Jenn talks about watching animal vids from the Cabell Wayne Shelter.

So I am a sucker for animal videos, okay, And
so the Cavil Wayne Shelter Animal shelter recently has been,
you know, posting videos of the animals that they have
animal want to get adopted out and and no, listen, logistically,

I know that it would not be fair to Oscar
and Cali at this stage in their life. They're almost eleven.
It would not be fair just to bring in and
and what I want to do is adopt senior dogs.
You know, I don't I don't need a puppy right now.
I want to give you know, a senior dog a
really good life, you know. And so that's what I
want to do. But I know that that just be

kind of messed up to bring in a brand new
dog into the house with these two dogs.

Maybe they would let you take one home on a
trial basis, you know, see how your dogs handle the situation.

I see them around our family dogs like their cousin dog. Oh,
and they're like, no, get them out of here. So,
you know, I'm a little worried about that, you know,
and why upset the apple cart. You know, I got
enough going on. I got a toddler and a preteen,
and I've got all the hormones in the house. I'm good. Okay, listen, I.

Will say I am very interested. I would be very
interested to see how Buster would do with a new dog.
He's seven, yeah, I think going to be eight this year. Okay,
well at the end of the end of this year. Yeah,
he is terrible, like with Tracy's mom's dog Cooper, or

you know, for out walking the neighborhood and see another dog,
like he's just bad. He's not good. But I would
like to see how he would be if we brought
home another dog, just to be you know, to have
it home, because I was totally wrong about our dog Buddy, right,
you know, he hated cats, like the hair would stand
up on his back and he would bark, and he

would chase after him and everything. And then we bring
home Gray and I'm like, there's no way, but he's
ever gonna allow it. And what do you know, He's
like petting her right, letting her hang out on his back,
and he doesn't care and He's fine with it.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Gray was a kitten, right, that's correct. Okay, So there.
I do think there's a bit of a difference between
like a puppy and a kitten versus an animal like
a dog or a cat, a grown animal, because you
know that if they're a grown animal, I would think
they'd feel a little territorial, you know, and try to
and Cally, I'm not gonna lie. She's she's kind of rude.
She's she's mean to Oscar. Now, so let alone a

new dog, you know what I mean. That's so I
was telling Heath about this as he was fallowing it. Well,
we were laying in bed. He was not falling asleep.
We were talking and I said, so, I saw this
video on the Internet of these animals at the Cabalwayne
Animal Shelter. And as soon as I said that, he
goes yeah. I was wait, you are not asleep, I said.

And I'm not saying we're gonna go get one. I'm
just saying that, you know, we could maybe go look
if you wanted to. And he just started snoring louder.
I was like, oh, I know, you are not asleep.
