Speaker 1 (00:00):
Destination in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
It's not to be in bed anymore, where it's soft
and quiet and natural and warm and peaceful and comfortable. No,
you want to get to the place where you don't
want to be. That's where you want to get. The
place you don't want to go, the office, so you
can be in your safe little cubicle there in the office.
And there's a whole cell block full of these cubicles,
and it's designed so you don't have to have a
conversation with another human being ever again. You know, maybe

(00:23):
every once in a while somebody will walk in and
everyone stands up and does that prairie dog. Then, so
you're working away until lunchtime, and finally lunch arrives, and
that's great because that's like parole for an hour.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I get to go out and eat.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Now where do you go to eat? You go to
the same place you always go. It's very convenient. You
know everybody there. But you can burn out on it.
You know, when you have too much of something you
really like, after a while, you don't like it anymore.
You don't even want to look at it anymore, Like
if you have too much Halloween candy or too much
Angelina Joe Lee because oh, you can't change the truth
by moaning out of people. It's true. I've been eating.

(00:56):
I've been eating at the same Chinese place all week long.
I got moogoog ipan coming out the Yin Yang all
you can eat and dim sum. I think today I'll
have a burrito.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Working in an office can be incredibly boring, sometimes said
you will show also it can be incredibly awkward. And
I know that because the trend is going viral of
people sharing the most awkward office moments, including stats of
how often these often these happen. Wow, they're measuring Yeah,
I love this text in four one o six one,
call us eighty eight three four three one o six one.

(01:29):
Have you ever had an incredibly awkward office moment? And
let's go for some of the top things that people
are sharing about the awkward office moments that they've had.
When your boss sits down with you in the bathroom, oh,
fifty five percent of people say that that's an awkward moment.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I've never experienced that.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
You can just tell by the shoes, Yeah, ip next
to my bosses a lot. Oh yeah, I always come
back with random stories though. Whenever you do that it's
entertaining in the bathroom. At the end of the day,
someone came in the athroom and I was in the stall.
He's in the stall, but they were mad about something. Man,
they were going off and then I like, I was like,
just let him know someone was in there and stop,

(02:09):
you know, like you might you might not want somebody
to hear what you're saying. They were very upset though,
with the management here ohever it was. I tried to
tell who it was. I tried to look at the feet,
you know, yeah, but I couldn't. I could. I was
using the stall, so like it was very awkward. I
would have to peak all the way under and I
knew that that would be caught.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Then again, one of those moments, even if you do
find out what the shoes are, you spend the rest
of the day looking at people's shoes.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah, who was I did? I walked out of the
office for a minute because I wanted to see if
I could figure out who it was. They were not
happy though.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
There is somebody that works with us that every time
I'm in the bathroom with them, they sound like this.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I'm like, that's like one of the ones where you're like,
do I ask everything alone?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
I leave him alone every time, but I want to.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I feel like I know who that is. Yeah, you
probably all the time you were walking in the hallway.
You ever had an awkward office moment?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I asked, because there's a trend going viral of people
sharing the most awkward things that have happened to them
at the aphis Sarah, Yes, what's the awkward office moment
you've had?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Well?

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Oh, my gosh. I worked on a in a federal
government and the floor was all women, all quiet, and
you could hear a pin drop, and I had really
bad gas one day and I've been sitting there. I
was like please, no, please no. And I was really good.
I was able to keep it in and I was
like to think of backtrack. So then my boss called

(03:32):
me and I had to like waddle quietly to her desk,
and when she was done lecture me, I turned around.
I didn't have gas, but I had an open front
air pocket, if you know what I mean. And it
popped and it made noise. I made noise. I'm just
saying I made noise, sending annis. She looked at me.

(03:54):
I was so mortified. I was like, yes, that just
happened that we were discussed. Yeah, that was my knowing.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Sometimes you just have really addressed it, just be like, yeah,
that was that was me.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Sorry about that, Yeah, pretty much, I haven't own it
like it was definitely not.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
To thank you for your phone calls there, I have
a great day. Calls up eight and eight three four
three six one, text ten to four one six one.
What's the most awkward moment you've had at the office,
and know some of the other top things that people
are sharing is being being at the printer and then
walking off without fixing it.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh, breaking it and then walk Is that awkward? I
feel like I used to do that a lot. What
but you know, with the intention of telling somebody about.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
It, but then I don't same thing. Yeah, being too
embarrassed to ask somebody's name and a meeting with that's
sixty two percent of people say that's an awkward moment
for them. Oh, that's not even a meeting, that's just
every day.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
If I'm talking to someone sometimes I don't know their
name and I feel really bad.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
But you already talked to them for like ten minutes.
You can't ask their name, like ten minutes into the conversation.
We can.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
It's just it just takes a really large set of
kahone so like I don't know your name.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah, well the sorry when they address you by your name, yes,
they feel really bad. Thankfully, I can get away with oh,
so good to see you, babe, and like it's not weird.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, I do that. I do that, and then I
end up in meetings. I know, I get away with it.
That's just how you say it, so good to meet you, babe.
Another one of the top awkward moments for people at
the office is when your boss calls you the wrong
name and you don't know how to correct them. That's
happened to me a lot. I've worded with some people
who are the boss has always call them the wrong name,

(05:35):
and they never correct them.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Why would you correct them? That's the best moment to
make them feel awkward in that moment, I correct.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Them every time. Really called Brian a lot, dude, I'm like,
it's Brad the thing, Brad, Yeah, what is that? I mean,
this is the easiest name to remember, Brad.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Top awkward moment that people say for them at the
office is when they accidentally click reply all to a
private email or to an email that's like an all
company email, and you're trying to respond to one person
reply all.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
What do you get like secondhand embarrassment for people when
they do that, Like when you read the reply all
emails from people. Oh, not only that.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
But when they meant to reply all, I feel embarrassed
for them. I'm like, you're just dumb, You're just dumb.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Suck up. I've done that a lot where I've hit
reply all and I say the most unprofessional thing. You're
not media trained in at all. I remember I did
it one time and I literally had to send an
email apologizing to everybody. I was like, I'm sorry, that
was meant. I didn't mean to hit reply at all
on that. I hope you guys can disregard the email
