Thanks mate, Ice to the front, pug Son.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
I mean that was there. That wasn't even just a
small little glimpse. That was all our X ray poove.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
The good thing about these glasses is even when I'm
looking forward at the screen at what I'm pressing on
the button for you, they reflect so I can look
out the window at the same time.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Technology.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, I don't think we don't know that push.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Okay, right, that's for the listener.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
The Yeah, how are we fellows?

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So good man, We're how about you, Jess, you're in
a funny mood?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Ey, I was fine, and now I'm in a bit
of a horror of the mood.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
I can I run a horror of a mood? One
voy you. I don't know if it's radio fes or
do it here. So we moved out of the house
so he'd go and clean it. Yeah, I've got my
daughter is on keeping one eye on here because she's
spinning around on a high cheer and I've got concerns,
and so I had to. So they were cleaned the

(01:19):
house like when you exit, when you exit the house, yes,
who cleans the house.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Were generally the people living in it.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but pugs, when you leave, do
you clean the house or do you get cleaners and
to clean the house? No? I clean it. Yeah, Jason's
been a while for you, so I won't ask you
that question. But well, back in the day, was that
I cleaned it? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I didn't have the money to high clow neither.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
So he said he he sent me photos and he said,
here we go. Yeah, yeah, look it was it was fine.
It's like these drawers haven't been cleaned out. There was
a bit in the kitchen on the extractor fan that
was missed, and what was the other thing? A bit

(02:05):
of better on the bath he reckoned, which was you know,
I had to get him anyway, and so, and some
stuff on the windows, which was the result of the
the painters that came around. So I said, look, I'm
not going to do that. I'll do the inside and
make sure you're all happy there. And the insides are
actually dirty because they'd run a lead outside which had

(02:27):
left the window open. Then they water blasted, so that
came inside the house. But anyway, just keep keep the
man happy. But as soon as as soon as I
got there, him and his wife said, oh, what's what's
going on here? There's dent in the lounge in front
of the TV on the floor because it's a wooden

(02:48):
little dent there. And I said, it's from the from
the couch. And his missus goes, nah, no, no, that's
not that's not from the couch. And these I should
point out not that Well, it doesn't matter. They're from
their first language, is there from another country? Okay? Right?
So she's just like, nah, this is from doing weight

(03:09):
you've been doing weights here? What? And I said, no, no,
it's from the couch because you can see it's an
L shape. But she's like, but there's some over here,
there's some over here, the some over here. I was like, yeah,
it's because it's an L shaped couch. So the leagus
for this part we're here, the leagues were here, and
the leagues were here, no, because they're just moving or
what the chairs the legs on your couch move all

(03:30):
the time. I said, well, I mean that that is
what it is no, No, it's not there. It's from weight.
So I was like, well, i'll send you a photo
of the leagus. There's no you know, I'll send your
photo of the leagues and then you know, we'll go
we can work it out from there. And then he goes, well,
well it can't be. I said, look, man, I've got
like an hour I'm not going to spend arguing with you. Yeah. Now,

(03:54):
remember that I also had an argument, not with Mama buddy.
I'd had an argument with him before about the pool. Yes,
hate it, because what's amazing about these two individuals is
they've got no qualms whatsoever calling you a liar to
your face. They've just got no issue with it at all.
So I'm telling them it's the couch. They're telling me

(04:15):
it's not so okay. Sorry. So what I was doing
was I moved the couch and I was doing weights
in front of the TV. Is that what I was doing?
And so he did a similar thing with the pool
where it was he was saying that the pool was
broken because I hadn't cleaned it. But I said I

(04:35):
hadn't cleaned it because the pool was broken. Remember it
leaked out about four foot of water. Yes, And then
we had pool people come over to investigate, and they said, oh,
this has not been this is thirty years old, this pool,
and it's never been cleaned or sort of or had
any maintenance done on it whatsoever. So it turned out
he was wrong on that one, but they didn't stop
him this time. So anyway, then I'm in the Then
I'm in the bathroom, cleaning the bathroom. And now when

(04:59):
I say that, the too were talking shit about me
and their native tongue. Man, they were just they didn't stop.
They didn't stop talking ship right in front of me
as well. But there's nothing I can do about it.
And after about five or ten minutes, he calls me
and it's like Mike, Mike, come and look. It's like

(05:19):
it's like, no, these are the marks here for your couch.
These are the marks here. Wait what? And I'm just like, bro,
I'm just not getting I'm not getting into it with you.
But his message was really chipping him right. She was
getting in his air. And he's like, yeah, right, right,

(05:39):
whatever the equivalent was. And so then I keep on
doing that. And then then because I'm cleaning the bathroom,
now he's there, I asked her. He's there. They're painting
the house. They're painting the interior of the house. While
I'm there, I turned up in their painting, which would
ask them to do when they wouldn't do. So they're
going to rent it out again. And then I'm cleaning

(06:00):
in the bathroom and he's like, oh have you Are
you cleaning it? And I said yeah. He's like, you
you haven't paid professionals to come in. I said no.
He's like, oh, I said, oh, are you painting this house?
And he said yeah, And I said, you're not getting

(06:22):
professionals and to do it. And he's the whole Archy
Big Show week days from four on Radio Hierarchy They
Big Show Podcast. Anyway, it was a bit of a marathon.
I then had to clean, so I cleaned the extractor
fan beautiful, clean the door on the oven beautiful. And

(06:46):
I said, I'll go back and I'll do do the windows.
But he is filthy.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Now am I right?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
And remembering the last time you had the disagreement about
the poll that got so heated that you had to
ask him to leave.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yeah, because he wouldn't get out of the house. Yeah,
he was trying to go to work and he walked
back into the house. Yes, good, wouldn't bag her off.
So but I absolutely take his point about the dents
in the floor, right, because it's the feet were too
narrow on it. But because we've got the couch there,
we don't know an old mate over he is jumping
up and down on the couch when she's watching TV.

(07:18):
One hundred percent got no problem with sorting that out.
And when we moved the couch once to I think
vacuum under it or whatever we did, We're like, oh shit,
we better get some rubber feet.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
For this, right, yeah, Okay, what I mean? Are we
talking dense or scratches dent? What do you do with
the dent in the floor?

Speaker 4 (07:36):
You can stand them out?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
But also if you if you if it was weights,
you'd be doing so many weights that there would be
so many more dents.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
And they'd be considerably bigger and sharp, sharp edges. I mean,
there's a million reasons why it's not dense. It's not
from weights, not least of all what I told you
what it was. It's a fucking couch. Can I excuse
my language? Can I?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
So?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Having said all that are there are their bond issues.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
Is this, what's is this?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
What's happening here is we're not going to give you
your bond back because I can tell you many many
horror stories, not just my own, people that never get
their bond for ridiculous reasons.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
But just be on the show struggle the only thing.
But that's a great idea for for I've got no
problem pain because we should have protected the floor, right,
I've got no problem with that at all. So yeah,
stand it out and give it a honest sweets. I've
got nowhere with that at all. But what I don't
like has been accused of being a liar. Yes, But

(08:41):
also what I did was and I thought of it
marginally too late. While they're talking about me. I started
recording them, right. So I'd like to get somebody whose
native tongue is the same and see if we can
get it translated.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
That's actually a great shot.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Because it would be God, it will be good.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Either you've got to find out what the language.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
I know what the language is, Okay, one.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Of those things you know that my partner and I
at the time when we were moving out of a
particular place take photos. And also, if you are the
landlord in that situation take face, because we ended up
in court over our bond, which we comprehensively won, yes,

(09:22):
and to the point where the judge was like, this
was a complete waste of my because of because we
went through a conciliatory sort of where they have a
what do you.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Call them, yeah, a media mediator.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Think we went through that and it was the mediator
we could tell my partner and I was just going,
who is this woman? This is ridiculous. And at the
time of the mediation we went, we went, we'll give
you fifty bucks. But because we were not wrong about anything,

(09:55):
we were totally in the right of it, and we went,
we can't be, but we'll give you take fifty bucks.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Yeah, that's yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
But she went, no, No, I want the full him out.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
And as it turns out, interestingly, it was because she
was doing a big reno after we moved out and
she was wanting to pay for that by by not
giving our bond back.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Yeah. And the wife had actually had a similar issue
when she was on a job in Wellington last year
and she had actually she stayed there for two weeks
and that was it, and then the rest of the
times she was somewhere else on location, and then when
she moved out, the landlord tried to get her for
the same thing. These dents and the and the floorboards
which are from couch leagues, yes, but they were from

(10:35):
a previous tenant obviously because they didn't match up with
these ones. But the landlord just refuted, wouldn't let anybody
come and inspect. It wouldn't any and it was just
like they just paid out. But anyway, it was good,
good times, good times, and he was pretty good. Actually.
He goes, where have you moved to? And I said,
I just up the road. He goes, oh, have you
have your border house? And I was like, nah, man,

(10:56):
then too expensive. He goes, n the cheap cheap. I
was like, oh, yeah, they're real cheap.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Well not in that area they're now.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Well, but also yeah, well certainly, but in Auckland at all.
So I sort of think. The other day in the
paper was a house for one point five This couple
had a combined income of three hundred and fifty grand
or something like that, three thirty. They had twenty percent deposit,
so they had one point two million as a mortgage.
Their repayments were two and a half grand.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
A weekly, joking two and.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
A half grand a week. That gives me faith in
me again. It's the interest bro. Three. You'll be right.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
A friend of a friend of ours, because my wife
and I are thinking of selling our house, right, and
you know, you get your GV and you go, okay,
what most houses at the moment, particularly in our area,
aren't selling at.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Their GV right.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Often normally you in a normal you could check on
a bit more, but at the moment it's it's paying
out under GV right, And so we were thinking, oh,
so we're probably end up realistically with X amount. And anyway,
a friend of ours is selling their house and I said, oh,
can I have a look at it?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
And it was like for seven hundred and ninety five thousand,
and it's beautiful. It is a stunning house. And I
was like, that's what we were looking at, kind of
bringing it down.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
To and I was like Jesus, yeah, right, but have
you got a bigger bit of land? Yeah? Probably, yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
I had a fair amount of land on it too,
but it was just this immaculate version, right, And I
just went, oh my god, I'm surprised that is that?

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, nice house, man, really nice house.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
I won't buy that. I won't bother looking at yours.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
No, you wouldn't handle mine. Mate, You need to be
a backbone to live in my house. You got a
heat pump makeshep.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Just an update on that. By the way, got our
first bell, oh yeah, under our normal bell.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
But I want to hear about your next one. How
long have you had that in?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
This was this was an actual estimate, and it was
the month that we had it installed right right, so
that probably the next one. But no, but mm hmm,
it started when we had it installed right that month.
So yeah, it was an estimate. No, it wasn't read.
It was an actual reading. That next one will be

(13:21):
like eight hundred.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
I'd say, so, yeah, I can start cranking it up.
Yeah yeah, jeez.
