Speaker 1 (00:00):
C King, Carmen, it's been ninety five, are right about Now?
We go around the room, we spread a little positivity,
a little thing that we likes to do called What's Good.
Sprawed to you by your friends. No Area workforce connection.
Crazy story right here Sunday, an Army football player by
the name of Larry Pickett Junior rescue a man from
a burning car crash at Fort Montgomery, New York, pulling

(00:22):
him to a safety and then when they finally got
there the firefighters, they said the vehicle was fully engulfed
in flames and it was because of Pickett's quick actions
that the man was pulled out safely and no harm
was done to him whatsoever. Now this is just days
after my man made his college football debut. He was

(00:43):
praised by his coaches his family for his courage, his selflessness,
and his long standing commitment to service. So shout out
to Larry Pickett Junior, an Army football player, for rescuing
a man from a burning car. Wow car was glenn
Is was good? Let me tell you why.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
So.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
There's a thirteen year old boy named Noah right Oka.
He had spent all his summer mowing lawns, and just
doing other chores to save up money to get a
dirt bike. He'd been wanting a dirt bike for quite
some time. He literally sacrificed the entire you know, Scholastic
news sells you know how to yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
He was doing that too.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
He literally spent summer just focusing on making this money
for this dirt bike I want thirteen years old.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Keep that in mind.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Okay, he ends up getting the dirt bike. Obviously, he's
so excited about it. Come to find out it was
actually a stolen dirt bike. So the owner Noah, I
mean Glenn, this is when it comes in. Basically he
sees like, hey, you know what, this kid obviously meant.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
To get this bike.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
He really worked hard for it. So here's what I
want to do. I'm going to start off this GoFundMe Paige,
I want my bike back, but I want him to
get his own too. And so because he started this
like GoFundMe page, it was able to raise so much
money to be able to get him the bike actually
a better bike than the one he got. So shout
out to the owner who basically saw this innocent mistake
from this kid, and I'm looking them up.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
So there you go a little positivity inside West Gad
and we're gonna come right back with caller number nine
and two four seven fifty five ninety five dog Days Fast,

Speaker 1 (02:25):

real way. Really, Oh my god, you're going to dog Days.

Speaker 4 (02:32):

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Oh, this is gonna be so fun.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
So you got the Chainsmokers, soob you guys say to
Gemini and so many more are gonna be taking the stage.
And now you and that bang girl, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Hold on now, hey, have a fantastic day at work,
a great day at school. Thank you so much for

Next you're giving you on the ju see news you
need to start your day. The Celebrity Juice is on
now in the morning, So cardib.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Was clear Tuesday of allegations she assaulted a security guard
outside of Los Angeles venue. This was ongoing. It was
a big deal because we saw different looks, different wigs,
different statements that were made when she took the stage.
But damn it was a stage for her.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Honest stage. I mean, let's be honest. When we watched
her give her testimony, was like she was on stage. No,
it really did feel that way.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
It all kind of felt performative, which is like perfect
pr for her yess sake.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
For the of her album album. But anyway, she did.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Want to say this, although she won and she's not
actually gonna countter to this person, she wants people to
know the next time someone tries it, it's gonna happen.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
With that being said this time around, I'm gonna be nice.
The next person to try to do a fervolost lawful
against me, I'm going to counter soon and I'm gonna
make you pay because this is not okay. I think
people have like this misinterpretations of celebrities, Like I said,
oh well, we can ask for this, and they're gonna settle.

(04:06):
You don't work at home and you don't work all
day and you don't work for your money to give
out your money. So don't ever think that I'm just
gonna give you my money.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
That I work hard for.

Speaker 6 (04:16):
I don't lay in bed all day. I work all day,
and I work hard for my money, for my kids
and for people I take care of. So don't you
ever think that you're gonna sue me and I'm just
gonna settle and just give me my money.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
It's not.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
And by the way, she also went on to say,
like to her fans out there, stand down, like, don't
you know attack this girl. Don't go looking for their family.
I thought it was pretty dope that she thought about that,
you know, in that moment.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah, that's nice and everything. But with the pregnancy, Now here's.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
The thing that we still don't know. She ended up
posting a video shortly thereafter where it shows her putting
like stuffing her her suits before putting them on. So
she's basically telling the world like, ha ha, you thought
I was pregnant, right, But.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
People are like, all right, well, show us your really
she didn't do that, she didn't take it off. So
it's still a mystery.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Addressed that, right, we cool when you went in the
court case but addressed the pregnancy.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yeah, we don't find out. I guess it's only so
long she could keep that a secret. You know. All
the details are up and the footage up. I many
five for a love that time.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
K and Carmen have more music and minutes we are
Presdo's hole for if I've been a second date update
trying to play the role of Cupid. Got to figure
out why you got ghosted on c K Carmen be
ninety five.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Yeah, I met Kate on Hinge. We ran out to dinner,
nice restaurant. You know, I'm pretty old school, and so
I bought her flowers. Uh and you know, pulled out
her chairs and all that stuff. Okay, held open the door,
you know, and you know she seemed into her as well.

(05:46):
She said she really liked chivalry, you know that it
wasn't dead and uh so it's going well. But about
an hour into the date, you know, she she kind
of teared up and looked like she was an cry
and she feared herself in her the bathroom. But she
never came back. Damn. She just texted, I'm so sorry

(06:11):
and uh and that was about a week ago.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Wow, Wow, So she literally left you hanging at the date,
like on the date.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
At the restaurant.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
That's right, Yeah, she's.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
That's not a good look. Something crazy happened, started crying
at the table.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Yeah, but before that, what did you say that made
her want to cry?

Speaker 4 (06:32):
I honestly didn't say anything. I can't think of anything
that would have made her cry. And it was very strange.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
What if the whole thing kind of reminded her of
an X or a previous relationship or how long ago
has she been out of a relationship, Like when you
think about it, like crying, like going into tears, like
something must have triggered something.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Unless it was that time of the month and that case,
then yeah, because you could just have an emotional day.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
It could have yeah night. I really don't know, but
I mean I think she can for a while.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
So all right, well this is a very interesting one.
We're gonna go ahead and get her on the phone.
We're gonna see what Kate has to say. Hopefully she
remembers going on this date. I'm sure she will, and
we'll see why she just ghosted you, Joe. All right, Yeah,
you gonna try to help out Joe. Next inside this

(07:32):
second date update see k and Carmen be ninety five.
Joe Guy goes it on. But you know what, we've
tracked down Kate. We're gonna try to help him out
inside the second date updates and figure out why did
she just leave him like that? See King Carmen BE
ninety five. Hey Kate, good morning, It's see Kane Carmen
from B ninety five.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
All right, well, well I was gonna ask your permission
and then we're gonna continue this call on the radio.
Are you good with that?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
All right? Cool? Cool. So you recently went on a
day do you remember with who?

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:05):
I do.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I went on a date with Joe.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Tell us how that date went with you and Joe.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I don't know it. I'm kind of embarrassed about it.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Uh oh okay. So to take us from.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
The top, So we were on the state and it
was really nice. We you know, went to the nice
restaurant and he was super kind, you know, he was
very chivalrous. He was like, you know, you know, kind
of old school, and I was really enjoying it. But
the thing was is that he brought flowers, which of

(08:39):
course I thought was really nice. But I was allergic
to the flowers. Realized that, you know, sometimes I have
like a pollen allergy. Okay, I smelled the flowers and
they were great, but like, you know, so you had
a bad hour or so into the meal.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
As we're like sitting.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
There and talking, my eyes started watering. Hmm. It seemed
like I was crying, and I got up and went
to the bathroom, and I was just so embarrassed, and
just you know, I freaked out a little.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Bit and I ran, oh, damn, Okay, well, that don't
sound too bad. I thought maybe Joe did something that
pissed you off or made you sad.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
No, No, he was great.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
But I was just so embarrassed because he pulled out
all the stops to like do something really nice for me, right,
and you know, just my own personal issues sort of
got in the way.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
And so you said bad about it?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah, no, no, no, she definitely felt bad. And now I
don't know if you understand how the second date update works,
but we have Joe on the phone right now. Yeah, Joe,
Joe got to listen to all of this. Joe, Now
you know why she was crying. Now you know why
she went to the bathroom. And never came back.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Yeah, she was pretty much embarrassed for herself.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Yeah, I feel really bad.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I feel really bad.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
I'm sorry, Joe. I've got a little bit like social anxiety,
and I just didn't know what she's doing every week.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
And you know what, I bet you that's the reason
why she probably hasn't hit you back. Also, because let's
be honest, he may have just been so embarrassed by
the whole ordeal. She's like, I don't even know how
I'm gonna face it.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Yeah, yeah, I understand. I wish I wish they did,
but I get it, and I'm sorry that happened. I'm
just glad I didn't do anything to make you cry.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Right, well, you did do something to make a cry.
You bought them damn flowers.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
And that's why she felt embarrassed because she didn't want
to put it on you, you know.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
But it was all your fault, Joe.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
I wish you would have just stayed and like talk
to you, talk to you about it, you know.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
But she was probably looking ugly. She probably had that.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Ugly face, like, yeah, the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Yeah, you know, the eyes were all swollen, she was
looking all bad.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I feel you well, listen, now we got to know.
I mean, is this something you guys could work.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Through as long as he doesn't bring flowers?

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Please?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Now that you don't, but I'm done for another date.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Okay, And there you go. That's what I'm talking about
right there. See, Joe, you did all the right things, man,
even bringing flowers. That's the right thing.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
In case you didn't know that she was allergic, next
time we could do chocolates or something.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yeah, now, why she's allergic to chocolate?

Speaker 3 (11:20):
I know, right, Hopefully she don't have any more allergy
reactions to anything.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
But all right, well it looks like a second date
is definitely gonna happen. I'm happy that everything worked out
and it was just a little pollen allergy. Reach out
to him, set it up, and you guys go on
date number two. All works out like that, c K
and Carmen be ninety five second date update. All right,
So if you could wish one food was a diet food,

(11:45):
even though you know, hell no, it's not a diet food,
what would it be? Two four seven fifty five ninety five.
We're gonna talk about that and take your phone calls next,
all right, So what food do you wish was a
diet food, even though you know dang well it is
not a dyet food. King Carmen be ninety five, Carmen.
One food would you be like, Man, if this was

(12:06):
a diet food, all would be good in the world.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Now, I was gonna say pizza, but then I was like, no,
I'm gonna take it a step further.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
I want to say anything with dough. Anything would be bread,
right because.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
It could be pita bread, you could make even a tortilla,
like everything that's doe although would make me so happy
because life would be easier. There's so many different places
you could make.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
I see exactly what you're saying there, And you know
what pizza would be like the first thing I think of,
But I think tacos for me, Like I love tacos,
so anything tacos crunchy, soft, you know, street tacos. I'm
eating them.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
All like like oh yeah, instead of like I'm gonna
get a salad, I'm gonna get a taco taco.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Because it's healthy. But I have yet to come across
a healthy taco that I like, yeah, one.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
That you can one that tastes like it's not healthy.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Yes, right, So we got an abby and clovis. What
is the food that you wish was a diet.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
I wish I could eat pizza whatever I wanted and
not have to worry about the consequences of eating pizza
because I would just be able to say that I
want a diet because I'm eating pizza.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
You know what, again is the logic, Like, yes, I
wish I could, And I think pizza is kind of
the same.

Speaker 6 (13:19):
Like it's actually a.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Trend that's happening right now where people are making the
healthy pizza. It's like a high protein pizza and basically
what they're doing is they're using uh, basically mashed up
chicken to make the crust and then they put.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
The sauce on top with the cheese.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
I'm like, yeah, still wouldn't fulfill me because I would
still be like, I want regular doey pizza.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
I want the pizza with the pepperoni the other ingredients
so good. Yolanda's like, look, Cek, I feel you go ahead, Yolanda,
talk to them now.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
I wish tacos were diet food because in all honestly,
they have tomatoes, they have clancho, they have lettuce.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
You know, they've got healthy stuff on it in them.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Why can't they see a diatote.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Right, I like, I should break the down. She'd pretty
much describe a salad, but then you get a tortilla.
Ryan is up right now, right into Larry, go ahead, man, man.
I wish calzones were diet food.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
If I could find some diet where I could just
live off of cal zone, that would be my dream.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
I mean, pizza is good. I like pizza, but there's
just something.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
About a calzone.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Maybe it's just like my childhood nostalgia for a half
decent hot pocket. But I would eat an entire diet
of colsone, no.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Problem, so good.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Crazy, that's crazy because you could you could make so
many different types of calzonies, Like you could just a pesto,
one alfredo, one pizza, whatever what.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
You could literally make every type. See, we're just wishing
over here. I mean we over here with real fat
kid problems, thinking about all the different things that we
wish we could eat on a diet, knowing damn well,
we can never make that.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Ha.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
This is why our soundtrack is big Back, Big Back,
big Back, big.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Bag Oh man c k Karmen be ninety five. Thank you,
so much for your phone calls, and we're gonna come
right back and give you the three things that you
need to know next. All right, So let's do with
the three things that you need to know for this Wednesday,
September third, twenty twenty five, McDonald's is bringing back a
lot of extra value meals starting on Monday, including the

the Big Mac Value Meal for like eight dollars. I'm like,

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yeah, I like that, Okay, so needing something like that.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Value meals affordable comfort food is back on the McDonald's
menu starting Monday, September eighth. Three things you need to
know Karmen Washita.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Speaking of food, this is actually exciting. Chappotle is gonna
be offering bogo free entrees on September fifteenth, and apparently
are you gonna do is wear.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
A college football jersey. Okay when you go in. I
think that's actually pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
I think think you've done this before in the past.
But yes, that's a September fifteenth, it's a bogo free
so obviously going with somebody.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
I saw that they're teaming up with EA Sports College
Football twenty six so you're right, super cool, and I
think it's because they're bringing back the Carnea side.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Yeah, I think so. Yes, it's obviously a promo for something.
But all we are worried about is a bogo, right,
I want to.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Get one free? Yeah, last September fifteenth, But I think
the deal goes on long. Wait, it's not.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
It says author valid after five pm, so you gotta
wait till after five and you know that line's going
to be.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Christmasy September fifteenth, college football. Very excited about that, and
wrapping up the three things that you need to know
in the world of sports. Speaking of college football, your
Fresno State Bulldogs are in action this upcoming Saturday, but
they're going to be on the road this week against
Oregon State. This is a game I believe the Bulldogs
could win. Oh yeah, considering that Oregon State didn't look

(16:56):
very good last week and Fresno State seemed to have
it together. So can't wait to see the Dogs in action.
It's gonna be an early kickoff. I want to say
a twelve thirty kickoff this Saturday against Oregon State should
be good it. So there go the three things that
you need to know right here with ce K and
Carmen Be ninety five. One more thing you need to
know your chance to get one thousand dollars and a

(17:18):
trip to the iHeart Radio Music Festival. Carmen is coming up.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yeah, man, we're talking about the Chain Smokers, s SOB, Sage,
the Gemini going to be in the building.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Oh yeah, we do have those dog Days Fest tickets too.
Those are gonna be coming up as well. But I
totally am It's all right. Yes, the iHeart Radio Music Festival.
I know we're talking with that.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
We're talking Mariah Carry of course, we're talking Llo Cool,
j litl Wan, Glow, Rilla, jelly Roll.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
The list goes on, man, so many different festivals. But
that's actually exciting. It's a good mistake to have, alright,

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
