Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I found a Reddit thread about cashiers calling out
their biggest customer pet peece. Okay, hear, oh so this person,
oh gosh, and I've heard this a million times when
she said that when a customer comes up and brings
the item that doesn't have a tag on it, so
then you know the cashier's looking for the tag, trying

(00:22):
to find the tag, trying to scan it, blahlah blah,
and they're like, oh so it must be free then, right,
oh yeah, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I'm pretty sure Tracy said that up.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I'm pretty sure my mom is that tag, and I
like the cashier in me.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I'm like, I've actually seen the cashier asked the customer,
could you maybe go back.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
And get the one when with the tag? So I
now look for the ones that have tags on just
in case. Now I've done that a couple of times, like,
oh crap, I didn't grab one with a tag on it.
As when people pull soggy money out. Yeah, so like
this is now. I will say it used to be
a lot more cash based when I was a cashier, right, Okay,
So I do remember women having cash in their bras

(01:05):
or stuffing it somewhere else oh my goodness, and it
was rather soggy. Yeah, no thing, that's disgusting.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Don't reach that to.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Me, Absolutely disgusting. And you know, those dollar bills have
been everywhere in the world anyway, so I don't need
them soggy in front of me now, thank you very much.
You ew people coming in five minutes before closing and
ignoring all of the announcements that they're closing.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
That's the worst.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's so rude.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I remember for me, I remember it ticking me off
whenever someone would put money like on the counter instead
of reaching it to me, Ah, I would just set
it on the counter expect me to pick it up.
So which reminds me. Tracy and I had gone to
Sandy's Racing and Gaming here recently, okay, and we were
talking to the cashier. Tracy had some questions and I

(01:51):
wanted to exchange a few bills, and I went to
reach it to her, and she said, I need you
to set it down. I can't take it from you,
so I had to put it on the counter. No,
she took it and then she changed the bill and
she had to put it down on the counter. Not

(02:12):
and then she like held her hands out and flipped
them over.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
You've got a show, so she could show the camera
and you that she doesn't have any cash in her.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Hands, exactly, like there wasn't any interest shady going on.
And I'm like, oh my goodness, that was the most
weird exchange ever.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I think you have to do that at casino things
like that. Yeah, like it's like protocol's protocol. That's interesting.
I didn't think about that.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I always ticked me off and somebody would come up
and put their money own.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Well, yeah, I'm right here. I can't just reach it exactly.
And this person says, I worked in convenience stores for years,
and without fail, every single holiday, somebody had to walk
in and say, oh sucks, you have to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Well you know why, because you're here
