Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to catch a cheater.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Only on the Jubile Show.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Skuy is on the phone today for to catch a Cheater,
and she thinks that her boyfriend of a year named
Paul might be messing around. So we'll see if we
can help her out. Sky, Sorry, you have to come
on the show this way. But what's going on? Why
do you think Paul might be cheating?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
So Paul and I have been together for like about
a year or so, and you know, things are starting
to get a little bit more serious. Okay, We're well
in long term relationships before this, so you know, we
came into this agreeing to take things slowly, you know,
and it's been really good, like almost too good. We
don't argue. I really think I'm starting to fall in love.

(00:38):
Like I don't even know if I want.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
To say that, but right, but like, have you guys
said that to each other?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
We haven't yet.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
No, Okay, so I don't know, as I'm sort of
hesitant to say that on the.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Radio, but I feel like you're still healthy. Everybody says
it like after.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Three right, Well, I wasn't, like I said, I was
in a long term relationship before and I kind of
got burned in that.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
So I'm I really want this, Like I feel really
really good. I'm really buried about this. I really want
to make sure that we do.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
It right way smart, good for you.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
But anyways, what's going on now is that, like I
don't know if I like, I kind of think he's cheating.
And I'll tell you why. So, like he's been really
distracted with work.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Like normally we see each other three or.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Four times a week, but the last couple of weeks,
it's only been like once a week or like sometimes
like not even at all. And then the other day
I was over at his house and like, you know,
I was like feeling like in the mood and everything.
I was trying to like you know, get something to
go in, but he said, like he wasn't in the mood,

(01:40):
and like that's kind of weird for him, and I
don't think that's ever really happened. But the biggest thing
that I've noticed is that he's been texting with his ex.
Oh why yeah, well so they like I said, like
he was in a relationship for with her for about
five years. There's a really asked you breakup and then

(02:03):
like in the last couple of weeks. I noticed her name, like,
her name's Candice, and I've noticed her name pops up
on his phone like texts and stuff like that. Oh yeah,
and like you know, it's I don't think it's been
like I don't know, uncommon for people to text her exes,
but it's.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Been a lot.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
And I also know they didn't end on good terms,
so I don't know why they would be like communicating.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Have they talked before, like has he texted with her before?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Or is this not that I I mean no, not
that I know really, So again, it's like kind of
weird it is any.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
Reason why she would need to talk to him, like obviously,
if it's been that long, there.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
There might I mean there might be.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I can't. You know, they were together for a long time,
so I'm sure there's like stuff that would come up
here and there, but not like consistently talking like it's been,
like I've noticed it a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
So did you ask him about it?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
No, because I'm nervous about what he's gonna say. And
i also don't want him to like give I don't
want to give him a chance to lie to me, right.

Speaker 6 (02:59):
Like, even if he has your intentions, I think if
it's somebody that you had deep feelings for you we're
together for five years and you're talking to them all
of a sudden all the time. Yeah, I feel like
it would be a little bit confusing or eat for him.
Even if he hasn't done anything, there's definitely some type
of especially when the behavior has changed, right. Yeah, I'm
saying that to say that I understand why you're feeling

(03:20):
some kind of way. But do you think he's really
cheating or just talking to her? Like is he aren't?
Technically both would you consider both cheating? I mean yeah,
but then that's going to come down to a whole
different technicality. So I'm talking about like being physical with
each other. Do you think he's seeing.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Her at maybe? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
I think so.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
If they're texting all the time, and like the fact
that he's been so distant and things that so like
off in my opinion, is like a huge red flag
to me.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Sky is on the phone and she's been with her
boyfriend Paul for a year now, and now she thinks
that something might be going on. So we're about to
call him from the grocery store that he's a rewards
card My Brett and say that he's this month's lucky
winner of free flowers to live from our floral department,
and we'll see if he sends those to his girlfriend
Sky or to somebody else. But before we do that, Sky,
why don't you remind us why you think he might
be cheating?

Speaker 4 (04:08):
So in the past few weeks, he's been a little
bit distant, and I've also noticed he's been texting with
his ex Candice. I just noticed her phone, her name
pop up on his phone. So that's pretty weird, and
I'm a little concerned that something else is going on.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yeah, to your knowledge, he doesn't like talk to his
ex anymore.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
Right, No, not to my knowledge.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Okay, it's just starting. Yeah, are you ready for us
to call him? I guess all right, here we go.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Hey, this is Jordan calling from I was looking for
our rewards card member named Paul.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
Paul.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Hey, please don't hang up. This is not a marketing
phone call.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I'm actually calling to say congratulations, thank you for shopping
with us.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Here this month's big winner.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Okay, what I landed?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Something?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
The flowers and I get flowers.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yes, every single month, we choose one random Awards card
member who gets free flowers delivered from our new and
improved floral department. So you've won thirty six long stam
red roses, a box of candy or chocolates, and a
car to be delivered to anybody that you want within
the fifty United States of America.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
Do I have to like hand over my stuff like
credit card and all that.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
No purchase necessary, no info necessary. It's just our way
of saying thank you very much for shopping with us
and being on our rewards program. Okay, great, Okay, Well
this here's how it works. I can take the information
in just a matter of minutes over the phone. If
you know who you want to send them to right now,
I'm prepared to do that.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
Is there any way you could make the roses like
white instead of are they red or white?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Does it matter? I don't know, but that I can
find out that answer for you before we hang up. Okay,
all right.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
All I would need from you to get these ordered
and shipped out would be the first and last name
of the person you like to send them to, whatever
you like to put on a card, and then we'll
get the address.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Okay, send them to?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
All right? And do you want to put anything on
a card to Candace.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
Uh yeah, just right, like something to the effective.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Uh, keep your head up. Only another week and it's
all over. I promise, keep your head up.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Oh my god, I knew it. I knew it. You're
gonna break up with me this week.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Paul, that's your girlfriend's sky. This is actually the Jubil Show.
It's a radio show. We do a segment called to
Catch a Cheater, where if you think your significant other
is cheating, you see who they send flowers to.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
I can't believe you're cheating with Cande. This is insane.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Paul.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
I knew it. I knew it. What do you even
have to say right now?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I really what?

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
It sounds to me like you're caught.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Okay, Yeah, come.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
On, explain yourself. I don't know your ex girlfriend, I
mean after five years. Okay, yeah, yeah, I know.

Speaker 7 (07:03):
I Just talk for a second here and just tell
you it's not it's what this looks like.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
Oh it isn't.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
It isn't. Okay, yeah, yeah, by all means, explain yourself.
I don't know if I was going to get yourself
out of this, but go for it.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I'll tell you if you just give me a second Okay,
I know.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Okay, I've given you.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
I understand how this looks and this is the thing
they do over it's a radio. But I can prove
totally that this is not what it looks like. Okay,
I promise you. It's a big miscommunication, all right.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Oh, a miscommunication. You barely wanted to see me the
last few.

Speaker 7 (07:38):
Weeks, guys, is a big miscommunication. And I'm going to
explain it to you.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Yeah, okay, I explain it. I mean, you've barely wanted
to see me the last weeks. You haven't wanted to
get into it. I was going to say, but I
do lie to me about it.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
I should have addressed all that. It's been very crazy
at work, as you know. And this is why Candice
texting you. I've seen her name pop up on your
phone exactly. So Canvas now works at my job. She's
a new hire there, and I should have told you.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
And why you're actually works at your job? Are you crazy?

Speaker 6 (08:14):
No?

Speaker 1 (08:14):
No, no, no, no no no no, it's not that Canvas.
It's a different Candas.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Then why would you feel like you needed to tell
her that in the beginning. I'm kind of confused you
were acting like this was somebody that she already knew.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
For one second, I was on the radio order in
Roses and then I'm getting bombarded by and now I'm
on the I'm like.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, this time, I'm kind of backing.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
You.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Literally sent Candace flowers and it's all going to be
over next week.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
Well, I said the last name was on there, and
so it's a different last name. Please tell you what happened,
and then you can decide whether you want to believe.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
I've been waiting here for five minutes waiting for you
to claim.

Speaker 7 (08:51):
All right, Okay, so Candace. Candace is a new employee,
not ex girlfriend Canvas. She's a new employee and I've
been passed with training her. We do high pressure sales job,
as you know, and it's been pretty hard on her
and I've been tasked with training her over the last week.
And I sent her the flowers because I feel bad

(09:12):
because she messed up on a sale the other day
and I kind of snapped at her, I mean, a
bitter head off, so I thought it would be a
nice gesture. It was stupid, and I should I should
have just sent them to you. But like, this is
a complete platonic work thing, and it was free, so
I was like, well.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
So really it has no value, Okay, but what's going
to be over in a week?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Why do you have to include that her training period?

Speaker 7 (09:39):
It's a one week training period and not that, and
she's getting put through the wringer, and then I'm like,
that'll be over, it'll be behind, so her stress levels
will drop severely and I'm gonna have to be working
with her forever. So I don't either hating me, So
I just want to reliterate that I would I would
never step out on you, and I've been cheated before,

(10:00):
so I don't plan to do it on somebody else.
And I've been really I've been feeling very bad about
how I've been with you and distracted, and I've just
been busy handling this situation at work. This job is exhausting,
and she is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Did oh, also, do you have it?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Did you?

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Were you recording the whole thing? Because I did ask
for White on the roads?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
You did.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
White's friends?

Speaker 6 (10:31):
What wasn't the first thing that came to my mind,
But now Red and White's her friends friendship.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Yellow is friendship either way, for a different color than
the red.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
But I I feel so bad now.

Speaker 6 (10:50):
I mean, you don't need to feel bad. You had
every right to feel the way that you did. The
communication needed to happen.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I mean, how do you know the new person's training
is the name candidates as well? What are the chances?
What are the odds? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Oh oh god, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I yelled at
you that

Speaker 7 (11:09):
Do you ever know when you go through customs and
you feel nervous and you have nothing to hide, like
that's in like the last ten minutes.
