Supercars drivers are expecting chaos amid slippery track conditions during today's first race at Taupo Motorsport Park.
Veteran pit lane reporter Mark Larkham says the drivers are preparing for a wild ride on a difficult track and forecasted wet weather will add to the challenge.
The first qualifying session takes place this morning followed by a top-10 shootout ahead of a 60-lap race in the afternoon.
Former driver Paul Radisich joined D'Arcy Waldegrave to preview the event trackside.
