Dirty little secret.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, hey there, Hey, you have a dirty little secret.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I do.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So here's the thing. I don't feel bad about it
because I feel like everyone does this, Okay, but I
I fake having food allergies at restaurants because I want
the special treatment.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Everybody does this.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Oh, I feel like a lot of people do. Come
on gluten free lactose intolerant. There can't be that many
people that can't have gluten and that can't have cheese.
It's just there's too many out there. So I figure,
you know what, if they're doing it, I get I
get to do it too. And I like if they

(00:44):
bring something out and has cheese on it, I'm like, oh,
I can't have cheese. I'm lactose intolerant. And then I
get some kind of a discount or they give me
some free dessert if it doesn't have you know, ice
cream or whatever on it.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
So I yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
What I do it for the discount and the attention.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Of course.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I feel here's the thing. I'm not alone. I know
so many other people do it too. There's no way
that most of the world is gluten free and lactose
intolerance and there was this one time I went to
this one restaurant and they brought something with cheese on it,
and I had told them I was allergic to cheese,
and it looked really, really delicious, so I ate it anyway,

(01:21):
and then I faked like a full blown allergic reaction.
And now I get to eat there for free for life.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
There's a life act. Then, Okay, all right, well, thank
you for telling us your dirty little secret. You're actually
lactose intolerance. You go get free food for yes. Hey,
what's up? As the jubil shows dirty little secret? You
have one?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
I do?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Sweet? What is it?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Well? A few years ago, I was dating this guy.
Oh I know, I'm pretty serious. We were living together,
and then he started cheating on me with me drug dealer,
and he started doing drugs and it got to the
point where eventually I called the cops on her and

(02:10):
I got her arrested for being a drug dealer.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
What I mean it was you?

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Oh yeah, yeah, I mean she knew.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I mean, honestly, if I was saying some money he was,
she knew on me. With anyone, I would also want
to call the cops on whoever. That person is so fair? Yeah,
and is he still with her.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Uh no, no, well, so I broke up with him
and then I called the cops on her. I was
like a final, you know, good bye, and then they
broke up and then he was trying to get me back.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Well, he had to break up with her. He can't
get anything out of her now. Well, thank you for
telling us your little secret.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, by like, what's your dirty little secret,

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
