This one is interesting. It seems so simple, but it really isn't. The biggest celebrity in the world is doing something and people are having a MOUNTAIN of feelings. No middle ground. We are all divided.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Uh oh, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the main event.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Bay let's get it's.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
The Gibil Show, and welcome to another day and another
heated Internet debate. Normally, people online are arguing about what
political gang you affiliate with, the Red or the glue
or one group is trying to show how accepting and
non controlling they are by telling another group of people
that they can't identify with at all how they should feel.

(00:44):
But today on the Internet, everybody is arguing about the
latest Taylor Swift Swift and Travis Kelsey news. Oh, if
you don't know who Taylor Swift is, she's one of
the biggest stars on the planet. And if you don't
know who Travis Kelsey is, I think he has a
podcast or something. But their boyfriend and girlfriend and they
did something the other day that has everybody heeded. Some

(01:06):
people are saying that what they did is irresponsible and
they're just terrible people for doing it, and other people
are saying that it's the cutest thing ever. What did
they do? They got a dog together. Oh that is
separating the planet right now. Oh wow, all the things
they got a dog together. Really? Yes, people are arguing
because they're not like married, yeah, and so they're saying

(01:27):
it's irresponsible for them to get a dog together when
they're just boyfriend and girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
It is.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Other people are just like, that's the cutest thing.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
It absolutely is. You're putting yourself in a very compromising
position because if everything doesn't work out, now you've got
a dog that you have to worry about. People do
this whole like, okay, shared custody of puppies, and then
you gotta see your ex. You gotta deal with your ex.
If you don't have kids, you're in a position for
a clean break. If you're not engaged and you're not
married and you get a dog, you're screwing yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
I know people that have that split dogs and they
seem fine with it. They seem to do okay with it.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay, but then when you have somebody that the new
person that shares the dog with you has a person yes,
let me just say, Okay, So I was dating this
dude and he had and he had a dog that
he had shared with his ex girlfriend. So she would
come over and get this dog, and then sometimes I'd
get there and the dog wasn't there, But then the
dog was gonna be there, and he wasn't there, so

(02:20):
the girl was gonna show up and bring the dog
for me to hang out with the dog. Anyway, it
was just not worth it. This is too much. This
isn't a child. I love dogs. This isn't about animals.
I love puppies. I think you should like hang out
with them if you have them. But to actually say
we're gonna have co ownership, you're messing with a lot
of stuff and that's your piece, and that are messing

(02:40):
with your peace.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
People are saying that it's irresponsible to get a dog
before you're married.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
So would you rather than say, does someone keep it
after the Well they're not getting divorced, but after the breakup,
someone just keeps the dog one person. No, I think
you should get it and be like, this dog is mine.
You're allowed to help me with it. That's gonna get
used to their owner.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, that happens.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
But if you're going to say at the end of
this relationship, like hopefully you don't want to break up,
I get that. I'm not saying you're going into these situations,
but you are screwing yourself. You're attaching yourself to a
person with a dog or a cat, it's the same.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
We'll say it is tough because I've had a dog
with someone and we weren't married, and I loved that dog. Yeah,
I spent so much time training the dog. Me and
that dog were buddies, you know. And then when I
broke up, all was like, there's no way I'm gonna
split the dog, you know, like I can't. I definitely
don't want to see them again. And so I gave

(03:32):
her the dog and I missed the dog, you know.
Luckily she showed up in my email inbox about ten
years later asking me for money to help put the dogs,
and I.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Was like, what, that's another thing too. They can use
the dog to manipulate you to get money, but I mean,
this may be actually real. And then your double heartbroken
over the relationship and the dog, like it's just I
don't know, that's just too much heartbreak.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
This is how I know the Jubil Show is a
show of because we're not talking about regular people. We're
talking about the kind of people who wouldn't even raise
their own kids they have so much money. That's true.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
This is not a.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Problem for Taylor Swift in the podcast, like they have
to shuffle the dog back and forth if they get
broken up. They have many assistants to do that. Oh yeah,
and everybody knows Taylor Swift owns at all.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
It's no, he doesn't. Does not lay his head down
at night thinking he owns Jack. Okay, so this is
really messed up. But I used to follow Travis Kelsey's
ex girlfriend because I used to work with her anyway,
So the two of them, they had like two or
three dogs together.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
They did. Yes, so this is Travis Kelsey's thing. That
means their relationship is doomed.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I don't know, but he would post with these dogs
and he's like, oh my dogs, my dogs. But since
they broke up, Kayla's posting with all these dogs. These
are herd dogs.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
So he already has a record of abandoning dogs.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
So we know Taylor Swift is going to end up
with the dog. She already has them.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
She has, she has Travis.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
There isn't anything that the guy owns.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
So it does seem kind of like her puppy more.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Than she's getting a second puppy.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Good point.
