Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yes, ready to be amazed by the wizard of Weird
Strange Thing with Joshua Warna. I am josh with b Warren,
and each week on this show, I'll be bringing you
brand new mind blowing content, news, exercises, and weird experiments

(01:17):
you can do at home, and a lot more on
this edition of the show. Yesterday I investigated this house
and oh yeah, you bet, I'm talking about a haunted
house right here in Las Vegas, Nevada. But not just

(01:38):
any old haunted house. It's one of those stories. Where
shall I begin? M M Well, I have lived here
in Las Vegas for about six and a half years
or so, and I've done a lot of work with

(01:59):
the local media, and back in twenty eighteen, I met
a man named Guy Finalese, who at that time was
working as a cameraman and well just a general videographer
and photographer all that stuff, putting stories together for the
local Fox TV affiliate, Fox five. And I presume this

(02:27):
was around Halloween. I don't remember for certain, but it
would make sense because you know, the media always contacts
me around Halloween because they want some spooky story and
so and I nowadays I don't have much time to
get out and do that kind of thing in person,
but you know, I'm good at hooking people up, referring
them and all that. Anyway, So in twenty eighteen, Guy

(02:49):
and I got together. I forget exactly how it happened,
and we met up at this haunted park in Henderson, Nevada,
which is right outside of Vegas, the Fox Ridge Park where,
sure enough, years ago, this little boy died a car
accident and I don't remember all the details of that story,

(03:11):
but he came out to this playground, this right next
to the school where this incident happened, and I did
a little ghost hunt. It was just myself and Lauren
helping me out and Guy filming the thing, and he
just did a phenomenal job putting that story together for

(03:31):
the news and we kind of hit it off. After that,
he came out to a show that I used to produce.
I'll get back to that in a minute. But the
following year we decided to do another story again. I'm
sure it was around Halloween, and so that time we

(03:53):
went to this haunted oddity shop and filmed quite a
bit of interesting footage there. And one of the people
who I met at the oddity shop an artist who
had some of her work on display. There was a
woman named Irene B Smithy. Irene B Smithy, she has

(04:15):
been on numerous TV shows like Pond Stars, and she
makes art with skulls human flesh. We'll get back to
her later, all right. So Guy filmed this segment with
Nick Weird and myself, and of course Nick hosts the
Haunted Boulder City Ghost and UFO tour right here outside

(04:36):
of Nevada that I created and owned that. So anyway,
Nick and I did this investigation and he Guy put
this piece together and the piece came out and was
so fantastic. It looked so cinematic. It won an Emmy, seriously,
and I Guy and the reporter contacted me after they

(05:01):
came out of the Emmys and they were like, look
what we got, and they had they had the statue,
and I go, well, I was kind of the star
of an Emmy Award winning segment. There's a picture of
me somewhere. It might be at joshuap Warren dot com
holding the Emmy. Well. Anyway, so he and I we've

(05:22):
kept in touch and we have a lot of fun.
Sometimes we meet up socially. Sometimes we shoot segments. Suite
did something at the Pioneer Saloon. You may remember me
talking about that. And Guy contacted me recently and he said, hey,
let's do a new segment for Halloween, because I'm recording

(05:47):
this right now in the fall of twenty twenty four.
And you know, the thing is, I have done a
lot of TV in my life over the years. In fact,
going you know, if you go to my website Joshua
Pewarren dot com and you just click the link, Yeah,
there it is on the homepage. You see me with
the Emmy that we got. There's a heading do's TV

(06:10):
and film work? And if you click that. I mean,
it just has me doing TV going all the way
back to nineteen ninety six, and I mean all kinds
of shows, ghost Adventures in search of I even did
a show that William Shatner hosted, you know, I was

(06:31):
a cast member on the Travel Channel for a show.
I mean, I've just done a lot of TV, and
I really just I honestly, I just kind of feel
like that I've done enough. I'm middle aged now, and
if you're in any field of art or research, you
kind of spend the first part of your life learning

(06:52):
as much as you can while you have the energy,
and then the last part of your life sharing what
you learned and trying to help improve life for everyone.
And then of course just kind of being selfish and
doing whatever little personal experiments and things that bring you
you fun. And also, one thing that's always been very
frustrating for me is that when it comes to commercial

(07:15):
television stuff, paranormal investigation is generally incompatible with how TV
shows are put together. I mean, if you go into
an environment that's paranormally active, you're trying to measure subtle
things with very sensitive equipment. But when you create a
TV show, you completely alter the environment. You bring all

(07:39):
these new people into this place. People are going in
and out. They bring all this equipment in. It's producing
electromagnetic fields, electrostatic fields. They're turning on lights, which is
creating abnormal temperature differences. I mean, you're contaminating the scene
by shooting a TV show there, and you know it

(08:00):
may be that there are I mean, the only show
I can think of right now that might be kind
of a cool exception to that approach is that show
Paranormal Caught on Camera that I was on earlier this year,
because they just take footage that people have captured themselves
and then they feature it, so they're not actually coming

(08:20):
into your home. And so anyway, look, there are just issues.
That's been a struggle my whole life to try to
conduct paranormal investigation in front of a camera. And I've
always made it very clear there's real paranormal investigation and
then there's paranormal entertainment. And when you're doing a TV show,
it's entertainment. There's a schedule, I mean, a lot is
planned out, so you have to be a real expert

(08:45):
to go into a TV setting and pull off some
type of a credible investigation. But you see, here's where
guy threw me a curveball, because he said, this is
not just going to be an ordinary investigation for the
local news or some TV segment. He said, this will

(09:07):
be an official investigation for the city of Las Vegas.
And that is because that guy no longer works for
the Fox TV channel. He now works for the City
of Las Vegas. He was so good at what he did,
he got this job as as one of the big

(09:29):
digital content creators for the city because you know, cities
now they have to have somebody who goes out and
films a lot of stuff for them, whether it's cultural
or historic or official business, and you know, operates a
website and all that. And he is super tech savvy.
So he said, no, this will be an official investigation

(09:51):
for the City of Las Vegas. And we thought it
would be interesting to feature a place in Vegas that's
haunted for this Halloween season. And you know, okay, I will,
I'll do that. That just sounds cool, you know, because
I have been hired over the years by cities to
do things. The city of Morganton hired me one time

(10:11):
to create a tour for them and to write a
booklet for them about the Brown Mountain lights. And then
let's see then. Of course, Asheville, where I'm from, they
put me on a committee one time to help to
save Helen's Bridge, a haunted bridge there. But anyway, I
had never done anything officially for the city of Las Vegas,
and you know, such a famous city. I said, well,

(10:32):
I can't turn that down. So we started brainstorming, tossing
around possible ideas, and it was like, maybe we go
to this historic district or district, or maybe we go
to this hotel or whatever. And then serendipitously, in the
midst of all this, remember Irene B. Smithy, She's the

(10:55):
artist that I told you that I met at the
Oddity Shop years ago. Well, she she contacted me because
I had been in touch with her over the years
somewhat because I used to produce this show called the

(11:16):
Vegas Well we called it originally the Creepy Vegas Show,
and then later it became The Vegas Ghosts and UFO Show,
and sometimes she would come to the show and present
some of her art, so we kind of kept in touch.
When we come back from this break, I'm going to
tell you what she revealed when she contacted me, oh,
a couple of weeks ago, right in the middle of

(11:38):
us trying to figure out where to go and film
what she told me was happening at her house. And
I told you she has she has human body parts
all over the place. You know what, This is a
free show and if you like it and you want
me to keep doing it, well support the show. Please

(12:44):
You're listening to strange things on the iHeartRadio and Coast
to Coast am Paranormal podcast Network, and I will be
right back. Welcome back to Strange Things on the iHeartRadio

(13:33):
and Coast to Coast a m paranormal podcast Network. I
am your host, the Wizard of Weird, Joshua P. Warren,
beaming into your wormhole brain from my studio and Sin City,
Las Vegas, Nevada, where every day is golden and every
night is silver Ijietato Zoome. And right after I moved

(13:56):
to Las Vegas, of course, I created a Haunted Downtown
Las Vegas walking tour and I quickly discovered that it
just wasn't going to work out well enough for my
standards because it's just too loud and chaotic in downtown

(14:18):
Las Vegas. And so the next step was, well, why
don't we why don't we turn this into a show,
and so we would have a controlled setting. It's an
indoor environment. So we teamed up with a place called
Millennium Fandom, which was our first venue and a just
excellent pop culture bar. You should check it out if

(14:39):
you're ever in Las Vegas. And it was called at
first off the Creepy Vegas Show. And then but I
think that name actually creeps some people too much, so
I changed later to the Vegas Ghost and UFO Show.
Nick Weird was the host, and you know, we had
all kinds of haunted and cursed and charmed objects that

(15:03):
you could touch, and you got to watch all this
film footage that has never been on TV and just
see a lot of really cool stuff during this like
one hour show. And it was going great. We were expanding.
We actually started doing it in addition to that bar,
doing it at a casino on the strip. Everything was

(15:24):
going great, and then the pandemic hit and boom, everything
shut down, including Las Vegas, and so we said, well,
now what are we gonna do? So I said, well,
let's go back to the outdoor tour thing, but how
about Boulder City? And so I started developing, I wrote

(15:46):
and created, and I put this whole tour together, the
Haunted Boulder City, Ghosts and UFO Tour, which is doing
great to this day, and everybody could go do it
because it was an outdoor activity and hold Boulder City
history there is amazing. And so now we only occasionally
do the Vegas Ghost and UFO Show because we have

(16:10):
all of our efforts on the tour. So if you
come into Vegas and you have like a special group
or a special occasion and you'd be interested in maybe
arranging a show, well contact me through my website and
maybe I'll produce one for you. But I don't see
us doing that on a regular basis anymore because I
just don't have the time. The tour is just going
so well. We have thousands of people who take it

(16:32):
every year. I tell you all that because when the
show was going on, as I mentioned, this artist, Irene
the Smithy, she would come and set up some of
her art, which consisted of human skulls that she had

(16:52):
intricately carved and jewelry she made out of human flesh.
And during that time something changed her life. She met
a man who came to the show named Chuck, and well,
they hit it off and then they got married. And

(17:15):
then I think it was only maybe a little over
a year ago, I'm not sure about that, but so
she married. She married this man who came to the
show and moved into his house and guess what, it's
a haunted house. Irene contacted me and she told me that, well, okay,

(17:36):
for one thing, this house was built in nineteen fifty nine.
Very nice piece of property. I don't want to say,
of course, where it is. But there was a man
there named who lived there, named Johnny, and he was
a military veteran and long story short, you know, he

(18:00):
he got old enough, I mean, is well, he lost
his wife, he lost his daughter. He suddenly his health
went down the toilet and he said, oh well, I'm
not going out this way. So he went into his
bedroom and he killed himself with a shotgun. And Irene

(18:20):
said that furthermore, to make this whole situation a bit
more interesting, he was on the FBI watch list for
a possible involvement with the mob. And he was also
a collector of antiquities that he would find out in
the desert to various artifacts and things that probably should

(18:43):
have been left undisturbed, but he would bring some of
those things back to the property. So there was a
lot going on there. So it's no wonder that the
house is haunted. This is all documented, This is all true.
And of course when I say haunted, well now there's
you name it. There are shadowy forms that move around.
They the people who live there, Irene and Chuck and

(19:07):
their daughter getting touched and shoved. There's a grandfather clock
that doesn't work, and yet it will chime sometimes when
weird things happen in the house, as well as a
cuckoo clock that does the same thing. So Irene's telling
me all this stuff. So I said, you know, guy,
this is a rare opportunity to be able to go

(19:30):
into a private household, because Irene said, yep, you know,
you guys are welcome to come and do an investigation
here in film it. I said, look, you know, this
is a private household in Las Vegas. And you know
a lot of times if you shoot like a business
or a public place, then people think you're just looking
for publicity. You're sort of exploiting a ghost story. I

(19:50):
get that, but it's different when you go to public,
excuse me, a private house. So I pitched this to
Guy and his host Meredith, and they liked the idea,
so they pitched it to their boss and they got
the green light. So I go, all right, well, we're
gonna do this. So I contacted Nick Weird and my

(20:11):
friend Jason Sarachi, the UFO videographer, to assist me. But
then things got even weirder than I was expecting. First, off.
As we got closer to the date, I asked Guy
what time he wanted to meet up for us to
shoot this, and he said eight thirty am, and I

(20:33):
thought he was making a mistake. I said, you mean PM.
He goes, no, I know that's an odd time, but
we know we're on the city schedule here. We have
to do this ghost hunt at eight thirty am. And
I don't think I've ever done a ghost hunt at
eight thirty am, unless it's the end of a ghost
hunt after I've been up all night. So to start
a ghost hunt at eight thirty am in the morning,

(20:57):
that's going to throw me off because I'm not I'm
not usually a morning guy like that. As you can imagine,
I don't have much of a schedule. But I said,
all right, fine, if that's the way it has to be,
then you know, we'll do it. And Irene was fine
with Everybody was fine with it. So then, uh, maybe
like a day before we're actually going to get together,

(21:20):
and of course I'm going over all my equipment and
making sure everything's all calibrated and all the batteries are fresh.
Irene contacts me as if this situation is not going
to be strange enough, and she says, by the way,
I have a pet tarantula. And she got out of

(21:43):
her her case or her you know, or whatever they
keep her in. I don't know what do you keep
a tarantula in, like tarantula tarium or something. She got
out of her box and we just decided to let
her have free, free run of the head house, free rain.
So it's gonna be interesting to see whose spots are first.

(22:05):
That'll be a bonus. And I go, oh boy, because
you know what, all right, Look, I love all animals,
I really do. And if you tell me that you're
gonna take your tarantula out and you want me to

(22:27):
pet it, I might just do that. I might just
do it. But if I'm just like sitting there checking
my text messages and all of a sudden the tarantula
is on my arm, I don't know what I'm gonna do,
all right, And I'm just being honest with you because
I that's some kind of an instinct is gonna kick in.
And I because I'm getting goosebumps, right, are you? Yes,

(22:51):
I'm a rachnophobic, all right. That I can thank my
mom for that. I think she's very a rachnophobic. I
think she in there's something about that mom is going
to put all her fears into you. Isn't that one
of the Pink Floyd lyrics? So anyway, yeah, I would
not go out and have my own past spider. So
I'm thinking, all right, this is gonna be interesting, and

(23:14):
and hopefully the tarantula does it crawl into my gear bag.
I don't even want, you know, I don't even I
don't want to look in my gear bag. This was
just yesterday, you know, So you see how things are going. Well, look,
let's just cut to the chase. So the morning arrives

(23:34):
right and early. I am definitely not at one hundred percent.
So Lauren and I get there. We meet Nick Weird,
we meet Jason Saracci. They've got some of their own gear.
They're ready to go. And here's the thing about Irene.
She's the most warm, sweet, friendly, soft spoken, mild mannered,

(23:58):
polite lady you'll ever meet. And she has this necklace,
choker of human flesh around her neck. Okay, and she
has in a frame on the wall a woman's face,
a dead woman's face. Now I'm talking about like, you know,

(24:21):
something that like the ed Geen or the Texas Chainsaw Masker.
What have you if you just peeled somebody's face off
and you put it in a frame. She has that
hanging on the wall. She admits to being a cannibal. Okay,
we got to take a break. When we come back,

(24:42):
I'm setting the stage for this ghost hunt for you,
all right. I told you this is not a typical
haunted house investigation, and you can see I was not exaggerating.
So what do you think is gonna happen? Do you
think we're gonna see something? Think something interesting is going
to occur here? I'm Joshua P. Warren. You're listening to

(25:08):
Strange Things on the iHeart Radio and Coast to Coast
AM Paranormal Podcast Network, and I will be back after
these important messages. Welcome back to Strange Things on the

(25:56):
iHeart Radio and Coast to Coast AM Paranormal podc Guest Network.
I'm your host, Joshua pe Warren. M. This is the
show where the unusual becomes usual. Irene is creating a
doll out of human remains? Are you into dolls? I

(26:25):
told you she admits to cannibalism. She'll even offer you
some human flesh to eat if you want to eat it,
and I watched one of my friends do it as
a matter of fact. Trust me, I could go on
and on, and I want you to understand something. You
might be sitting there listening to this saying, wow, when

(26:46):
Irene hears this, she's going to be really mad that
Joshua is talking about all this stuff. But see, this
is also what's really weird. She's not. It's going to
be the opposite of that. She laughs. She loves this stuff.

(27:07):
She thinks it's wonderful that she's eccentric, you know, and
I mean, I'm telling you she is. She will not
be the least bit offended that I'm telling you all
this stuff she I mean, she's the one out there
presenting it on TV. And that's one of the reasons
also that I wanted to kind of tell you my
version of the story here, because trust me, most of

(27:31):
this kind of stuff is not going to be in
the final cut of the whatever segment or video that
guy puts together for the City of Las Vegas because
it's just it's just too controversial. I think it's a
little too extreme for a government project. I mean, it's
great that he has all this stuff, all this footage.

(27:52):
But I don't know what kind of version is going
to come out, but it's not going to have these
types of details. But I think you should know all
this because I want you to understand the layers of
activity that we're talking about here. We're talking about Las Vegas,
which is already a haunted place, and this is in
an area where a lot of mob activity did take

(28:13):
place back in the day. We're talking about knowing for
a fact that a man committed suicide in there. I
don't know if his wife and daughter also died in
the house, but you know, he was bringing objects into
the house that had all kinds of unknown but perhaps

(28:34):
significant energies. And then Irene gets in there, and she's
one of the most fascinating people I've ever met my
entire life. You know, she's totally unique. I've never met
anybody really like her. She brings all this stuff into
the house. We're talking about layer upon layer of complexity.
So anyway, as we're about to begin the investigation, the

(28:55):
first thing you have to do is get the story.
So she's taking us around and showing off all of
these things. And then and this is very fortunate for credibility.
Her neighbors came over and they were the ones who
found Johnny's dead body in two thousand and eight, and
they were happy to talk about that experience, and in fact,

(29:22):
well they I think what they said was that they
saw the like his garage door wasn't closed properly, and
you know, the newspaper wasn't picked up. I mean, he
was in a routine and when they went into check
on him, that's when they found this horrifying scene. But
they also pointed out that the room where Irene's daughter

(29:43):
currently stays, Irene's teenage daughter is the same room that
Johnny's daughter was in. And one of the ghostly things
that happens these days is that if Irene's daughter is
in her room getting dressed, and for whatever reason, the
door isn't closed, the door will slam shut. And that's interesting,

(30:08):
isn't it if you think about the idea that Johnny
had a daughter in there and he was maybe shielding
Irene's daughter like he would shield his own. I broke
out the trifild meters and I walked around this house
for the investigation, and I don't want to. I don't

(30:31):
want to spoil some of the stuff that you're going
to see in the video. But let me just tell
you the trifilm meters, which pick up the same type
of electromagnetic and electrostatic energy around a human body. They
were bumping at certain places even though nobody was around them.
We were talking to Johnny, the temperature would drop. Jason

(30:55):
Sarachi had a thermal camera and we would start talking
to Johnny and the camera would start flashing and doing
completely weird things. And one thing that really, you know,
it surprised me a lot. I have this little device

(31:15):
and gosh, I can't remember it's it's similar to what
you think of as like a spirit box. I can't
remember exactly what it's called. And I've always been very
wishy washy about this type of technology. Basically, it's like
a scanner. So it just sits there and it scans
through a bunch of frequencies on whatever band you want,

(31:36):
AM or FM, and you just get a little a
blip of sound, maybe a word or a syllable if
it comes across something. And the people who create these
create them based upon the theory that, well, a ghost
might want to talk to you, a spirit might want
to talk to you. But a spirit doesn't have a

(31:56):
voice box, right, doesn't have a larynux, doesn't have the
ability to create words for you in the same way,
might be able to telepathically communicate with one person, but
not to come right out and say something in a
way that a recorder might pick up. But they might
be able to influence the electromagnetic fields around a device,

(32:20):
and by doing so, and maybe with a little sprinkling
of synchronicity, might be able to force certain words to
be transmitted right at a particular moment in order to
answer a question. And there's a lot of you know how,

(32:44):
like in Paradoia, you can look at a cloud, you
could say, well, this looks like a rabbit or a
dragon or a unicorn, or or you look at the
moon you say, oh, it looks like there's a man
in the moon. That's that's Paradoia. Well there's a you know,
there's a It's a similar phenomenon with with auditory stuff.
My problem with EVP often is that if you listen

(33:04):
to EVP and I tell you in advance what I
think it's going to say, that it's more likely you're
gonna hear hear what I think I think it is,
rather than you picking it out on your own. So
that said, this is one of the reasons I very
skeptical and very reserved in my judgment about these types
of devices. However, having said that, we were sitting there,

(33:28):
and again I don't want to spoil anything, because I'll
tell you when the video is out, you can watch
it for yourself. We're sitting there and a question was asked,
and for that, I'm telling you, for that one second blip,
a very clear, distinct voice said okay, like there was

(33:49):
no wish you like there's there was no wiggle room
on that. We all looked at each other like that
was obviously sounded like a man saying okay. Now. If
that had happened once, you might say, all right, fine,
total coincidence. Glad that worked out for the camera. That's
gonna look good on TV. Nice spooky Halloween segment. But

(34:09):
then we were in another part of the house. We
sat down for another session, and we asked a question
or we said something, and once again, immediately the same
exact male voice said okay, Now that I have never
experienced before in my thirty plus years of doing paranormal investigation. Now,

(34:31):
I don't use these types of devices a lot, these
spirit box type things. And again I apologize for not
telling you exactly the one that I have, because it's
not in front of me right now. You know, I'll
tell you what. I'll get it during the next break,
and i'll tell you what it is. But that was
like I was struck by that, and I still am.

(34:54):
And the video there's obviously this just happened ye today.
I have a lot of stuff to analyze. I have
a lot to go over, and this podcast is recorded
oftentimes weeks before it is posted, and I don't know
when the video is going to come out, so the
video may or may not be out by the time

(35:16):
you see this. I will probably post the video, of
course on my social media or certainly notify people who
subscribe to my free e newsletter, unless that is I
come across as too old, fat and drunk. But hopefully you,
you know, you'll get to see some of this stuff

(35:37):
for yourself, because I'm if anybody could capture it properly,
it would be Guy. So that's all I'm going to
tell you because I don't I don't want to spoil it.
By the way, Irene has something else very special coming
up soon, and I will most likely have a new
report for you on that in the near future as well.

(36:01):
Oh yeah, but I guess you know what. I'll tell
you one more thing here is what happened at my
house after we got back from the investigation. Something happened
last night. Now, granted, I have a variety of things
in my house that are haunted, and when you bring

(36:25):
them in then sometimes, you know, you get some activity
for a while, then it tends to calm down. And
I don't. I don't bring negative things into the house.
Of course, I have Kennedy the haunted doll here. But well,
I didn't bring anything back from Irene's house. And yet

(36:46):
last night, you know, with the investigation was over by
sometime in the afternoon, we all partied ways or what
he had a good time that evening. Last night, something
happened my house, and Lauren told me that this had
never happened before. When we come back from the break,

(37:07):
I'm going to tell you what that is. Tell you
what happened at my house. And I have a story
for you that I've been meaning to get to, and
it's about a celebrity who had a paranormal experience, a
very personal paranormal experience. This just came out in the
news recently. I'm Joshua P. One. You're listening to Strange

(37:32):
Things on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast AM Paranormal
Podcast Network, and I will be right back. Welcome back

(38:18):
to the final segment of this edition of Strange Things
on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network.
I am your host, Joshua P. Warren, and I want
to make sure since this is the last segment, I
want to just sincerely think Irene and Chuck and Guy

(38:41):
and Meredith for working with me putting all this together.
It's so much fun. It's just so interesting. And of
course Jason and Nick did a great job assisting me. Lauren,
as always is a wonderful chauffeur who can to anything

(39:01):
I need. Oh okay, I did. Look. Guess what, folks,
It actually is a spirit box. I have it in
my hands, the one that I was using. It's called
a P S B seven, so P as I Peter
s and then B as in boys seven. It's actually
going to a hyphen in there p hyphen SB seven

(39:24):
spirit box looks like it's a registered trademarks is itc
research device? And so yeah, when you turn it on,
you can choose different frequencies and if you wanted to
sweep forward or reverse and the rate. So I'll turn
it on for a second and you can probably hear

(39:44):
kind of what it sounds like. So like, for example,
right now, I'm going to ask, is is there a
spirit near me right now here? Let me be more specific, Johnny,
are you with me right now in my house? Uh?

(40:09):
Let me ask this question. You know, my good, my
good friend Tim Peterson recently passed away, Tim Peterson, old buddy,
are you with me? All right? So you get the
picture of how this thing works, and you can see
why I was so shocked when it very clearly said

(40:35):
okay in a man's voice in response to some specific questions.
So that's something that's worth playing with, honestly. Why not?
So that night last night, after the investigation, here's the
weird thing that has happened so far at my house.

(40:55):
We have this little Chihuahua named Dolly, and and Lauren
is with Dolly almost twenty four to seven, so she
knows everything about this dog's behavior. And last night as
Lauren was getting ready for bed, I was in a
whole different part of the property, so it's just her

(41:16):
and Dolly. So there's a bathroom of course, next to
the bedroom. Lauren was getting ready in the bathroom and
she turns around and she realizes that Dolly is doing
something that she'd never seen Dolly do before. Dolly is
standing at the top of our stairs looking at the

(41:39):
stairs in that hunched alert stance that dogs get into
when they see something they're not expecting to see, like
a person. And she's not barking or anything. She's just
sort of frozen in this stance with her eyes locked
right there at the top of the stairs, which is

(42:02):
also a place where we have a lot of security
sensors and things which alert us if there's something spiritual
going on. So Lauren sees Dolly in this stance like
she's looking at an invisible person, and Lauren gets freaked
out for a moment because she thinks, what if there's
somebody there? And then Dolly slowly backed up, and then

(42:25):
she turned and ran straight into the bedroom. Now she
has a little doggy bed that she loves to sleep
in on the floor. She said, screw that, she ran
into the bedroom and leaped up onto the bed as
if she were going to I don't know if she

(42:45):
was running for her life or she was going to
protect Lauren. But you know, fortunately we have a very
good security system and so you know, Lauren was able
to you know, confirm that the property was secure. But
she said she'd never seen we' of course had Dolly
for years. We used to have a dog called Lolli,

(43:06):
but this one's Dolly. She's part of the old Dolly
Lama team. But you know, Lama is no longer with us,
but we have a lot of spirits running around this house.
But that was just very odd that right when we
came back from that expirit, that house, you know, this investigation,
Lauren had that experience. And also last night after the investigation,

(43:30):
Nick he had to go back to Boulder City to
give a Boulder City tour Haunted bouldercity dot com. It's
only thirty minutes from Vegas. I'm telling you it's a
really good tour. You know that Boulder City was built
to house the workers of the Hoover Dam. There are
so many weird stories about people who had tragedies and

(43:55):
deaths and things and surrounding the construction of the Hoover
dam I'll give you just that's one example. Just think
about this from it doesn't matter if you believe in
ghosts or not. Think about this from just an eerie
historic perspective. On the morning of December twentieth of nineteen

(44:17):
twenty two, there was a surveyor named J. G. Tierney,
and he slipped from a barge near the Hoover Damn
site and drowned. And when that happened, he became the
first man to die associated with the project. Exactly thirteen

(44:40):
years later to the day, his son Patrick Tierney fell
to his death from an intag tower, becoming the last
man to die on the project. There we go again,
ice water down the back, my friends, the goosebumps? Did
you I mean? Is that? What? Is that a coincidence

(45:04):
to the exact day thirteen years later? Father and son die,
first man, last minute. You hear these kinds of stories,
you know, when you when you take a ghost tour.
It's not like somebody has to jump out and go boo,
and we don't do any of that stuff, all right,
You just hear these stories and that's trust me, it's
good enough. And you get all the UFO stuff Haunted

(45:25):
Bouldercity dot com. And you know, we have some wonderful
YouTubers who come out and take the tour and we
give them like you know, like influencers, We give them
a VIP experience. Of course, Danny the Medic was the
first one. And just recently we had Paul and Amy

(45:48):
from the YouTube channel called Best Food Review road Trip.
If you don't if you've never watched their videos, especially
if you're in the Vegas area, get on YouTube. Look
up Best Food Review road Trip and the one that
they did about our Haunted Boulder City tour, it's actually

(46:12):
the tour starts at a place called Beer Zombies, and
you got in Boulder City, you can actually go to
Beer Zombies where we meet up and you can get
a beer, and you can take your beer with you
on the tour as you walk around town. So it's
titled Zombie Beer and Haunted Boulder City Ghost and UFO
Tour near Vegas. Look that up and thank you so

(46:33):
much Paul and Amy for doing a fantastic job. We
always love, of course to share what we do with
people who make YouTube videos. Okay, I told you I
had a celeb story for you. It's about the celebrity
chef Guy Fieri, and he actually has at least a

(46:53):
few restaurants here in the Vegas area. I'm sure he
has them all around the country. I think I ate
one of his places, oh, in Virginia or something like that,
might have been Maryland. Anyway. Fox News they have an
article by Stephanie jiang Punnon. It says Guy Fieri spoke
with his late father through a medium, and then in quotations,

(47:16):
it says Goosebump City Diners, Drive Ins and Dives host
claims he spoke with his father through a medium two
days after he died. Says the chef sought spiritual advice
to help grieve over his late father's death, and he
said his father died at the age of eighty one.

(47:37):
His father was named Jim. Fiery said it screwed me up.
He said, I had days if I don't want to
talk to anybody, don't want to see anybody, leave me alone.
Apparently he was on a show called In Depth with
Graham Benzinger, and of course, the Food Network star continued
to explain how he had this friend who was a

(47:57):
spiritual medium, and he said that he had a conversation
with the medium and she said, your dad is blowing
me up. He's all over about me. He wants you
to know something. And then he started. The medium started
telling guy fiery quote things that nobody in the world

(48:18):
would know. End quote. He said, let's see. She says
that they don't usually come this fast. It usually takes
five or six days. This was like a day or two.
And he goes, she's not full of it. I'm telling you,
this is the real thing. Something changed. All right. We

(48:42):
are at the end of the show. The Clacus Goddess.
Let's leave everybody with the positive note. Take a deep
breath if you can close your eyes, here's the good
fortune tone. That's it for this edition of the show.
