Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a special time now because it's the holidays.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yeah, and we asked you guys to vote for your
favorite to Catch a Cheater of the Year, and of
course after thousands of votes, everybody wanted to hear the
take catch a Cheater. That took us an entire week
to track down the cheater. So we're going to start today,
but on Friday at the same time, we will have
an update everybody, so make sure you follow along all week.
But here it is the craziest to Catch a Cheater
(00:23):
of the Year. Taylor is on the phone today for
to Catch a Cheater and she thinks that her boyfriend
of three years named Matt might be messing around. So
a little while, we'll call him and see if we
can catch him if he is. But first, Taylor, sorry
you have to come on the show this way, But
what's going on? Why do you think Mats cheating?
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Okay, so I guess it's just like just been a
change in our lives. Like a few months ago, he
had this opportunity to take a big project at work,
which it could lead to promotion, which is great and
I'm excited for him and all of that, but it's
like been putting in more like office hours and like
business trips that weren't like before, and like other things.
(01:00):
And again, I'm so proud of him and I'm here
to support that, but it has done more than I
guess my brain was ready for. Okay, And then like recently,
I guess, like the planted speed if you will, he
came home in the middle of the day and I
was supposed to be like out with friends with brunch
(01:21):
and like running errand and he was like really surprised
when I came home, and it was like awkward.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
I liked that awkward tension that you caught him or
he could have been caught doing something kind of, but
he was like.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Home alone, but it was just like he wasn't supposed
to be there. So I was just like, what the heck,
you know? And then I was like, wow, he smells
a lot like perfume. Then it was like that awkwardness
with like this very pungent perfume, and I did question
about it. I was like, why do you smell like
in a woman as dramatic as that, And he was like,
(01:55):
there was a lady at the airport. She had like
a ton on and he told me, like overreacting.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
That was, you know, excuse Okay, I'm sorry, do you
will do you ever leave here smelling like mirror Victoria
because we're no perfume?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Well, he was like, the set's really so close together
on the airplane and blah blah blah blah, and they
faced that together and she's like, I'm just pungent. I guess,
but I don't know. It's just like I don't know
if I'm overreacting or what. I feel like it does
like need answers. It's just like that little voice in
my head that's like ding ding ding yeastya.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Here, That excuse feels like a stretch. So aside from
catching him potentially in the act of something and hiding perfume,
has he been acting different towards you?
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I mean, I feel like his brain's been in other places.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
But again, I like put it in this like compartment
in my own brain of like he's taking on more
at work and we have a lot more to do
and don't be like a non supportive partner. I mean,
like we've been together for three years, but we've only
been living together for six months.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Okay, okay, do.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
You think that he could be spending time with somebody
in his new work group, like, are you familiar with
who it is exactly that he's working with?
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Well, like, if it isn't somebody that like he's traveling with,
because like mm hmmm, I don't know. It's it's just
like again I had to talk about like little jingle
jingle of like something's up here, and I don't want
to be a crazy person, but I'm also like at
that place where I'm like I need an answer.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Yeah, not crazy, though, Please don't give yourself that storyline.
You're not crazy because if you actually feel concerned whether
it's happening or not, it's valid.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Definitely not crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
And you already told us what grocery store he's a
rewards card member at, So we'll play a song come Back,
and then call him and do the usual pretend to
be from the grocery store and say that every single month,
we choose one random rewards member who gets a free
gift from the store, and it's flowers delivered to anybody
that they want, and we'll see if he sends those
flowers to you or to somebody else. Okay, okay, we'll
(03:51):
get your to catch a cheater next right in the
middle of to catch a cheater and if you're just
joining us. Taylor is on the phone and she thinks
that her boyfriend of three years named Matt might be cheating.
So we're about to call him and pretend to be
from the grocery store that he's a rewards member at
and say that every single month, we choose one lucky
rewards member who gets free flowers delivered from our floral department,
and we'll see if he sends those to his girlfriend,
Taylor or to somebody else. But before we do that, Taylor,
(04:13):
why don't you break down your situation one more time
for us.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
So Matt and I have been together for like three
years that only have been living together for like six months,
and he recently got a job promotion that has had
him travel a lot, and he came home sing like perfume.
And now I'm concerned, which.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Is a reasonable thing to be concerned about, especially since
he sided he thought or he blamed it on the
lady sitting next to him on the airplane.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, yeah, it doesn't sound like that's the real story.
But we'll see if we can catch him if he
is cheating.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Are you ready for us.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
To call him.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
Yeah, let's go for it.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Okay, here we go. Hello, Hi, this is Corbig calling
from So. I was looking for our rewards member named Matt.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
H.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
Yeah, this is him.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Hi, Matt.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Please don't hang up. This is not a marketing phone call.
I'm actually calling with some great news. Congratulations, you're this
month's winner.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Okay, okay, cool? Well what did I win?
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Every single month, we choose one Rewards Card member to
say thank you very much for being such a loyal
customer that we give you a free gift. So you're
this month's winner, and you've won thirty six long stem
red roses, a box of candy or chocolate, and a
card to be delivered to anybody that you want within
the fifty United States, absolutely free. Oh nice?
Speaker 6 (05:39):
Do I need to keep you an address? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:41):
It's really simple how it works too. The first thing
that I would need would just be the first and
the last name of the person, and then if you
want to put anything on a card, and then we'll
get the address and be.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Good to go.
Speaker 6 (05:51):
Okay, so you can send it to Taylor.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
And do you want to put anything on a card?
Speaker 6 (05:59):
Yeah, yeah, you can put uh, just put I know
I've been gone a lot at work lately. But I
hope this reminds you of how much I love you.
And then but always my love, always my love. That's sweet. Yes,
I can absolutely do that.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Also, Matt, I feel the need to tell you at
this point, this is not a grocery store.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
M M.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
That's on the phone.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, this is actually a radio show. It's called The
Jewbell Show. Yeah him, I'm Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria, and
my name is Jewbll.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
And we do a segment on the show it's called
to Catch a Cheater, where if you think your significant
other might be messing around, you see who they sent
flowers to, and your girlfriend Taylor is actually on the phone.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
Oh hi, Taylor.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I just been in my head about everything and oh
my gosh, I'm so dumb.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Concerned.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Oh you know, like we're doing a lot with like
work and everything, and the other day when you like
came home early and like the perfume thing, and then
I don't know, I just my gears in my brain
just kept turning, and I just thought you were really sorry.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
I guess gotcha, gotcha, babe. I told you, like what
the perfume thing was all about, Like the lady was
sitting right next to me, and she was just she
got up a couple of times just spray perfume. Why
I don't know, but it was just really strong. I know.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
It's just like the other day when you came home early.
It was just like weird and it just felt like
something was off.
Speaker 6 (07:36):
I guess, well, I can reassure you that, like nothing
like that is happening. I mean, I was a little
shocked when I got home, but that wasn't because like
I saw you there and there was something like devious
going on. It's just I didn't expect you to be there,
and I thought I was going to have a couple
hours to myself, just relaxing, nothing going on, no noise anything.
(08:00):
And uh, I mean that's kind of hard for me
to explain it without sounding kind of like a jerk,
but like that's that's my honest reaction. And like with
the with the girl the lady on the plane, like
the part that I didn't tell you is that like
she like fell asleep on my shoulder. That's probably why
the scent got so intense. Like I was just miney
the own business, in my own world, and then she
(08:22):
she had gotten up, reperfume came down. I was like,
oh gosh, I think I coughed a little bit too,
because it was so strong on an airplane.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
And nobody's going to not say anything.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
I think people would be screaming about that.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
Like I think she went to the restroom, but I
don't know if she had she was meeting someone afterwards,
I don't know. But she fell asleep on my shoulder.
So I was like, great, you know this smell is
probably going to linger on me, and sure enough, I guess.
But no, Taylor, like, I'm not cheating on you, Like
this isn't anything devious, and I'm trying to do everything
is fine. I mean we've been a minute since we've
(08:56):
we've been into it together, but that's okay, Like we'll
get there.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Tell her you're going to fix it. Tell her that's
what you want people.
Speaker 6 (09:06):
Yeah, Like, I love you and I want to be
with you forever, and I know we'll get through this
at a moment.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Okay, I'm just I'm so sorry. I am thinking that
you would have cheated on me, and I never would
have minded like you wanted to have the house to
quiet to yourself, Okay.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Taylor, that's good news. He's not cheating.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
And I would also really like that adult time together.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Absolutely, But hey, like, I'm at work right now and
I promise you'd get back to what I'm doing. But Babe,
I love you and I'll see you later.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Okay, Okay, I love you too.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Take care, Matt. Thanks well, Taylor, that that's good. You
know he's not cheating.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Oh my gosh, thank you.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Pray so much.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
I am.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
I am so grateful that I am not a crazy person.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
That reassurance.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
But also thank you. I feel so much better.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Well, thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Thanks guys.
Speaker 2 (10:00):

It makes no sense.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
I'm living together for six months. Are you sure that's
your husband? How would that happens?
Speaker 7 (11:09):
That makes no sense.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Does your husband travel for work? Also?
Speaker 7 (11:13):
Yes, but like I mean, he wouldn't do this, so,
like it doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
