Speaker 1 (00:00):
So we were having a conversation with our engineer Scottford
yesterday and we were talking about BB guns.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Oh boy, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
So Scott grew up probably in the seventies, probably a
preteen or a teenager, I would say, in the seventies. Okay.
There weren't a whole lot of rules or restrictions back then,
especially for what kids could and could not play with.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Yeah, there's that, and there just wasn't a whole lot
of entertainment options with day and we Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
So you know, when you're younger and you don't really
have rules, you entertain yourselves. Then well you find a
BB gun, okay, And so they I guess Scottford and
his friends would always shoot each other with the BB
gun and not from too close but a little far away.
But he was like, yeah, hey, everyone't fun. I mean
I didn't kill you, but I was one fun. And

(00:56):
you mentioned that friends of yours might have shot at
each other before, but listen, you never participated.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
The thing was, when I was growing up, I remember
my friends having BB gun wars.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I was not a fan. I was like, no, that
stands off, guys. Listen, I'm not going to lose an eye, right,
I am not about that. However, my curiosity did peak
one day after my friends were out there playing with
their b beguns.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Playing hit everybody with a gun.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, shoot, it was it was a war game, okay,
and I thought, I want to know what that actually
feels like to be shot with b begun.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
So you shot yourself, didn't you.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Now listen, I'm going to tell you do not try
this at home, okay, But I no kidding, cupped the barrel. Oh,
I bought my hand at the end of the barrel,
and I pulled the trigger. It was a terrible decision.
I regret it good and I had a big red
blister right and my palm for probably months. I bet

(01:59):
you did.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Really, it really really hurts my God did so special
well so Jason, my brother when we were kids. I
think Dad might have paid out I don't know, like
five different insurance claims on this one, because he shot
out like multiple windows in our neighborhood with Beby guns. Now,

(02:25):
one of them was like an old junk car that
was in the backyard, right, but one of them was
a house. The m A I don't know, and I
don't even know what was going on. And now I
will say this about Jason. He takes the fall, so
it was not just him playing with that baby gun. Okay,
Derek was over, Joey was over. I don't know if

(02:45):
Kenny was there or not. I don't know, but I'm
just saying it wasn't just him. Okay, he took the
wrap and Dad's insurance took the hit
