Deep Fried Turkey 11/21/25

Dave talks about needing more deep fried turkey after trying it for the first time the other day.

excited for Thanksgiving next week. I hear you, buddy, You're
less than a week away. And you know I went
to McDonald's the other day for a little Thanksgiving meal. Yes,
and I got to have deep fried turkey for the
first time. Jen, I just cannot explain how amazing it was. Oh,

I bet tender, juicy, so full of flavor. Now, I
feel like I do a pretty decent job with the turkey.
I use a turkey bag. I prepare the turkey myself
every year, and I feel like I do a pretty
decent job. And it's usually pretty juicy and tender and
all that. But this was like bursting with flavor. Man

so good. Well Mickey, who's the store manager of the
Flatwood's location, he said, would you be interested in a
leg a turkey? I was like, dude, like, that's my favorite. Okay,
I'm a dog meat when it comes to turkey, when
it comes to chicken, I want all the dark meat.

He sent me home with two turkey legs. I was like, dude,
are you sure I'm serious? He was like, He's like, listen,
I don't want any of it to go to waste.
I know that not everybody will eat them. Please take them. Okay,
I got it, and I did, and I had them
for dinner that night. Oh my amazing. I'm the only
one that eats the drumsticks from our turkey really at

my house. I'm it why, I don't know. They're delightful now.
In chicken, everybody else eats, like you know, if they
get yeah, we go to KFC or whatever, I'll eat
the chicken legs. But when it comes to turkey, nobody
else eats, so I get two massive turkey legs all myself.
Oh my goodness. I got to figure out how to

make my turkey this year as amazing as that without
deep frying, because we don't have one of the big
boiler right and I'm so stilly air to deep fry.
I don't want an explosion. Yeah, I'd rather have a
very good professional who's done it seventy five thousand times. Yeah,
I'd rather them do it for me. Uh. And maybe
that's why you should do farm out your turkey this

year and be like, hey, Mickey, you want you want it?
Would you please? That's actually genius. Seriously let him deep
pray your turkey would that not be incredible? Yeah, because
it only takes like an hour. Oh boom, I'll pay
an hour for your time. Absolutely, how about you want,
