Jubiles dirty little secret.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hello, Hello, Hey, you have a dirty little secret. Indeed
I do, well, then let's hear it.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Oh really? So basically last Christmas, I visited my girlfriend
family in Europe without my parents knowing at all, and
I basically said, oh, I'm too tired about exams from school.
But in reality, after exams were over, I took a
flight to Europe completely paid for by me di vision
my girlfriend family that they did not know about at

(00:32):
that time.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Did you communicate with them at any time while you
were in Europe? And where did you say you were?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I basically said that I was fill in my dorm room,
but I had to buy an ETIM plan and connected
to my phone numbers that my parents didn't know that
I was calling from, like out of the state.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
What do you think they would have done if they
knew you were in Europe?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
My parents were pretty strict when I was growing up.
I'm not really sure what they would have done, as
I am are adult and I have to take my
own decisions. Well, probably would have stopped paying for my
internet plans.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
No, hell, say, you can make your own decisions if
you're paying for all your own things, Okay, hold on,
Are you still with the girlfriend who you've visited in Europe?

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I am yes, and it worked out. Then it did
work out, and I'm planning to visit her parents and.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It's all fun.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Tell your parents now.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
My parents do know about it, but they do not
know about me going to Europe, and they probably will
never know. They do know that she's okay.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Well, thank you for your dirty little secret. Hello, hey, hey,
what's up? You have a dirty little secret?

Speaker 1 (01:46):

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Sweet? What is it?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Okay? So my dirty little secret is I'm engaged right now?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
God, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
But my does not know that I actually left another
woman to be with her. Oh, I'm feel so bad,
But I don't feel bad because I know I made
the right decision.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
How does she not know?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Because when you're good at what you do, you're good
at what you Oh, so was there over is their overlap?
Is that? Why? No, there was no overlap. So what
happened was I met my fiance probably like over a
year ago, and you never have to have that first
time red flag here or there. I met up with

(02:38):
this one other six, started dealing with her. Things, went
left what I should have never left. The first one
let me do lufy lub what's going on? And yeah, like, yeah,
I don't know why we stopped talking in the first place,
and now we're engaged.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Well, congratulations. You start with the first one, then you
went to the second one because the first one there
was like something going on, and then you have the
second one wasn't going great, so then we went back
to the first one.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
That sounds really bad the way I put it, but
I just like sometimes you have to do that.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
You don't know a resent, You don't know what you
have until it's gone.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Ooh ooh.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
