Speaker 2 (00:07):
You're a naughty goat. Yeah, you're naughty. You're geting out
of there right now, get out, get out of there.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Hello, Hi, Hey, how you doing.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
This is Pete Deakins. I'm calling from Landscaping. I was
looking for Lisa. Yes, get out, all right, hold on,
I'm just gonna go. I'm gonna go around the house
real quick. That's kind of allowed back here one second.
Let me just let me just go around the okay, hiya, Hello, Hello.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Okay, I'm sorry. Who is this and what's going on where?

Speaker 5 (00:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Sorry about that. I was probably allowed a second ago.
Pete Eakins here calling from landscaping. We're the new company
that's starting at your house, say, doing some landscaping, and
I just need to give you a call about something
I need to see if I get to have your
approval to enter the premises.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I'm sorry, why though, It's just just get.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
In there real quick. Hold on, I'm just gonna go
look at them. Well, I'll talk to you. But if
I could just kind of get in there real quick,
just DNS see what's going on.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I'm sorry you.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Who drop it?

Speaker 6 (01:14):
I'm sorry, what drop it?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
And where are you drop it? Who are you yelling at?

Speaker 7 (01:19):
Drop?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Sorry? Hold on, let me go around the house. Oh
my goodness, sorry about that. Okay, long story short. You know,
we use goats to just part of our eco friendly
way of landscaping, and you have a few of them
decided to go ahead and uh and make entry into
your house, and I do I'm training like dogs. I
was trying to get him to drop.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
What are you saying to me? You're telling me that
there's goats in my house right now?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Five of them.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Yeah, Oh my god, I don't understand. Why Why are
their goats in my house? How did they get into ye?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I don't really know. I turned my back for a
on second. I heard a little bit of a crash
and then the sliding door that all the goats are
just hopping on in there, and you know, I don't
want to, you know, be presumptuous.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Excuse me. Can you please make sure you get all
the things being destroyed? Gets them out of my house?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, I have a you know, came around the front
of the house. I could talk to you without the
goats making all the noises, and so I don't know
exactly what's going on in there? Let me see if
I can hear like.

Speaker 8 (02:23):
Oh no, my house.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
No, no, that is a naughty goat.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Naughty.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Oh my goodness. I am so sorry. Yeah. They they're
going to the bathroom everywhere, and they've eaten quite a
bit of your couch.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Excuse me, I don't you're an idiot? Can you please
go get the ghats out of my house? I'm gonna
have to come home. I mean, this is ridiculous. I
never gave permission for ghats to be in my house.
I'm on my way home. I don't understand, and you're
going to get.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I have your approval to go ahead and answer the premises.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Of course, I give you permission to go into my house.
There's already like goats in my house that are destroying
my home. Can you please go and deal with it?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Well, I can't because this is actually Jubil from the
Jubil Show doing a phone prank on you and your husband.
Dave set you up. What it's a joke.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Wait wait, I'm sorry, there's not.

Speaker 9 (03:14):
No.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
He said that you guys hired a new landscaping company
today and he wanted to mess with you.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Oh my god, Oh my God, that was so scary.
I really thought there was like a million coats in
my house eating everything and off like Wow, Oh, I'm
going my debt.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
He's dead.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
He's a dead man. I'm just wow.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Wake up every morning with Jubile phone pranks. We say
mornings on the twenties, your.

Speaker 10 (03:49):
Heart is true, You're down Ready, everyone.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Na pull on the mic just a little you sing.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
The biggest gift would be from me, and the car
detached would say thank you be. Every iconic show has
their wacky cast of characters, and the Jubil Show is
no different. Why it's the Jubil Show with your drunken
Nina Hi. And then there's everybody's younger sister, Victoria Ramirez Hi.
And who could forget the quirky neighbor kid who lives

(04:25):
next door and stops by every once in a while
to see if we'll buy some magazine subscriptions to help
send the new oslot she just purchased from the Dark
Web to cooking School, our social media producer Gabby. And
then there's producer Freeze, the hip divorcee and the newest
member of the show What Up, play as and play
It's and of course me I'm Jewbel and this is
the Jebil Show and it's the time of week where

(04:47):
we check in and see what's going on in our lives. So, Nina,
what's up with you today?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I think the travel industry is missing a very niche
group of people. You and I'm talking about single people.
And this is why, because when you go book thing,
So I'm about to go on a chrip with my
family and we're going on this cruise, and so when
I went to go book my room, the options are
for a single traveler to have a no window closet
like bedroom where you could just be there, and they're

(05:12):
like for the solo traveler that's just going by themselves,
you can even like exactly. So in order for me
to get windows in my room and like space to
have an actual vacation, I have to pay for two people.
So in order to have my room, I had to
pay for two people. I was crazy, you paid for
two people. I did because I want a window. No,

(05:34):
it's not even that i haven't taken any of my
vacation all year. So I've got in a little pile
saved up and says, treat your sale and get a window.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Because I'm not trying to be on a boat.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Staring at a wall. I would never get out of bed.

Speaker 11 (05:45):
Why don't you just have your parents like by the window,
and then you just go hang out in their room
they have one.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
But the point is it's a vacation. I need to
not be with family the entire time. Pay for I
had to pay for two people. That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Ye can't just rent the suite with the window for
one person? Just pay more.

Speaker 7 (06:03):
It's strange because the money.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
It hads for two people. That's so I'm like, okay,
well this is kind of messed up. In order for
a single person to have a nice vacation, you have to.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Pay for two.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
That's wild.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, that's crazy. Single people need windows. Where are they
going to stare out of them? Wish they weren't single, right,
it's ridiculous those little letters and let them go. Victoria.
What's up with you this week?

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Guys?

Speaker 11 (06:26):
I'm just going to tell you that growing up sucks
because you there's so many things that come with it.
But one of the things that has happened recently with
me is that I had to give my own insurance,
and so I got that, but now they send the
bills to me. Now, the very first time I got
a bill, it's like, how do you know where I live?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I got scared. But then obviously I put that in there.

Speaker 11 (06:45):
But then they set me a paper and it looked
like a bill, and then it had numbers on it
as if it was a bill, and it was a
lot of numbers. But then it is not a bill.
But then it also says personal like not personal problem,
but like you own it, like that you owe it,
and so, but it's not a bill, but then she's
a group of numbers but also my problem.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
So what does that mean? It's probably just automatically taken
out of your bank account, and so it's just like
notifying you that that's what you would have been, that's
what you're being charged, so you don't actually have to
pay it back now you just know that that's getting
taken out. It's my guess. I think that's what those
are usually, but.

Speaker 11 (07:20):
Like indurance companies can do that.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
I mean, it's usually how you do it. Did you
set up auto pay?

Speaker 7 (07:25):
I think?

Speaker 3 (07:26):
So I don't know.

Speaker 11 (07:27):
That's why I'm like, say, it's not a bill.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
I'm like, well, it's not a bill. Why you can't
do because your insurance company. Yeah, okay, would you do
it through our benefits? Yeah? Yeah, they take it out
of your bill and they take it out of your paycheck.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
What you're gonna have to pay it anyway?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Well yeah, but did you take it out of my paycheck?

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Yeah? That's so messed up.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Well, Victoria, then you don't have to remember to pay.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
It because you want it anyway. Yeah, but I feel
like that's true.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Then why am I getting bill collectors calling me for
not paying my medical bills?

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Well that's when you actually go to the doctor and
then like your copay or whatever it is, if you
don't pay it.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Yeah, that's what.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Your medical ballet. Different issue okay, yea many different issue
of the same thing.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Eventually they will take them out of my check. That's
how it works exactly. They get garnished. So I just
didn't get taken care of it. Oh hey, look it's
Gabby stopping by our social media producer. What's up with
you this week?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (08:16):
Not a whole lot.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I'm just tired.

Speaker 12 (08:21):
I have a five month old at home, so you know,
I just she doesn't like to sleep, she doesn't like
when I sleep.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
She also, I can't believe that such a tiny little
human takes up so much things.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
What do you mean?

Speaker 5 (08:33):
She just has so many accessories.

Speaker 12 (08:36):
She's got Like in the living room alone, she has
a bascinet, she has a swing, she has a toy basket, she.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Has a book basket. I just got a baby jail,
a baby jail like a play pen, so I can
put her in there.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, it doesn't like their little criminals beds
it up with you this week.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
I just want to say that proud of my daughter.
She I'm going to visit her.

Speaker 13 (09:02):
And she texted me this morning and said, did you
need to drive my car on Tuesday?

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Because I said that I was.

Speaker 13 (09:07):
Going to drive her to a concert her and her
friends and I and I said, yes, I'm going to
drive you, So I'm gonna need to use your car.
She said, uh, I offered that, and I want to
confirm because I want to put you on my insurance as.

Speaker 7 (09:19):
An authorized driver for the day. How responsible is that?

Speaker 2 (09:24):
That's weird. I'll never do that. That's so strange.

Speaker 14 (09:29):
I was.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I didn't know you can do that at all.

Speaker 13 (09:33):
So shouts out to my daughter for being on top
of things.

Speaker 11 (09:37):
Could you imagine if I drive that my tags are
still like expired.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
So it's like, that's just all I'm I'm just tripping
out at how responsible and that she it was probably
her mom. I've never heard of that before. I'm just
mind blown. That's all that's going on here. Your phone

(10:01):
brag happens every single hour on the twenties. Your next
one's coming up right after this, and then right after
that is Nina's What's Trending. It's a double show.

Speaker 11 (10:07):
Brought to you by Michael Shabingo and Auburn Year Home
for Machinego. It's time for Nina's What's Trendy.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
So it looks like the guests of Taylor and Travis
wedding aren't the only ones that are leaving with a souvenir.
You will never believe what people are actually buying from
this wedding. I mean, I just yeah, you're about to
find out. There are no words I will explain in
just the second. But first, this morning, the seventy eighth

(10:33):
Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were officially announced. So basically, if
TV is your jam, this is your moment to root
for your favorite shows. Some people do that with sports,
some people do with shows. And movies. But right, the
big names to worry about, I guess for this year
the Pit Love Story, not Surprising Hack, and Pluribus Serbs.

(10:55):
Did you watch that?

Speaker 11 (10:56):
I didn't watch it, but I was told to because
I heard it was really good, so I meant to.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
I heard was really good too, But I feel like
it's sci fi and I don't usually get down with that.
But maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. Those are some
big ones to look out for. So yay, this is
also interesting. Today there will be a simultaneous, simultaneous let
me try speaking again, Declaration of Independence reading happening across

(11:20):
the country, so we continue to celebrate America two fifty
and it's going to be held in different time zones
all over, and I mean it's to commemorate the fact
that this was the very first time that the Declaration
of Independence was read out loud July eighth of seventeen
seventy six. Wow, okay, cool, I know this feels like

(11:42):
one of those moments Victoria where you should take a
note in your brain in cases were to pop up
on you versus Victoria. Which part that's awkward? Which part
do I talk about? Decoration of Independence? The first time
it was read, oh you already forgot seventeenth? Yeah? What day?

(12:02):
You said? A day? Yeah?

Speaker 11 (12:04):
Wow, I swear my ears work.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
It goes quick.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
I don't know what just happened. It's July eight. Today
is July eight. That's the whole point. That was a
trick question.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
That's so exciting, Victoria.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
I didn't be new setter up for that kind of stuff,
but it was too easy, bro, I'm sorry, okay. And lastly,
would you buy a bag of air from Taylor in
Travis's wedding? Yes? Kidding. So when I first saw this headline,
I was like, well, who was inside that decided to
capture a bag of air and put it out like

(12:36):
on the marketplace to sell to people. I have a
feeling it might have been like a worker or somebody
that like walked into Madison Square Garden after the fact,
because not only were they trying to sell a bag
of air, there are other people who were able to
gather trash outside of Madison Square Garden and sell that
as well. Somebody sold one air pod that they found

(12:58):
some napkins at the AirPod.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
They're like, well, it could have been in somebody famous's
ear so they wanted to sell it.

Speaker 11 (13:05):
Hya is not someone famous to try to sell this.
That's how the rich day richer, they get richard, they
keep their money.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
I mean, I feel like if if it was if
it was an actual guest, or if it was somebody
in there, it's like they're trolling. They're like, oh much,
let's let's get drunk one night and let's pretend that
we're selling a bag of air. And they actually asked
fifty thousand dollars for the back air. Don't buy it no,
But it got taken down, So I don't know if
that just like they didn't they went against the rules

(13:30):
or something, or they're gonna try it again later. But
the air pod did go, soda can tops did go.
All of that stuff went for twenty five dollars each.
NYC garbage dot Com is a website that people go
to to buy trash, and a lot of these items
were up on that website and now completely sold out.
Any trash from Madison Square Garden and Taylor and Travis.

(13:51):
I mean, that's how you know you've really made it right,
Like people want to buy your trash?

Speaker 5 (13:55):
Sure?

Speaker 15 (13:56):
Weird?

Speaker 11 (13:56):
What?

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Yeah, Like do they just put it on like a shell.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Okay, I may be so. I didn't pay for it,
but I interviewed. I interviewed Justin Bieber, and I kept
that water bottle. Why.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
I didn't know what you did with this water bottle.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I kept it in my office and I kept it
on my desk so I could look at it every
day and remind myself. Sometimes I take the top off
and I would put it on my cheek, like ooh,
Justin's kissing me. You guess this is a long time ago,
and it's fun. People get to do simple things to
make themselves happy. Buying trash is a little bit different.
I was actually getting that. He was sitting next to

(14:34):
me when I drank the water, and so it feels
it feels a little bit different.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
Did you have like a little sign for it on
your desk?

Speaker 3 (14:40):
No, I just knew what it was, but it said
don't touch. Okay. So that's that's that's how it goes.

Speaker 11 (14:48):
That is what's trending, and your decatch theater is coming
up right after this.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
It's the Jubil Show.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Say that was some enthusiasm, Wait for it, try again,
we'll part which part. It's a double show. Thank you
for listening this morning. I hope you're having a great
day and you're not out there buying trash. Well, let
somebody's trash is another person's treasure.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Oh, don't make it better, that's right, and it's aubile show.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Wow, excuse me, shunny, do you know where I can think?

Speaker 14 (15:18):
Your booty doubles Call of Booty Only it's time for
a brand new call of booty and one of our
listeners is about to make a very very awkward phone
call and call their significant other to see if they'll
leave their job and meet them for a booty call.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Or remember, it's completely family friendly. They can't see anything
dirty and they have to do it in a weird
theme that we get them to use. And today Garrett
is on the phone, and Garrett wants to call his
girlfriend of five years to see if she'll leave her
job and meet him for a call of booty. And
we'll tell him how he has to do it in
just a second. But first, Garrett, what does your girlfriend
do for a living?

Speaker 6 (15:52):
My girlfriend, Reagan is an embalmer at a future.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Okay, to really switch her brain into feeling sexy time
Yeah in moments?

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Wow, Okay, yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
It's like super quiet, like you're literally working with.

Speaker 7 (16:10):
Dead people and that's it.

Speaker 9 (16:12):
Okay, I've got my work cut.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
Out for me. Trying to convince her.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Yeah, what is she?

Speaker 11 (16:19):
Like?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Is she you know, pretty outgoing type of person? I mean,
I don't I'm imagining somebody who works at an obomber
is not necessarily the most outgoing, but like, how do
how is?

Speaker 16 (16:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (16:28):
Yeah, she's pretty reserved, you know. Yeah, she's like very chill.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Yeah, reserved is a good word for it. But like
she I don't think that. I don't think I'm going
to succeed here. I don't think I could ever get
her to h do this, Like I've never gotten her
to leave work for you know, little booty call. So
I'm I'm interested going.

Speaker 7 (16:55):
To go down?

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Have you tried?

Speaker 9 (16:59):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (17:00):
Not really?

Speaker 17 (17:01):
I mean you know she's an you finish up with
that clean up, you know, Yeah, then then get back
all right.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Yeah, well we'll see if you can do it. And
remember you can't be dirty. We give you a theme
to use to make your phone call, and today you
have to convince your girlfriend to leave her job and
meet you for a call of booty, and you have
to do it. Like you're a surfer bro. Yeah, oh

(17:35):
my god. Okay, so you have to first understand why
you're sounding like a surfer bro, and then see if
you can actually get her to leave her job. Okay, okay,
all right, well play a song, come back, and you
can make your call of booty right after this. It's
the Jewel Show.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Excuse me, you know what, I can find your.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Booty right in the middle of a brand new call
of booty and Garrett is on the phone and he's
about to call his girlfriend of five years, who works
as an e bomber at a funeral home, to see
if she'll leave her job right now and meet him
for a booty call. But remember, it's not dirty at all.
We give everybody a theme to use for it, and
today's weird theme that Garrett has to use to try

(18:15):
to get his girlfriend to leave her job and meet him,
as he has to sound like a surfer bro. Garrett,
do you think you're gonna be able to do it?

Speaker 9 (18:24):
Yoh, bra, I'm gonna do that all right?

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Hey, here we go. Feels awkward.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
I'm gonna dial your girlfriend. Reagan's Vonneber right now here
we go. Thank you for calling out a memorial funeral home.
This is Reagan.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
How can I help you?

Speaker 11 (18:42):
Reagan?

Speaker 16 (18:44):
Damn yeah, brah real bra right, Babe, I'm I'm riding
like the gnarliest waves of like missing girlfriend right now.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Okay, that's sweet. I think what are you doing?

Speaker 7 (19:09):
I gotta know? This is surfer Garren.

Speaker 6 (19:13):
Uh yeah, I'm like pretty much super gnarly, and I'm
speaking to you to report some dangerous conditions at home
I need to.

Speaker 9 (19:22):
Get I can get you.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
To get here, like totally stat and help me take
care of this great white we got very white shirt
right over here in the water.

Speaker 8 (19:34):
Bab Listen, Babe.

Speaker 9 (19:38):
I'm looking at.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
The tide charts and they're pretty rough.

Speaker 7 (19:42):
This beach is missing.

Speaker 9 (19:43):
Its lifeguard, if you know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (19:46):
Uh, I'm tired surfer bros. Needing some serious mouth to
mouth if you get my meaning, Babe.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
I'm right in the middle of embalming someone.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Is the world are you doing?

Speaker 7 (20:00):
Thick?

Speaker 9 (20:00):
Oh that's so tight.

Speaker 6 (20:02):
You're surrounded by people who are not going anywhere, so like,
that's all right, so you can just leave them and
come home to me.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
You can live my live bro, live.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Mon, Darren.

Speaker 18 (20:17):
No, not with the dead people, please, no, it's gross.

Speaker 9 (20:25):
All right, I need you to get home so you
can live. Come on, bro, my bad, Come on, dude,
come on.

Speaker 7 (20:38):
Come on.

Speaker 19 (20:40):
Sorry dude.

Speaker 9 (20:43):
Well, hey, I'm just saying, all.

Speaker 6 (20:47):
Right, I've been training all morning, waiting for you, waiting
for the the shores are waiting.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Training for what.

Speaker 9 (20:59):
I'm training for.

Speaker 7 (20:59):
You your waves?

Speaker 9 (21:03):
My what.

Speaker 7 (21:05):
Your waves? Brother?

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Nary?

Speaker 3 (21:08):
What the hell are you making comments about my weight?

Speaker 7 (21:14):
No?

Speaker 19 (21:14):
No, no, no, no, no no, dude, that's not what I'm saying
at all.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
I love your your waves, Dade. Yeah, you know what
I'm trying to say.

Speaker 19 (21:25):
I want to ride the waves like I want to
ride your big, gnarly waves.

Speaker 6 (21:31):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Oh my god, what are you talking about? This is
starting to get annoying.

Speaker 9 (21:41):
Okay, did I'll.

Speaker 7 (21:41):
Get to the point.

Speaker 9 (21:44):
I want you to come home because my tide is
rising and it's time.

Speaker 7 (21:48):
To wax my board with sex wax.

Speaker 18 (22:00):
Let's see, I'm currently leaning over, I'm not a live person,
and my boyfriend is high out of his mind talking
dirty to me on some weird surfer accident.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
I could not be less turned on right now. Hey,
Hey Reagan, Reagan, how are you? This is the Jubil Show.
It's a radio show and my name is Jubil And
we do a segment on the show called Call of
Booty where you have to call your significant other and

(22:33):
see if they'll leave their job to meet you for
a booty call. But you can't do it dirty. We
give you everybody a thing to use, and we told
Garrett he has to sound like a surfer brow to
do it. But nice job, Garrett.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
That makes sense.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Now, Oh my god, you're going crazy, honey, you.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Crazy about you?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
But I'm not leaving.

Speaker 9 (22:58):
Sorry, I know.

Speaker 6 (22:59):
You can't do it right now, but maybe later we
can hang ten.

Speaker 18 (23:04):
Yeah, well it's going and a half.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
But oh what am I some sort of a mentally
challenged airhead? No, not even I didn't say that.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
It's like, why am I even listening to you?

Speaker 7 (23:24):
To begin with? You're virgin who can't try.

Speaker 2 (23:27):

Speaker 2 (25:03):
At least you're watching it. Most people say, no, not

Speaker 8 (25:09):

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Why Brazil?

Speaker 20 (25:14):
Just because they're they've been in it almost I think
they've I heard a fun fact about them that they've
been in it every year, like.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
I think every year? So yeah, I think that's true. Yeah,
they're very good at the soccer ball. Wow. All right,
here we go, Victoria thirty seconds, answer as many questions
as possible. If you don't know when, just say pass
and you have to beat Tia out right to win?
In Tia, you can tell Victoria when to go?

Speaker 7 (25:39):
All right, ready to go?

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Who wrote the novel The Great Gatsby? I should know
that one. I should know that one. I should know
that one. I don't know that one. Next, what is
the only mammal capable of truth? Like ma'am wait? I
always said?

Speaker 11 (25:52):
Will I'm so sorry, that's not that's wrong, that's wrong?

Speaker 16 (25:56):
What?

Speaker 14 (25:56):
Uh?

Speaker 11 (25:57):
I think?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
I can't think which TV sitcom theme song famously includes
the lyric your heart is true.

Speaker 11 (26:05):
I'm sorry, I'm only thinking of Wales true.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
What was the question which shows it? From old girls?

Speaker 9 (26:14):
All right?

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Cut that in list, send it over to our scoreboard.
Our normal scoreboard producer Freeze isn't in studio right now,
so our social media producer Gabby has your score.

Speaker 12 (26:25):
Victoria got one correct and Tia also got one correct
to congratulations.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
That's a victory. Victoria has to be all right. So
you got Tame and pol tickets just for playing.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Thank you you guys, yep, get the answer. No, The
Great Gatsby was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I definitely
the only mammal capable of true flight is a bat.
The Golden Girls is the sitcom that has the theme
song that says your heart is true Yeah, pal.

Speaker 7 (26:58):
And if.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Anyway, the color of liquid oxygen is pale blue. The
planet that rotates so slowly that one day is longer
than one year is actually Venus. Wait what Okay? Totally
it was a good guest is always always a good guest.
It's always the most.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Likely ta thank you for playing, Thank you, Yeah, We
play you vers Victoria at the same time every single
weekday morning. Remember if you want to play just dm
us at the Jewel Show or go to the Jebilshow
dot com your phone brak happens every single hour on
the twenties. Your next one is right after this, and
then right after that is Nina's what's trending. It's the
Jewel Show. Kurt is on the phone today for a
first day follow up, and he's getting ghosted by a

(27:39):
woman named Olivia. So in a few minutes we'll call
her and see if she'll tell us why she's ghosting
and maybe get him a second date. But first, Kurt,
how long has it been since you heard from Olivia?

Speaker 19 (27:51):
It is going on a whole week now.

Speaker 11 (27:54):
Okay, not too bad though, maybe she's just like working.

Speaker 7 (27:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 19 (28:00):
I don't know. She was not responding, she was not
calling back, So that's a lot of work.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
That's the vie you're getting. No, okay, well, why don't
you tell us about the date.

Speaker 19 (28:10):
It was a really good date. I thought we had
a good time. She really stood out. You know, she's
got like a quick wit, you know, kind of sharp tongue.

Speaker 7 (28:21):
She had a quick comeback.

Speaker 19 (28:22):
She's real observing. I like that, very funny, very funny.
And she felt like an independent, grounded person, you know,
not fake at all. She had just calm about her,
like she she saying something she's lived her life.

Speaker 9 (28:37):
You know.

Speaker 19 (28:37):
She was kind of cool about that, so I thought
that was really attractive in her.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Okay.

Speaker 19 (28:42):
We went out at a date at this market night
market style food hall type thing, and you know, really
cool and they have shared tables and stuff.

Speaker 9 (28:52):
You know.

Speaker 19 (28:54):
We ordered up a bunch of different food in different places,
and we went back and to share the food. You know,
was real casual place and we're having a really good time,
a really good time.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Nice okay, and how did everything end?

Speaker 7 (29:10):
Well before it ended?

Speaker 19 (29:14):
While we were eating, I accidentally ate something I was waste,
spicier than I expected it to be. I can handle
spice it, but this was like a lot. So I
tried to play cool and that failed miserably. My eyes
were watering. I faced her and red. My voice was sweeping,
and I just you know, she was checking on me.

(29:35):
I said, I'm fine. I just don't believe in weakness,
you know, I was just goofing around.

Speaker 7 (29:38):
She laughed.

Speaker 19 (29:40):
And then it got worse because some paramedics came by.
We didn't call them. A couple these couples thought that
I was having trouble, and they called them and they
brought them over to check me. Out. It was a
huge scene. It was a mess, but I was fine.
I didn't need the care megs. I was like over kill.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Well I think, I mean, you must have looked like
you were really struggling though, for somebody else to grab
paramedics and come over to you.

Speaker 19 (30:07):
And my man was I was in bad shape. I
don't know what I ate, but I was in bad shape.
It was not going good.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
All right, Well, let's see if it was the spice
moment that did you end?

Speaker 19 (30:20):
Yeah, I hope, I hope.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
All right, we'll play a song and then come back
and call her and see if she'll tell us why
she's ghosting you and maybe get you a second date. Okay,
all right, all right, we'll get your first day follow
up next. It's the Jubil show. Right in the middle
of your first day follow up. And if you're just
joining us, Kurt is on the phone and he's getting
ghosted by Olivia. So we're about to call her and

(30:43):
see if she'll tell us why she's ghosting him and
see if we can also get him a second date.
But before we do that, Kurt, why don't you break
down your day again for us real quick.

Speaker 19 (30:50):
We had a really good time, that this should play,
and she was really fun and cute. We get us
hitting it off, and of course I ate some super
spicy food that I didn't know was that spicy? And
that turned into a big thing. I don't know that
was a huge turnoff for but that that could be it.
Otherwise we had a great time.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
All right, so scary honestly? Are you ready for us
to call her?

Speaker 19 (31:17):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (31:19):
Yeah, all right, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Hello, Hi, man, speak to Olivia.

Speaker 7 (31:27):
Please is this she asked you calling?

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Yes, you may Olivia. This is a radio show. It's
called The Jebel Show. Hi, Olivia. I'm Nina, I'm Victoria,
and my name is Jewbel. What's up?

Speaker 8 (31:40):
Am I on the radio right now?

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Yes? You are?

Speaker 20 (31:44):
Oh, what's up you guys?

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Not much? Have you ever listened to The Jebel Show before?

Speaker 8 (31:51):
Yeah, of course I have.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Okay, sweet, maybe you've heard a first Day follow up?
You know, that's the segment where we do on the
show where if you end up going on a date
with somebody and you end up ghosting them, that person
can email us to get you on the phone and
find out why. And we got an email about you.
No you didn't, Yes, yes we did.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Yeah, yeah they can.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
God, no way are you ghosting anybody? Uh?

Speaker 20 (32:20):
I am currently ghosting one guy, but I don't know
why he would reach out. That would be absolutely crazy
as him and I am certainly not emotionally prepared for this.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Oh okay, do you need a minute or do you
think you could tell us who it is? Who do
you think it is or what happened?

Speaker 20 (32:36):
My money, my money is on it being Kurt.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
It is Kurt. Yes, Kurt emailed us and told us
about your date, said he really liked you, but he
can't figure out why you're ghosting him? Would you mind
telling us?

Speaker 20 (32:50):
I mean, you know what, if he reached out and
I'm on the radio with all the bells and whistles
and surprises, I will absolutely tell you, even if it's
kind of like awkward, and I don't know if he
even wants me to say this to the public live
on air.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Okay o.

Speaker 8 (33:09):
Wait, So when we were like.

Speaker 20 (33:10):
Sitting at the shared table, there was you know, it
was like a street hall, like like food hall situation.
So there were like some straight performers that were there,
and this street performer was walking by and he was asking.

Speaker 8 (33:25):
For tips, and I literally saw Kurt reach.

Speaker 20 (33:28):
Into his pocket like he's about to tip, and I
was like, oh my gosh.

Speaker 8 (33:32):
He cares about the arts. What a patron, you know
what I mean, like a patron of the arts.

Speaker 20 (33:36):
And hell, he literally pulled out his hand back and
he opened his hand and it was empty, and looked
this man in the eye and said, you're just kidding.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Wow, really I don't like.

Speaker 20 (33:53):
And then he looked at me and he said I
already donated spiritually, and he started laughing, but I didn't
start laughing, okay, And I was like, I don't know
how to respond, like to me, that's just mean, like
somebody relies on this as their job. Like you can

(34:14):
always just say like I don't have any cash on me,
or like I like sorry, man, like not today. But
he had to like make a whole bit out of
it and like embarrass this guy. And it just felt
like he was baiting somebody to.

Speaker 7 (34:30):
Like try to get a laugh.

Speaker 20 (34:32):
And I was like, you don't have to make somebody
look smaller to like make you appear bigger. I just
it really gave me the ick in like this insanely
gross way.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Okay, all right, well, thank you for telling us and Olivia,
Kurt is actually on the phone wants to talk to you.

Speaker 7 (34:53):
I'm sorry he's here.

Speaker 21 (34:54):
Yeah, Kurt, I I M Kurt, did you really do that?

Speaker 7 (35:06):
Yeah? It was funny.

Speaker 19 (35:08):
The guy was like he wanted to tip to stand
on one foot. I'm not going to give my hard
earned money to a beggar. Come on, Olivia, that was funny, Olivia,
come on, that was funny that it was a joke.

Speaker 7 (35:22):
It was a joke.

Speaker 8 (35:25):
It was like punching down.

Speaker 9 (35:26):
It was ross, dude.

Speaker 19 (35:29):
I didn't punch him. I just didn't tip him up.
I didn't touch the.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Guy, just saying punching down, like you know, like this
dude is like homeless or whatever, and then you taking
the opportunity to make fun of him is like you're
in a better position, So it's punching down. She didn't
say you literally punched him.

Speaker 19 (35:46):
Oh well, I don't know if think I was homeless.
I didn't think it was homeless. He was just you know,
begging for money for his sewy little acrobatic thing what
he was doing. And if he really wants money for it,
I mean he can go get a job at trying
to take my money.

Speaker 20 (36:03):
Wow, you're hearing this right like I thought I was.
I was like, oh my god, they're doing a reboot
of Pumped. Like I was like, I'm getting pranks like
this is.

Speaker 8 (36:14):
Ridiculous watching this happen.

Speaker 19 (36:17):
And I was like I I.

Speaker 20 (36:20):
Was like, it put me in such a weird position
that I was like, I feel like I had to apologize.

Speaker 7 (36:25):
On his behalf.

Speaker 20 (36:26):
And it was like it it was so I get
like this poor guy, like I was literally at like
you can hear it now.

Speaker 19 (36:33):
It made me so uncomfortable.

Speaker 20 (36:35):
I was at a genuine loss for words that like
a human being would do this to another human being.

Speaker 19 (36:43):
Okay, first of all, I didn't know you were just kind.

Speaker 7 (36:45):
Of a hippie.

Speaker 19 (36:48):
Also, also, I don't ever want a woman to apologize
for me or anything I did. I don't need that. Also,
when I paid for the food, I didn't tip either.

Speaker 20 (37:01):
You know, if you if you literally can't afford to tip,
don't go out to eat.

Speaker 19 (37:07):
I can afford to tip. It's the principal or think
I don't have to tip. I can afford to tip.
I just don't want to. I mean, I have a
good job, all right, I'm not a server. So if
they want to make more money that you get a
good job.

Speaker 7 (37:20):
Like I did.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
Wow, you don't see how this is just a little
off putting.

Speaker 19 (37:25):
This isn't a big ada. I don't know why everybody's
getting hing out of shape.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Hey, Olivia, would you like another day with Kurt? Will
pay for it? Sorry, I know you don't want.

Speaker 20 (37:33):
To hand out, Honestly, I would rather you give that
money to servers and waiters and tip them.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Well, Kurt, I'm sorry. No, no second date, man.

Speaker 19 (37:45):
Yeah, that's that's fine. I don't want to go up
with you either, Olivia, since you're just trying to give
all my money away only Robin Hood. I don't know
you're going to be such a liberal criva. You didn't
seem that way, you didn't come up that way. This
is you misrepresented yourself everywhere in the day.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
All right, Well say you guys.

Speaker 11 (38:08):
Yeah, frock to by Michael. She been going Auburn. You're
home from Machinego, It's time for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Man, I have this feeling that the divorce between Jelly
Roll and Bunny XO is about to get real messy.
Unless I am missing something, and it's all because of
what happened on the fourth of July. I'll tell you
what went down in just a second. But first, the
CDC is busy. They're looking for answers for the parasitic

(38:33):
gut illness that has been spreading across the country. Have
you heard about this? I have. They describe it as explosive. Okay,
First off, you could barely hear that well because I
don't know if you've had breakfast or not yet, but explosive.

Speaker 11 (38:46):
I I haven't had.

Speaker 5 (38:48):
Breakfast the runs.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
Explosive is what they describe it as, but it actually
is in the technical term is cycloser Okay, hold on,
let me try again. Cyclo spur basis. Oh yeah, I
did it right. Cyclosporiasis. It's a type of food poisoning
that's caused by a parasite and the symptoms usually jump
in around two to fourteen days after ingestion. Four man,

(39:13):
and they are using the clickbaitiest of all click baity
headlines to get you to look at this, but I
mean dramatize it. But it's got to be uncomfortable, and
it's making its way across the country. Like people have
to like be careful of absolutely everything so you don't
get sick.

Speaker 11 (39:27):
I mean, you can call in and say something like
ten days ago and it's just hit me now.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
I'm so sorry. Boss. Yeah, I gotta stay home. You
gotta say that you have cyclosoriasis because you probably don't
want to tell. Boss.

Speaker 10 (39:38):
It's six.

Speaker 12 (39:41):
I'm letting you know stomach problems to go into.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
But how is how is this.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
Thing spreading like in food?

Speaker 3 (39:51):
It's in food?

Speaker 6 (39:51):
Like?

Speaker 3 (39:51):
How like? Why is it doing across the country? That's
why the CDC is busy and looking into it. They've
been trying to trace back different packages, is prepackaged food,
fresh produce, but so far they've not identified the source
of the particular output.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
You don't know the sort.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
We don't know the sort.

Speaker 11 (40:07):
Maybe it's because of all the crap we put in
our food.

Speaker 12 (40:11):
It's a parasite, yeah, I mean I'm with you on that,
but I think this is more than it's a parasite.

Speaker 11 (40:16):
But what if it's like the crap mixed in with
whatever like natural?

Speaker 3 (40:21):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean usually I just think
of parasites. Don't those usually come from like produce like
they I mean, if meat or or something like natural.

Speaker 12 (40:31):
If it's spreading across the country and like this is
probably happened to a bunch of people.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
Can't they just ask all of them what they've had.

Speaker 12 (40:38):
And narrow it down fourteen days, I need to know
what to avoid.

Speaker 3 (40:42):
Yeah, that's why, girl, I know. That's why they're exactly
that's why they're busy. It started in early May and
has recorded over one hundred and forty five cases across
seventeen states and growing.

Speaker 12 (40:54):
Like you're telling me, they can't break, they can't narrow
down where all of those people have had.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
I'm sure they're trying. I'm sure they're trying. But if
you would like to add your assistance, I'm sure you
can give them a call and say, hey, I will
volunteer to find the source.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
You know Inana.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
I will do that.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
I'll do that today. I actually could see Yabby be
doing it. That's why I suggested it. I want to
watch her get on the phone with the CDC. I'm
here to volunteer. My tide have stomach problems. That's not fun. No,
it is not fun. It is not fun at all.
So just know that they're looking out for you the
best that they can.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
This is cool.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
This is what I wanted to talk about earlier this morning,
because I don't know if you know this with Victoria
and I are big movie TV show people. But the
first reactions to the Christopher Nolan Odyssey movie are out.
So the Odyssey is expected to be one of the
biggest blockbusters of the summer and it drops on July seventeenth.
But this hat on the trailers keep going. Sorry, I'm
they were hating on the trailers and hating on parts

(41:46):
of the movie because they weren't. They were speaking in
regular American accents instead of traditionally when they do time
pieces that they do like the British accents. But I
don't I mean, I don't think that's going to take
away from the movie for me.

Speaker 11 (41:58):
I mean, some people are saying that, some people saying
the way the trailer was like put together was all
messed up and whatnot. But I think the reactions are
very different.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Well, the reactions to the movie themselves from these critics
because they did not allow any influencers or like super
fans to attend the screenings. They wanted it to be
critics and like people that just had a different eye
on it. So so far they've said not even the
gods can prepare you. Its groundbreaking as epic as a
movie gets. A colossal achievement of scale, even by Nolan's standards,

(42:30):
a staggering achievement, boasting spectacular and terrifying set pieces. I
mean these are great. I mean because you ask for
a bigger sacks.

Speaker 11 (42:36):
Well you, I mean the way they filmed it. And
they filmed it on set, like on a on the
actual not on a set sorry, like in an actual environment.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
That was that they put together.

Speaker 11 (42:47):
Yeah, and like castles and they made like sound stages
like around them and carrying all that equipment like up
mountains and whatnot. Yeah, and the fact they had to
like film it on film, but they had to create
like a box to go around the film cameras.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Who you really nerded out on that she didn't.

Speaker 11 (43:02):
Make so much noise because film cameras make so much noise,
but they wanted to be able to use the real audio.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
She nerds out on production. I love it, Like her
face is up right now.

Speaker 11 (43:11):
They had it, but like a box around the camera
and like make it's like they had to put that.

Speaker 3 (43:17):
Yeah, and there you have it.

Speaker 5 (43:20):
Let's go to the movies.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
I'm actually really excited about see it im, I would
love that. I haven't been to the movies in a
long time. I think that would be really fun. Drastic
Park was the last one she saw, It's true, and
who did I see it with Victoria Me? And lastly,
I have a feeling that Jelly Roll and Bunny Is
divorce is about to get really messy because it's something
that happened on the fourth of July. So there's video footage.

(43:43):
There are photos of Bunny making out with this guy
named Dylan Wolf. So Dylan Wolf apparently is a star
on the new Netflix reality show called Calabasis Confidential, so
he's younger, but who cares, that's not even the point.
The point is this was happening at Jelly Roll's bar
in the VIP section.

Speaker 11 (44:01):
So also like not pimping, that's not the word, but.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
I mean maybe that's what I'm saying unless there's something
that I missed, Like I know that they were like
being amicable and stuff, and he's like, yeah, go be
with my girl, but like or my ex wife. But
I just feel like you can say that so many
times until you see it. It changes things.

Speaker 11 (44:21):
Yeah, but if you cheat on me and then get
mad at me for like after our divorce, like trying
to go pick up another guy.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
Did he cheat on her?

Speaker 11 (44:27):
I thought not this time, but they're he in the past.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
I think in the past he has so it's like, yeah,
but they got over that and that's when they got married.

Speaker 11 (44:35):
Yeah, But I.

Speaker 3 (44:37):
Mean there's probably details that we're missing. I just have
a feeling that this isn't I just I don't know.
I feel like it's as respectful. No, like even if
you're not together anymore. I'm not going to my ex's
place of business or whatever and make out with somebody new.
I don't know. It just feels kind of sloppy. Doesn't
it feel sloppy to you a little bit?

Speaker 11 (44:55):
If that place is like if you're used to going
to that place, like you know everyone there, your friends
are there, superscy.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
You have know what you get free drinks. You haven't
experienced messy yet, so you are so down to have
that drama because what I don't want in my life
is the drama that comes with that level of messy.
But but but it's a rite of passage. So get
out there, girl, Go find your go get yourself an
x and then go make out it his place of work.
With somebody new, Yeah, don't do this, guybles dirty little secret.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Hello, hey you have a dirty little secret?

Speaker 7 (45:33):
I do?

Speaker 9 (45:34):
Is it? So?

Speaker 15 (45:37):
When I was six or seven, I sort of kind
of accidentally ruined my parents' marriage.

Speaker 8 (45:45):
I mean normally we say like, it's not the child's fault,
but in this.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
Case, well, okay, So here's what happened.

Speaker 15 (45:53):
I was like in the backseat of my parents' flight
station wagon and.

Speaker 7 (45:59):
I basic found this.

Speaker 8 (46:04):
Unused condom. Whoa in the backseat. I didn't know that's
what it was. I was like, oh, is this like
a canoe for my barbie? Like I don't know what
I was even looking at, but I'm playing with this thing.
And then at a certain pointint I was like, okay,
I'm done playing. You know, I'm six years old. Whatever,
So I put it in the trash.

Speaker 15 (46:22):
I don't think about it, and then you know, later
that week it's trash day and my dad, my dad
is taking out the trash, so he's, you know, taking
it outside to the curb and he sees this. And anyway,
I wasn't aware at the time of like him discovering
it and what that meant for him or my parents.

Speaker 8 (46:44):
All I know is that.

Speaker 15 (46:45):
You know, when I was fourteen or fifteen, I.

Speaker 8 (46:50):
I basically realized that it was my.

Speaker 15 (46:54):
Putting my toy trash in the garbage and my dad
discovering this condom that like broke up my parents' marriage
because my mom was having an affair with somebody else.
And so, yes, it's a dirty little secret, but obviously
they weren't meant to be together.

Speaker 3 (47:10):
So that's not your fault. Don't carry that weight working
out in therapy. That's your mom's fault.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
Okay, okay, Well, thank you for telling us your dirty
little secret.

Speaker 7 (47:21):
What's your dirty little secret?

Speaker 14 (47:24):
