Dave talks about being voluntold he's attending a wedding.

is Key one hundred with Dave and Jen. We have
not had the chance to talk about this yet. But
a couple of weeks ago I got to attend the
wedding of Dakota Randolph and Sarah Mitchell. Okay, Sarah and
my Sarah have been friends for years, and my Sarah

was even in Sarah's wedding. Oh, okay, okay, And so
I guess Dakota had asked Sarah if I was going
to be at his wedding, and Sarah, I guess, didn't
misbeat and she said, oh, yes, he's gonna be here.
Hadn't asked me, hadn't figured out if I'm available to

be there.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
You didn't get an invitation to do?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Oh I did. I did get in. Our whole family
got an invitation.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Okay, okay, we were all in Okay, just specifically Dave, just.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
This invitation with the whole family. But the thing was,
she responded that yes, I would be absoletely he'll be
there before ever talking to me, and I said, I
don't even have anything to wear. And I said, you
get a new fit for every event and everything coming
and going so I'm gonna need to bind me new
fit to wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Wait, you're gonna need your daughter, Sarah to buy you
a new.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
B Yeah, because she agreed that I would be there exactly.
She signed me up for this.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
And I love how kids think that their parents have
nothing going on in their lives, Like I'm I'm the
center of your world, right, you don't have anything else
to do, right, And.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Dakota was super excited because he does listen to us
and he's like, you know, Dave's gonna be there right
all in at that moment, She's like, yes, he will,
he will be here. That's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I'm with you. I want a free outfit from her now.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
And also she didn't know that the buck Geys would
be playing at that very time. I'm like, what are
you doing to me?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Not cool, Sarah, not cool?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
But of course I went and it was awesome. It
was a beautiful wedding and Tracy and I are we
looked at each other whenever Sarah walks. Sarah was the
first bridesmaid to walk down the gir Yeah, you talk
about trying to hold back the tears. We got some
emotional both of us. Oh my goodness, I don't know
how we're going to handle which she actually is the bride,

the one getting married. Yeah, we're gonna be a hot mess.
Uh yeah, hot mess.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Well look, it took my parents thirty years to get
to that point, thirty two as a matter of fact,
So you know you got some extra time. He listen,
did you watch the game while you were at the
at the wedding?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I didn't watch the game. I did sneak some updates,
So do you know.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I went to a fall wedding one time, and I
swear to you, three men at my table had their
cell phones up, leaning up against their glasses while they
were eating and watching the whole time.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I was like, that's fantastic, genius side. So I did
get to meet Dakota afterwards. I'm known Sarah for years. Yeah,
and my Sarah even said, Dad, you've watched Sarah grow up.
You've got to be at her wedding.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
That's larious.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Well, yes, I get it. But so I met Dakota afterwards,
and he was like, so great to meet you. Listen
to you and gin I said, thank you so much.
He said, I got a question, are you as wild
as jin? And I said, and before I could even
get anything else out of my mouth, Sarah, his new bride, said,

(03:33):
the answer to that is no, she knows. But it
was such a sweet wedding and there's such a sweet couple,
super excited for him. Congratulations Dakota and Sarah Randolph. Congratulation
