attorney
General Pam Pondi regarding the Epstein documents, which were not
released as they were promised. There was some concern about
personal fallout from the Epstein disclosures. Some speculate Bongino's exit
timing aligns suspiciously with the Department of Justice's legal deadline

(10:08):
for releasing the Epstein files. Remember that vote from a
month ago. Bongino struggled to transition from podcaster to high
level law enforcement roles. You know, his being a podcast
Let's let's not get ourselves. This is not a hard
job being on the radio, being on it's fun. We
really enjoy being in charge of the FBI. That's a job,

(10:30):
that's real work.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
That's actual work. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Overall, detractors framed the resignation is evidence that Trump's picks
prioritize loyalty and media personas over competence. Some critics are saying,
maybe Dan was just never qualified to do this job.
He hired a bunch of people that were really good
at talking to cameras, But does the deputy director of
the FBI have to be good at talking to cameras.

(10:52):
I don't see Dan on TV a lot.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
No, I have noticed him doing much. I mean, I'm
sure he was working, but we just didn't see nothing
here here, nothing about it.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
You know, Judge Janine, you see her on TV all
the time. Cash Battal you see him on TV quite
a bit by And is it possible Dan does not
like Cash Battel's girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
It's possible too. Yeah, I gotta I gotta break some
news to you guys. I just want to slip in
here real quick and say, uh, MISTERO is not in
his room? What he don't think he came home last night?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Really?

Speaker 2 (11:22):
And I don't. I don't care for it. I know
he's a grown man. You can do what he wants
to do, but you know, leave a note or or
give us a heads up, send a text or something,
because now I have to worry.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Is it possible that he met a woman at the
bar or what do you think happened?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
He met a lot of women at the bar yesterday?
Were you watching?

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I know I came back here. I had to. I
had to prepare for a very important radio broadcast. Oh
I didn't know that Yeah, we were at the nug
last night. And which is uh.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Short for you know, because kids can't say those all
the syllables of a word. It's the no, prepare yourself
for this long word. The name of the.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Will it will exhaust you.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
It is the nugget, the nugget, the nugget. Yeah, but
the kids just call it the nug you know calls well,
let's just face it. They got time to say get.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
It's a it's a ski bar. It's out in the
middle of nowhere. If you leave the resort where we
are right now, and you drive for like, I don't know,
five less than ten minutes of.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Driving, let's say it's three miles.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
No, it's not very far. Then you're at a bar
and the bar is has a food truck. You can
get sliders. They're really Yeah, it's very cos I'm not
trying to pick on nobody, but I'm just nice closure, Okay.
But the point is it's not near anything. It's near
this resort. It's just there. And if you go to
the bar you can get cheap drinks, and people with

(12:47):
skis hang out after they have spent the day breaking
their own bodies and apparently.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Man, we gotta get a nice cold beer or something tasty,
and it start to he Look, you.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Know, in all the years I've been coming to this resort,
we've been and we've been doing radio from this little
room we're in right now for I don't know seven
years now, I think so, I've never once thought to
try to go get laid. It just never never occurred
to me to do that. It seemed like where I'm
always here with you guys, here my compadres.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
You know.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
But mister Owe kind of lives life by his own rules.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Didn't he though, Yeah, I think you should have a
talk with him when he gets back. If he makes it,
I don't know, Uh, you know, they might be suspicious
of his kind around here once they find out he's
from Texas.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Well, oh yeah, Texans. It's Thursday, Thursday, Thursday, the day
you used to get a jump on the weekend and
start drinking. Now you drinkday.
