Speaker 1 (00:00):
Key one hundred with Dave and Jen. You know, we
were in Cincinnati for the Tigers baseball run to the
regional championship. Now, they did end up losing yesterday. The
season is over, but man, what they've done has been incredible,
such a fun ride. It has been so exciting, So
(00:23):
proud of all those boys. The three seniors were incredible,
tyler Ian Nick and it was just such a fun season. Nice.
Here's the situation. Since the games, we're in Cincinnati. We
spent the night with the Rickmans, our good friends of
the Rickmans. That's where they live. Yeah, and super excited
to hang out with them and see them and everything.
(00:43):
Here's the thing. The following morning, Jackson and I went
for coffee. He wanted some breakfast burritos for McDonald's. Tracy
wanted a little Starbucks, so we were gonna hook him
up now and Leslie and Bo had Bo's orientation at
the University of Since how cool. Right, Mike was working.
Belle and Riley were still at home, and then Sarah
(01:07):
and Tracy stayed there as well. So Jackson and I
are pulling back into their parking lot. They live in
an apartment complex, and we walk up to the door
and it's locked. We had just left, like I don't know,
fifteen minutes ago, and so I text Tracy and Sarah
and I said who locked the door? There was no response, Oh,
(01:29):
no something. Then Jackson says, Dad, I don't think this
is the real house. Stop yet. And Jackson was the
one that walked up to the door and tried to
open it. It was locked, aren't you? And the two
of us looked around. I was like, Jackson, hurry back
in the car, hurry up. So we had made a
(01:50):
right turn into the apartments just before the Rickman's apartments,
which looked the same you two in this neighborhood, right,
And so I backed out rather quickly, got out of there,
went down the street a little bit, turned into correct
parking lots, and went, oh my words. Can you imagine
(02:12):
had their door been unlocked and we just walked into
strangers homes? Yeah, I can imagine. You wouldn't be telling
me about it right now.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Well, you would hope otherwise they could have met you
with something.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
And then you try their door, so there's probably somebody
in there, like, who's trying to get in my door?
Then you get in your car and your speed up.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
They're like, oh my god, they just cut their car.
And then they see you go to the next place, like,
oh my god, Sally walked into someone else. Thank the Lord,
this family locked their door.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I think the Lord's with you a lot. I'm not
gonna lie. I do agree.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
And it's also just another reason you.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Probably keep your doors locked, absolutely absolutely, and also verify
who's house you're going to. Good plan. Don't trust your
twelve year old, Okay.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
I mean I did drive him there so well.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I wouldn't trusted to you either.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Our battle on the way at seven forty and our
champ is Casey Sadler from Milton.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Look at her. She picked up her second win yesterday, Casey.
So we are on to win three for Casey and
that means fellas, if you want to play, you can
call right now three zero four six nine seven w
k E or eight hundred five four four w k E.
That's nine five three.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Three and we will do battle at seven forty. Good morning,
