friends for a really long time and we'd flirted.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Like on and off for like five years, but.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
It never went anywhere.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Well, I didn't think it would really turn into anything,
so obviously I wasn't kind of committed right away, and
the day of our first date, I actually got picked
up from another guy's house at like six o'clock that morning.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
I was going to cancel our first date and then
I didn't.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
But yeah, I ended up sleeping with a guy like
six o'clock that morning before our first date. And that
same guy texted me on the date and was like wow,
I could really.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Why like in front of him, and I like immediately
like shut my phone off and like turned it down.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I was so embarrassed.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
That is a wild thing to text someone though, I'm sorry,
what sir?

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Not even a high hello?

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, like for like, hey, would I would like to
see you again?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
It was like I could really use something. I was like, what,
so did you go.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Oh no, absolutely not, okay, I was I actually was
like terrified that he gave me something and like immediately
went and got tested.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
I didn't have anything, but it was definitely like, oh
my god, no, I was terrified.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
That's my biggest fear. Yeah, I bet.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Well, I'm glad you don't.

Speaker 3 (01:47):

sounds like you guys are happy.

relationship and it ended like on very good terms, like
I wish I'm the best.

Speaker 2 (02:06):

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Hell, hey you have a dirty little secret. Yes I do,
I got it. Okay. So basically, I'm a horse girl.
I have six horses. One of them is my hot horse,
which I call my soulmate basically. And my mom makes donuts.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
She's a baker basically, and the thing is, I hate them,
and I really hate those doughnuts and so dry and
the way she fries them. I don't know what to say.
So she gives me donuts and I'd give them to
my horse.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And my horse.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
She loves them so much and I love to give
her donuts all the time. And I haven't told my
mom about this because I know it would break her
heart and she's kind of dramatic about things.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So let the horse likes them. Yeah, I love them
so much. It's so cute. The horse s eating of
doughnut is cute.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Thank you for your little secret, of course, thank you bye.

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
