Dirty little secret.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, Hey, you have a dirty little secret? I do
all right? Sweet? What is it?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Well?

Speaker 4 (00:11):
I was on a break with my boyfriend. We were
dating for about a year and just something happened too
much to share, and I decided to go on a
dating app get myself back out there, and I matched
with his brother.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Oh spicy, Uh.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Not spicy until I tell you what actually happened. We
wound up hooking up.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Oh wait, so his brother knew you though, right, so
you both like swiped down each other, being like, haha,
wouldn't it be funny if we matched and you did?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Damn? Yeah? But what do you couldare?

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Like?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
I mean, you didn't break up, but you are on
a break. That is there a breakup?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Right?

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Like very rough retel from friends? Yes, I was just like,
we need time, we need space, but we were still
talking to each other, we just weren't actively hooking up,
so I would call it a break for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, So then did you get back together with him
after he hooked up with his brother?

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yeah, about two weeks ago. We decided that we were gonna,
you know, get back together formally. And I keep hearing
from his brother and I'm still kind of interested in them. Okay, well,
I'm not sure what to do. He's a really good kisser,
but I think his brother and I have more of
a connection.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Oh, I mean, and the brother doesn't have any problems
with this, not that he's said it gets messy with brothers.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I'm just saying, well, what should I do?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I think just keep banging broth brothers and see which
one feels right the.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Day direction, jump in with the viewer, and then like, I.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Mean, clearly, these brothers aren't like super tight, so it's
not like she's doing anything otherwise. That brother wouldn't have
done this behind his brother's back. And I don't think
she really has true feelings either one of them.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Extra Are they like super close? Are they close close?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
No, but like they'll talk to each other.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I mean, follow your heart.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
You considered a throule. I hear.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
That's trending with the brothers. I don't think you can
do that with brothers. There's a lot of brothers that
work together, the Farley brothers. What fairly, that's not the
same A lot of brother you know, they work together.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
The Ratlift brothers. That's the kind of work I think
you're gonna want to look for Just google Ratlift Brothers scene.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
You'll be good to go. Hey, thank you for telling
us your dirt little secret. I was just gonna say that.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Just also think about one thing that we're not saying
because we're joking right now. But will you feel comfortable
breaking up a family? Because I had two brothers stop
talking to each other for a long time and it
was my fault and I felt really mad about it.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
So I don't ever really suggest it.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I did it, but I'm just saying I don't suggest
it real talk.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
But good luck, Thanks, Thanks

Speaker 1 (03:02):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
