Hey you, so this time of year, a lot of
businesses and companies are having, you know, their office Christmas parties. Yes,
and I just want to let some people know that
if you feel like, oh, I don't work in the
greatest place because I see my friends going to their
Christmas parties and getting all this stuff, well you're not alone,

because I did find a Reddit thread of people explaining
what terrible holiday bonuses in air quotes they received from
work this year. Boy, so you're not a black Okay,
I just want you.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
To know that.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
But let's start with this person said, I used to
work at the cheesecake factory and one year they gave
everyone get this cheesecake cheesecake. Oh boy, not from the
cheesecake factory, oh from Costco.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Shut up?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Thank got everybody shut What Why wouldn't you just use
the cheesecake from the cheesecake factory.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
What is happening?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
I don't want to hurt the Oh my goodness. So
this other person said, the boss sent out ten dollars
Starbucks gift cards to everyone okay, but then he also
laid off ten percent of the staff that day.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh shoot, oh my word.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
And he even said it's not a layoff, it's a
coffee break. That was heartless.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
It seems like that's not cool.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Wow, let's see here. Somebody else said that we were
told we were not getting anything for Christmas, okay, and
when asked about it, the management said, well, not everybody
celebrates Christmas, so we can't do that. Oh well, okay,
you could just do it out of the kindness of
your heart and say it's not for Christmas, it's just
because you're a great employee of the year, right exactly.
(01:55):
Something something This person said, Well, my company gave it
away or gave out T shirts at the company logo.
And this person said, I work for a company worth
almost two billion dollars and each of us got a
twenty dollars gift card. And he said, but it used
to be fifteen, so things are looking up.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Hey, oh man, all right, that is it for a Friday,
snowy Friday.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
I know I left the snow and.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
There's uh they're saying this weekend looking like more snow.
I started to say it could be like two to
four inches. Yeah, that's very exciting.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Well, okay, I'm down for it. You know I love
a good good snowy day as well. Oh, I'm damn
for it.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
