I used to be at GM for Subway, and they
have no idea how much food I stole, Like how much?

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Like I'm not talking about.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Like a sandwich or some chips or one of the cookies.
Like so I was in control of the camera, so
I moved the camera so they're not facing the parking lot,
and I would take like just box of cold cut bread.
I took the cookies too, Like you gotta think those good?

Speaker 3 (00:40):
I mean, is it really stealing if you're just like,
you know, borrowing a few things from the place that
you put all of your time and energy into.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
They pay you for that time and energy.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Well, if you were by mom's birthday party.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Technically, if you work for Subway, you're a sandwich artist,
so you're just taking home your art supplies.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
They didn't buy that. They didn't buy that.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Oh did they finally catch you? No?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
No, no, they were Actually I didn't have one manager
come up to me and it's like, hey, let's maybe
we should talk to your people about waste.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
The numbers are going, you know, weird numbers. I go,
you've got it, buddy.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I had a meeting. I had a meeting and he.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Was there and I was like, listen, I'm not here
to point fingers, but we're losing a lot of food.
And he gives me a thumbs up.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
It's like a good job.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Wow, Well, thank you for telling us your dirty little secret. Hello, Hi, Hi,
you have a dirty little secret. I do, sweet, let's
hear it.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
So I've been married to my husband for about four years,
and my dirty little secret is every time he gets
me off, I like to sabotage his.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Meal, sabotage his meals.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Yes, we always have our ups and downs, and you know,
there are times where we're in good moods and times of.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
We're in bad moods. And well, whenever he kisses me off,
I whenever i'm picking and he's got his face glued
to the TV, I literally like to either like drop
some of his food on the kind of like pick
all a little bit and like put it back off
the slate.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Whenever I'm serving him.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
And I just smile and just act like everything's good.
And then whenever he's serving his food, he's all happy
and everything, and I'm like, here you go have a
wonderful meal. Honey.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
It's just, huh, whatever keeps your marriage intact, you know.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
I mean, there'll be little pits of stuff in there,
and I would just hide in with all of his
other food and he would never notice at all.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
That's hilarious. Well, thank you for telling us your dirty
little secret.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:58):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
